Somewhere online I read a post that said "Lestat topped Louis and now Louis tops Armand" and I really didn't think too deeply about it; I don't think about things like that much. But also I felt like "mhmm.. Armand seems to exert so much power over Louis, I'm not seeing it". But then Armand was so vulnerable in this episode, and you could see how much he yearns for the love of someone who is eternally occupied by someone else, whether or not he knows it, and he later refers to Louis as 'maître' and now I do in fact believe it.

#IWTV #Loumand #Disclaimer: I absolutely understand that topping does not equal dominance and bottoming does not equal submission #That being said I fear that is what the OP and I now understand how they came to that conclusion #Armand was willing to give up anything and everything and to allow Louis to embarrass him over and over again because he was in love #The same way Louis was willing to continue to go back to Lestat over and over and over again because regardless of anything Lestat ever did #He loved him to the moon and back and he never stopped loving him #I never read the books and have no intentions of doing so either #So I will say I do not care if there is a season for each book (although I would love that)#But I NEED to see the inevitable Lestat / Louis reunion before I die.. like PLEASE #It'll be better than anything we've ever seen before.. dare I say even better than the church scene of S01E01
