You and your content makes me so happy, I love bugs and spiders and everything creepy crawly. So here is a picture I took of a giant Malaysian katydid at the new Orleans insectarium. I love their cute face.
I love those things. it makes me gnash my teeth sometimes that all the insectariums are hoarding the Arachnacris for themselves. I think I should be able to wield the power of a banana-sized lettuce eating noisemaker

Arachnacris “spider-grasshopper” is an ok name but the old one Macrolyristes “giant lyre-player” is so pretty
