#I failed 2 consecutive college sems. I got the credits but my gpa was too low both times#I'm still on my first financial aid grant and idk if I have to pay it back now that I'm on suspension#I dont even have the money to pay back what was left after financial aid.#My family has made it very clear that I have no support from them if this happened and it did.#I'm a goddam teenager. I work a minimum wage job part time. I cant.#Everythime someone failing college came up they would say how stupid they were and what a waste of space and that I better not be like them#After I left HS my dad didn expect me to go to college and explained I would have to buy my own insurance and whatnot#Anytime I tried to bring it up with my mom she would coldly tell me I better not fail or else.#I did everything. I went to the classes. I took the notes. I did the tests. No drugs. No partying. I still. Fucking. Failed.#I was stressed all the time. My sister pointed it out and all my mom said was that I had no reason to be stressed out it was stupid#I obviously cant expect support from those people much less tell them I failed twice.#I didn't expect to even get this far. I might have mental illness. Since it takes a million years just to get an appointment that *might*#*or just maybe* get me a referral to an evaluation I'll never know.#Anything I get from my family is completely conditional. My dad treats me like a stray dog.#I've considered suicide to not drown my family in debt since the grant dies with the user but they laugh at suididers#If I Kms-ed I would get ridicule beyond the grave and no prayers. Its sick and twisted. It almost amuses them to th think about.#If I tried and failed that it would be even worse.#I'm only holding it out bc these assholes come from super religious families and would probably condemn my soul upon hearing the news#Like...the last girl in out family to not follow their views was totally outcast and still shunned and shamed today#I can only hope that some horrible accidenttakes me out of the picture or that my brain damage is so bad that I'm forgiven from it#Even if the only damage is that I have to skip a semester my family wont take it well and my ass is still on the line#I cant fucking tell anyone (irl) anything. I cant trust any of them. I cant rely on any of them. I hate it.#I am beyond trapped. Theres no way out of any of this.

🐾Night Terrors & New Beginnings - Part 7 (Living with a Monster)🐾
Tumblr media
Once school started up again, things got harder. Izuku was determined to keep Dakota a secret until he figured out what to do with her, but at the same time, he was aware of the fact that each day was one step closer to her wounds healing completely. The thought made him suppress a shiver as he wandered down the halls, the hustle and bustle of the students creating a dull roar in the building that allowed Izuku to drown out all other thoughts. He made his way carefully to the lunchroom, his mind was just vaguely aware of Iida and Ochako who were chatting idly beside him. His eyes scanned the mass of students in front of him and he suddenly felt fearful and self-conscious. He twitched his hand so that the blue mark was hidden behind his back and his unmarked fist tightened a little on his backpack straps.
“Hello? Earth to Deku…”
Izuku was suddenly aware of the fact that Ochako was trying to get his attention, her hand resting on his shoulder. He flinched involuntarily and she removed her hand quickly with a light blush dusting her cheeks.
“Deku are you alright? You seem kind of skittish,” She said, her eyes glittering with worry.
“Yeah, Uraraka is right, you have seemed awfully worn out and concerned lately, are you taking your meds?” Iida chimed in, his glasses glinting with the reflected light of the windows as he turned his head to look at Izuku properly.
“Yeah, yeah, sorry guys, I’m just really tired is all, those meds don’t have a sleep amplifier in them so my mind keeps me up at night sometimes,” Izuku replied, his hand retreating to rub at the back of his neck nervously.
“Are you sure? You seem a little more than just tired, you know that you can tell us anything right?” Ochako asked, her voice filled with a worry that made Izuku blush slightly. Izuku looked at his two closest friends, his heart torn between keeping Dakota a secret and settling his friend’s worries. He bit his lower lip and took the time to think while their conversation was interrupted by the act of getting food from the lunch line. Eventually, though, the trio made it to a table to eat and his friends were still staring at him as if he were about to drop dead. Finally, Izuku sighed and made a decision.
_____________________________________
“Mom, I’m home, and I’ve brought friends!” Izuku called once he had entered his house and locked the front door behind Ochako and Iida. There was no answer to his call, and upon entering the kitchen, Izuku found a note from his mother that said she had gone out to buy some supplies from the store and to contact a veterinary office about having someone come by to check out Dakota. Izuku crumpled the note and threw it away before opening the fridge door and ducking in to see what food they had available.
“Iida, Ochako, do you guys want anything? Any snacks or drinks?”
“I am alright, thanks Midoriya.”
“I’m good too, Deku!” His friends called from the living room. Izuku pushed some food around in the fridge before finding some fish in the back, fish that Izuku knew his mother was not planning on using anytime soon. He found his friends standing in the living room, exploring the space and admiring the apartment space despite the lack of things to admire.
“This is a nice place, Deku! Hey, what is that fish for?” Izuku was about to respond that his home wasn’t much when he remembered how little money the Uraraka family had so he swallowed down his first answer and smiled.
“Thanks a lot, Uraraka! It is small but it is cozy and it is the perfect home for both my mother and I. As for this fish, I am going to use it in a moment because it has something to do with what has been keeping me up at night.”
Iida and Ochako glanced at each other before nodding for him to go on. Izuku took a deep breath and sorted his thoughts in order. He planned to tell them about Dakota but he meant to keep her true identity a secret. He did not need them panicking or getting themselves killed, he still had no idea how Dakota may react to him bringing new people to the house to see her. He did not want to accidentally let on that she was not actually a dog.
“You see, about two days ago or so, I went out with my mom for dinner in hopes of relaxing a little and taking my mind off of some of the recent events that have happened to me. We had a great time but on our way home, we encountered this dog. She had black fur and these beautiful gleaming eyes, it was almost as if a piece of the night sky had wandered out of those bushes. She was a really impressive animal but she was injured, to the point where she collapsed in front of us. We didn’t want to leave her there and all of the nearby veterinarian offices were closed for the night so…”
“You took her home didn’t you, Midoriya?” Iida asked, pushing his glasses up on his nose, his eyebrows furrowed as he processed what Izuku said.
“Yeah, we did. That is what has been making me so skittish and anxious. She is a little on the aggressive side but she is mostly just scared for her life. I have been cleaning her wounds and trying to heal them as much as possible as there is no way we could ever take her to a vet, she would never in her life let us pick her up again. That is why my mother is gone today, she is trying to see if a vet would be willing to stop by the house to see what is wrong with her, but until then I’ve been taking care of her basically twenty-four seven.”
“But what about school then?” Ochako asked worriedly.
“Yeah, well that is why I was so anxious and out of the loop today, I’ve been stressing all day about her. I know my mother has been here for most of the day but you just never know with a strange dog you’ve just met at your house. I honestly don’t know how she will react to meeting you guys but I thought I’d give it a shot because I trust you guys and I needed someone to confide in.”
Ochako and Iida were silent for a moment before Ochako stood up and leaned in to give Izuku a tender hug. Izuku was a little bit shocked at first, his arms hesitating awkwardly over her back, but then he threw caution to the wind and returned her affections.
“Thank you for trusting us, Deku. I promise we will help you in any way possible with this injured dog, alright? We don’t want you to get too far behind in class right?” Ochako said as she released him and smiled at him. Izuku looked at both of them and smiled genuinely.
“Alright then, thank you so much, guys! Are you ready to meet her?”
“Yeah!” Iida and Ochako stood up and followed Izuku down the hall to his bedroom. Izuku blushed a little at the fact that he forgot to clear out some of the All Might memorabilia in his room, and tried to ignore the fact that his bedroom was even labeled with an All Might sign. Forcing down his nerves as the trio reached the door, Izuku finally turned the door knob with one hand, his other hand holding the plate of fish up high. He opened the door a crack and peered in carefully, checking to make sure Dakota had not healed enough to be waiting by the door for an ambush. He only felt himself relax a little when he saw her curled up in her makeshift bed, as usual, her eyes watching him warily but somewhat less coldly. Izuku then pushed the door all the way open so that the dog and his friends were able to see each other clearly.
Dakota tensed immediately but did not growl or bare her teeth, she just watched. Iida and Ochako peered through the opening and looked down at the dog, Ochako bringing her hands up to her mouth and Iida nervously readjusting his glasses again. Ochako then mumbled something behind her hands and Izuku turned to her, worried that she was scared of the dog.
“What was that, Ochako? Are you alright?”
“She is beautiful,” Ochako said, removing her hands from her mouth so that everyone in the room could hear her clearly. Dakota’s ears perked a little at that and her tail thumped twice and then stilled.
“Oh my god, Deku! I can’t believe you found this dog just wandering around the streets, injured and alone! She is the most gorgeous dog I’ve ever seen! I bet she will be a real prize-winner when she is fully healed,” Ochako gushed, her eyes never leaving the black dog. Dakota lowered her head a little, Izuku could almost describe it as a bashful move and licked her lips slightly. Her tail thumped twice more and Izuku’s eyes widened.
“Wow, congrats Ochako, you are officially her favorite person, I have never seen her wag her tail that much in one go.”
“Granted, you have only had her for two days, Deku,” Ochako said with a light blush decorating her cheeks but she smiled anyway and took a slow, tentative step forward. Dakota raised her head again and lowered her ears slowly but still did not act outwardly aggressively. Ochako still stopped once she saw the dog tense and turned to Izuku.
“May I feed her?”
“I don’t really know, Ochako, she is still pretty aggressive, this is the most calm I’ve ever seen her.”
“I understand that Deku but I would like to try something and I need to be able to feed her to make it happen. I promise I won’t go through with it if she starts getting agitated.”
Izuku rubbed the back of his neck as he hesitated, his eyes roving over Dakota and her more relaxed stance. She was definitely still tense but at least she wasn't trying to tear anyone’s hand off. Yet.
Finally, he sighed and nodded, handing the plate of fish over to Ochako.
“Promise me you won’t let her hurt you?” Izuku asked.
“I promise,” Ochako responded, taking the plate and facing back towards the dog again. The dog eyed both the fish and Ochako but did not react when Ochako took a slow step forward.
“Deku, what is her name? Does she even have one?”
“Yes, I have been calling her Dakota. She seems to like it, or at least, she tolerates it.”
Ochako nodded and took another tentative step, her body position slack and relaxed, and her eyes shifted to the side so that she could still watch the dog but avoid making eye contact with her. Finally, Ochako was close enough to lean down and place the plate in front of the dog’s face, her body remaining lax as she barely bent down at the knees and pushed the plate to the dog. The dog hesitated but then lunged at the plate, the fish caught in her jaws before she leaned back into the dog bed and began ripping at the meat. Izuku and Iida both flinched a little when the dog went for the meat but then felt the tensions drift away slightly once she settled back down into the bed. Izuku and Iida were both expecting Ochako to slowly back away from the dog, but to their horror, she leaned down closer to the dog. She was not an idiot, she knew that even though Dakota was busy eating, she knew that the dog was watching her every move and would not hesitate to strike despite her injuries.
Izuku and Iida beckoned for her but she ignored them and raised her hand slowly until it was at the same height as her stomach so that the dog could see it clearly but was also not threatened by the idea of being hit. The boys wanted to launch in and stop her but they knew that that would only make it worse so they waited and watched, ready to bolt in and grab her should everything go downhill.
Moving at the pace of a snail, Ochako slowly snaked her hand past the plate and came to hover over the dog’s shoulder. She waited for a moment and took a deep breath before resting her hand ever so lightly on Dakota’s fur. Dakota immediately froze, a piece of meat hanging limply from her lips but she did not attack.
“Shhhh… shhh… easy girl, my name is Ochako Uraraka. Your name is Dakota, right? That is a very pretty name, very fitting for such a beautiful creature,” Ochako spoke in a barely audible whisper, a blanket of determination and courage fogging over the fear in her eyes so that they shone. “I am here to help you heal so that you can be free to do whatever you please. You are a good dog, a really good dog.”
Ochako moved her hand at an even slower pace than before, her hand able to detect each and every piece of fur that passed beneath it. She kept her hand on the shoulder, just twitching her fingers as a form of petting. At first, Izuku didn’t notice it as his mind was clouded with fear for his friend, but then he felt it. Very lightly, very softly, he felt a warm, pleasurable sensation drift from his shoulder and flow down his arm as if someone had poured liquid gold over his skin. He didn’t know why he felt this way and he stared at his arm as if there were an alien attached, but he wouldn’t say that he hated the sensation, in fact, it felt… nice.
As soon as the Izuku realized that the sensation was there, it was gone, just as Ochako lifted her hand from Dakota’s shoulder and leaned back on her heels before standing very slowly and backing away from the dog. The dog continued to watch Ochako, ignoring the fish clamped in her claws until she was all the way back at the door with her friends. Then, just before the floaty hero in training turned away, Dakota thumped her tail two more times and went back to eating her fish. The trio left the room and closed the door softly behind them. As soon as the door was shut, the three of them let out a breath they each didn’t know they had been holding.
“Uraraka! Are you out of your mind!?” Iida exclaimed. “Midoriya, no wonder you don’t sleep at night! That was some of the highest stress I’ve ever felt and we are heroes in training for god's sake!”
Izuku shook his head, his hair swaying as if he were shaking rainwater off of him.
“Yeah, Uraraka you could have gotten really hurt, I told you she was aggressive. I don’t really know why she liked you so much in particular, but I was really worried about you. Please don’t do that again without letting us know what the plan is first,” Izuku said. Ochako felt her face flush, she was embarrassed to have caused so much trouble even though nothing really happened and she knew that she should have told her friends what she was planning but she was happy she got to try out what she wanted to do.
“I’m sorry Deku, Iida, I won’t do that again, I promise but I am glad that she let me touch her like that. I wanted to test something out.”
“What was it that you were testing for?” Iida asked, wiping his forehead with the back of his hand, the anxiety having caused a light sheen of sweat to build up.
