🙄 How do you handle boredom and monotony?

"The humans of this world are many things, but I would not call them boring, as a whole." Individual lives can be dull, yes, but those usually weren't the ones that crossed paths with Khonshu anyway. (Unless it was for all the wrong reasons, needing protection.) "Still, even my work does get repetitive. Cycling through Knights keeps things fresh, all wielding my powers differently. My current Avatar has made the last few years very interesting."

... He supposed the most boring parts of his existence was the time between Avatars, when he couldn't act much on the physical world and had to save up his strength. It's a wonder he hadn't gone insane during some of the longer stretches, but... well, with a life as long as his, even decades could go by in a blink.
