One thing that will always be funny is how Aichi shoots up in height like a tree in between season 2 and 3 but is still relatively smol

Look at him. He’s as smol as Taiyou and Tokoha.

Also something I thought about is that the biggest missed opportunity in G was not seeing Aichi get hammered. He’s 21 let him drink. I would pay money to see Aichi drunkenly explaining the plot of season 1-4 to the G cast.

Long story short, I made a Magical Girl AU that takes place after Leigon Mate.

Shitpost Summary is Star-Vader Bravefang is angy about being a copy of the original so he and other units takes it out on earth while stealing Aichi's friends.

Wingal, meanwhile, accidentally fell in the still open portal and is the gang's Luna. (I will draw the magic protags, which are Aichi, Kai, Kourin and Ren)

I was suddenly thinking about how I would redo everyone’s teams of if I ever made a V-series version of the Pokémon Vanguard au so here

Definitely won’t make half his team’s type overlap—but I like Lucario…I almost replaced Lucario but it fits too much narratively to replace 😅. I’m also trying to find a fairy type that would suit him because I feel like he should have one.

He’s got scarier dragons

Misaki literally has one new team member oof. Her Metagross is still mega I just forgot to use that one.

I was sure that I originally intended for him to be a fighting specialist so this reflects that. I’m not sure about using Heracross’ mega🤔.

Kingambit fits Ren to a tee

Annilhape and Quaxalotal are very fitting

Of course she needed the weed cat

Edit: After some play testing I think the wisdom of my past self might actually be correct 😅. Palafin is individually stronger than Golisopod but the latter helps make Aichi’s team more balanced. So it would probably actually be this for Aichi. Mostly because rather than just being another strong sweeper it acts as a revenge killer and is great at setting hazards. I had used Haxorus for Soul Saver previously because there wasn’t better options.

Asaka was fairly sure that Ren was younger than her. True, he had an incredible amount of charisma, but it was hard to take him seriously given that he was at least half a head shorter than her.

So when he came into Asteroid, lanky body stretching like a cat with fatigue, she did a double take.

"Re-Ren-sama... you're so tall!"

Almost overnight, he had gone from a petite boy swamped by his black jacket into a suave pretty-boy with sculpted cheeks and an incredibly charming set of eyes...

There could only be one explanation.

"Re-Ren-sama....you had PLASTIC SURGERY???!"

Tetsu spit the coffee he was drinking across the room, hitting Kyou right in between his eyes.

"Oh, sorry."

AT FIRST THIS WAS GOING TO BE ALL SWEET AND STUFF. Because Ren going from short to talk while in Asteroid has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. Like Ren going "aww you didn't notice? I grew a centimetre every week ;3" (lies) and Asaka thinking about how they've changed so much together that it's natural for them....

BUT. I feel like this is more in line with what would happen canonically. LOL.

Alternatively, Kai joins New Asteroid and the first thing he says to Ren, smirking, is "Im still taller than you."
