WRONG EVERY TIME
This blog is run by someone only known as “Bobduh.” His blog has a funny name but you have to admit it helps increase their following and level of engagement. The blog offers reviews of anime as well as long-form criticism of popular Japanese anime and lots of critiques and opinions. The blog focuses on Japanese cartoons as well as the art of Japanese anime. He takes a bit of a sardonic approach to many of his posts and critiques so he might be considered one of anime’s most legitimate critics, the kind that anime artists tend to fear. But he seems to try to be honest in his approach which wins him a large following. He reviews series and comedies that have made it big and some that he thinks need a resurgence. So he might even influence the future of Japanese anime in that way.

Anime Science 101
Anime Science 101 combines the best of science with the best of Japanese anime. This blog focuses on key scientific concepts that are present in Japanese animation and draws correlations between them. This blog attempts to teach scientific principles as well as to combine scientific principles to illustrate how it complements the art of Japanese animation. Several scientific categories are addressed in the blog including Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, as well as Astronomy and Space. This would be a great blog for teachers to use to show students who are interested in anime but who need some extra motivation to learn science in school. In addition to the academic applications, this blog can also help to serve as a resource for people who want to learn about animation and how science applies to this interesting field.
