Do you know what day it is?

It’s the 9th of January, which means it’s Eiji Arashiba’s birthday. Your man’s not enormously a big fan of parties and birthdays since it’s less important to him. You wanted to throw in a little party at the Titan Book Cafe before Eiji gets back from his job to save this family man’s kid. 

You asked Kazuma to help you with the cooking, he personally didn’t seem to mind at all. Kagami, Yamato and Minato came over to help you with the little party decorations. Kazuma cooked some food and even baked an amazing strawberry birthday cake. 

Kagami messaged Eiji to ask if he finished his job, even told him that something major happened at the cafe when nothing bad happened so that was to get him and his attention. Everything was ready, the cake, the food, the little party decorations. 

“Everyone, he’s coming back now.” Kagami warned, putting his phone away before heading to his hiding spot. “Quick! Someone turn off the lights!” You shouted in a whisper, Kazuma was already on it. Yamato and Minato hid together behind the counter. Kazuma in the kitchen and you beside the entrance of the Titan cafe hiding in the dark. 

The door rang the shop bell with Eiji heading inside, cocking an eyebrow of amusement wondering why the lights are switched off in the cafe, “Okay, guys, what’s really going in-” Eiji flinched a bit as he got immediately cut off when the lights were turned by you and a loud bang of party poppers were shot colourfully in the air by Minato and Yamato as they came out from behind the counter. 

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY !” You and the others sputtered beamingly, Kazuma slipped out of the kitchen revealing a big strawberry cafe in his hands. The candles on it sparkling up little flames of joy. Eiji smiled amusedly, shaking his head, “You guys…” Before he could speak, you hugged him from behind giving his waist a small, loving tight squeeze, “Happy Birthday, you goofball. I thought we should have a small party since you don’t like anything grand.”

“You…” Eiji twirled you around so he could face you properly, his smirk widening, “You didn’t have to do all of this, baby.” He fling his arms around your waist, pulling you in for a passionate kiss. Kazuma turned his head away in embarrassment as his older brother did that to you, he still isn’t used to all this romance stuff. 

You kissed Eiji back, squeezing his shoulders gently with that smile gleaming on your face, “I know but I thought-” 

Eiji shushed you with another kiss, not wanting you to say another word. His face full of love and adoration, “Let’s all have a piece of cake right after I blow out those damn candles."  He then leaned in to whisper to your ear, “After the cake, I’m going to take you upstairs to my room and eat you up.” 

Yamato covered his little younger Minato’s ears since that poor kid is too innocent to hear that sort of thing. Kagami blushed, covering his face as he laughed out of embarrassment behind his hand. Kazuma was not amused by this. “EIJI! WHAT THE HECK, BIG BRO?!” He shouted, a red flush dotting on his cheeks. Then the whole Titan book cafe drowned into a blast of laughter.

Since then, Yamato Kai became a new addition to the team with Eiji still leading it. Things started to change while some parts of it remain the same except the fact that Eiji still has you wrapped up around his finger, thinking about you constantly everyday. 

Whenever he’s not very busy managing the Titan Cafe, he would often come and spend time with you. You don’t seem to mind it at all, liking and enjoying his company as always. You always love to bake; especially at the Titan Book Cafe with Eiji giving you the permission to. Kazuma and Yamato sometimes watch you, your baking skills amazes them. Even Minato, Yamato’s younger brother, whom sometimes visits the cafe. 

While checking up on the tray of chocolate chip cookies, someone came knocking on your doorstep. Wondering who popped over and visited you this time. It was obvious; Eiji Arashiba came knocking down on your apartment door. He was suddenly out of breath leading you to wonder why he’s in that state of rush. “Eiji, is everything okay?” you asked, closing and locking the door after he came inside.
