I saw you did a Dom/Switch/Sub for the Ghiasuli guards could you do one for the Daryan?
OwO An interesting question...
. . .
Artair — Switch leaning toward soft dom. He’s a very gentle person no matter what, but it’s generally more comfortable for him to be the one in control of things, as he always is. When he does sub, it’s a very relaxing experience, but he’ll only allow it to happen with someone he trusts completely.
Harlow — She either operates as a very playful, teasing dom or a fairly bratty, difficult sub. Sex makes Harlow somewhat nervous, so she covers up her insecurities by making everything lighthearted a fun. So long as no one’s getting too serious about it, she can assume either role and not really care.
Orion — Not really either? He’s generally very passive during sex, and kind of just does whatever his partner wants of him. He can be dominant and cruel if they prefer, or he can lie back and take orders. It doesn’t really matter, so long as he’s not expected to do too much. And so long as his partner is content.
Gisen — He’ll act like/insist that he’s completely dominant, but the reality is that he’s a bratty sub who likes being put in his place... if someone can earn it. Gisen talks big, as one would expect, but when it comes to what he actually wants, a fight for dominance ending in his loss would be his ideal.
Rinme — She’s generally a dom who takes out her frustrations by absolutely torturing her sub, but if she’s in the right mood, she’s willing to try things the other way around. Rinme generally just wants some control for once in her life, so any situation where she’s calling the shots is likely to be acceptable.
Benniya — Switch in a weird way. While she’s willing to follow orders and be “submissive”, there’s always an unspoken expectation that her partner does their job to her standards. When she’s a dom, she’s beyond harsh and fully demands that the person she’s with submit to every command she gives.
Temperance — She’s a very cruel, nasty dom who delights in watching her partner squirm and cry. Very much a sadist. Temperance isn’t generally one to get personally involved in sex, though, so it would most likely be her doing something to someone without herself ever being touched or “included”.
Draven — Does it matter? Sex with Draven involves him going absolutely feral. Few people would be able to walk away uninjured. Dominant and submissive are hardly relevant concepts considering that all he wants to do is have as much fun as possible and enjoy the sight of someone being torn apart.
Konstanze — Completely, utterly dominant. Konstanze is a force to be reckoned with even in the bedroom, and she’s the kind of dom who all but destroys whoever she’s with. While not cruel, she does enjoy pushing her partner to the limits of what they can take in an attempt to match her stamina.
Joziah — Very much a sub. If you can get him to relax and obey orders without having to worry about failing, he actually calms down a little, for once. Joziah is most a fan of having his worries taken away via someone else assuming control... and of course, him doing everything possible to be good.
Galia — She’s a very soft, nervous dom. Galia is likely to accept being submissive just because she’s too scared to say otherwise, but when she’s comfortable with someone, she’s definitely the dominant party. It gives her a form of confidence to assume a role like that and see someone like it.
Zacharius — Switch. He’s okay with pretty much anything. If his partner was to wreck him, he can work with that. If they want him to take control, that works too. He’s not at all picky when it comes to roles, and has no shame either way. It’s just a matter of negotiation and figuring out what works for both people.
Winterkill — A terrifying dom who’s likely to turn her partner into some kind of experiment once she’s done. Or during the act, depending on what mood she’s in. Winterkill has no interest in being submissive in the slightest. If she’s not entirely in control and watching someone break, she’s not going to like it.

What kind of drunks are the Daryan guards? OwO
Artair — He’s probably the safest drunk. Aside from getting a little more relaxed and good-humored, Artair generally just stays in his seat, keeps to himself, and drinks just enough to feel calm for once. He’s never been known to overindulge on anything, so no one knows what he’s like when he’s truly, truly drunk.
Harlow — Honestly, alcohol just ups her anxiety. Harlow generally seems pretty okay, but when she gets drunk enough, she starts having panic attacks and bursts of intense anxiety that are basically crippling. She can never remember once she’s sober again, but strange things come to mind when she’s drunk.
