i dont really follow you but i do stop by every once in a while, and it's bc i really like your naruto fics (there's two now! its awesome!!) anyway i don't have really any specific questions but if there's literally anything you'd like to say about any of your fics i'd love to hear them!! i feel kinda awkward not asking any questions so ill try to brainstorm a few:

do you have any hatake clan headcanons? or ig would you expand on them? you mentioned it a bit in the kakashi & minato fic

was shikamaru any good at carving before making the pendant for sakura, or did he have a small pile of attempts by the end of it?

also in the shikasaku fic, you mention naruto is good with seals. did he learn from jiraiya, someone else, or on his own?

hatake clan headcanons.... my main one is ofc the "hatake eat people" one because i read all of ourliazo's kakashi fics and it changed my brain chemistry irreparably. most of the ones i subscribe to are the usual run-of-the-mill hcs: wolf summons, pack instincts, canine teeth (all the better to rend the flesh from your bones, my dear!), etc etc.

one of my own hatake hcs is that they're just all fucking awful at dealing with grief. the real reason why (in my head) the hatake clan was whittled down to just sakumo and kakashi before sakumo killed himself despite a clan-wide history of martial excellency was because basically all the able-bodied hatake were sent out during the first shinobi world war. it was fine at first, bc they're all batshit crazy powerful, flinging around lightning jutsu like they're tossing candies and mazel tovs at a jewish wedding.

then, one of the pack is killed. all falls silent.

a hatake throws his head back, howls his fury at the heavens, and the skies split with lightning.

basically, it was sort of like a feedback loop; one hatake dies, another goes fucking crazy in a feral beserker rampage to avenge them (killing a whole lot of people bunch of people through sheer proximity to the white chakra crackling around them but ultimately making themselves easier to kill through sacrifice of technique for brute strength and viciousness), and then they die, and now we've circled back to stage one.

sakumo didn't go nutzo bc he fixated on the village. duty and loyalty and preservation of the hearth & home. a wolf forcing himself into the shape of a sheepdog so he'll be allowed to herd the flock. he made the entirety of konoha his pack and, well. we know how that story ended.

so really, by hatake terms, kakashi is positively mentally sound! isn't that incredibly funny to think about? (actually i have tons of thoughts about kakashi and the concept of suicide and how he's only not dead because how would obito see the world through his eye if he was too dead to see anything at all :( but i won't air allat out here lol. this is already too long)

this is less a hatake clan hc and more a kakashi hc, but in my mind kakashi totally started wearing masks because he just wouldn't quit biting people that annoyed him. and as a precocious toddler smarter than all his peers and also quite a number of adults, many, many people annoyed him. it didn't really stop him from biting people, but the scant amount of time spent dragging it down gave sakumo and later minato (though not so much after sakumo died and kakashi turned into a rulebook) enough of an opportunity to grab him before he could lunge teeth-first.

tbh the token thing was totally something i made up on the spot, but now that i think about it, woodworking does seem like a shikamaru sort of hobby, huh? i like to think ino forced him to find one for himself that wasn't cloud watching or shogi when they were kids because she found both horrifically boring. shikamaru likes to whittle while on watch during missions because woodworking + playing a game of mental shogi against himself + paying constant and vigilant attention to his surroundings is probably the appropriate amount of stimulation to a nara mind in focus.

i said naruto was good with seals? where did i say that? i tried to ctrl f it, but came up with nothing. maybe you've got me mixed up with another fic?

If you don't factor in her obsession with Sasuke do you like Sakura?

I don't have any problem with her Obsession with Sasuke... Really... Yeah, I said this as one of the reason in many of my posts... But that reason is just a mere supplementary to an already written novel.

I mean she was introduced to the readers as someone who wants to steal the kiss of a guy... Did I hated her at that time?? Not really.

Her Insensitive & Asshole behaviour towards every other characters we came to love and adore... Is the biggest problem in her. And Sakura was doing all these because of her Obsession with Sasuke. She would put Naruto, Ino, Sai, Kiba, Lee, Her parents, Tsunade, Karin even Sarada under the dirty ditch if that could get her Sasuke.

My point is "Was it worth??? Was it necessary??".

Naruto was also insanely obsessed with Sasuke. But when Sasuke was planning to destroy Konoha, didn't Naruto say, "Sasuke, Our battle will be inevitable, if you do attack Konoha..."????

You know what this scene is equivalent to??? On my first watch, It reminded me of a typical Girl asking a boy, "Hey dear, If there is a situation where Your Mom and Myself were in grave danger, and you could save only one person... Whom will you save?? Who is more important to you, me or your mom??".

The Guy will say, "Of course my Mom. But I would die with you anyway... Because I can't live with a regret of letting my mom die... But also I can't live without you... So, I'll save my mom and die with you"

Naruto did the exact same thing here...

Did Naruto started to hurt anyone or indulge Sasuke to hurt other people under the name of the love???

And what did Sakura do??? She left Sai, Kiba and Lee exposed on the middle of the road... She was planning to kill Sasuke, Fakely confessed Naruto knowing full well that Hinata love him... Geez.

There is this misconception that "Independent and Strong girls needs to be Violent, Badass and Kick the ass of other men". But that’s not true at all. Feminine Women can also be Independent, Strong and still they can achieve their goal.

Take for Example, Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones. A Thoroughly hated Character in the Fandom.

She started out much like Sakura. Like an Annoying Idiot who puts a boy over her family... She hated her Family and Home because it was boring and dull... She wanted a pretty prince in shining Armour to come save her... And When a situation presented itself, instead of Choosing her own Family... She chose her Prince. And her naive decision was what later came to shoot her foot in a worst way possible... 

