A trans-identified man who repeatedly mocked women critical of gender identity ideology online and advocated against female-only rape crisis centers has been sentenced to six and a half years after being found guilty of rape. Alexander Secker, 35, who uses the alias Lexi Bowen, began identifying as woman in the period between the assault and his court hearings but will carry out his sentence in a male prison.

Throughout court proceedings, barristers and the trial judge addressed the rapist as “Ms. Secker” and referred to him with feminine pronouns. But, during sentencing, Judge Jason Taylor KC told Secker: “At the time of this offense, you were a man. You identified as a man and you were, on the evidence, clearly attracted to women.”

In reporting on the conviction, taxpayer-funded media the BBC followed suit, with a headline describing Secker as a “trans woman” while using a photo that depicts him with a full beard.

A trans-identified male in Chester, UK, has pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order by contacting a child believed to be just 9-years-old for the purposes of sexual abuse.

Chloee-Mae Danvers, 25, appeared at Chester Crown Court on August 13, and pleaded guilty to breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order after attempting to contact a child under the age of 18. According to court records, Danvers specifically engaged in explicitly sexual communication with a 9-year-old. He further failed to comply with the order by using aliases on websites without registering the usernames with the police, and for deleting internet browsing history.

Danvers’ crime came as he was already facing sentencing for a separate child sexual offense – namely, possessing a Category A indecent image of a child, along with making two Category B images. According to the Crown Prosecution Service, Category A child pornography is defined as depicting “penetrative sexual activity, sexual activity with an animal or sadism.”

Danvers’ sentencing, which Recorder Eric Lamb said would inevitably be “substantial,” was set to take place on September 25, but Reduxx has learned has been pushed back until October 11.

Prior to his convictions, Danvers, a male who identifies as a woman, was active in his local LGBT community, and had publicly identified himself as being a player with the “Trans & Enby Football Club in Liverpool.” On a GoFundMe page, the club describes itself as “centering trans and non-binary folks” along with the wider LGBT+ community.

“Too often, queer folks are sidelined in mainstream sports, but in our club, trans people are the majority,” the club notes in the fundraiser’s description. “Your contribution will help us grow our club, enabling us to reach more trans people in Liverpool, and build on our proud community club,” they add, claiming that the money will be spent on training sessions and kit. Their Instagram page has been locked down, and it is unclear whether the club is aware of Danvers’ conviction.

In 2022, Danvers attempted to raise just under £1,400 on GoFundMe for a private gender transition. “Hi, my name is Chloee, and I have gender dysphoria. I was born male, but I desire to be a woman. My only option is to go private with the Harley Street Gender Clinic in Marylebone,” Danvers wrote on the since-deleted page.

“My goal is to transition into a woman entirely, and these funds would go towards me getting to London and paying for the consultations.”

On his X profile, Danvers frequently discussed his love for science fiction, notably Star Trek. In 2005, detectives from the Child Exploitation Section of the Toronto Sex Crimes Unit claimed that of the over 100 offenders they had arrested in the previous four years, “all but one” was a “hard-core Trekkie.”

Please, make a post about all the dumb d'eon was cis theories and why they're dumb. Please, I am begging you. I have never wanted anything more in my entire life, never, I swear 🥺

Well now I have to do it don’t I!

I should probably start by pointing out that all these theories are dumb cause none of them are more plausible than d’Eon being trans, but lets get into some more detail and discuss all the other reasons why these theories are dumb. As some of these theories are reliant on understanding the circumstances of d’Eon’s life around the time that she transitioned, I’ll give a short summary for those who are unfamiliar with d’Eon.

