First of all :

I'm Areej I was an English teacher before war and everything change after October 7. Also I'm a creative writer at we are not numbers.

Also I am a mother of three children. We have lived through the war for a year and a half, and we have lost everything we own. My husband is a man who did not work before the war and even now. And I lost my job in teaching because of the current situation, the school was destroyed and many of my poor students was died by the missiles 😭

So i did not have a breadwinner or any source of income . But I didn't give up to teach so I volunteered to teach some students near my camp in IBM Rushed school. There where many family were displaced from the north of Gaza. Actually it was a good chance for me to know more people and to try to engage students with English after this bad war. I held many activities with the for fun and learning and they were happy for this great chance so I hope to return to have my project to enable more students to engage with my voluntury work. I hope you help me and understand my holy target for helping students in their education. 🙏🙏🙌💯

Your help also will also help me in rebuilding my own family home.

Today, after the war, the truce has entered its first phase in Gaza, and I now live in a tent and do not have a house after it was destroyed by missiles. I now ask you to help me rebuild my house. And buy basics for the daily essentials for my children and I need money so that we can stand up again and start again.

This war wasn't easy at all it has taken many friends at work, students and some of my colleagues at the university. They are almost ten souls I won't never forget . Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.

1.If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza!!!!! OMG PIZZA! I would be happy! and terribly sick.

2.What is your biggest pet peeve?

I hardly ever lie to people its just something I super rarely do, like once every 4-10 months kinda rare. My mom ALWAYS thinks im lying to her. "Hey, did you smoke/drink/getarrest?" "NO! i was at my friends house drinking sunny D and playing pokemon -_-"

3.What is your favorite food?

PIZZA!!!! And on occasion Tri-tip and a tuna and bacon sandwhich.

4.Would you rather be poor or ugly?

I know people have their own beauty, so Imma choose poor. I would rather be happy and poor then rich and losing my soul.

5.Do you prefer talking over the phone or face to face?

I believe I am 10x funnier and crazier in person, and i also like to see people's face when I have a deep conversation with them. Its nice and revealing. Face to Face.

6.What would you be doing if you were not here right now?

Studying and hwk. :/ also music!!! 

7.What is the first thing you do in the morning?

Make myself breakfast and watch some videos while i eat it :D

8.What is the least favorite thing about this week?

I wanna say all the homework and tests this week, but Its part of growing up so I take it as a positive :)

9.What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

This is difficult since I horse around alot. Charged the library (w/senior HS class), almost got ran over (in Vegas, fuck cabs they dont give a fuck), actually got now that i think about it some old dude crashed onto me not long ago (September) --- was at the hospital--- missed an exam--- all good though.  I would say its alot of little crazy moments with me so ill give a few other examples. 

Jumped into a car while it was moving. (friends took all the seats then joked that i had to walk, so i jumped in while it was moving and proceed to get spanked. That's an all guys school for ya.) 

Ran 6 miles in 115 F heat (never again)

I climb alot of things im not suppose to....

Imma stop this from rambling.

  10.If you found a $100 what would you do?

Give it back to the owner and if there is none either pay some debt or save up for the PS4 and next Xbox :DD

11.What is the last dream that you remember?

I swear, I had like 5 DREAMS of me blogging on tumblr I KID YOU NOT! All of it last night. -_- I lucid dream alot.
