CONFIDENTIAL PSYCHOLOGICAL REPORT PATIENT: Pamela Isley (aka Poison Ivy) THERAPIST: Dr. Misaki Eto SESSION DATE: [REDACTED] LOCATION: Dr. Eto’s Office FILE STATUS: TOP SECRET
SESSION NOTES:
[BEGIN TRANSCRIPT]
The session begins with the sound of plants rustling softly in the background, as Dr. Eto’s office is filled with greenery. From potted plants of various shapes and sizes to creeping vines that adorn the walls, it's clear that this is a space dedicated to nature. The air smells fresh, with an earthy scent of soil and leaves.
Pamela Isley (Poison Ivy): sits across from Dr. Eto, eyeing the plants with curiosity, though her expression remains guarded “So… Harley insisted I come here. Not sure what I’m expecting, but you’ve got a lot of plants.” her voice is calm but slightly skeptical
Dr. Eto: smiling, offering a gentle nod “I’m glad you like them. I’ve always believed that plants bring balance and peace to the soul. They have a way of growing on you, don’t they? It’s like they’re here to remind us of what’s important.”
Pamela Isley: raises an eyebrow, intrigued by the connection “Balance… peace, huh? You might be one of the rare people who gets it. Most people see plants as… well, nothing more than decoration. But you’ve got something going on here.”
Dr. Eto: “Well, I like to think of it as cultivating harmony. I’m part of a global movement that plants trees and greenery all over the world—doing my small part for the planet. Nature’s healing, in every sense. Plus, I’m deeply involved in anti-shark-fishing activism. I believe it’s crucial that we protect both the oceans and the land, or we’ll lose the very things we rely on.”
Pamela Isley: her expression softens slightly, as if a wall has come down just a little “I didn’t expect to hear that. Anti-shark-fishing? You’re one of those people. I’ve seen the damage they do. It’s why I don’t waste my time with certain kinds of people anymore.” pauses, leaning back in her chair, as if mulling something over “It’s… refreshing to meet someone who actually gets it.”
Dr. Eto: “It’s a struggle, but nature is worth fighting for. We only get one Earth. We have to take care of it. I do my best to help in small ways, but it’s always about the bigger picture. How about you, Pamela? What motivates you to protect nature?”
Pamela’s expression shifts, becoming slightly more animated now that she knows the conversation is rooted in something she cares about. There’s a small glint in her eyes, as if she’s finally found someone who shares her values.
Pamela Isley: sighs, a subtle smile tugging at her lips “For me, it’s simple. I’ve seen the damage humans have caused, the way they exploit the planet. I’ve tried to teach them the hard way... but maybe I’m just being impatient. I’m a protector. The Earth’s guardian. And I won’t stand by while others harm it. But… it’s exhausting, isn’t it? Fighting for something no one appreciates.”
Dr. Eto: nods thoughtfully, her voice soft but encouraging “It is exhausting. But you’re doing something that matters. You are making a difference. Even if people don’t understand you, nature does. It listens.”
Pamela watches Dr. Eto carefully, as if weighing her sincerity, then she lets out a small laugh, almost as if she’s letting go of some old tension.
Pamela Isley: “I didn’t think I’d be having a real conversation today. You’re not just some… shrink. I like it.” leans forward slightly, her voice becoming less guarded “You really care about the Earth. That’s rare.”
Dr. Eto: smiling warmly, offering a cup of tea “I think we both know the importance of what we’re doing, Pamela. Sometimes the hardest thing is getting people to listen. But you can always find someone who understands.” gestures to the plants around her “Like I said, they’re always listening.”
Pamela takes a sip from the tea, her posture relaxing even more as the conversation flows easily between them, as though they’ve known each other far longer than they have.
Pamela Isley: chuckles lightly, with a glint in her eye “I bet if I stayed long enough, I’d end up planting something in here. The way you talk, it’s… almost like you’ve coaxed the plants to grow just by being around them.”
Dr. Eto: laughing softly “Maybe I have. Plants thrive on energy, and yours… well, it’s the kind of energy that makes life flourish, even in the hardest of places.” gently but firmly “But you, Pamela, deserve rest. You’ve carried the weight of this world for too long. Take a step back, breathe, and allow yourself a moment of peace.”
Pamela nods slowly, considering her words. She reaches for the small, delicate chocolate candy Dr. Eto offers her as a gesture of comfort and care.
Pamela Isley: pauses as she unwraps the candy, eyeing Dr. Eto “You’re… not what I expected. I’ll think about what you said. For once, I’ll consider taking a real break.” takes a bite of the chocolate, savoring the taste “Maybe you’re right. Maybe it’s time I take care of myself for a change.”
Dr. Eto: “Self-care is important, Pamela. We can’t protect the Earth if we’re running on empty. And don’t worry—nature will be here when you’re ready.”