Because she ended up losing her family (they were all massacred). Her Home was burnt... She was made to strip off her clothes in front of many People... She was intentionally left to be raped by some angry mob. Her Father was beheaded And the reason behind all of her miseries was that sadistic Prince she always wanted for herself...

To be factual, she became a Pawn for other’s Game.

But instead of being a Damsel in distress and waiting for someone to come save her.... She started to use her wits and practical thinking (She is not a Warrior type), and decided ‘Enough is Enough... Instead of being abused by all these people... Let me stand up for myself... I want to reclaim my Home... That’s my place... Now and Forever’. She has a good administrative and tactical skills.

You see... A Character who started out very similar to Sakura evolved into a Mature woman and ended up becoming a Queen who was loved by many people in the End. Oh, By the Way... She didn’t end up marrying anyone though... She contextually said, “I don’t need any man to rule my Home”.

However, the Fandom still hates her from the bottom of their heart... Because the Fan Favourite, Badass character ended up committing Genocide.... Whereas the allegedly “useless” AKA the most Feminine Character ended up becoming a queen. 

I too hated Sansa in the beginning just like how I hated Sakura... But as the story evolved... My feelings also evolved the same. Today, 90% of the fandom hates her through their bone... But I fall on the 10% of the people who admire her despite she had never shown the trait of Kick Ass, Slay bad guys type... She was gentle, patient, kind and yet sharp-tongued by calling out Bullshit as Bullshit.

Don’t you think I would have also loved Sakura if only she had not ended up being an Asshole to atleast one person???? Atleast one????   

The Reason I brought Naruto dying along with Sasuke scene is to show that Had Sakura been empathetic and considerate to other people and stopped Sasuke from destroying other people.... then Her Obsession would have been justified... 

The Reason I brought Sansa Stark is to show that Had Sakura. at some point, realized that losing/disrespecting the Bonds she had with others for the sake her sex drive is Simply not worth it... Then her Obsession for Sasuke would have been justified...

It’s okay to have priorities.... Naruto has one, Sasuke has one... Sakura prioritizing Sasuke is not a problem at all... But AT WHAT COST????

Gonna have to give this to NaruHina (Naruto x Hinata - Naruto). It just doesn't work in my brain. Perhaps my ships from above will help elaborate as to why, since I clearly like both characters to be independent/strong-willed. I enjoy witty banter and... oh, I don't know... for them to be able to... have a conversation, maybe? Anyway I don't want to hate on any ship here but that's just MY OPINION.

Also Kataang (Katara x Aang - ATLA). They just give platonic friend vibes. Aang is 12. Idk about ya'll but when I was 14, I didn't have crushes on 12 year olds... Like I get they could grow to love each other as he got older, but I never liked how they got together LITERALLY when he was 12. Weird. Again, just my opinion plz don't hate me.

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

My two little emo babies Zuko and Draco have THE BEST character development, hands down, no questions asked. I love a good bad boy turned good thing. When Draco throws Harry the wand?! When Zuko finds Team Aang and teaches him fire bending?! My heart literally sings every time. I love those boys so fucking much.

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending? 

Oh, yes. I am sure I have more but these are the two that instantly popped into my brain:

Shikamaru has a Daddy Kink. He loves it when you call him Daddy. He will deny it, of course, but every time you say it he wants to throw you against a wall and fuck your brains out. Shika is a Daddy, 100%.

Kakashi is an ass man. He loves to watch you bend over, he loves to grab onto it (especially in public!), he loves when you wear leggings, and he loooves to play with it in the bedroom. He enjoys all shapes and sizes of ass, he isn't picky, he just wants you to let him grab onto it as often as he wants.

Some time ago you said you wanted to make a Kingdom Hearts AU, who do you think would be who from Naruto to KH?

I did say that! And I am indeed very slowly working on screencap redraws with Naruto characters in place of Kingdom Hearts characters!

But anyway~ I already have a pretty good idea on most of the og cast (og as in, Kingdom Hearts characters, not any Disney or Final Fantasy characters) and this is what I have so far decided for my interpretation of a KH AU:

The Destiny Trio (Sora, Riku and Kairi) is going to be Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura (with a small Tsunade appearance as Kairi's grandma), the Seasalt Trio (Roxas, Axel and Xion) is going to be Obito, Kakashi and Rin and the Lost Trio (Ventus, Terra and Aqua) is going to be Shisui, Itachi and Izumi

Naminé, Vanitas and Rikuplica are going to be Hinata, Menma and Activated Cursed Seal Sasuke (since there isn't much difference between Riku and Riku replica, at least at first before Riku grows up, I decided to just use a different version of Sasuke and use the version of him with the Cursed Seal active and the wings like we see at VotE1)

Ansem will be Orochimaru, Xemnas Madara, Xehanort Danzō and Eraqus Hiruzen

The Twilight Trio (Hayner, Pence and Olette) is either going to be Shikamaru, Choji and Ino or Neji, Lee and Tenten

Of the organization, around half of them are yet to be determined. For now I've decided that I'll probably use Sasori for Xaldin's place, Kabuto for Vexen's, Genma for Luxord's and Deidara for Larxene's, plus Madara, Kakashi, Obito and Rin as I said before. I would also like to use the rest of the Akatsuki but I have we'll see

So for now the ones I have yet to decide are Xigbar, Lexaeus, Zexion, Saïx, Demyx and Marluxia for the Organization 13, Ansem the Wise, the Foretellers (Ira, Aced, Invi, Gula and Ava), the Master of Masters (although it's hard to decide on someone in his place since we don't really know who he is) and I think that's all the original characters covered!

(And ofc Luxu but, I mean, those who know... Know 👀)

If anyone has any advice on who to use for the ones I have not yet decided, do let me know! Some of the ones I do have decided might also be up to changes, but not all of them
