Sorry if this is awkward but about the Shrek au, wouldn’t PIF and Erlang be cousins? Because PIF is the Jade Emperor’s daughter in this canon and Erlang is his nephew in JTTW…
Yes
In "The Monkey King and the Infant" au I'm writing, PIF and Erlang were deliberately engaged to one another despite their familial connection.
This is because mainly during dynastic times, it was considered "ok" to marry cousins together if they didnt share a surname - ie. it was ok for JE to marry his daughter to his sister's son. Even though it was still considered mega-weird by everyone else.
In JE's mind it made sense at the time; directly marry his wild nephew into the family so he can't run off and cause mayhem + tie down his least obedient daughter. Win win!
What the Jade Emperor didn't account for was;
Erlang and Iron Fan both thought the pair-up was gross.
They had zero attraction to one another.
They both had... similar romantic interests.
So one day during the Brotherhood-era where JE tried to fast-track the marriage, guess what happened?
DBK, busting on in with his bros: "I OBJECT!!" PIF, running from the altar: "My love!!" :D Erlang, sigh of relief: "Oh thank the Pure Ones." Yue Lao (god of marriage & love): "You and me both. You two would have killed eachother by the honeymoon."
The wedding-crashing was one of the incidents that would eventually lead to the Siege on Heaven.
Erlang would get arranged married to Ao Cunxin Third Princess of the Western Dragon family (character from Prelude to the Lotus Lantern tv series) sometime after the Siege as a show of good faith to the dragon kings. The pair-up didn't last long cus of differences and they no-fault divorced sometime after the Journey era.
Jade Emperor is still confused why his nephew is so "ungrateful" for the wives offered to him. Erlang can only roll his eyes at the complaints.

Same anon who's been trying to do research on the dragons and I've been trying to find if Ao Cinxin (敖寸心) even exists since her only mention is on Wikipedia, there's no citation to this claim, and the page on Longnü doesn't mention the disciple having gone by that name, much less being the daughter of Ao Run.
That being said, however, if Ao Moang is... Ao Moang and Ao Lie is the regarded as the family disappointment, then I can see this hypothetical sister and disciple of Guanyin as being Señorita Perfecta.
The Golden Child.
Practically perfect in every way.
And if she were to be a disciple of Guanyin, then that'd be alot for her brothers to live up to.
OH! I see what you're putting down!
You have a situation similiar to the one with Isabella and Mirabel in Encanto (spoilers for the movie btw).
Ao Cinxin is the perfect child, she's Guanyin's dissciple for crying out loud! And Ao Moang is the first child, all expectations fell on him at first. And maybe he was meeting those expectaions until Cinxin was born and then the first prince fell out of graces pretty fast. And it's maybe why he started to act like an asshole at first! It doesn't justify him but it explains it. Maybe he started with Cinxin but when she left he started to do it with a baby Ao Lie.
And that just starts a cycle of putting all the expectations on the youngest child while also knowing he'll never be as good as his older sister

Filmes sobre Comunismo
1965 - Doutor Jivago (Doctor Zhivago)
1984 - Os gritos do silêncio (The Killing Fields)
Sidney Schanberg (Sam Waterston), repórter do The New York Times, vai cobrir a guerra civil do Camboja.
(Good Bye, Lenin!)
Enquanto a Sra.
2005 - Karol - Um homem que se tornou Papa (Karol: A Man Who Became Pope)
2008 - O Grupo Baader-Meinhof (Der Baader Meinhof Komplex)
Alemanha, anos 70.
2008 - A História Soviética (The Soviet Story)
2009 - O Ultimo Dançarino de Mao (Mao's Last Dancer)
2017 - Colheita Amarga (Bitter Harvest)

Ao Lie always has mixed feelings whenever Cinxin visits. On one hand, she's alot nicer than Ao Moang and he's pretty sure she's at least part of the reason his life was spared.
On the other, she's also incredibly passive-aggressive at best and blunt at worst and doesn't even realize it. And that's to say nothing on the insanely high expectations she placed on her family by becoming Guanyin's disciple—not only on her brothers, but on future generations as well.
Ao Lie may have traveled with a monk and three demons on a Buddhist mission for several years, but no one ever lets him forget it was because he'd been forced to, especially after JttW gets published.
This does nothing to lessen Ao Moang's jealousy towards his brother however, because at least Lie did something. And save for the occasional family reunion, they pretty much cut off ties completely after Ao Lie becomes the new owner of the Dragon Blade over him.
—Serenity
Ao Cinxin didn't really do anything wrong, expert like you said, being passive aggressive, but she didn't even realize it. Heck maybe she even compliment Ao Lie once JTTW was over, even if it was in a back-handed sort of way! But at least she did that!
Meanwhile, Ao Moang did nothing to better himself and actively antagonized Ao Lie. I can only imagine how bed things turned out when Lie was the one to receive the jade sword instead of Moang.
I don't know if in modern days Ao Moang is still alive, but even if he is, it's a good thing he kept himself away from the Long family, or I can only imagine the misery he would have brought to that family simply because they were Ao Lie's descendants

Basically! XD
Considering the bad history between the Monkey King and his family, it takes awhile for Moang to actually see Sun Wukong as a friend, but he gets there eventually. If nothing else, the monkey has certainly proven to be a valuable ally.
Honestly, at this point, the only member of the Ao family who isn't on Monkey's side for one reason or another might as well be Ao Run!
—Serenity
I think the other child Ao Run has, Ao Cinxin probably met Wukong only once and briefly, and she was still like "Yeah, I like him more than father"
Ok but, fun idea: Wukong does get to adopt the other two Ao kids as his young siblings but they don't know it's him. Basicaly, disguise time

I feel like they'd at least suspect Wukong was trying to make them a part of his family, but as Uncle Guang always told them, they just let the monkey do what he wants. Moang would probably be confused at best since they're all adults and have been for centuries (even funnier if he actually turns out to be older than Monkey, but we all know that won't stop him XD) and Cunxin actually has her father's love but knows he's terrible to her brothers, so she doesn't really care either way, so long as her other siblings are happy and safe.
Sidenote, but yeah, I finally checked and it's actually Cunxin! She appears in a show called Lotus Lantern Prelude!
—Serenity
Nothing is going to stop the Monkey King from adopting someone, doesn't matter if Moang whats to be adopted or not XD

Goddammit now I gotta go change the tags

Imagine Cinxin meeting Tripitaka, though. Obviously he's excited to meet her and they're seemingly getting along rather well at first, until she brings up how she'd heard of his many, many kidnappings and how the monkey was smarter than him, implying that Buddha and Guanyin should've chosen someone else to make the Journey.
Tripitaka starts to defend himself, but because Cinxin genuinely thinks she's being helpful (and maybe also because he secretly agrees with her), Ao Lie just tells him it's not worth it. She'll be back with Guanyin in a few days anyway.
Bai Long might have not spent a lot of time with his sister but he knew when a fight was lost.
Arguing with her was probably not a good idea