“I think part of the reason why she is so aggressive is that not only do her wounds suggest that she has been seriously abused by a person, but I don’t think she has been lovingly touched in her life, ever. When I pet her, she was wary but I could also tell that she was just scared and so desperately lonely. She may not understand Japenese, but you saw her reaction when I complimented her, I don’t think she’s ever even been looked at without fear or aggression. She just wants someone to love and for someone to love her back. She wants to know kindness. I was testing to see how she would react based on how I approached her and since she was wary but still let me touch her, I’d say she is willing to give it a chance.” Ochako had been speaking to both boys but now she turned her whole attention to Izuku.
“Deku, please don’t ever give up on that dog. She is one of the most unique creatures I have ever met, I can just tell just from having this one interaction with her. Treat her like someone who hates heroes because of some kind of accident, someone who needs help but pushed everyone away. I’ve seen the look in your eye when you see someone in need, promise me you won’t ever lose that spark, especially when it comes to this dog.”
Izuku stared right back into Ochako’s determined eyes, his heart racing and his body trying to force his breathing into a normal rhythm again.
“Ochako, I promise.”

Water and Ice- Chapter 10: Vale
After the Fall of Beacon
Weiss was back to the Schnee Manor, since Beacon Academy have fallen at the hands of Grimm. All she could do now is just look at her window where airships are flying by. The mansion is nothing but a silent place. The only time there when she has a conversation is when her close confidante and butler, Klein is called to let her know that her father calls. She wishes her sister would be there to assure her that everything will be alright. But the truth is, it isn't. Now Winter is still with the Atlas Military to find some answers about the Fallen Event. The house, no the manor is nothing more than a prison in her father's presence. Her brother minding his own business complaining about his sisters' "barbaric" huntsmen training.
The worse part of the chaos is when she is seeing her friends injured, scared, and sad. Some classmates crying over the loss of their teammates and loved ones. Such horrific images still stuck in her head. Ruby running up to the tower of Beacon to save their friend, Pyrrha Nikos whose battle cannot be won against a formidable foe. Blake, happened to be stabbed on the side of her abdomen. And Yang, whose left arm was cut off trying to help Blake against an enemy. Her teammates are more like sisters to her since the day they formed a team; Team RWBY. It was their first time at the Vytyl Festival, and their enemies have ruined it.
The other worse part of the Fall, is that her father, Jacques have showed up in his ship. "Father?" She said in shock. But her ankles have shaken. But she tried her best to keep her composure. Yang, still lying on the ground, injured. Watches in sadness to see her friend leave. Neptune notices some red flags judging by the slight reaction of Weiss seeing her father. "Time to go, Daughter. There's no use in staying in this useless obstruction." Jacques said coldly. Making the students shocked of what he was saying. Neptune gently grabbed her wrist as she reluctantly walked towards him.
"Hey, you don't have to." He insisted. Making Weiss flustered. But she shook her head and pulled away her hand. "Sorry, everyone. I have to go." She apologized.
"Don't make me warn you again, Weiss." He sounded more serious. That's when Nora Valkyrie, a ginger-haired girl with a black sweater vest, white shirt and pink skirt came to her defense that Weiss wasn't asking for to not cause trouble for them. "Hey, old man! She doesn't have to go if she doesn't want to! So why don't you just pack up and leave?!" Nora yells at him. As her friend Ren, a raven-haired boy tried to intervene before she hurts anybody.
"Yeah! Go home before we make you sorry!" Sun backed up.
"Weiss, come on." Neptune offers to take her away from the conflict. But seeing how ruthless and powerful her father was, she knew things would be worse for her friends if she resists. She takes one look at Neptune one last time before departure. "I'm sorry, I have to go. There's nothing we can do now. However, I wish you all safe." Weiss stepped inside the ship before it lifts off.
Back in the Manor
Weiss is sitting on her bed waiting for her sister to at least come home for a visit to feel better. Everywhere she goes in the manor, her father has constant eyes. Then a knock on the door. It was her butler, Klein. Despite working under her father, he was the closest friend and father figure Weiss had been close to when she was younger. He didn't like the way Jacques have treated his daughter. So he tried his best to keep her happy while keeping in low profile. "Ms. Schnee."
"Yes, Klein?"
"I believe this letter is for you. I must say, I never thought you'd be getting letters since you left for Beacon. Let me know if there's anything I can do."
"Thank you, Klein." She nods after Klein have left for other occupations around the household. Weiss then looks at the letter, there was no return address. But she opened it to see who the letter belongs to by reading it.
"Hey Snow Angel,
How have you been? I was wondering if you're okay. I know it wasn't the best time writing to you this letter. Pretty awkward, right? I know we haven't spoken much since the Vytyl Festival. What I saw what you did back then, was pretty amazing. I know things are hard for us all, my team and I went back to Mistral for some recuperation. Sun left to find Blake because she felt ashamed for what happened to Yang. It must feel worse being separated from your own team. And believe me, it gets worse to lose someone you cared for. Trust me, I may be not look like I did. But I felt that before, because I lost someone important to me a long time ago. When it's winter, the snow reminded me of you. How the breeze flows like your hair, your eyes glamour like the icy waters. When you fight, I can see you soar like the swan. When you sing, it brought such a gentle melody in the air. Like the moonlight hearing your call. The truth is, I just missed you. You became the first woman to have approach me with a smile. Keep that smile to fight the good fight. Things will get better when your team gets back together. Trust me, blood or not, family is about bonds that are shared. Like how Sun ,Scarlet and Sage have been brothers to me. Right now, Scarlet is kinda angry at Sun for leaving without telling us. As for Sage, mostly silent. They didn't take this very well. But I could understand what Sun is trying to do.
P.S.
If there's any chance you visit Mistral, I'll be happy to show you around for some time."
-Neptune.
Weiss is then blushing at his words he wrote to her. Like the blossoms falling from the wintery weather. Looking at the window. At the shattered moon. Her eyes closed in happiness, that someone have written to her. It have given her hope for the day she will be free from the patriarchal prison.
"Neptune." She thought. "Thank you." She then placed her lips on the letter as a sign of luck.
Ever since you wrote me this letter, it set me free. Actually, you have set me free. I know now that I cannot depend on Winter anymore.
Weiss thought back about that night she received the letter. She picked it up from her satchel and read it secretly without him knowing it on the ferry. She then hid it away. The letter may be a few years old, but it is still the treasure she has held. Sitting on the bench next to Neptune who is looking down on the floor. She scooted towards him and has her hand over his to keep him company. Much to his relief.
"Are you exciting to see her?" She asked.
"Well, I haven't seen her for months. She would basically check on my health every time I came home from Haven for summer vacations. What about you? What did you do when school was out?" Asked Neptune.
"Mostly at home. Back when I was an heiress, there was absolutely nothing but studies and tutoring 24/7." Weiss sighed. "Now that Whitely is the new heir to the Schnee Dust Company, I don't see the point of staying in the mansion." Now as a former heiress, Weiss is even ashamed at her own name since it was in ruins, no thanks to the man who fathered her and her siblings. "Still, I hope he does better than my father. Cause the last time he ever run the company, he got what he deserved, an orange jumpsuit." Weiss joked. Reminding her the time she read the headlines in the newspaper. Where the newspaper shows an image of him in an orange jumpsuit. And his mustache and hair got all messy having not been groomed for months after. Given a life sentence due to Winter being given the position as the new leader of the Atlas Military. And she wasn't going to let him out anytime soon.
"Seriously, that's hilarious!" Chuckled Neptune.
"I know, right?! I doubt Winter is going to let him off easy. Even if he is our father, he is beyond redemption." Weiss points out.
"That's insane coming from him." Neptune commented. They both laughed. "Are you sure about coming with me on this one?" He asked. Thinking of whether or not that Weiss is sure she wants to help him out of the situation she already put herself in.
"Of course, I do. I am not backing down on this one." Weiss assured him. Then she decides to change the subject. "Your parents are nice." She compliments. Making Neptune glanced at her and smiled. "They're the best. Dad can be kinda busy at times when Jupiter looks after us. But he's also an expert at amplifying weapons. As for Mom, straight but also lovable. She won multiple cases and a zero loss whether she's the prosecutor or the defender."
"A lawyer, huh? Yeah, she told me that. It was amazing of how hard she works." Weiss said. Looking back at the environment Neptune have lived in, it was all normal. Like many families, there could be arguments, but can be resolved later on. How parents could be supportive. How siblings do things together. She felt slightly jealous that she wishes it could've been this way if her family was never rich. Winter have told her some tales about their maternal grandfather before he went into retirement. A nobleman who works in honor of his own father when he left a small amount of his inheritance to create the Schnee Dust Company. She never met him, but was aspired to bring honor of his lineage. But after she was revoked from her inheritance, she decides to no longer bear the Schnee name, she will be just Weiss. But will still use her semblance in his honor.
Unbeknownst to them, there was a man hiding from the front row of the ship and took pictures of them both. Then they heard the click. "Did you hear that?" Asked Weiss.
"Yeah, I heard that too." Jolted Neptune.
"It sounded like a camera." Then the man was nearly caught but hid his face from behind. "Please tell me someone else is spying on us?"
"That's weird. Maybe we're just hearing things." Weiss shaken. "Or maybe there could be someone on the ship."
"We might have to keep an eye out. I have a bad feeling about this." Neptune points out. Looking at the mirror hanging on the ceiling of the ship where it shows the man still hidden without knowing that Neptune is glancing. "If we could just play it cool like nothing happen, that's when he or they'll let their guard down." He whispers. "We'll wait until the boat stops and we run for it and get lost." Weiss nods. Gripping his hand in nervousness. In theory, there could be anyone who heard the news and wanted them for their bounty. Or worse, assassination. But the general was never the type to put their head on the bounty. But rather to bring those alive. And Weiss knows that there is still heart that her sister would never be tempted to murder someone.
The ferry stops at Vale City. The kingdom where Beacon Academy was still underdevelopment after the students transferred to Shade Academy for catching up the semester. "Here it is. Vale." As the citizens are walking off the ship. Weiss and Neptune walked further and carefully listening to the footsteps the man is making. They cannot make a glance at him, or the worse can happen. They walked faster until they hid the alleyway and lost him at last. "He's gone." He sighed, much to their relief. Getting lost in the crowd means the man have gotten confused and went to search somewhere else.
Vale Hospital
Neptune and Weiss have made an appointment in an attempt to meet Ceres. With claims of a fever. Once the nurse have called them from the waiting room. They have entered the office. The door opened, to Neptune's surprise, it was a blue-haired and eyed woman. With a curly ponytail. A lab coat with a sweatshirt and brown skirt under. Reading glasses above her bangs. "Hello, I'm Dr. Ceres Vasilias. And I have been informed of..." The doctor was cut off when Neptune reveals himself.
"Sis, it's me." He interrupted.
"I beg your pardon, sir?" The doctor tilted in confusion. Until Neptune removed his hood and goggles. "Nep...tune?" She questioned.
"Yeah, it's me." The she overchecks him for any injuries. As the youngest of five siblings, Neptune was the one they could mostly be worried about. "Oh my gosh, are you okay?! Are you hurt?! Are you injured?! Did you have water on your ears and eyes again?! I swear you'll go deaf if this happens!" Neptune breaks away from him before she gets exhausted. "Hey, hey, hey! I'm fine. There's no need to freak out." He assured him, knowing his sister, she's always worried for his wellbeing after what happened with Jupiter.
"Oh. Sorry, it's been months, you have no idea how freaked I got when I got promoted." Sighed Ceres. She then walks over to the door. Looking in both ways before locking the door. "Anyway, you shouldn't be here. There are men looking for you." She said , worryingly. "I know, I just want to see how are you, Sis." Could she blame him for checking on his family. Normally, she would tend his injuries.
"Ever since Haven Academy fell, I wasn't sure if attending Shade is a good idea since there is a lot of rogues in the streets. But seeing you coming back alive, it was a relief." Ceres explains. She has been scared hearing him going to Shade. But then again, where else can he study with Beacon and Haven gone, and Atlas' borders being shut down. Shade has become the best option to fight for survival. She then turned to Weiss. "Wait a sec, let me guess. Former heiress of the Schnee Dust Company?" She guessed. And Weiss shamefully nods. But she straights her face up for an introduction.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, you are probably aware for who I am."
"I wouldn't mind. I never thought my little brother would bag you up." Teased Ceres.
"Seriously, you too?!" Neptune protested. And Weiss covered her face while feeling the heat.
"Oh well. By the way, don't tell me you went on a mission to find Jupiter, didn't you?" She asked, sternly. After telling him not to take the mission to have the police involve. But Neptune disobeyed that request and went on. But being a huntsmen, it's an instinct. At least what Ceres can understand. "Sorry, Ceres. I just wanted to be sure it was him."
"I get it, you're desperate. But do you have any idea what this have cost me?" Ceres stared at him in the eye. "There were policemen questioning me for your whereabouts."
"It's called instincts, I have a feeling that the police can't get their facts right if they still think he's dead." Neptune argued. Then again, the police have already given up the search again since the huntsmen were called to Poseidon Island to search for the Thunderbolts. Which upsets her to think they would reopen the case. "You're right, it's pointless to have them involve. You're lucky you're wearing a disguise. Still it would be a good idea to dye your hair and change your name. But I can give you some plastic surgery." She suggested. But Neptune wants none of it.
"And ruin my looks? No way." He shook his head.
"Fine. By the way, there were sightings of Jupiter and his team being made in the news." Ceres points out, which got her brother perked up to hear the name of their older brother. "I heard that he's somewhere in the Emerald Forest. The thing is, the Thunderbolts have been digging up. Looking for something. It has to be some kind of relic, perhaps." She theorizes.
"We'll check it out ourselves." Neptune then embraces his sister before parting ways. "It's great to see you again, Sis."
