Who’s Who? (Into the Tempest Sidequest) Snippet from a contest of...throwing and attacking fruit! Witnessed from afar, this could definitely be mistaken as some kind of cult ritual, or bizarre hazing. 

Rolanda remembered how fun it was to throw bananas. They arced nicely. Yes, banana time. She whipped a banana at Nazyl's center of mass, hoping to catch him off guard.

Aiswyda stares at her retrieved banana, and figures second time’s the charm. She tosses it, and prays that it doesn’t land in the fireplace. Cooked banana? Very gross, very disgusting.

Rising Lotus took a banana out of the box. "Who needs it when you can aim like that!" she tossed the fruit towards him, giving it an awkward spin.

Mikha'l raised a brow, how exciting! He plucked up a.... Banana this time, tossing the thing into the air, eager to see if he would go for those this time. He would have thrown it like a makeshift boomerang... Maybe if he missed it would come back to him?

Ashemmi reaches and comes up with a banana, then lobs it again with no undo effort leaving it short of her intended target.

Nazyl is slightly surprised it's all bananas, but he liked a challenge. Using the remaining knives, he fanned them out one by one towards each yellow crescent, apparently hitting every single one! Each one sliced in half, he let out a breath, and relaxed his stance, "What's with all the bananas all of a sudden?"

Aiswyda: “B....buh..Buhnana.” Wyda is rendered speechless. With all the nanners flying in such odd patterns, to somehow get them all...What sort of banana sorcery was this?

Nazyl: "Buh...ye uh, ye alright Wyda?"

Rising Lotus broke into excited clapping once more, cheering at his success. "You're incredible, look at all those split peels!"

Mikha'l: "Well.. You must be some sort of bananamancer... Or mayhap they reminded you of some kind of yellow, strangely shaped voidsent?"

I think it is safe to say that ladies night went off without a hitch tonight! After four months of being on hiatus and having our doors shut, We had about approximately SEVENTY people attend our second annual Ladies’ Night at Epoch. 

Special thanks to those who donated their time to help us staff and tend to our customers throughout the night! Nights like these remind me of why RPing in this community is something that I’ll never find anywhere else in any other MMO.

Also special thanks to all who boosted my reblogs throughout the day despite it being a last minute post! I don’t think it would’ve been as big without the love and share. You guys are the blood of this community and I’m proud to be part of it!

gladiolus - who do you look up to most?

The Miqo’te sipped at her tea delicately. As she placed the cup down a warm smile spread across her face. “I have difficulty keeping it to just one, so you shall get two. ‘Twoud not be fair to leave either out.” She leans back in her chair with a small sigh. “The first I have known a bit longer and she would be the Lady Yarkul, or Ashemmi Yarkul as she is commonly known. She very rarely stands on formality unless you irk her or act insolent, but that is one of the very reasons I admire her you see. I was asked to describe her once and I could only say she is one of the kindest hearted, giving and nurturing women I have ever had the privilege to meet. She is a shrewd businesswoman, a superb artisan, and the consummate diplomat. She is scarcely much older than I am but she exudes knowledge and wisdom far beyond her years .” She pauses for a moment before she continues. “The other I met quite a bit more recently, though I knew *of* her long before I knew the woman herself. Her name is I‘voryne Thate. She is a performer at Lucky Sparrow and has become a dear friend. When I first saw her I admit I was..well, simply put, a fan-girl. I attended all of Lucky’s Shows and was so mesmerized by the performers and her in particular. I adore the others of course but there were a few songs in those early days I was there that really struck a chord with me personally which is why she stuck out in particular. She is a fabulous singer and performer and I aspire to be as good as she is some day. ‘Tis more than that though. She is kind hearted, sweet, caring, thoughtful...all the best qualities we should all aspire to have. I would do anything I could for her if only to see that impish smile upon her face.”