D’Eon was amab and lived the first 40ish years of her life presenting as a man, during this time she was a spy/solider/diplomat. She was a member of King Louis XV secret spy ring, the Secret du Roi. The Secret du Roi answered directly to the king and was unknown to the French government. This put people like d’Eon in a difficult situation where they had to balance what the government wanted them to do with what the King wanted them to do. After the Seven Years War d’Eon was sent to London as a diplomat to help negotiate a peace treaty with England. However she was also secretly being sent by King Louis as a spy to conduct reconnaissance for secret plan to invade England. D’Eon, not wanting to be thrown under the bus if she was discovered doing this, got this order in writing. Long story short d’Eon got into a very public feud with another French diplomat in London which embarrassed the French and led to her bing exiled, at least publicly. Secretly however she was still working as a spy for King Louis and was being paid for this work.

During her exile in London rumours started to spread that she was secretly a woman. While it’s impossible to know how these rumours started many believe that she probably started them herself. While she didn’t comment on the rumours publicly at first she did confirm privately to several people that these rumours were true (its probably worth noting that one of these people was a gossip columnist). After King Louis XV died Louis XVI became king of France. Louis XVI decided to end his grandfathers secret spy ring. However d’Eon had top secret information including the plans to invade England which potentially could have started a war between England and France. She had so far remained quiet about this because she was being paid a salary by Louis XV. Louis XVI knew he had to handle the d’Eon situation carefully. They reached an agreement, d’Eon would return all the sensitive papers she had and remain silent on the top secret information she was privy too and in return King Louis would end her exile in London, award her a lifetime pension and legally recognise her as a woman.

Now onto the dumb theories.

1. D’Eon pretended to be a woman for political reasons

The theory: This theory argues that d’Eon due to her actions would have been locked up in the Bastille had she returned to France as a man. As France was a patriarchal society woman, usually, had less power than men, thus if d’Eon returned as a woman she would have been seen as less of a threat than had she returned as a man. This theory argues that d’Eon pretended to be a woman in hopes that she would be shown leniency due to her gender. It seems this one may have originated form d’Eon’s contemporary Henriette Campan who wrote in her memoirs:

This eccentric being had long solicited permission to return to France; but it was necessary to find a way of sparing the family he had offended the insult they would see in his return; he was therefore made to resume the costume of that sex to which in France everything is pardoned. The desire to see his native land once more determined him to submit to the condition, but he revenged himself by combining the long train of his gown and the three deep ruffles on his sleeves with the attitude and conversation of a grenadier, which made him very disagreeable company.

Why this theory is dumb: The most obvious issue I have with this theory is that had d’Eon decided to live as a woman in hopes that she would be seen as less of a threat, wouldn’t she actively be trying not to cause a fuss to avoid being arrested? Instead she repeatedly tries to rejoin the army as a woman leading her to be arrested anyway. The main problem with this theory however is that d’Eon wasn’t just begging France to take her back she was blackmailing the King of France. If all she wanted to do was return to France and live a quiet life, I don’t see why she couldn’t have done this as a man. Am I really meant to believe that she had enough power to negotiate a life long pension but not enough to return to France as a man had she wanted to. While this theory sort of makes sense if you squint at it form afar, it’s a bit of a reach.

I will say this is probably the best of these theories it really only goes downhill form here folks.

2. King Louis forced d’Eon to live as a woman

The theory: This one is a bit of a variant of the last. In this theory the argument is again that d’Eon was less threatening as a woman than she was as a man. However in this theory it’s not d’Eon who comes up with the plan it’s King Louis.

Why this theory is dumb: Do I really have to justify this theory with response? Do I? I guess I do. Besides the obvious reasons why this theory is dumb, it also doesn’t really make a lot of sense with the information we do have. If it was Louis XVI plan, which seems to be what people are suggesting, why was d’Eon telling people as early as 1772 that she was a woman when Louis XVI was not king until 1774? Louis XVI wouldn’t have even known about the d’Eon problem at this point.

3. Beaumarchais convinced d’Eon to live as a woman

The theory: This theory is a combination of the first two, except in this one it was apparently Beaumarchais idea that d’Eon live as a woman. (For those who are unfamiliar, Beaumarchais was the man sent by Louis XVI to negotiate with d’Eon. He had his own reasons for wanting to gain the favour of the King.)

