OCtober: Day One

Day 1: Introduction to OC

I’m a bit behind on my OCtober posts but I’m going to get all five of them out today! First up is one of my ME OCs from my ME RP: A Creature Without Fear!

Aqil’Osher vas Cerberus

Aqil is a young quarian who left his fleet to begin his Pilgrimage and drifted from planet to planet until he found some good work in Ilium. However, his job there soon led him to come face-to-face with George Michael, the new leader of the radically changed Cerberus, who are dedicated in uncovering and destroying all Reaper tech, believing such technology is too dangerous to be implemented and the galaxy is better off with all Reaper remnants to be nothing more than awful memory. George Michael’s conviction was so persuasive that Aqil left his job to join Cerberus and become one of GM’s most trusted officers. 

However, poor Aqil has also fallen in love with his boss but hides his affection, knowing GM will never look at him that way. He is learning to get over his unrequited love. But no matter what, he will follow GM to hell and back. His relationship with GM is very similar to the loyalty Hawkeye has for Roy Mustang in FMA.

I didn’t get a specific character for this ask so I’m going to choose Aqil, one of my ME OCs, for this.

5. On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

Well, his quarian suit has rather slim pockets so he only has paper notes, extra parts for a drone, and an extra cartridge for his pistol. 

6. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?

Acceptance, love, a better future, and finding the right knowledge to complete his Pilgrimage. 

7. Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?

He rarely has nightmares but when he does, it’s either watching his boss, GM, die, or having his homeworld and parents utterly destroyed with no hope of recovery. 

8. Has your character ever fired a gun? If so, what was their first target? 

Yes, he has. A practice target was his first target--it happened when he underwent some basic shooting and self defense training so he wouldn’t unprepared or taken advantage of when he was on his own. 

9. Is your character’s current socioeconomic status different than it was when they were growing up?

It’s generally the same but maybe a little bit better since he’s working with a newly revised and different Cerberus. It’s probably his best paying job so far. 

10. Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing?

Since he’s a quarian and needs his enviro-suit to survive, Aqil is definitely comfortable with more clothing. He likes layers of them, actually.

Character Dancing Gif Meme

I’ve seen a couple people whom I follow do this before and I always wanted to give it a go since it looked like fun but time got away from me. So I’ll start off with a few characters now and later, do another batch for any group of my OCs. :)