"Me too, bro. Me too. If anyone asked, I didn't see anything." Ceres told him, and Neptune nods. "Now, hurry before the security finds out." She ushered, prompting him and Weiss to exit the building.
Later on, they made a reservation for a hotel room for the night. The room has white walls for each side. Glass shower windows. Brown curtains with the soft texture. Separate beds with white sheets and pillows. Pretty much three-star level of a hotel. But enough to stay for a few days until they get what they came for. "At least this way, we can take a break." Weiss sighed.
"Pretty much. It's great to see that Ceres is doing well. We should be searching for Jupiter tomorrow. There's a good chance he could be there. Or another moon stone." Neptune plopped onto the bed close to the window. While Weiss slightly opens the curtain to see if there's any police or any militia force around. "Looks like nothing came around yet. We should be safe for tonight." Weiss said. Knowing that they cannot hide forever. Even with their scrolls destroyed, there are still chances that sightings will be linked. "Looks like being huntsmen wasn't easy for anyone."
"No doubt about it." Then his stomach growls, all the walking and traveling have gotten him empty. Struck with hunger. Weiss then notices. "Wow, I'll bet all this trouble have gotten us starving. Tell you what, I'll be getting us something to eat while you stay here." Weiss offers. Not wanting to risk him getting caught.
"Are you sure about this? I don't think it's safe for you to go out walking today." Neptune objects to the idea.
"I'll be fine. There's nothing to worry about. You need to keep in low profile for now." Neptune wanted to come along, but then again, he might be recognized. They don't have the scrolls to call each other to ensure each other's safety. But Neptune need s someone he can trust with his goals. He cannot call his team, it'll also cost them to be arrested for harboring a fugitive. For now, Weiss is the only person he can rely on.
"Okay, just be careful." He told her. And Weiss nods walking out of the room to grab some grub. After Weiss bought some appetizers from a restaurant, she then takes routes in the city to make sure she isn't followed. But it backfired when she heard footsteps in the alleyways. It grew louder. It was a sign that there is a stalker on the loose. She then makes a step ahead to levitate with her glyphs to the top of an apartment building. Running on the roof until the mysterious shadow threw roses at her as she deflects them. Pedals have been torn apart from the stems of black thorns.
"How delightful to see you again, mi belleza de nieve." His voice is deep with the accent. Weiss is stunned to hear a voice she never wants to hear for a while. Then man is dressed in a black jumpsuit, with a mask and hood covering his mouth. A red scarf tied to his waist containing a whip and a toledo sword. "There's no point hiding in that mask. I know who you are, Carlos Vega." She said furiously. He then chuckled uncovering that hood of his. "How wonderful that you recognized me. I believe your father would like to have a word with you. If you can come with me." He extended his hand towards her. But Weiss backs off in refusal. "But he's in jail. There's just no way."
"On the contrary, I helped him escape. Yes it was me, Specialist Carlos Vega. The supreme graduate student of Atlas Academy. Heir to the Vega Corporation."
"Nobody cares, Vega. And by the way, I want nothing to do with my father. And when my sister finds out you broke him out. She'll lock you up for good." Weiss paces around him and has her hand on the Myrtenaster in case he is ready to attack. Shoot, I should've warn her about him. I forgot about him for so long, I never want to remember him at all. She thought. She then felt pain in her shoulder. Causing her to look down and saw a rose pierced into her shoulder. "What the-?! She winced. her body feeling weak as the eyesight got blurry.
"Unfortunately, you are clearly unaware of what my semblance was. My rose is extremely, poisonous. Once a rose is pinned into your body, the poison will stream into your veins and you'll be weak. I call it the Death Amor." Described Carlos.
No, I have to fight back. Neptune is waiting for me. I cannot let Carlos him near him. Otherwise we're done for.
"Please understand that I am doing this, all in the name of admiration." Carlos said in a sweet tone. Disgusting Weiss.
"Admiration? I call it sickening." Weiss retorted. She then dashed at the heir to clash his sword. Pushing each other away. Carlos then throws ten roses for defense. But Weiss blocks them all while dodging them with her glyph.
Carlos has the upper hand swinging his whip catching Weiss in the air. Pulling her back down on the roof. But Weiss cuts his whip but another rose is thrown into her abdomen. "Ah!" She winced again. But she is still standing. "Nice try, I'm not going to give up that easily!" Carlos spun and sings his blade. Crossing blades against her. But Weiss smacks him with a handle. But he tumbled back. While Weiss tries to knock his sword off his hands. Lunging him and it was a success. "Give it up, Vega. You have no chances of winning...Dah!" Weiss stumbles back and saw another rose on her right arm. She tries to take them all off, but they were too strong. They are stuck. Weiss collapse to the ground, still trying to fight the poison.
The former heiress pushes herself to get up, but she fell back down. Staring at Carlos with a glare. "Too bad, mi belleza de nieve. It looks like I'll be taking you after all." He taunted. Weiss' vision got all foggy and then all goes black for a moment.

Jin - Joke’s on You
Pairing: Jin x f. Reader
Words: 2,905
Summary: You blame everything on Jungkook. Sure, the prank war started because Jin and you wanted to put the brat in his place, but it takes an unexpected turn neither of you expected.
Tumblr media
You laugh as you mix the red icing in the bowl. Your best friend leans against the counter with a satisfied smile on his face. You just received one of Jin’s famous puns. No matter what, they always make you laugh.
“How do you even come up with this stuff?”
“What can I say I’m just a genius.”
“Oho genius sure.”
“Speaking of genius.” Jin pics up a salt shaker next to him on the counter and gently shakes it as he smirks.
“And how does that make you a genius?”
Jin makes a show of pulling out a small bowl and spoon. You let him take a small scoop of icing that he dumps into the bowl along with a pile of salt. You grin at him and give him a thumbs up. He looks proud of himself too as he mixes the two ingredients together.
This all started because of Jeon Fucking Jungkook. The three of you are in the middle of a prank war because that man brat has the nerve to keep calling you the O word. The unspeakable word. The two of you took action by hiding some of Jungkook’s things around the house, like just one shoe and one glove. It drove him mad looking for it. Your’s and Jin’s snickering kinda gave it away so young man planned his revenge. He planted fake spiders around the men’s shared apartment, which led to lots of screaming and jumping on furniture. The screaming turned worse when Jungkook flung the spider at Jin.
After giving Taehyung some pocket money, he distracted Jungkook with enough time for the two of you to sneak into his room. There you changed the hot keys on his computer hoping it would frustrate him as Jin held Jungkook’s cell phone and filled his storage with many attractive photos. These actions resulted in you coming home to your apartment filled with pictures of Nicholas Cage. You still find some to this day. Jin came home to a strategically placed cut out of Nicholas Cage. It surprised him so bad everyone ran to his at his scream to check up on him. Yoongi even brought a knife.
Things like this have been going on for the last week. And frankly all your other friends who share a living space with Jin and Jungkook are getting tired of it. But no one is going to stop until the other party forfeits. Which doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen anytime soon. Especially since he keeps calling you both-
“Hey Old Couple, when are the cookies ready?”
Your hand tightens on the spatula as you grind your teeth. For starters, the two of you weren’t that old. The both of you are just a few years older than the brat. If he considers you both so much older, he should show some respect. Secondly, you weren’t a couple despite how nice that sounded to your ears. You’ve known the man for what seems like forever and– oh no he doesn’t!
A resounding slap echoes slightly in the kitchen followed by a yell. You’re glad Jungkook’s hand tried to steal some of your precious icing. It broke your train of thought and gave you a reason to hit him. The young man examines his hand and licks the small amount of icing the spatula left on him before winking at you. Another slap rings out. Jungkook grimaces as he rubs the back of his head.
“Yah! Don’t come in here making demands and stealing things. Out, out!” Jin waves his own spatula around and periodically pokes Jungkook with it until he makes his way out of the kitchen. You examine Jin as he continues to wave his spatula, all the while complaining about the nerve the youngest has to call the two of you old and to boss you around. He mentions nothing about being labeled a couple. Does it even matter to him?
Jin and you grew up together and are practically glued to the hip since diapers. You survived the awkward teenage years, late study nights, and the shitshow that is adulting together, well that last one is still in question. Your moms always tease the two of you about being in a relationship, and your pretty sure they already have a wedding planned out. However, all of that made you uncomfortable growing up. The both of you were upset that boys and girls couldn’t be just friends. Now though you wished the opposite.
“You OK, or are you just dazzled by my face that much?”
You jump slightly, almost spilling the bowl of icing. You fumble with it a second before you start mixing again. “Yep, sorry just lost in thought.”
His gaze is questioning as it lingers on you. You nervously look away. Jin can read you like a book and you hope he doesn’t know about your feelings. You’ve been awkward lately by avoiding his touch, not giving as nearly as much eye contact, and always nervously biting your lip because the butterflies are too much. You were hoping it would just be a simple phase that would quickly pass but you feel yourself falling deeper at the compassion he has always shows you and even when he tells you an awful pun.
The oven dings signaling the cookies being done and his gaze finally leaves you. Jin pulls the cookies out of the oven. For a minute you are both silent as you wait for the cookies to cool.
“Have I ever told you the one about the alpaca?”
You smile at his efforts of trying to make you more comfortable again. “Hit me with your best shot.”
The two of you fall into comfortable conversation as the cookies cool. Once they do so you start icing them while making sure to keep one separate for a special someone. The two of you make a plate for each of your friends and take them to the living room. There most of your friends are sprawled out watching a movie. Oos and Aaahs fill the room as they scramble for their plates. You and Jin give a high five as Jungkook sputters on his cookie that he inhales.
“What the hell guys!”
Everyone stops and stares at the body standing in the hallway. The voice that yelled was not Jungkook but an angry Yoongi. A very pink haired Yoongi.
“We match!” Jimin points and yells. His eyes turn into crescents as he giggles. He collapses into himself and falls out of the chair. Taehyung barely catches his friend’s cookies as the young pink haired man is a giggling mess on the floor.
Your eyes are as wide as saucers as you stare at the pink hair on the glowering man. It would be unbelievably cute if Yoongi wasn’t glaring daggers at you, Jin, and Jungkook.
“It looks very nice- “Hoseok gets cut off as Yoongi holds up a finger.
“Not. Another. Word. Except that is for someone to tell me who fucking did this.”
Ok this was not how this was supposed to go. You were not supposed to meet your untimely end because of these pranks. Yes, it was you who waited for everyone to leave the apartment and sneak in with the extra key Jin gave you. It was you who took some of Jimin’s pink dye and funneled it into Jungkook’s shampoo. You were sure you put it in the right bathroom. Then why the hell is Yoongi’s hair pink!?
You pale as Jungkook smirks at you. “I saw Y/N going to your bathroom earlier Hyung, it must have been her.” Oh if this is how he wants to play then you’ll play.
“You couldn’t have seen me since I did it earlier today while no one was here, and I put it in your shampoo Jungkook.”
Jin nods and adds, “Yeah Jungkook. Then explain then how it got into Yoongi’s shampoo if she put it in yours.”
“So, let me get this straight.” Yoongi intervenes. “It’s all three of your faults then.”
“They pranked me first!”
“You switched the dye!”
“Yah how could you think that!”
Yoongi ignores all of your outbursts as he stares coldly at the three of you.
“Ok this has been all well and lovely but I think it’s time to go now!” Jin grabs your hand and darts for the door before you know what’s happening. You stumble behind him as you make your escape. You barely hear Jungkook’s startled pleas, sounds of a scuffle, and the mixture of laughter and giggling as the two of you run down the hall.
The two of you continue running to your nearby apartment. By the time you get there you’re both panting.
“Is it…do you think it’s safe?”
“Yeah…for now. He’s probably too busy murdering Jungkook.” Jin throws a cautionary look over his shoulder anyways just in case.
“And too lazy to follow us.”
“Yes, that too. Unfortunately, he’s more the type to plan his revenge and drag it out.” He brings a hand up to his head as he sighs. “Ah, I’m too handsome to die.”
You go to pat his arm and that is when you realize his hand is still holding yours. You quickly pull your hand away and angle yourself so he doesn’t see your burning face as you pull out your keys. “Um…do you want to come in? You can stay if you want till it’s safe…um safer?”
He laughs lightly, “Thanks. We’re in this together right. I can stay here forever?”
Opening the door, you shake your head. “At least until Yoongi doesn’t completely murder us.”
“Yep because slightly murdered is a lot better.” He steps in behind you and the two of you slip off your shoes. “Hey since I’m here let’s finish our tournament. You game?” He can’t help but laugh. You snicker slightly and give him an eye roll.
“Set up the game loser and I’ll make some popcorn. I’m hungry and we didn’t even get to eat any of the cookies.”
You walk into the kitchen, pull out the popcorn, and start heating it in the microwave. The ding of the game system starting up fills the small apartment. When the popcorn starts doing its thing you feel your phone vibrate. Pulling it out you instantly freeze when seeing the sender. Yoongi’s name displays threateningly across your screen. Ever so slowly you open the message.
‘The pranking stops now. If you do one thing for me, I’ll maybe spare you.’
Hesitantly you type back, ‘and what would that be oh great genius who I love more than anything.’
Your phone dings back quickly. ‘Flattery won’t buy you anything. And we know that’s not true. We all know you love Seokjin so tell him your feelings. Or else.’
Ok so its certain death vs tell your best friend that you have strong secret feelings for him. You think you may be leaning towards death.
“Uggh! What is that smell!?” Jin rushes into the kitchen and rips open the microwave door. Smoke blows out and you spot a rather black bag of popcorn that smells pretty disgusting now that you notice.
Hurriedly you turn on a fan and try to wave some of the smoke away. “I am so sorry! I got distracted.”
Jin reaches into the microwave and carefully pulls out the bag. There is no salvaging it. “Must have been some distraction.” The popcorn goes into the trashcan with a thunk, and he gives you a pointed look. He knows how much you detest burnt popcorn. You’ll complain about the smell for the rest of the day.