Why this theory is dumb: d’Eon was already telling people she was a woman before Beaumarchais seems to have had any stake in the plan at all. Also all the reasons why the first two are dumb also apply here.

4. It was the only way to stop the rumours

The theory: This theory argues that d’Eon didn’t start the rumours that she was a woman and that there was just no way for her to stop these rumours other than to accept them as true.

Why this theory is dumb: Are you really telling me that a cis man would chose to live the rest of his life as a woman rather than idk agree to be examined by a doctor?

5. D’Eon was a crossdresser

So first I should acknowledge that the vast majority of people who I see claiming that d’Eon was just a crossdresser, don’t seem to have done much research on d’Eon at all, so they’re mostly just misinformed and don’t have any particular theory or anything. However there is a theory that tries to argue this.

The theory: D’Eon was a crossdresser who was caught wearing woman’s clothing. This started the rumours that she was a woman. D’Eon decided that it was better to be seen as a woman who pretended to be a man than as a man who enjoyed wearing womens clothing. This theory argues that had it been made public that d’Eon was a man who liked to wear woman’s clothing that she could have been executed for sodomy.

Why this theory is dumb: Mostly there just ins’t any evidence that she was ever caught wearing woman’s clothing around this time. The rumours weren’t that she was a man wearing women’s clothing they were that she was a woman wearing men’s clothing. Crossdressing balls were also somewhat popular in England around this time so it seems like a stretch to say that even if this did happen she would have been executed without any evidence of actual sodomy.

6. D’Eon dressed as a woman to seduce women

The theory: This theory suggests that d’Eon was actually a cishet man who pretended to be a woman so she could have sex with married women behind their husbands backs. This theory is usually connected with the rumour that she had an affair with Queen Charlotte.

Why this theory is dumb: d’Eon wasn't even attracted to women.

READING- MIXED RACE SUPER MAN

I brought some books throughout this project which I felt would be relevant for my project. All centred around identity or race. The first book I read was “ Mixed-Race Super man written by Will Harris. 

Will Harris is Indonesian and english, he grew up in England and has written this very personal essay with his experience as a man of mixed heritage and other examples of celebrities who are also mixed race eg - Barack Obama and Keanu Reaves. 

Harris in his introduction describes his work “ Mixed Race Superman asks what it means to be mixed race in an increasingly divided world. In an era where a man endorsed by the Klu Klux Klan can sit in the White House, Will Harris considers two very different supermen- Barack Obama and Keanu reaves - each transformed the confusion of a mixed heritage into a heroic identity” also delving into “ exploration of race, identity and masculinity” highlighting the juxtapostion of previously having a mixed race President as opposed to the new some may say “ racist” president who seems evident to cause more divide and controvasy, mentioning his support from Neo-Nazi, and other white supremacy groups...

In conjunction with his It speaks about a time period in which tensions were high with the police, due to multiple injustices and these hate crimes and stabbings. Especially, as these issues are with in the Black community. And although tensions are not as bad here in the UK we do still have a huge problem with stabbings and gang violence still especially in London. And in the US, huge problems between the police and people in minority communities. Some of my family live in America and there is a huge divide between communities- Spanish, Black, White, Jewish in addition to this unimaginably obvious divide theres a big fear of the police as a person of colour. 

He also speaks about his experience growing up in London, when the conversations about race weren’t happening as much as now. He speaks about “ Vague statements about multi-culturalism and the need for intergration” sometimes making the news. And a sense of embarrassment that they were talking about “ people like him”.

Highlighting events of racial hostility in London, and the hate crime against Stephen Lawrence a heart breaking and known case to me. He talks about the negligence from the police and how they mishandled hate crimes at the time. “ Stephen Lawrence was stabbed to death in South London while waiting for the bus. The metropolitan police’s mishandling of the case brought back memories of the 1980′s: of stabbings being un-investigated, the violent and indiscriminate use of stop and search, the shooting of Cherry Groce which led to the 1985 Brixton Riot. A few months after being arrested Stephen Lawrence’s Killer walked free. In 1995 Wayne Douglas was killed in police custody and another riot broke out in Brixton.”