Orion — When he’s drunk, everything becomes hilarious. Orion, despite his usual relaxed demeanor, turns into a giggling mess when he’s thoroughly intoxicated. He’s somewhat rougher as well, physically speaking, but he’s mostly just going to be laughing at stupid shit so hard he can’t stand up.
Gisen — He’s just a grouchy old man who doesn’t do much of anything but sit around and complain about whatever comes to mind. Gisen knows better than to get violent when he’s impaired, but he’ll absolutely talk shit about anything and anyone. He’s gotten himself into some trouble with this before.
Rinme — She’s a furious, raging drunk who wants to beat the living shit out of anyone who even slightly gets on her bad side. All of Rinme’s frustrations come out when her inhibitions are brought down, and it’s scary. However, she’s also prone to fits of hysterical, stress-induced, utterly inconsolable crying.
Benniya — She’s completely silent. It’s not exactly a surprise, but you’ll have a very hard time telling when Benniya is actually drunk. She doesn’t talk (which is nothing new), and instead just sits with her drink without engaging anyone. The only real tell is that her face flushes quite a bit and her balance is off.
Temperance — No one’s really sure. While she does drink socially, Temperance has never drunk enough (at least, not in public) to actually show any signs of it. She remains polite and composed while everyone else begins to lose their faculties... and seems to enjoy that part a little more than she should.
Draven — An absolute maniac. Really, what did you expect? When drunk, Draven alternates between starting loud, raucous bursts of song and dance, getting in the face of anyone he finds mildly irritating, and initiating brawls (either mass or just him) that are likely to end in corpses.
Konstanze — A mix of highly aggressive and just plain done. Konstanze does not relax when she has alcohol in her system. Instead, she gets twice as intense... and with a much lower idiocy tolerance, to boot. She’ll be calm enough on her own, but irritate her, and you’re asking for problems.
Joziah — He’s a lot like Artair in that he finally relaxes a little bit. Kind of. It’s... debatable. He’s every bit as hyperactive and intense as usual, but much, much clumsier and uncoordinated both physically and mentally. Someone usually has to keep an eye on him so he doesn’t wind up getting hurt.
Galia — When she’s drunk, Galia is just quiet. She doesn’t want to talk or interact with anyone, and usually refuses alcohol in public because she knows it’ll just make her want to go back to her room and stay there. She tends to get very depressed and miserable when drunk, so she avoids it when possible.
Zacharius — He’s a very jovial, friendly drunk who loosens up quite a bit and really just wants to get along with everyone. Alcohol lowers his usual defenses, and he winds up acting much more friendly than usual. The only problem is that he also gets more prone to impulsive behavior... usually fight-related.
Winterkill — Like Temperance, no one knows. She doesn’t drink at all, claiming that she can’t risk being intoxicated should something in her division require attention. People have various theories as to what the real reason is, but what’s clear is that Winterkill has no intention of showing anyone that side of herself.

Curious. How would Artair react to a subordinate who sees him as a father figure?
Artair is both fond of that situation and very much not. On one hand, he’s quite used to being respected, looked up to, and treated like someone both kind and impressively capable. Someone seeing him as a father figure isn’t too much of a stretch from how most of his subordinates see him, anyway, and he does kind of enjoy being able to lead in even that way. He’d be softly fond of a subordinate who openly sees him in such a positive light. But on the other hand, such a relationship isn’t exactly appropriate for the military, and Artair would worry that the way that subordinate sees him is getting in the way of their duties and success. He wouldn’t want anyone to be held back by their attachment to him or personal feelings.
As focused on duty as he is, Artair wouldn’t be sure what to do with that. On his own, he finds it heartwarming that he can be such a good influence on someone and a stable figure in their lives, but he also doesn’t like that he’s not behaving in a fully professional manner. There’s no room to be so soft on people in the Guard, no matter how much he wishes he could be. However, the reality (as it is) is that Harlow already sees him in a similar light, so as long as the subordinate in question can keep their feelings mild and prevent them from interfering with either their duties or his, Artair would likely let it continue... especially if it leads to better results.