Ok. This is it do or die.
“Um…its nothing really.”
Dying it is then.
“Bullshit. You’ve been acting weird lately, and don’t deny it.” He adds on as your about to open your mouth. His gaze then moves to your phone you left on the counter in your haste to turn on the fan. Crap.
The both of you dive for the phone at the same time. With his longer limbs he makes it there just before you do. You scramble with him to try to reach it but he holds it barely outside your reach.
“Give it back!”
“Not a chance!”
His fingers rapidly start typing in your passcode. Your breathing increases as you panic.
“I got a text from Yoongi!”
He stops right before hitting the last digit. “Oh?”
You’re silent and his finger starts slowly moving closer to screen.
“He said the pranks have to stop!”
“And?”
You bite your lip as you look down at the ground. Nails bite into your palm as you make tight fists with your hands. Why does this have to be so difficult.
“Hey, its ok!” Jin puts the phone down and grabs your shoulders with both hands. His thumbs start rubbing small distracting circles. Surprised at the action you glance up at him and you let out your breath. Quickly you find that you can’t hold his gaze, something about it too tender and soft, so you turn your head quickly away again. Almost immediately a large hand leaves your shoulder and is placed on your cheek. It guides you to look back into Jin’s eyes. “I’m just worried about you.”
You lean into his hand slightly, close your eyes, and take a deep breath. You decide you can’t keep worrying him like this. It wasn’t fair to him and it definitely wasn’t fair to yourself. You felt like you couldn’t completely be yourself and you decided you no longer wanted to feel like a lie. Plus, you didn’t survive so much together for your friendship to end here or so you hoped. You open your eyes and do your best to look Jin in the eye.
“Errr so OK he gave me an ultimatum you could say. Either you know the certain death or um I tell you something.”
“You know you can tell me anything right?”
You nod. “Yes. Its just…hard. Sorry I’m trying.” Again, you can’t look him in the eye anymore. “You see the thing is…I um…for awhile now…” In the smallest voice you can muster, you manage to say,” …I like you…a lot.”
You feel Jin’s hold stiffen for a moment before the hand on your cheek moves to your chin and your eyes meets his once again. He’s looking at you in a way you’ve never seen before. His eyes are shining and he’s wearing a grin as he chuckles. Honestly, he has never looked as handsome as he does now. His breath hits your face as he chuckles.
“I got a text from Yoongi too.”
“…You did?”
His thumb traces over your lips as his eyes drift down. A small gasp leaves your lips and his eyes meet yours again.
“I like you too Y/N, a lot.”
The next thing you know there is a pair of soft lips touching your own. When you press back you can feel the smile on his lips. The hand on your shoulder slides down your arm until it reaches your hip and drags you closer. Your hands come up and grip Jin’s shirt as you fall into the kiss.
You only pull away to take a breath of air. Jin’s forehead comes to rest again your own. “Thank you for telling me.”
You huff, “You could have easily told me first.”
He kisses your forehead. “I know. Sorry for taking so long, but I’ll make it up to you.” His lips lightly graze yours again. “I promise.”
“I look forward to it. Right now though I hate to ruin the moment, but I really can’t stand the smell in here.”
“What this isn’t romantic enough for you?” Jin stuffs your face into his chest and his arms wrap around your head. “Here, try to smell only me.”
The sounds of his laughter fill the room along with your screams of protest.
When you and Jin walk back to his apartment you do so hand in hand. Cautiously you open the door and peer inside. No one is there ready to murder you as you walk through the door so that’s a good sign. A head peeks around the corner and your relieved to see its just Taehyung.
He stares openly at your hands before sending a wink your way. “I thought you’d love birds would be gone longer.”
You groan as Jin answers, “We would but someone’s house smells like burnt popcorn.”
“Huh.” Taehyung points behind him into the living room. “Also, you may want to see this.”
He disappears as the two of you take your shoes off. Curiously you round the corner and are surprised at what you see. There before you is still a pink haired Yoongi but instead of being murderous he’s wearing his gummy smile and laughing with Jimin. The two are taking selfies and being super adorable with their matching pink hair. Jungkook spots you from where he’s sitting and grins.
“What’s going on?”
Yoongi doesn’t even bother looking at you. “You know I think pink is a nice look.”
“Eh?” Both you and Jin are equally confused. Jungkook’s grin only gets larger.
“I figured out you messed with my shampoo when I got home, and asked hyung if he’d help me out. He wanted to have fun too.”
“Got you!” Yoongi yells out as him and Jimin take another selfie.
“What!?”

Better—Sanvers
Jamie is standing by the gate of her school, waiting for Maggie to come pick her up when Cheryl walks up to her with red eyes.
"Cheryl? I thought you went home already!" Jamie asks, worried and confused.
"Mom can't come till six..." Cheryl replied, bowing her head.
"Again? It's the third time this week!" Jamie says with disbelief. Cheryl's mom is a business woman who have high tendency to prioritize work before her own daughter.
"I know... I tired to ask if she will let me go home on my own but she hung up too soon. She would be mad if I call again..." Cheryl's voice is quivering by now.
"Oh Cher... Come here" Jaime opens her arms to hug her best friend.
The two eighth graders hug for awhile and break apart when Maggie pulls up the SUV in from of them.
"Hey girls" Maggie greets, rolling down the window.
"Mama!"
"Hi Mrs. Danvers-Sawyer"
"Oh Cheryl, how many times do we have to tell you that you can call us by our first names?" Maggie feels her heart ache for her daughter's best friend. This girl is always so careful and polite, unlike the carefree child she should be at this age.
Cheryl doesn't say anything but bows her head and shifts nervously on her feet.
"Mama! Can Cheryl come home with us? Her mom won't be here to pick her up until six" Jaime asks, looking at Maggie with the signature Danvers puppy eyes which reminds Maggie too much of her wife and sister-in-law.
Maggie feels anger surges through her body, this is not the first time Cheryl got ditched by her own mother. She took a deep breath before replying Jamie.
"That's sounds like a great plan! But I will have to inform Cheryl's mom first okay? Why don't you two hop in first and we can go for ice cream?"
"Thank you for offering but it's fine for me to wait at the school, Mrs— sorry— I mean Maggie. I can get some homework done and wait in the library. I just came to talk to Jamie because I saw her still here. I don't want to bother you" Cheryl rambles nervously. She doesn't want to be a burden to her best friend's family.
"Oh come on Cher! You are my best friend and you will never be a bother to me!" Jamie catches Cheryl's hands and says to her in the most serious tone the 13-year-old can manage.
"Jamie's right, Cheryl. I also wouldn't suggest this if it's not fine with me"
"Okay then. Thank you" Cheryl blushes as she climbs into the SUV backseat following Jamie.
Ten minutes later, Maggie settles the two girls down with their ice cream on a bench in the park and she walks away a little to call Cheryl's mom.
"Hello Mrs. Radisson, I'm Maggie Danvers-Sawyer."
"Do I know you?" The woman on the other side of the phone replies coldly.
"I'm Jamie, your daughter's best friend's mother" Maggie tries her best to keep her voice even and polite.
"And what's the matter of you calling?"
"Your daughter is with me and Jamie right now and I will take both girls back to my house until you are free to pick Cheryl up." Maggie says firmly, not even requesting for Mrs. Radisson's consent now.
"Good. Keep her for dinner so I can have more time to work. If that's all, please excuse me, I have more pressing issues to tend to" With this, Mrs. Radisson hangs up on Maggie.
Maggie sighs angrily and she stands there for a while calming herself down before turning back to the two girls.
"Okay girls, ready to head home?"
The two girls are doing homework in Jamie's room while Maggie prepares dinner. Giggles can be heard from time to time, telling Maggie that the girls are enjoying themselves.
Alex comes home when dinner's almost ready.
"Hey babe" She greets Maggie and steps behind her wife in front of the stove.
"Hey love" Maggie melts into Alex when she wraps her arms around her waist.
"Did I forgot Jamie's gonna have friends over tonight?" Alex asks confusingly when she hears another round of giggles and laughter coming out from Jamie's room.
"No. We bring Cheryl back with us cause her mom decided work is more important than her own child, again" Maggie rolls her eyes with the comment, feeling Alex tighten her arms around her.
"Poor Cheryl... I'm gonna go wash up and change then summon the girls for dinner okay?" Alex sighs, kissing Maggie neck softly.
"Hmm Love you" Maggie mutters in response. She feels so lucky that she has the such a loving wife.
"Knock knock" Alex announces her presence and pokes her head into Jamie's room.
"Hi mommy!" Jamie gets up to hug her mother tight.
"Hey babygirl, missed you"
"Miss you too mommy"
Cheryl stands by Jamie's desk and plays with her hands nervously. She suddenly feels like she's out of place. And she's ashamed of herself envying her best friend. She is definitely not jealous, but she just longs for this kind of warm relationship with her mother so much.
Alex's attention turns to Cheryl when she feels a shift in the rooms atmosphere. Releasing her daughter, she looks at the other eighth grader in the room and her heart breaks.
"Hello Cheryl" Alex greets softly, prompting the girl to look up with glassy eyes.
"Hi Mrs.-- sorry, Alex" Cheryl catches herself, remembering Maggie's word earlier.
"Hey, everything's okay?" Alex asks with a warm and caring tone, crouching down to meet Cheryl's eyes.
Cheryl nods in response, not sure if she can talk without crying.
"Come on then, dinner's ready, so go wash your hands. I'll meet you girls down there" Alex decides to drop the topic for now, careful not to push the little girl too much. She's gonna talk to Maggie about their approach. Alex is sure Maggie wants to help Cheryl too.
Dinner went well, happy and harmonic. The two girls taking turns talking about school, finishing each other's sentences. Maggie and Alex commenting lovingly from time to time and reminding the exciting girls to eat.
"Go watch TV you two, Maggie and I will come join you once we load the dishwasher" Alex says when dinner's done.
"I can help" Cheryl suggested quietly.
"Thank you for offering sweetheart but we are fine, go relax with Jamie" Maggie place a gentle hand on Cheryl's shoulder, letting her know it's totally okay.
"And it's not that much work, we just need to put them in. That's all. How about you go pick a movie for later?" Alex supplies, hoping to help reassure her daughter's best friend.
"Okay, if you insist" Cheryl bows her head, compromising with the two mothers of her best friend who has already settled down on the sofa.
Maggie and Alex lingers at the dinning table until they are sure the girl settling down beside their daughter before turning to their dish-washing duties.
"Poor girl, so polite and tense all the time" Alex sighs, handing Maggie the dishes.
"I know, she looked so sad when I saw her at the school" Maggie takes the dishes and load them into the dishwasher after running them under the water.
"She looked at me and Jamie hugging just now like that's something she will never have" Alex grabs a wash cloth and turn to clean the table.
"I just wish she is our daughter too so we can give her all the love she deserves" Maggie sighs, bending down to load the dishes into the washer.
"Well, we can have J invites her over more" Alex walks to the sink and rinses off the cloth.
"Of course, and maybe we can get her open up a little bit tonight? Just to let her release the pent up emotions" Maggie shuts the washer door and starting the machine, leaning against it.
"Sounds good to me, she needs some gentle push" Alex dries her hand and walks to stand in front of Maggie, who wraps her arms around her instantly.
"I love you" Maggie leans in to capture her wife's lips, whispering into the kiss.
"Moms! Quit kissing and come!" Jamie yells from the living room, starling the two adults apart.
“Coming!” Maggie and Alex reply together, shaking their head fondly at their daughter’s antic.
“What are we watching?” Maggie asks once she settled between Jamie and Alex.
“Cheryl chose Moana!” Jamie replies excitedly, she loves the movie too.
“Oh great choice!” Alex says. Actually, under the influence of Kara, the whole Danvers-Sawyer family is huge fan of Disney productions.
“Um... thank you for having me for dinner.” Cheryl starts timidly, “Are you sure I’m not intruding? I can call mom and ask if she can come pick me up”
Alex and Maggie share a look, deciding it’s time to give that gentle push.
Maggie gets up from her spot and sits down on the floor in front of Cheryl. Alex also moves to the other side of the couch so she is next to the girl now.
“Cheryl, we want you to listen to us very carefully okay?” Maggie starts carefully.
Despite the gentle tone Maggie’s using, Cheryl’s whole body tenses up.
“Relax kiddo, you’re not in any trouble, not at all. You got it?” Alex supplies immediately, soothing away the 13-year-old’s worry.
Cheryl nods, not sure what's going on.
"Cheryl, we just want you to know you are totally welcomed here, anytime. You will never ever be intruding” Maggie says, placing a gentle hand on Cheryl’s knee.
“And you can come to us whenever and for whatever reasons” Alex adds.
Cheryl instantly tears up at the kind words of her best friend’s mothers. Her own mother is nothing like them. She is always cold, demanding for efficiency and manners. Lips quivering, she nods slowly.
“Oh Cheryl, it’s okay” Jamie moves closer to her best friend and pulls her in for a hug.
Being held tight by her best friend, Cheryl can’t hold it anymore. She breaks down in tears and sobs hard, whole body shaking.
Jamie gets caught off guard by Cheryl's sudden outburst, she looks up to Alex and Maggie for help.
“It’s okay sweetheart, you’re safe here” Maggie comforts the girl softly, rubbing circles on her knee.
“Yes sweetie, just let it all out. We got you” Alex supplies, hugging Cheryl from the side, sandwiching the girl with Jamie.
When Cheryl calms down from all the crying, she buries her face in Jamie’s neck, feeling embarrassed. She doesn’t even notice the pair of mothers leaving the couch.
Moments later, Maggie comes back into the living room first, with a blanket in hand. She drapes it over Cheryl’s shoulder and watches her reaction closely.
Cheryl’s eyes widen when the warm sensation washes over her body, calming her down even more.
