Asia Cup 2023 : आगामी एशिया कप में एक बार फिर से दो चिर-प्रतिद्वंदी टीमें भारत और पाकिस्तान (IND vs PAK) के बीच महा-मुकबला होने वाला है. यह मैच 2 सितम्बर को श्रीलंका में खेला जायेगा. उससे पहले पाकिस्तान के पूर्व दिग्गज गेंदबाज और पूर्व में कोच रह चुके वकार युनिस (Waqar Younis) ने इस मुकाबले को लेकर बड़ी प्रतिक्रिया दी है.

उन्होंने कहा है कि पाकिस्तानी टीम में इतनी क्षमता है कि वो भारत को दुनिया के किसी भी कोने में हरा सकती है और वो 2017 के चैम्पियंस ट्राफी (Champions Trophy 2017) में ओवल के मैदान पर यह चीज साबित भी कर चुकी है.

ट्राफी के अनावरण के दौरान दिया बयान

इसबार एशिया कप (Asia Cup 2023) की मेजबानी पाकिस्तान के पास है. ऐसे में टूर्नामेंट की ट्राफी के अनावरण के लिए एक इवेंट का आयोजन किया गया. टूर्नामेंट का मेजबान होने के नाते ट्राफी का अनावरण भी पाकिस्तान में किया गया. इस इवेंट में वकार युनिस ने भी हिस्सा लिया. जहाँ पर उन्होंने यह बयान दिया.

वकार ने कहा, हमारे समय में हम बड़े मैचों में भारत से नहीं जीत पाते थे. लेकिन अब अच्छी बात यह है कि अब हमने बड़े मैचों में भी भारत को हराना शुरू कर दिया है. उन्होंने कहा कि पाकिस्तानी टीम को मेरी यही सलाह है कि वो बस अच्छा खेले. जिस तरह का टैलेंट हमारे पास है, अगर हम अपने पोटेंशियल से खेलें तो फिर भारत को बिल्कुल हरा सकते हैं.

हम भारत को कही भी हरा सकते हैं- वकार युनिस

वकार युनिस के मुताबिक पाकिस्तानी टीम भारत को दुनिया के किसी भी कोने में हरा सकती है. उन्होंने कहा, इससे फर्क नहीं पड़ता है कि इंडियन टीम कहां खेलती है. अगर हम उन्हें ओवल में हरा सकते हैं तो फिर कहीं भी हरा सकते हैं. टैलेंट हमारे पास है, बस हमें टाइगर्स की तरह ��ेलने की जरूरत है.”

आपकों बता दें कि दुबई में खेले गए टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2021 में पाकिस्तान ने 10 विकेट से जीत हासिल कर वर्ल्ड कप में पहली बार भारत को हराया था. उसके बाद पिछले साल खेले गए एशिया कप में भी पाकिस्तान ने भारत को हराया था. हालांकि टी20 वर्ल्ड कप 2022 में टीम इंडिया ने एक रोमांचक जीत हासिल की थी.