Artair Montgray Bio
Name: Artair Montgray
Species: Daryan
Race: Blackscale
Role: Commander External within the Daryan Palace Guard. A major commander within the Guard, and someone who’s both looked up to and obeyed. Deals with external threats to the Daryan kingdom.
Affiliation: Palace Guard
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Height: 6’2
Appearance: Artair is a tall man with a broad build. He’s not bulky, but has obvious strength. His skin is relatively fair, his brow has a bit of a permanent furrow, his nose is prominent, and his mouth is usually set in a slight frown. His eyes are a very dark blue. His hair is a medium shade of taupe, slightly tinted with purple. It’s styled in loose waves around his head, with shorter bangs and sides and back that fall almost to his shoulders.
Special Abilities/Strengths: Artair is a Commander for very good reason. He’s intelligent, quick-witted, a skilled tactician, and a good leader. His physical abilities are equally impressive, leaving him a cut above the rest. Artair is mature and sensible. He’s perfectly capable of working on his own, but does just as well on a team. He’s good at getting along with people, and knows how to compromise and bow his head for the greater good. He’s considered a well-liked leader and a friend to those who serve under him.
Weaknesses: Artair is a bit too wrapped up in his position. He’s an overworker who pushes himself to his limits far too often. His job means that he always has a massive amount to do, and he will often choose work over personal wellbeing. This exhaustion can get the better of him, especially in tense situations. He tends to lack sympathy for people who can’t what he considers their part, and the war has made him rather jaded and cold. He’s distant when it comes to relationships, even with his own family.
History: Artair is from an average household. His family had distant connections to low nobility, which helped to push him and his niece, Galia, through the ranks. Artair grew up learning to fight and joined the Guard as soon as he was allowed. His family life was always slightly turbulent, and Galia is the only person he has much of a connection with anymore. He became Commander External six years ago and has held the position well, even leading the division through the end of the 300-year War.
Relationships: Artair’s relationships aren’t typically ideal. He has a bad habit of putting his job before all else, and has cut connections with most of his family because of it. His closest relationship is with his niece, Galia, who both looks up to him and feels lost in his shadow. Within his division, Harlow sees Artair as someone to respect, Orion is deeply impressed with his skills at strategy and battle, and Gisen has a grudging sort of respect.
Personality: Artair is a serious, mature man who does everything thoroughly and fully. He’s dutiful and mature, feels a needs to push himself to his very best and goes above and beyond for his responsibilities. He’s extremely loyal to the royal family, Aracaan specifically. He’s even-tempered, good at teamwork and cooperation, and does well under pressure. A natural strategist with a lot of talent for battle, Artair is someone who looks like he was meant for his role. In reality, he pushes himself at his work at the cost of letting go of everything else in his life. He lacks any kind of fulfillment outside of the Guard and doing his part for the kingdom.
Interests: Artair likes long workdays, pushing himself to become better, seeing his soldiers succeed, and being busy. He dislikes downtime, any kind of failure, and when people refuse to cooperate. His hobbies are filing paperwork and leading his soldiers in training exercises.
Abilities: **TO BE ADDED**
Miscellaneous: Artair became Commander External two years before the end of the war. He hasn’t quite know what to do with himself since reaching the highest rank. He gets along well with Analaya, who’s assigned to his division. He’s rather self-conscious of how well he performs at any given moment. He’s something of a perfectionist. He’ll eat nearly anything. He sleeps strange, short hours. He’s always tired, but will never admit it. He loves Galia dearly, even if he doesn’t know how to show it. Most of his family won’t speak to him anymore. He loves learning new things.
Connotative description: A mature, powerful leader of the external division who isn’t quite as perfect as seems. The kind of person who does well, but sacrifices everything for the sake of his duties.