“All it takes is putting the blanket into the dryer for five minutes” Jamie explains knowingly, smiling at Cheryl’s reaction.
“And this will give it a bonus” Alex emerges from the kitchen, holding a steaming cup of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows floating on top.
Taking the mug from Alex, Cheryl breaths in the sweet-smelling steam, closing her eyes to collect herself.
“Thank you” she says quietly when she opens her eyes again, smiling sweetly. She’s got a best friend with the best moms. Today might just as well be the best day in her life.
The Danvers-Sawyer household just knows the way to make things better.

Juliette: Juliette was in the bathroom for a moment after all the drama and texted Jonah after scrolling through twitter.
Juliette: hey babe, if you're in a good place. check twitter.
Then Chanel came out of the bathroom stall. Juliette just looked at her coldly through the mirror. Her dress was hella stained.
Jonah: Jonah was sitting down at a table when he got a text from Juliette. He was a little hesitant to check twitter, but he did anyway. He furrowed his brows as he saw the sub tweets going back and forth between Jesse and Devyn. He hated being in this position, he didn't even know what to do.
Jonah: thanks... idek what to do at this point
Chanel: Chanel opened the bathroom stall and wiped her eyes after crying. She looked up to see Juliette, her face softened. She walked up to the counter and looked at her dress, letting out a sigh as she saw how ugly it looked now
Juliette: Juliette was fully aware of the fact that she had a stain stick in her bag, but she withheld. She looked the other girl up and down and smiled at her, "Good luck with that" she said with a little wave and a nose scrunch as she left the bathroom.
Juliette: coming!!!
The girl scurried over to Jonah in the seating area. "Let's go outside" she said pulling him into the hallgay. "Okay, do all the talking. This is your moment, say whatever you need and I am 100% on your side" said the girl before she shut up.
Chanel: Chanel had absolutely no energy to snap on Juliette, and even if she did have the energy, she probably couldn't bring herself to do it. She felt so ashamed every time she was around Juliette, even though her mom was the problem. She bit down on her bottom lip as the girl spoke and watched her leave the bathroom, crying a lil afterwards. Boo hoo.
Jonah: Jonah went into the hallgay with Juliette and let out a deep sigh, ready to pop off a bit. "I just don't know what I'm supposed to do! She told me she felt nothing for Jesse anymore so why does she always have to bring him up like she's super jealous? Do you know they kissed? Like last week. I haven't even talked to Jesse about it cause I feel bad. Who even tries to get at their brother's ex? God this is all so messed up. If they want to be together, why don't they? Why am I putting myself through this? Oh I know why. Cause I really like her and I'm actually really happy when I'm around her, but I'm also super stressed about the whole situation so... ugh!" he rambled on as he paced back and forth
Juliette: "They kissed??!?!" said Juliette covering her mouth to shut herself up. She felt so bad for Jonah, "okay, breathe in breathe out. Just keep doing that" said the girl reviewing the tweets. "This is royally fricked up though" Juliette stated, getting kind of heated about it all. "Just keep venting, let it all out" the girl suggested, not sure what to do or say.
Jonah: "They kissed! But it seemed like Jesse was the one to make a move on her? I don't get it. Oh god, I don't even know if Olivia knows. She doesn't deserve all of this." Jonah said before taking a deep breath in and out. "It's just... she seriously makes me feel so happy. I feel so comfortable around her, it's like all my worries wash away when I'm talking to her, and I don't know if she feels the same way." he shook his head. "Like if she still likes Jesse, that's fine. It'll hurt but I can't be mad at how she feels. But if she does like him, I wish she would just tell me so I can move on."
Juliette: Juliette was at a loss for words and just pulled him in for a hug, "I'm so sorry darling" she said squeezing him. "I have your back" she said quietly, "whatever happens". There was nothing to do for him. Nothing to be said, this all fell on Devyn and Jesse.
Jonah: Jonah hugged Juliette tightly, he was really grateful to have a friend like Juliette. They just understood each other. "Thanks." he pulled away with a sad smile on his face. "I gotta talk to him about it. It just sucks cause our last conversation wasn't great. I mean it wasn't terrible, but it just felt different. I miss him."
Juliette: "Go find him, he's clearly going through it online" said Juliette patting his shoulder. "He's your brother, you two love each other. Go to him, ask for help. Figure this out" she replied, doing her best to be encouraging.
Jonah: "Yeah... Yeah I will. I'll text you and tell you how it went." Jonah gave Juliette one last hug before going to find Jesse. "Thanks by the way."
Juliette: "Anytime, and yes please keep me in the loop. Love you" said Juliette as he left.

Chapter 9; The Mission of World Peace
Here is where not only fluff happens but another part of the AOU movie happens, so warning here arr mentions of Panic attacks (towards the end), fluffiness, fighting, and arm decaptitation (you’ll see why) other than that not really anything else. Enjoy my lovelies :) The picture below is what you will be wearing as Bad Wolf for this series. The picture does NOT belong to me, it belongs to the company that made the anime Wolfs rain (which is AWESOME U GUYS SHOULD CHECK IT OUT FOR ANY ANIME FANS OUT THERE)
Tumblr media
____________________________________________________
Thanks to the twins for finding me some clothes to wear I looked at myself in the mirror and found myself having the physical appearance of a human but to me I still looked like a wolf in human’s clothing. I now wore a long black coat that came down to my mid-thighs and the bottom fit more like a skirt than a one piece coat.
I had on long black stockings that went up past my knees same with my new black boots with a 1-2inch heel to them.  I wore a long red scarf that was wrapped around my neck to cover up the scarring around my neck from the injections my collar gave me shocking me repeatedly through 8 years of my life. The collar on my coat almost resembled the collar you would see in an old-school vampire movie but it wasn’t as high just about my lower jawline.  I even styled my hair different so that some strands would fall around my face to give me a more menacing look so that no one could judge me just because I was a child.
Just before Ultron decided to move us out to begin the plan of us saving the world and making it better, my heart was crying out that first there was something personal I just had to do first.  I left the room and found Ultron working on something and said to him.
“Ultron”.  He turned to me and said.
“(Y/n) what is it?”
“Before we begin, I only ask that we make one stop first, it’s uhh—it’s personal to me”.
“You wish to see your home and give your tribe a proper burial”. I looked at him surprised.
“How did you know that’s what I wanted?”
“My dear She-wolf. I know that even wolves mourn for the loss of their pack members. And knowing how young you were when you lost your tribe you wish they could have a proper burial, it will give you closure and allow you to move on. For you are the last of the Aniwaya tribe”. I turned away from him as tears formed in my eyes.  I felt his hand wipe away a tear and I faced him and he continued, “We’ll leave for your homeland immediately, but at sunrise we head to begin our mission”. He walked away probably to tell Pietro and Wanda.
“Thank you, Ultron” I stated my tone somewhere between gratitude and sorrow.  Next thing I know me, Ultron and the twins are flying on a jet from Sokovia to my reservation home back in Oklahoma.
When we got there, the place was just a desolated wasteland.  Apparently the government didn’t bring in any new Cherokee Indian tribes in since this spot was specifically for the Aniwaya tribe and with this being a reserve they couldn’t just destroy it without having a huge political debate on it.
youtube
As I walked through the spot that was once my home, I heard the screaming, the gunshots, the crying, everything from that night replay in my mind like it was yesterday.
Using my super sense of smell, I was able to dig within the ground to find the human bones of my tribe, even the bones of whom I assumed to be my parents. The spot where my dad was probably killed after defending me and then I managed to find my mom’s remains right where I lost her.  I gathered all the bones together as well as some wood for a fire.
Once the fire was up, I tossed all the bones into the fire and raised my hands in the air as the wind blew the embers of my tribe up into the night sky.  I recited the funeral prayer in the original Cherokee language as tears fell down my face. Finally I threw back my head and howled mournfully.
Ultron just stood there watching me with no emotion while the twins however looked at me with sadness and sorrow as the sounds of my mournful howl broke their hearts.  Wanda was the one most affected because she could truly feel my pain thanks to her powers.
After the burial, I just walked away deep into the woods and just wanting to be left alone for a while.  I sat on top of a boulder and just looked down at my feet soullessly.
I was broken.  Even though my family and tribe can finally be at peace with a proper burial, my heart still ached with such agony.  I was the last one of my tribe, Little Grey died 8 years ago in the lab where I was kept which I still have no idea where it was.  I had no one. I was all alone in this world now.
No family, no friends, not even a place to belong. Sure the twins took me in but I’m not their family.  At least they still have each other, the only members of their family left is each other and they’ve always had each other ever since they lost their parents at 10 years old.  I however am not so fortunate like them.
I am alone. A lone wolf in this cold, cruel world.
“I thought I made myself clear that I wanted to be alone” I stated brokenly.  I could hear the twins from behind a few trees behind me and I heard them coming up towards me.
“Ve didn’t vant you to be” said Wanda.
They sat on either side of me and I felt Wanda lean herself against my right side with her head on top of mine.
“You okay (y/n)?” asked Pietro softly.
“I have no one else in this world”.
“Zhat is not true—”
“No it is Pietro! You guys are lucky to still have each other. I lost—everyone! Even an animal whom I considered to be my brother!” I snapped as I turned towards him.  I laughed coldly as I harshly wiped away my tears.  “God I’m—I’m pathetic. Weeping like this when I didn’t even hesitate to eat people”.
“But zhat wasn’t you (y/n). Bad Wolf did all zhose things. You are still a kid finally having the chance to mourn over her family. And it’s natural to mourn. It’s not pathetic or even weakness to cry”. Wanda said as she tucked away some strands of my hair away from my face.
“And if you think zhat for one second you’re alone on this, your wrong,” Pietro added.  I turned back to him to see him reach in his pocket and pull out a beautifully hand-carved wooden wolf totem necklace attached to a braided string. “When me and Wanda were trying to find you after the Avengers stormed the base, we found this Native American tent and saw all kinds of drawings, dream catchers, totem necklaces, everything. And when I found this I instantly thought of you so I—”
“Stole it” Wanda stated firmly.
“Stole it. Took it as a gift, same thing. The point is, I was waiting for zhe right time to give it to you, I guess now’s a good a time as any. I think that’s how it goes”. I smiled at him and I lowered my head down and I felt him place the necklace around my neck and I raised my head back up and held the totem in my hand and admired it.
“Thank you, Pietro”.
“Anytime, just know that you are no longer alone in this world, you don’t have to be the Lone Wolf anymore. Wanda and I have always protected you ever since we met you, and we talked it over one night and—”
“We want you to be a part of our family, our pack”. Wanda finished her twin brother’s sentence.  My eyes widened softly as I looked at them.
“R—really? You both, want to adopt me?”
“We already have in our perspective, the question is do you wish the same?” Wanda stated.  I let out the biggest smile I could and immediately hugged them and they hugged me back.
“Thank you, brother and sister”.
“You’re welcome, sister”. Pietro said.
“I finally have the little sister I’ve always wanted” said Wanda happily as she kissed the crown of my head.
After we separated from our sibling group Pietro then asked me.
“Now that wolf you said you treated like a brother, what was his name again?”
“Little Grey”.
“That’s cute. What was he like?” asked Wanda.  I then turned to Pietro then back at Wanda and said
“Believe it or not Wanda, he was in a lot of ways like your Pietro”.
“Really? I bet he was tall, dark fur, and handsome and quite good with the lady wolves, no?” Pietro bragged as he brushed his hand through his hair.
“Ehhh…. More like he was the goofball and tried to flirt with the ladies but ended up being chased out by the Alpha males, and he was always a showoff claiming to be the fastest wolf of the pack”. Wanda bursted out laughing while Pietro just looked at me dumb folded. As Wanda and I laughed, I was suddenly pinned to the ground faster than I could blink with Pietro hovering over me.
“Now that hurt (y/n). You dare insult your new big brother like that? I’ll give you a chance to apologize or suffer punishment”.
“Hey Wanda wanted to know what he was like and I was giving an honest answer”.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk. That’s not what I wanted to hear (y/n). Now I’m afraid you’ll have to suffer the punishment”.
“Fine, do your worst Maximoff, I’ve been through it all”.
“Alright but remember, you asked for it”. Suddenly his hands were on my stomach tickling me.I shrieked and tried to squirm away from him as I laughed and cried out begging for him to stop.“You know not all punishment deserves pain or fear. I’ve learned that even the simplest things can bring out the best torture of all, especially when it brings people laughing”.
“Not—funny…. Pietro! No stop it!”
“Hmmm, I might stop, if you apologize for saying those mean things to me”. He briefly stopped allowing me to catch my breath so that I could apologize to him.
“But I can’t apologize for something that I true, right?”
“Wrong answer” Pietro then tickled me around my sides and ribs making me howl with laughter.
“Okay! Hahahahah Okahehehehy! I’m sorrheheheyy! Just stohahahap!” Finally he stopped leaving me panting helplessly on the ground. I looked up at Wanda and told her. “You couldn’t have helped me out?”
“I would rather not get involved”.
“Yeah, back when we were kids, I used to do tickle her all the time” Pietro stated.
“And I never once enjoyed it!” She snarled as her eyes briefly went red then faded back to her normal eye color.
“Aww now Wanda it wasn’t always used for punishment or torture. Remember back at the orphanage? I would do it whenever you were sad or scared”.
“Even though it made me feel better, I never once—Oh no, no, no, no, no Pietro!”
“What? What’s the matter sister?”
“I read your mind, you are not. Tickling me”.
“Now why would I do that? I’m simply walking towards you. No reason to panic right?” Suddenly Pietro used his speed to tackle Wanda but she put up a force field around herself knocking Pietro on his butt. Wanda smirked softly as Pietro groaned in pain.
“Hey, no force fields!”