Also speaking about societies expectancy for immediate results. With the New Labour manifesto in 1997 claiming that “our attitudes towards race, sex and sexuality have changed fundamentally”. and questions this statement “ Though we were a racist society- we aren’t anymore”. Which raises questions how can we expect such an immediate result and expect change when racism is institutionalised within the police, education , laws. With stops and searches for more black people, or black people driving nice cars, black people loosing jobs for traditional hair styles and being treated disgustingly by the police. and claiming that people have to “ combine change and social stability”. The evident issue is the only discussions raised are not discussions its a statement. 

Harris goes on to say. “ there wasn’t much social stability for Indian families who had their windows smashed in” and  “ for the South London community Stephen Lawerence had lived in”. Almost as though the social stability must come from minority groups and victims when in fact the change comes from much higher up, and is much bigger than a statement. It needs to be a conversation about race, and division and HOW to create social stability and in subsequently creating change within communities. 

He continues, “ They didn’t want to appear callous, overlooking the needs of ethnic minorities; nor did they want to appear weak, giving into the demands of identity based ‘ pressure groups’. Multiculturalism gave them the perfect rallying cry and emollient, offending no one by including everyone”. I believe this mind set is still very prominent today. ‘ offending no one by  including everyone”. This is similar to the current movement, black lives matter. Where by people who are protesting and trying to create change towards police brutality and the black community. People say in response to this movement “ all lives matter”. But by generalising a specific race related issue you then restrict the rights of people ( minority groups) who need protection and who need the social change. White privilege and male privilege are two problems which are very much in bedded into our society. And there is need to distinguish difference between different ethnic groups, because the issues I may face, as opposed to a muslim woman or a black woman would all be different and are all so individual and personal you can not begin to blend all this social, cultural and political aspects for everyone as the “ same” and “ equal”. Because right not for a lot of people of colour it is not, and there for must be distinguished as different. 

“ Now there was a politician who not only looked different, but talked beautifully- and knowingly- of his mixed race up bringing. Here was a story that was long and painful but seemed to bend implacably towards justice”. And although throughout this book I found the kind of superman comparisons slightly bizarre, but this statement I did relate to. Growing up I didn’t have anyone really who looked like me in cartoons, books, or many role models only celebrities maybe singers or models who were mixed race. But to see Obama, a man who looks like us as the president of the US, was indescribable. It was something that was almost was unimaginable with the deep rooted history of slavery, segregation , racism that they would have a black president and almost highlighted this idea that anything could be possible and the world was changing and mindsets were changing. It was exciting and almost I understand this superman complex he speaks of, this invincible man- despite all of societies hurdles, and the difficulties that arose he became president and created a time of hope .

Unfortunately for me, Harris doesn’t refer to examples of women in history or currently, it is very male orientated. However, as an account of his personal experience I do understand as throughout the exploration for my identity, I have looked at goddesses, female artists and women who have inspired me as these women of colour I relate to personally and have been “ role models” to me. As Keanu Reeves is a celebrity in which Harris looks up to. He does touch on a few times, about feminism, gender-fluidity and trans people.

In conclusion I think that Harris gave a very insightful and personal account of his experience as a man of mixed heritage. I agree with many of his points throughout his essay and discusses similar socio-cultural issues which I have explored.

Another violent man with a history of assaulting women personal the prison is now identifying as a woman. And the Scottish government is ok 🤷‍♂️

Women employed at a male prison in Scotland have come forward to allege that they were forced to strip-search one of the nation’s most dangerous male inmates due to his transgender status, and in accordance with gender identity policies.

