I love American Arcadia (the game ) so fucking much, you have no idea. Just watched the gameplay for it today. It's silly, it's fun, the commentary is insane; going in as someone whose special interest is theme parks and as suck watches a lot of defunctland and knows a bit too much about the EPCOT project just made the whole thing so much better!!

I also ngl, having watched The Truman Show and even having finished reading 1984 would've helped me get some more references and parallelisms, but alas, I haven't

Also the main character looks so much like The Stupendium it's unreal, literally the only reason I headcanon the mc as enby now lmao

In my internal worldbuilding for Gallifrey, I’ve come up with a few major cities for it (including some culture building for Arcadia), and I’ve put and can further put a lot of imagination into most of them; but I’m not gonna lie, I’ve got one that’s literally just Epcot. And I mean Walt’s original city of tomorrow; not the park we got.

And even more surprisingly, I did not end up forming it to be that because of my love for Disney park. That idea would’ve probably failed miserably if it had come to fruition here on Earth with humanity, but it is an absolute perfect fit for Time Lords. Even the design of the city, with some modifications, would fit perfectly among the architecture of the other Gallifreyan cities we’ve seen.