“You started it!” Wanda shouted back.  I then wanted to get in on the action so I playfully tackled Pietro right to the ground as the two of us playfully wrestled with each other.  While Wanda tried to sneak away, Pietro gripped her arm and pulled her down onto the ground and playfully pushed me off and pinned his younger twin down and proceeded to tickle her.
I would then save Wanda by pinning Pietro and Wanda would tickle him.  Soon the three of us just rolled around playfully wrestling each other with no powers or mutation, just three siblings playfully wrestling and tickling one another.
After what felt like forever, we all just lay sprawled out along the ground. I was in the middle, Wanda to my right and Pietro to my left.  Wanda’s arm wrapped around my waist, my head laying on Pietro’s chest listening to his heartbeat and his head leaning against mine.
“Hey Pietro?” I asked after a long moment of silence of the three of us looking up at the millions of stars in the sky.
“Hmm?”
“Why did you want to know Grey’s name again?”
“Vell, I was thinking,” he sat up by his arms which made me lean up as well as Wanda while Pietro continued, “now that we’re a family. I was thinking, maybe we could have our own cute little Indian names like Little Grey and all those other names they do on the TV”. I rolled my eyes and said.
“Pietro, I was only 6 when I called him that I didn’t know what else to name him. Plus not every Native American is called things like ‘Little Frog’ or ‘Flying Eagle’ and all those other names, those are just stereotypical names Hollywood comes up with because they don’t know how to pronounce the real names”.  Pietro then leaned back down on his back as he continued.
“Still, I think it would be nice. It could be our thing, just between the three of us. And you can come up with mine and Wanda’s”.
“And what about (y/n)’s?” Wanda asked with a raised eyebrow.
“I already thought of (y/n)’s nickname and it’s perfect for her”.
“Uh-oh now I’m afraid for my life”.
“Trust me,” he then sat up fully and pulled me up by my hands while Wanda pushed herself up as Pietro then decreed. “I, Pietro Maximoff give (y/f/n) (y/m/n) Maximoff, the name ‘Wolfie’”.
“Wolfie? Really?” I stated.
“Yeah, why not?”
“You’re gonna have to come up with something else, because I am not going to be called Wolfie”.
“Aww (yyyy/nnnnnnn~)” he stretched out my name as he brought me into his chest, well more like smothered me into his chest. “It took me forever to come up vith that name. It fits you so much, plus it’s cute!” I struggled in his arms but everytime I could get some distance, he’d pull me right back into his chest.
He then proceeded to peck my cheek with wet, obnoxious kisses making me squirm and groan.
“Please just take it, I like Wolfie and it suits you a lot. Please, please, please, please, please~” he even went as far as giving me the puppy dog face with lip pout.  I groaned and I said to Wanda.
“How do you deal with this?”
“It’s a twin thing, you learn to live with it after awhile”.  I groaned then said.
“Ohh alright fine, I’ll be Wolfie”.
“Yay!” Pietro cheered as he nuzzled his face to mine, his stubble tickling my cheek making me giggle. “I knew you’d like it!”
“But just know that even though wolves are the ancestors of common dogs, doesn’t mean you can treat me like a dog while I’m in that form. I am a wolf, not a golden retriever”. I got out of Pietro’s arms as Wanda finally spoke up.
“Now what of our names?” I hummed as I rubbed my chin going deep in thought.
“Well, after much thought and careful placing, Wanda I decree that you should be ‘Mama Bear’ because of your gentle and protective nature. Your nurturing ways just give off this Mother bear vibe as you keep Pietro grounded and out of trouble, and making me feel safe when you hold me, as well as helping me remember my human side. And no matter how bigger or much stronger your opponent maybe, a mother bear will die to protect her cubs”.
“Mama bear? I like it”.
“And for me Wolfie?” Pietro asked eagerly.  I rolled my eyes still trying to get used to the nickname.  My demeanor then turned solemn because of what I chose to call Pietro.
“Well Pietro, I’ve really debated your nickname because not only does it fit you, but to me personally it would be like carrying on someone that I loved very, very dearly. I’ve decided that you shall be, Big Grey, in honor of Little Grey. Because he was also loving, protective, sweet, and he was always there to pick me up when I fell. He was always there to help cheer me up whenever I was sad, whether he nuzzled me and licking away my tears, or acting like an overgrown pup just leaping around and being playful trying to get me to laugh, Little Grey did everything he can to protect me and to make me smile, and ever since I met you guys even as a wolf, I’d always feel myself smile because of you Pietro, that’s why I wish to call you Big Grey”.
Pietro stood still for a moment before bringing me into his arms, my head resting right above his heart and he said.
“Oh (y/n), I am honored to carry on Little Grey’s name. I promise I will take it with pride, and I’ll always be there for you. Just like Little Grey did for you”.
“Yeah,” I trailed off as I looked down at my hands and looked at my veins.  “Even though his blood flows through my veins and my wolf form almost resembles his, it still hurts to know that I’m the one responsible for killing him”.
“He loved you (y/n). You and he shared a bond that only Pietro and I have ever known. It wasn’t your fault, and if time were to turn back, I’m sure Little Grey would’ve saved you again. He loved you (y/n), just as much as you loved him”.  Wanda said as she gently placed her hand on my shoulder and I looked at her with sad, solemn eyes.
She kissed my forehead while Pietro rubbed my back and arms comfortingly kissing the top of my head.  I then took notice of the stars fading and the first light of dawn approaching.
“It’s almost sunrise, we need to head back to Ultron to officially begin our mission”.
“It’ll be okay (y/n) you’ve got us protecting you,” Wanda said.
“And you guys got me to protect you”.
“It’s us against the Avengers. If one of us gets hurt,”
“The other vill be zhere to pick you up” Pietro said.
“The bond between Big Grey, Mama Bear and Wolfie will strive against anything those Avengers can dish up. Now let’s kick some ass” I stated as my eyes phased into wolf gold.
Salvage Yard, African Coast
We arrived at the Churchill, Great Britain trading ship that was docked along the African coast where Ultron had told us that Strucker had told him where the material for Vibranium could be found by someone known as Ulysses Klaue and given him the location just before Ultron killed him.
Now this part of the plan was simple, first I would kill the lights to the ship which would cause the workers to stop working and evacuate.  The twins would distract Klaue giving me and Ultron the chance to finally come up and reveal ourselves and get all the Vibranium we needed.
I quietly stalked through the ship hiding from all the guards that would pass by and finally found the main switch to the power in my wolf form. I opened up the box and used my fangs to snap the wires which caused the entire ship to go black.  Like we predicted, I could hear everyone shouting in the native tongue until someone cried out.
“Evacuate now!”  Ultron then came up to me and rubbed the top of my head.
“Well done (y/n)” he then picked me up flew me over to Klaue’s office where the twins were being kept.  I could hear through the glass thanks to my sensitive hearing.
“So if you’re going to fiddle with my brain. And make me see a giant cuttlefish, then I know you don’t do business, and I know you’re not in charge. And I only deal with the man in charge”. Ultron and I were right at the glass window looking right into the office and there I saw Klaue standing in front of the twins with eyes looking to kill if they didn’t give out any more answers.
I leapt through the window and pinned him down to the ground snarling in his face.  My paw right over his chest and my claws nearly breaking through his shirt as I snarled defensively.  He looked up at me in fear trying to sooth me with calming words that you would use on a dog, which made me even more aggressive.  I then felt Ultron walk behind me as he stated.
“There is no man in charge” He then leaned over my shoulder looking straight into Klaue’s eyes as he continued, “Let’s talk business”.
Klaue’s second in command then opened a latch door revealing containers of toxic wastes but when he pressed a button the toxins lowered down and soon revealed tons and tons of sticks of Vibranium.  Klaue then took one of the Vibranium sticks out as Ultron stated and was given the Vibranium by Klaue.
“Upon this rock, I will build my church, Vibranium”. Ultron then tossed it to Pietro who caught it as Klaue then said.
“You know it came at great, personal cost” he rubbed the back of his neck where I noticed a brand burned into his skin hidden within his tattoos. “It’s worth billions”. Ultron chuckled then closed his eyes as he did something before finally saying.
“Now so are you”. His second in command’s phone buzzed as Klaue went up to him as Ultron continued while Klaue took his second in commands phone to see billion and billions of dollars being transported into their accounts, “it’s all under your dummy holdings. Finance is so weird, but I always say ‘keep your friends’ rich, and your enemies rich and wait to find out which is which’”.  It was then things went south.
“Stark” Klaue said. I looked to the twins then at Ultron as he said.
“What?”
“Tony Stark use to say that, to me. You’re one of his”.
“What? I’m not—” Ultron then gripped tightly onto Klaue’s arm. His second in command went to grab his gun and shot but Wanda used her powers to push his arm and the gun down towards the ground as Ultron snarled, “I am not. You think I’m one of Stark’s puppets? His hollow men? I mean look at me do I look like Iron Man? Stark is nothing!” Suddenly Ultron chopped Klaue’s arm right off. The twins and I were surprised at this sudden rage of his.  And suddenly seeing his arm just lying there on the ground almost triggered Bad Wolf back but Wanda quickly pet my head and rubbed my ears making me calm down.
As Klaue was panting in shock at the sudden loss of his arm, Ultron then said.
“I’m sorry. I’m….Oh, I’m sure that’s going to be okay. I’m sorry. It’s just I don’t understand…Don’t compare me with Stark!” He then kicked Klaue sending him down a flight of stairs with his second in command running after him as Ultron continued to snarl, “it’s a things with me. Stark is…He’s a sickness!”
“Aww junior,” suddenly on the other side of the small bridge between us landed Tony Stark, Thor and Captain America.  “You’re gonna break your old man’s heart”. Tony Stark said again.  I phased into my human form so that I could finally speak to them while Pietro tossed the Vibranium aside and all four of us walked towards the edge of our side of the bridge.
“If I have to” Ultron said.
“Nobody has to break anything”. Said Thor.
“Clearly you’ve never made an omelet” stated Ultron.
“You beat me by one second” Tony muttered to Thor who only looked confused.
“Ah, yes he’s funny, Mr. Stark, it’s what comfortable? Like old times?” Pietro stated in a dark sarcastic tone as he and Wanda glared at Tony Stark as well as the missile bombs that Klaue’s workers were trading.
“This was never my life” Tony stated.
“You three can still walk away from this” Captain America told us.
“Oh we will” Wanda sneered.
“I know you’ve suffered”.
“Oh really? Do you? Because none of you seem to give a damn about what happens when organizations slip right under your noses and cause mayhem. You have no idea how much we’ve suffered. How I suffered!” I snarled as my fangs grew into Bad Wolf’s fangs but Ultron stopped my urge to leap right at them with a scoff and a chuckle as he said.
“Captain America. God’s righteous man. Pretending you can live without a war. I can’t physically throw up in my mouth, but—”
“If you believe in peace, then let us keep it”. Thor stated.
“I think you’re confusing “peace” with “quiet””.
“Uh-huh. What’s the Vibranium for?” Stark asked.
“I’m glad you asked that because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan”. Ultron then magnetized his hand forcing Stark’s Iron Man suit forward while Captain America and Thor handed some of Ultron’s other bodies. Ultron then shot out red laser blasts sending Stark against the wall soon resulting them both flying in the air battling it out.
Once Thor and Captain America were too distracted Pietro took the first run and slammed into Thor while his back was turned which then gave me my chance to leap out as Bad Wolf and snap my jaws trying to tear his face off but I was quickly thrown off down to the lower levels of the ship.
War soon broke out everywhere.  Gunshots were fired, grunts and groans were heard, lasers and blasts being shot everywhere, etc.  I managed to kill off a few of the guards with my fangs and claws and even using my resonance howl to send them back flying.
Tumblr media
Suddenly I heard Pietro’s yelp and saw him flying towards a tower of crates.  I quickly leapt right at for him and landed on the ground and instead of the crates, he ended up slamming right into my side making me softly yelp.  He looked up at me and said.
“Thanks Wolfie”. I softly whimpered and licked his cheek and nudged him to stand up and he took off running again.  Just before I could get up, I was hit straight in the face by a shield causing me to yelp in pain and I saw Captain America standing over me as he sternly commanded me.
“Stay down mutt”.  As he took off running I snarled offensively.  Mutt? He dares to call me a mutt? I snarled at him furiously and ran after him.
When he was distracted from fighting the guards, I picked him up by the arm with my fangs and ran until I tossed him straight at the corner of a stairwell.  Now in human form I loamed over him squeezing his throat as tight as I could as I snarled maliciously with a wicked grin.
“Who’s the mutt now? Mutt!” Wanda soon used her powers on Captain America as he grinned at him before following her.
She got into Black Widow’s mind without even needing my help but when it came to the archer who was firing arrows, I stopped her and said.
“Hold on Mama Bear. To take down a hunter, a wolf doesn’t go straight for the man, they go for the spear. Let me take the weapon away from him, then once he’s defenseless, you take him”.
“Alright, be careful Wolfie”. I nodded then I waited for the archer to fire his last arrow which made everyone get knocked right to the ground.  As he stood there I knew then this would be easy, I stalked right up to him my nails turning into claws ready to destroy his bow when he suddenly turned around, quickly pulled off my red scarf and put an arrow right to my neck.
It suddenly attached to my neck like a collar and delivered enough voltage to stun and cause pain.  I cried out in agony and fear remembering that dreaded Hydra collar I was forced to wear.  Shaking and trying to force it off me, tears rolling down my eyes but the archer didn’t even take pity with me.
“You got me once She-wolf, not gonna let it happen again”. Suddenly he was pushed by Pietro and I landed into Wanda’s arms her voice just barely registering in my head.  Pietro quickly ripped the damn arrow off my neck and took me from Wanda’s arms carrying me like a small pup.
Whimpering and softly sobbing into his shoulder, Pietro and Wanda glared down at the archer with hateful eyes then Wanda hopped onto her brother’s back and he took off running.