Tiffany Scott, 31, born Andrew Burns, is one of only around 100 offenders in Scotland subject to an Order for Lifelong Restriction (OLR). The order means that, regardless of his sentence length, he will only be released when he is no longer considered an “unmanageable risk to public safety.”

Burns was initially sentenced for multiple convictions of assaults, vandalism, and resisting arrests. In 2010, he assaulted a nurse in a hospital in Crewe, Cheshire while he was still known under his male name. In 2015, Burns assaulted prison officers, including two female staff, during a “dirty protest” at Glenochil Prison, Clackmannanshire. One of the women Burns assaulted was a jail nurse whom he struck on the back with a chair. He began identifying as transgender and changed his name to Tiffany Scott sometime in 2016.

In 2017, Burns was put on trial for the incidents that occurred while he was in prison, but the case was initially dropped as he was considered “too dangerous for the dock.” It was later re-tried after outrage from prison union officials.

In response to increased public scrutiny of the impact of gender identity policies on women’s rights, particularly in regards to the prison system, female prison officials told the Daily Record that they felt as though their rights “went out the window” when they were forced to carry out intimate strip-searches on the volatile inmate.

Female staff were obligated to conduct full body searches on Burns at HMP Low Moss, near Glasgow, after his legally recorded sex was altered from “male” to “female” in prison records. However, one insider told the press that “nothing else about Scott has changed physically,” and women officers who refused to do the searches were obligated to submit their reasons for abstaining in writing.

Despite his lengthy history of violence, Burns was approved for a transfer to a women’s correctional facility. The move was blocked after the Record revealed the intentions of the Scottish Prison Service.

One whistle-blower explained that several female prison staff have repeatedly refused to perform the searches on Burns, who has male anatomy, and voiced concerns for the safety of women employed at the prison after Burns had a “meltdown” once he learned of the prohibition of his transfer.

A Low Moss officer who chose to remain anonymous told the Record: 

“This all started last summer when the PR2 system (Prisoner Records) suddenly designated Scott to be a woman, several years after changing [his] name to Tiffany Scott. Up to then a woman would not have been asked to search the lower half during a full body search, obviously because it would have been totally inappropriate to ask a woman to do that.”

“But from one day to the next it became inappropriate for male officers to do the searches – and the human rights of the female staff went out the window. It’s mad because nothing else about Scott has changed physically,” the prison insider added.

Using feminine pronouns for Burns, the officer continued: “She still has the same male parts and several women therefore refused to search Scott. They’ve been told they have to write up their reasons in a paper and submit it to bosses.”

“We keep hearing about trans prisoners’ rights – but surely there is a bigger issue with the rights of female prison staff?”

Burns is the fourth violent male offender in Scotland to make headlines for identifying as transgender since the start of the year.

On January 15, a serial rapist who targeted women in changing rooms and restrooms had reportedly begun identifying as transgender and seeking transfer to a women’s prison. Jonathon Mallon, 40, was sentenced to life in prison in 2014 on a slew of rape charges. He has now begun referring to himself as “Charlene” and has allegedly been “bragging” that he will be in a women’s prison by the spring.

Days later, it was revealed that an incarcerated sex offender who abducted and raped his care worker had begun claiming to identify as a “woman,” and demanding cosmetics and a transfer to a women’s institution. 

Albert Caballero, 50, is currently detained at Edinburgh Saughton Prison, where he has served half of his sentence and is eligible to apply for parole. But Caballero is reportedly now boasting to fellow inmates that he will be transferred to a women’s prison prior to his release after abruptly claiming a transgender identity. Now calling himself “Claire,” Caballero has been demanding red lipstick from the prison.

The shockwaves didn’t end there, as yet another violent male was green-stamped for transfer to a women’s prison awaiting sentencing on multiple convictions rape. On January 24, it was reported that Adam Graham, also known as Isla Bryson, was sent to a women’s facility. The public backlash was so severe that the Scottish government quickly walked back the decision and transferred Graham to a men’s facility.
