http://digitaltechnologynews.com/ Apple iPhone 8 Plus vs Samsung Galaxy Note FE Smartphones Apple iPhone 8 Plus Apple has unveiled the iPhone 8 Plus - a bigger variant of its redesigned, reimagined iPhone. This handset could be similar to the 8 in terms of looks and feel, made of glass on the front and back, while a stainless steel frame around the sides keeping it all together. We're not sure if the overall size of the iPhone 8 Plus is going to differ compared to that of the 7 Plus, but it is believed that the screen will cover a greater portion of the phone's front. And if that does not sound futuristic enough, it is speculated that the phone will ditch the home button and fingerprint sensor, integrating these into the screen itself. At the back, a dual camera is expected to be found - one similar to what the iPhone 7 Plus boasts. The next-generation A11 chip would provide the processing power required to drive iOS. Samsung Galaxy Note FE The refurbished Galaxy Note7 or Note FE is reported to come with a slightly smaller battery size, possibly down to 3,200 from 3,500 mAh, which will avoid the cell compression problem. The downside here, of course, is that this means less battery life, which isn’t ideal if you’re a power user and that’s exactly the sort of customer the Note series aims to please. There’s also the age of the hardware to consider too. The Note 7 will be around 10 months old by the time it reappears as the FE, and in that time 2017’s flagship devices have surpassed the Note 7’s performance. That being said, the Exynos 8890 is still a solid performer, and the phone’s QHD AMOLED panel, 12 megapixel rear camera, 4 GB RAM / 64 GB flash memory combination, and IP68 water resistance rating, among other features, are still very competitive.