Outside near some large crates and junk, Pietro sat me on an old cylinder tube and the twins were hovering over me.  Wanda sitting beside me holding my face gently in her hands and Pietro with one hand stroking down my head soothingly and his other hand taking both my hands slowing me to squeeze them as tight as I wanted to.
“What can we do Wolfie?” Pietro asked me softly.
“God please make it stop!” I sobbed out as I was now having panic attacks from remembering my previous collar, shaking my head trying to get the flashbacks out of my head.  Wanda was stroking my wet cheeks with her thumbs wiping away my tears as Pietro snarled.
“I’m going to kill him! I’ll be right back—”
“No!” I cried out as I gripped onto his arm tightly, my claws still out.  “I’m fine! You both….” I panted out heavily as the twins stared at me and my eyes soon caught sight of the Avenger’s quinjet as well as Bruce Banner. “You both will have to finish the plan without me. Get the big one”. My eyes phased into Bad Wolf’s golden eyes as the twins glared at him with the same hatred and rage as me.
“Pietro, get her back to zhe ship”.  Pietro then picked me back up and quickly ran back to our jet leaving Wanda to unleash the Hulk.
When we got there, Pietro set me down gently on the small bed in the back and covered me up with a stress blanket.  My energy was suddenly drained from my sudden panic attack, Pietro stayed beside me gently stroking my head and brushing away the stray strands from my face.
“Big Grey?” I stated breathlessly.
“I’m here Wolfie, I’m here. You did good out zhere, those Avengers didn’t know what hit zhem”.
“The archer, he—”
“Shhhh, shhh, do not zhink of that old man now, sleep Wolfie, sleep”. With Pietro’s soft, soothing voice, his gentle petting, and soft touches my vision soon turned black as I finally passed out from exhaustion. The last thing I felt was a gentle kiss to my forehead and I could hear soft humming.
*3rd Person POV*
As Pietro sat there by (y/n)’s side Wanda soon arrived with Ultron.  Wanda quickly went up to her brother and said.
“How is she?”
“She’s exhausted, I just got her to go to sleep”. Wanda knelt down beside her brother and gently stroked (y/n)’s head carefully without waking her up.
“We’ll head to our next destination and proceed to Phase 2 of our plan, you two can stay with her then meet me at Helen Cho’s lab when she wakes up”. Ultron stated as he sat down at the control seat and flew the jet out of the African coasts and towards Seoul, Korea.

Levi's childhood hadn’t been the easiest. He was raised in the slums by his omega mother. The streets were always dark and littered with garbage but luckily for Levi, he wasn’t out often enough to see the disgrace. Instead, he lived out much of his young years helping his mother in the brothel by cleaning. His mother had locked him in the closet multiple times with instructions to stay silent. For hours, he was left in the dark waiting for the moans to end. Levi grow up cerounded by drugged up omegas and dirty alphas needing release and that’s how his understanding of the world formed. That was until his mother died and some man insisting on being his uncle showed up.
Kenny was the one that showed Levi what it was like to live a normal life. He was brought to live in a good neighbourhood and treated like an actual son. He was put in school and giving fencing lessons. He learned that his uncle was quite bad at housework and how much of a clean freak he really was. He was taught that no matter what gender he was he had rights. He was giving a good life.
His teen years were much harder. Levi had presented as an omega quite early on and was attacked during his first heat. Two older alphas from his school had cornered him and managed to strip and deflower him before he was able to fight them off. He arrived home with blood dripping from his fist and was congratulated when his uncle was informed the blood belonged to the attackers. From that point on, Levi worked hard on getting stronger. He picked up mixed martial arts and vowed to never allow an alpha to have their way with him again.
One morning, Levi was cleaning the kitchen when he heard a faint knock at the door. He opened the door to find a little boy with brown hair and big green eyes. He stared quietly up at the teen and started laughing.
“What do you want kid? Where’s your parents?” Levi asked while beginning to eye the sidewalk in search for any adults.
“Want to play!” the boy demanded while tugging on Levi’s hand. “Come play! Come play!”
Levi followed the child down the street to a small house. The front door was open wide and a women came rushing out with tears falling from her eyes.
“Eren, don’t ever go running off again you hear me,” the woman gently scolded the child before rising and thanking Levi for bringing him home. The boy moved in front of Levi spreading his arms protectively while hissing at the women.
“My friend! You can’t take him away. You can’t! “ the child cried.
“Oh, you made a friend? He looks kind of busy Eren. Why don’t you come play with me and let him get back to what he was doing.”
The boy gripped onto Levi's hand impressively tight and started to swat at the women. Levi couldn’t help but chuckle. For some reason, he felt pretty fond of the small boy. He patted the boy’s head before telling him to listen to his mother and not to be mean to her.
“She wants to send you away. You promised to play. You can’t leave now, you can’t!” the boy cried.
“Would you like to come in for tea?” the boy’s mother asked politely and before he could answer, the child was pulling him through the front door.
Levi continued to visit Eren in an attempt to keep him from running away from home which he’d done multiple times. The boy’s parents were kind, even though Levi had only met the boy’s father once. Carla was sweet and seemed happy her boy had made a friend. She even helped Levi make it home one day when his heat had started unexpectedly.
Eren was a cute kid, very fierce and stubborn. He had demanded that Levi wait for him to grow up to take him away. He said that he would marry him and protect him. Levi told him that he'd find a pretty girl that was much more suited to him then an old man like himself but Eren wouldn’t have it. He even told his mom about his plans to run off with Levi.
Time seemed to pass fast with Eren. Levi enjoyed the boys company. The omega’s home life had become boring as his uncle had been gone for months on business and work had slowed drastically. He found himself spending more and more time in the Yeager house.
“Levi, you’ve been so good to Eren these past few years and I’m grateful for all your help but aren’t you ready to settle down? I mean you’re already 24.” Carla asked one night while handing Levi a cup of tea. Eren had falling asleep on Levi’s lap. He smile down at the boy knowing full well he would hate the woman’s question.
“I’ve never really thought much of finding a mate,” Levi confessed. “One of the lawyers I met at the court house keeps asking me out on a date but I’m not sure about wanting to get married anytime soon.”
“You’re a lovely man. Anyone would be lucky to have you. I really want you to find happiness Levi. You’ve done so much for our family. It would make me very proud to see you with someone you loved.”
Levi couldn’t help but blush. The women had become almost a mother figure to him. He loved her and he loved Eren. He didn’t really care so much about pigheaded alphas trying to get down his pants.
“Eren would never allow it,” Levi chuckled. “He almost bit Hanji when I brought her over, even though she’s a beta and only a friend.”
“You’re right. That was very embarrassing. I couldn’t believe my child would do something like that. He really loves you.” Carla smiled.
“I worry he won’t make any friends his own age. I mean he has Armin and that girl Mikasa seems to fancy him but he still gets in fights with the other students.”
“He’s a good boy. He sticks up for his friend and Armin's so small. Even the children know he’s destined to be an omega, the poor thing,” the women quieted. Levi knew how things were. No one wanted to be an omega and they were pitied. He couldn’t change that even if he desperately wanted to.
“Sorry,” Carla's head popped up as she tried to think of a way to make things better. “You’re so strong for an omega that I often forget all the hardships you must have faced. I’m glad Eren was able to meet an omega like you. He still doesn’t understand everything but I’m sure he’ll grow up to be understanding and excepting of all genders thanks to you. “
“Levi, you’re an omega right?” Eren’s sleepy voice interrupted the two adults. “ When I grow up, I’’ll be your alpha.”
“Eren, Levi is getting older. Its time for you to let him go find his mate,” Carla stood to left Eren off of Levi’s lap.
“But Levi’s mine… we’ll be mates,” the boys eyes glued to Levi’s in a pleading manner. Levi didn’t want to object but something about mating with a kid 15 years his junior didn’t seem right either.
“Come on Eren,” Carla said pulling Eren away from the man. Its time for bed. Say good night to Levi.”
The boy struggled to stay in Levi’s hold. He sobbed lightly as his mother tugged at his body. Levi was about to scold the boy for not listening to his mother when he felt a pinch at his neck. Carla gasped and began to pull Eren harder which caused Levi to flinch.
Eren’s eyes were furious as his mother pulled him away. A small trickle of blood ran from his lips. Levi’s hand rose to feel the now numb area of his neck. Eren had bitten him.
“He’s mine! I marked him, see. We can be together forever now,” the boy clawed at his mother. Carla was horrified by the boy’s action.
“Y-you can't just bite an omega’s neck Eren. You hurt Levi. What’s your father going to say about this?”
“It’s…” Levi started before Carla cut him off.
“This is not fine, Levi. If Eren had already presented, you would be bound to him,” the women yelled. Eren finally started to settle as he saw the blood running from the omega’s neck.
“I-I’m so…” Eren began to cry.
“Levi, let me see,” Carla said while carrying over some paper towel. She gently pressed the towel down and Levi couldn’t help but grit his teeth at the pain. “You might need stitches.”
“I’m sure its not that bad,” he replied hoping to calm Eren but he looked just as horrified as before. “I’m ok Eren. I know you didn’t mean to.”
“I think you should get it looked at by a doctor. Would you like me to call Grisha?” Carla asked.
“Ill ask Hanji to take a look. She’s almost a doctor herself.”
“I’m going to put Eren to bed. Can you lock up when you leave?”
The bite did leave a scar on the omega’s neck but that was all he had left to remember to kid by. The Yeager's were disgusted by the boy's action and wouldn’t permit Eren to see Levi anymore. Levi was crushed but figured it was about time he severed ties with the boy before he got even more attached. Levi dove into his work and asked for more cases. He spent many nights working at the office.
Three years passed by quickly. Levi had gotten an offer to work as a trail lawyer for a big firm and was making great progress. He loved his job. He also didn’t mind that he got to work beside a tall blonde alpha who seemed to fancy him. He got along well with Erwin.
After grocery shopping all morning, the tired Levi stumbled through the door. He was shocked to see Erwin and Kenny sitting at the table. The two seemed very comfortable talking together. Erwin was the first to notice Levi in the doorway and stood quickly.
“Levi, I can’t believe the time has already come,” Kenny blabbed.
“What’s this about?” the confused Levi asked.
“Well I was hoping to get permission to marry you,” the tall blonde spoke.
“I’m sure you two will make beautiful children. This guy’s been fighting off alphas since he was young. I think you’ll get along just fine.” Kenny kept yapping.
Levi was shocked that the alpha had chosen this route especially in this day in age. He felt neglected out of the decision and pressured by his uncles words. Erwin was the only person he’d ever really thought about dating but this was just jumping over the whole dating step.
“What makes you think I’d want to marry you?” the omega coldly asked.
“Levi, I’ve liked you for awhile now. You’re handsome and hardworking. I know you’ve been eyeing me too. I can provide for you. I have lots of money and I’m well endowed. What more could you ask for?”
“Come on, Levi. You’re 27 years old. Not many alphas are looking for omegas your age. This could be your only chance.”
Levi hated his uncles phrasing. He never needed an alpha before so why was now any different? He continued to think while Erwin came over and wrapped an arm around the omega causing his heart to pump faster.
“I promise I’ll make you happy… just give me a chance.”
*
Three and a half years since the last time they’d seen Levi, the Yeagers received a letter in the mail. It was a beautiful card decorated in gold announcing the wedding of Levi Ackerman and Erwin Smith. Carla was thrilled for the man. She had always hoped he’d find a loving alpha but was worried Eren had traumatized him with the whole biting situation. Her son was now in middle school and causing just as much trouble as ever. They suspected that he’d soon present, most likely as a beta or an alpha. Not wanting to cause Levi any more stress, Eren wasn’t informed on Levi’s engagement and the family soon forgot about the omega all together.

