ship questions!!! general 9, and love 14
question list: (x)
Sorry for the delay in answering- brain needed a break after going ham on that last ask answer ^^;
II.9. Who gets jealous easier?
Tbh I think it's hard for G'raha to not feel a tinge of jealousy when Arsay and Y'shtola get to go on whatever adventure they want and not have to really worry about larger responsibilities like he has with the students of baldesion. But that's the extent for him...
Funny enough, in terms of a romantic context, it's actually Arsay of the three of them that gets the most jealous. She's aware of her tendency for it and is never happy with herself when she starts feeling it! She absolutely respects her partner's freedoms but she's just got that nasty worm in her brain that makes her afraid of being left by the people she cherishes so deeply... Thankfully it's not something she has to deal with often! It's specifically Runar that bring it out the worse in her. He's not subtle AT ALL about his feelings for Y'shtola and it drives Arsay up a wall.
I should stress that Arsay is never nasty to her partners when she gets jealous or insecure. If anything she just gets a little more hands-y; hugs em tighter, holds their hand all the sudden, gives them a peck on the cheek mid convo, that kind of thing.
AND TBH I don't think Arsay ever once noticed that Y'shtola and G'raha actually do both get a bit possessive of her when fans of the Warrior of Light start getting a little too chummy with her. but that's usually because Arsay is dense and doesn't notice someone is flirting with her until its far too late.... she just thinks her partners are spontaneously being cute with her!! how lucky!!
III.13. How do they make up after an argument? Who is the first one to apologize?
Disagreements rarely last as Arsay will inevitably attempt to make things right before the day is done- even if the spat is between G'raha and Y'shtola! This usually entails her showing up an hour or so after the fact (when everyone has cooled down) with a sweet treat or new tome in hand as a gift. She'll a joke, evaluate the mood a little, before going into making peace mode. I wouldn't say there's any consistency over who verbally apologizes first. It really depends on the situation tbh! They are all mature enough to own up to being in the wrong. Arsay, and I figure G'raha too, has a tendency to feel like they need to apologize for things they don't really need to as well. In the end, things always get settled with a great many number of kisses ^w^
III.14. Who is more protective? Who would get into a fight to defend the other? Who tends to the other's wounds?
They are all equally, and fiercely, protective of each other both in and out of battle! To be honest I think they all have that "I'd rather die than loose you" mentality which means they are always covering each other's backs in a fight. (Okay well G'raha definitely does. Arsay is more of a "I refuse to accept a world where I live without you" and Y'shtola is a "If the only option is to put myself in harms way that's what will happen") They all have access to healing magic (though G'raha and Y'shtola's are much more potent than Arsays) and will tend to whatever wound they can asap. As an almost light party they have pretty great synergy and there's no foe to great that they can't tackle together!!
Whats more important is that they look after and protect each other in a more holistic sense by looking out for each other emotionally and raising each other up to be the best version of themselves! Arsay is G'raha and Y'shtola's biggest cheerleader!! She's always making sure to remind G'raha that he's her hero and to never sell himself short. As well Arsay will forever enable Y'shtola's freedom to research whatever the hell she wants and ensure her safety & health while doing so!! G'raha too will always provide support and encouragement to Y'shtola's endeavours; he greatly respects her wit and magical talents. He's stopped idolizing Arsay to the insane degree he used to and has shifted into 'make sure Arsay understands that she's allowed to be a regular person and still be loved' mode. He cares so much about her 😭 Similarly, Y'shtola is always the first one to help inspire a little more selfishness in Arsay. Not in an anti-social sense, more in a self-care type of way. She's also the one to push Arsay into spilling the beans when something is bothering her and often the voice of reason against Arsay's anxieties.
#graharshtola#arsay nun#idk if that last paragraph really makes sense but basically they protect each other from themselves#im hitting psot on this cause its been sitting in my drafts too long and ive overthought these questions to death lol
