Help, why do those gifs of geno in his blocky-ass suit look like they belong in a video retrospective abt a mediocre russian public school debate team? This is maybe too specific an association but ?!?!?! He’s forgetting the term for “strawman” and just saying “fuck you” in english until a teacher catches on, he only joined the club to appease his mother, he’s wearing the same suit to every event and making off-color jokes about siberians until people forget he is one.

I confess I have no idea what this is talking about, haha :) I will agree though that the suit looks early 2000's.

#Please assume i know nothing about R*ussian culture or school or anything lol :)#I had one friend born in R*ussia in high school and sasha was....uhhh... Extreme #Speaking of debates sasha and our IB history teacher used to really get into it but in like a show off-y way?#I dunno it was a lot of yelling we were always on sasha's side bc Mr Keogh used to bait sasha for being R*ussian and nationalistic #I was intensely jealous of sasha because the whole group was the alternative but smart kids who were way cooler than i was and dressed bett #And had the insanely best taste in music and threw the best parties that i never got invited to #And yet somehow still got A's in all the same IB classes i took #They were the ones who would name drop bands or musicians and i'd have to quickly go home and google #We didnt have cell phones back then #I honestly dont remember if sasha was part of the obsessive debate team nerds there was definitely some overlap between the groups #I was absolutely not in debate that would have scared the shit out of me lmao #I was the kid who always got in trouble for not speaking up in class but still got A's because my essays were always flawless #Anyway i feel like geno is an example of how not all R*ussian teenagers magically knew how to dress well like sasha did just sayin #Also keep in mind this was 2004-2007 so teenage me's idea of dressing well was like an avril lavi*gne or good ch*arlotte music video