Bound Together: Part 24
Utadukeeus: They were about to cross the bridge at the waterfall, heading towards Snowdin. A gangster approached the family at the bridge entrance. "Hold it!" The gangster snapped. "This belongs to Iredox, now. If you wanna cross..." the monster smiled. "You gotta pay the toll....." "I got your toll right here..." Habriel said, extending a middle finger to the monster. Skywardsister: "Habriel!" Toriel yelled, making him jump. She blushed, almost feeling obligated to apologize to the gangster for her son's behavior and manners. She sighed. "What do you mean, 'toll?'" She inquired. Utadukeeus: "9999G..." the ganster said. "If you don't have that, then....." he reached for his machete, keeping it sheathed. Skywardsister: "Tsk. Iredox knows that nobody can afford that, clearly." Toriel folded her arms and frowned. "Is there anything else we can do to get through? Something feasible?" She asked the gangster. Utadukeeus: "Nope..." the gangster said. "This boy caused a whole lotta pain to the boss. That's why it costs so much." "What'd you do?" Chara asked Habriel. "I kinda made him bite off his own tongue...." Habriel said. Skywardsister: Chara became unamused. "Really?" "Please, he was defending himself. Isn't there something we can do?" Toriel asked, becoming impatient with the monster in their way. She was getting ready. "Why don't you bring him out?" Utadukeeus: The monster laughed. "Bring the boss out?" The gangster laughed. "All the way from base? You really do have a death wish." Habriel had enough. He made a demonic smile and initiated battle with the monster, showing his curse. "What the Hell!?" The monster gasped. He jumped back at the sight of the specter. "What is that thing? What are you?" "If you don't let us pass, you'll find out..." Habriel growled. "You're a freak!" The monster spat. "A demon!" "Well..." Habriel shrugged. "In the famous words of Shakespeare." He gave another demonic glare. "'Hell is empty and all the devils are here....'" the monster was deathly afraid as the specter chuckled when hearing the quote. The monster got up and ran away. Skywardsister: Toriel just shook her head and sighed at Habriel's threat. "It's not the best to threaten, but we'll get through now, I guess..." She muttered, displeased once again with Habriel's manner. She strode ahead of him, leading them all. Frisk shook their head, Chara too. Utadukeeus: Habriel shook his head from behind. He had been dealing with these degenerates for a while and they killed the love of his life. He was not going to be gentle with them, any longer. 'That guy's lucky I didn't kill him.' He thought. Skywardsister: Frisk and Chara walked on either side of Habriel. Frisk turned to him. "Y'know... Mom's not very happy with what you're doing... I know you're upset." They averted their gaze from him. "But still... I guess we can't tell you what to do." 'We can't tell you what Marion'd want, either,' Chara thought. Utadukeeus: "I'm not too happy with those degenerates at the moment..." Habriel said. "They tried to kill me how many times? And now they kill Marion, the woman I promised to marry when we get older." Habriel was gonna go further into the rant, but sighed. "It's hard on me too, you know. You try so hard to just forgive and move on. But they've done too much. To you, to me and to everyone else. I don't think I can be so forgiving like you or mom. No matter how hard I try..." Skywardsister: "It's okay, everybody's different," Frisk smiled. "I understand. It's really hard to just forgive people. But I certainly don't forget anytime soon. It's almost like keeping tabs on past events- though that's not the healthiest either. I at least try to just be kind or coldly civil when talking to people I don't like." "And you know what happened with me," Chara interrupted. "My story certainly didn't work out." Utadukeeus: "Still. I'm trying..." Habriel said. "I could have easily killed that guy by throwing him off the bridge. Then make up some excuse like 'he had it coming' or 'it was for the greater good'. As much as I can't forgive them. I won't stoop down to their level, either." He sighed again. "I'm just really tired of constantly being in danger. Knowing there's nothing that can be done about it...." Skywardsister: Frisk sighed. "Yeah..." Chara shook their head again. "Just don't succumb to the urge. You're doing good so far. I never made it as far as you have; that's saying something." They emphasized, recalling how they acted not too long before to Habriel and the gang. Utadukeeus: "And I'm sorry if i offended any of you." He said. "It wasn't my intention to..." Skywardsister: Chara and Frisk insisted at the same time that he wasn't insulting to them, then they blushed from talking simultaneously. Toriel walked in silence ahead of them. Utadukeeus: "I thought it was pretty funny..." a deep voice said. Habriel turned and was finally able to see the specter. "Hello..." the thing said. "What the Hell?" Habriel muttered. "No wonder that guy was terrified. You look horrifying." the specter chuckled in response. "Well it can't be helped...." it said. "So how come we can see and talk to each other now?" Habriel asked. "Our bond is getting stronger...." the specter smiled. "I wonder how long it will be before I can claim that body as my own." the specter reached out and caressed Habriel's shoulders which sent chills down the boy's spine. "Please don't..." he said. Skywardsister: Chara and Frisk watched in horror. "Habriel, perhaps trying to put off your thoughts of revenge and killing is a better idea after all... it'll keep you from losing yourself to him," Chara commented while watching the figure. They shuddered. Utadukeeus: "You don't want to lift the curse in the ways given to you..." Seraph said. "A shame, all you have to do is find a pretty lady and all your problems would go away nine months later...." "Absolutely not." Habriel snapped. "The curse would just move on to that child." "So you want to be the last of our bloodline?" Seraph asked. "If it means no one else has to suffer, then yes." Habriel answered. "I wonder how long you can maintain this mindset." Seraph said. "But hey, you might be able to pull it off." The specter gave an unsettling smile. "Then we get to burn in Hell together...." Skywardsister: "He could always get married and... y'know, adopt a kid," Chara stated sarcastically, smirking at the threatening figure. "Never thought of that, did you? I would have expected you to be much smarter." Frisk snorted at their remark. Utadukeeus: "Oh but where's the fun in that?" Seraph asked. He turned back to Habriel. "You do realize that with me, you're doomed to a horrible fate, right?" "What horrible fate?" Habriel asked. "Mages and those bound to mages are destined to fall to a demon's hand." Seraph answered. "Metaphorically, of course. I've seen it happen countless times. You'll either die a horrible death or you'll go insane and kill yourself, wanting the pain to end. If you just bear a child now. You can move on..." "The answer's still no." Habriel said. "You really do have a death wish, don't you?" Seraph asked. "So what?" Habriel muttered, trying to make sure no one else could hear him. Skywardsister: "He could also make himself infertile if he wanted to mess around, then adopt a kid," Chara rolled their eyes and laughed obnoxiously at Seraph. "You really don't think of all the paths of fate. He could do anything he wanted in that sense. You only think of the, heh, carnal urges, so to speak. Quite ignorant of you." They winked. Utadukeeus: "Says the foolish little child who wanted to destroy the world because of the oh so terrible humans..." Seraph said. He moved in front of Habriel. "So if your plan is to just die, why wait?" he asked. "You might as well leave now. Don't worry about them, they'll forget you and move on. So why not just get it over with?" Habriel ignored him. "You're already at a bridge, all it takes is just one tiny step." Skywardsister: "Forget him?! Yeah right, idiot!" Frisk yelled, shocking everyone. Nobody ever heard or expected this innocent, determined-to-be-merciful child to call someone a name. "You don't know what love is! You don't know what family means! We would never forget him! He's my brother- the only one I've ever had, and I would follow him to the end of the world!" They spat at Seraph, eyes glaring. Chara clapped. Utadukeeus: "Oh I know all too well about love, descendant of my once best friend..." Seraph smiled. "I know all your games. You'll just use him as a tool and throw him away once he's no longer useful. Just like Alice did.... I just don't want you to get that luxury. Using him, playing with him like a toy. You'll do whatever you want, reset and do the right thing. That ghost doesn't care about him at all. And that lady over there just wants children. She doesn't care who, she'll just move on to whomever comes next. You all use him as your emotional crutch. It's disgusting..." Skywardsister: "We don't use him! I care about him and want him to do everything it takes for him to get rid of you once and for all! I'll never reset the timeline again as long as I exist!" They screamed at the top of their lungs at him, straining their body, lungs and vocal chords. Chara stepped back, overwhelmed by their screams. It seemed as if, for a rare occasion, Frisk's blood boiled and they were consumed by a fury. Utadukeeus: "You want to get rid of me?" Seraph asked with a smile. "You know what to do. But you don't have the guts to do it." He gave an unsettling smile as he floated next to Habriel. "But don't worry, I'll do it for you." He pushed Habriel off the bridge. Habriel gasped and grabbed onto the edge. Looking up at the ghost smiling down at him. Skywardsister: Chara and Frisk screamed together. They were horrified. They needed a way to get rid of this demon. Frisk pulled Habriel up as quickly as humanly possible. "Of COURSE I don't want him to die!" Utadukeeus: Frisk couldn't lift the boy. He was too heavy. The specter floated over to Toriel. "You know, for such a concerned mother..." Seraph whispered in her ear. "You're not doing a good job watching over your children...." Skywardsister: The mother shot her fist through the specter and backtracked, pulling Habriel up onto the bridge. "We need to get rid of Seraph," She murmured. Utadukeeus: "I know...." Habriel said. "Oh come on, life would be so boring without me!" Seraph mocked. "I have an idea! You should go and start even more fights with that gang! If you're lucky, one of them will kill you and I get to move on!" "Can you just be quiet for a couple seconds?" Habriel asked, placing a hand on his forehead. "Not too long ago, you wouldn't say anything. Now we can't get you to shut your mouth." "Part of the bond my little descendant." Seraph said. "I couldn't talk because our bond wasn't strong enough back then. But who knows...." He rested a hand on Habriel's shoulders. "Pretty soon, roles might reverse, you get to be the spectator and I get to have some fun." "Enough!" Habriel snapped. He shoved the ghost and gasped. Then smiled. "I guess it goes both ways between us..." He raised a hand in the air.  "Ever get the feeling to talk like that to my family again...." he clenched a fist. "Don't....alright?" Skywardsister: The rest of his family looked threateningly towards Seraph, too. They were all already sick of his games and wanted him to shut his mouth. He was too sarcastic and optimistic for his own good. Utadukeeus: Seraph chuckled. "Boy, if you and I actually fought....without being stuck like this..." his eyes glowed with an unsettling smile. "You wouldn't stand a chance..." "It's a good thing I'm the one controlling the magic, then..." Habriel growled. "For now..." Seraph muttered. Skywardsister: "Boy, does this thing run outta batteries? It's been yackin' all day!" Chara said exaggeratedly and in a sarcastic tone. Toriel made a mental note- contact or meet with Alphys to figure out a way to help Habriel contain and control the magic in his soul against Seraph. Utadukeeus: "You know....if these people didn't care about me so much..." Habriel said. "I would end it now, just so that no one else would have to put up with you....and believe me, I've thought about it..." "Oh great, so you won't jump off...." Seraph groaned. "Don't do anything to make me happy...." "Of course I won't." Habriel said. "Because unlike you, I have a reason to live...." He brushed past the specter and moved on. Skywardsister: Toriel took her children by the hands this time to make sure they were all with her this time, and they began to walk again to go back to the ruins, and back home. They walked past the point where Habriel was pushed off by Seraph. Utadukeeus: Making it to the other side of the bridge, a long sword was thrown into the ground in front of Habriel. He turned to see where it came from and saw a monster that was the same race as Toriel. However this one was a guy, had longer horns than her and he wore a black scarf to hide most of his face. For the rest of his body, he seemed to wear black leather with small metal plates on the sleeves and thigh areas, probably meant for armor. "Are you the one harassing those monsters?" the goat monster asked. "Harassing? They're bandits..." Habriel said. "Really?" the goat monster asked. "Because last I checked, they were running from you..." "Look, there's a bit of a mix up-" another sword was thrown, but Habriel threw up a shield just in time to block it. Skywardsister: "Sir, my son is correct, those monsters had been harassing him and the rest of us for a while now," Toriel stated quickly to the man, hoping to avoid conflict and divert any incoming conflict quickly. Frisk hid behind Toriel in fear that things would turn for the worst. Utadukeeus: "Still, such behavior cannot be tolerated." the goat monster answered. "Prepare yourself. I've trained in the art of combat since childhood back in my village all by myself. I've perfected all of my techniques and mastered the ways of stealth and fire magic. I stop villains whenever I can. Although, I've only recently started my job as a hero, I work alone and have brought a couple bad guys to jail." "Cool story?" Habriel shrugged. The monster waved his hands and the two thrown swords heated up and flew back to the goat monster. The blades of the sword started to glow red from the heat. "Who are you, anyway?" Habriel asked. "My name doesn't matter, scum." the monster said. "However, if you must know my hero name....it's the Blazing Blade!" "Not good with names, are you?" Habriel drooped his arms and gave a bored expression. Skywardsister: Toriel waved her arms frantically in front of herself, sweating. "NO no, sir, this is a mere misunderstanding, we were bystanders from the start, when these bandits came up to us and heckled us. They continued to do so for long intervals, and he threatened them because he did not wish to be harassed any longer-" She spoke fast and in a shaky voice. Utadukeeus: "There's one more thing this scum did." the Blazing Blade said. "He saw through a couple of my attacks and damaged my pride. This, I cannot allow...." the goat monster turned into a cloud of smoke which flew closer to Habriel and Toriel. The Blazing Blade reappeared between them tried to kick Habriel away from Toriel, but Habriel quickly moved out of the way, nonchalantly. The monster gasped and leaped away from the two and started panting. "You're not kidding..." Habriel said. "You are new to this. I mean, the fight just started and you're already tired. Want a water?" "Silence!" the Blazing Blade snapped. He leaped in the air and got ready to kick Habriel over the head, but Habriel moved out of the way again. The goat monster landed on the ground and accidentally did a split. Tears streamed down the monsters eyes as he screeched with a cracked voice. "You okay?" Habriel asked. Skywardsister: "B-be quiet!" The Blazing Blade stammered, losing face. "I shall never take assistance from scum!" Toriel shook her head with a hand at her face. "Come along, children, we shall not let this strange man bother us any longer." With an exasperated huff towards the exhausted goat monster, Toriel took her children's hands and started to move past him. Utadukeeus: "You there, scum!" the goat called out to Habriel as he was walking away. "I want to know your name, for when we do battle again! I will go back to training to regain my honor, as you have just made me your #1 rival!" "It's Habriel...." Habriel said while raising an eyebrow. "Habriel!" the monster wheezed with tears still leaking down your cheeks. "Know this! The next time we meet, I will reclaim my honor!" "Okay...Blazing Blade was it?" Habriel asked. "If we're gonna be rivals..." the Blazing Blade sighed. "It's only fair we don't hide our identities from each other. My real name is Halustreg Djneshons." he held out a hand. "As your new #1 rival, we should shake hands and promise to do battle again." "Nice to meet you, too?" Habriel said while shaking his hand. "It's no big deal about the whole honor thing, your foot just slipped and-" "NO!" Halustreg snapped. "You've also seen through attacks that took me years to master! My honor is tainted! Until I defeat you, I shall have to dedicate myself to training!" "Okay...." Habriel rubbed the back of his neck after they were done shaking hands. "Good luck with that, I guess..." "See you later, my new rival..." Halustreg said. He turned into a cloud of smoke and flew off. Habriel hid most of his face in the palm of his hand as the monster went away. Skywardsister: The family continued walking. "Seriously, my child, I wouldn't even take his threats to heart," She chuckled and pat his head. "But I'll cheer you on for your next battle... with your #1 rival!" She said in a false booming, announcer voice that sounded more appropriate for a wrestling match. They all laughed. Utadukeeus: "I honestly just hope he doesn't hurt himself again..." Habriel sighed after chuckling to Toriel's joke. "The guy's a kid...Although, I do admit. He's got some stones in more ways than one..." Skywardsister: "Whaddya mean, Habriel?" Frisk asked, not quite understanding what he meant. Utadukeeus: "You'll get it when you're older." Habriel said.
