Sai Yamanaka Modern lookbook + Beast Scroll tattoos (TS4 CC Download below)

☯So I was inspired by this fanart of Sai by @seoz-gets-artsy and wanted to make tattoos for my modern/cyberpunk au version of him. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

☯Made a version for Upper right arm, Upper left arm, Left leg and Right leg tattoo categories and all are base game compatible. You can have all of them installed for if you need a tattoo category for something else, or choose the one you want.

☯I struggled to get the opacity the way I wanted so included 8 swatches with slight differences (I made a gif but they look much better in game):

-Normal black and white

-Black and white, lower opacity

-Normal only black with transparent instead of white (you can see this much better on darker skin)

-Same as former, lower opacity

☯All four of these also added the same swatches using a different composition method which means it blends with the sims skin colour a bit more for example on Sai's pale skin it becomes a little bit sepia.

☯ I tested on a dark brown skin and you can see the different between the white and non white ones a lot better but the composition method thing is less noticeable:

☯Designed with male frame in mind; but I didn't restrict the frame, the seams might not align properly though on female body frame because I used the male template.

☯I used EA tattoo textures for the background, all the beast scroll images were found on google, and either fixed in photoshop by me or upscaled with AI, taken from the anime, the manga, the videogames and possibly fanart but it's hard to tell...

☯I did my best to clean up all the seams but sorry if there is still any you can see, I have checked it so many times and redone it. Also if you see strange lines on his wrists or body in the pics that is just Sai's cyberware accessory.

☯I'm sorry I haven't been making a lot of cc and I know this is only one item but editing all the animal pictures and making the tattoo actually took me a similar amount of time as my bigger sets.

Tokyo Street Fashion

Recently, I've been on a quest to reconnect with my fashion roots. It's high time to bring back the thin sparkly pink scarf paired with Claire's fingerless panda gloves. I was searching through the ancient depths of the internet all they way back in the primitive year 2008, when I stumbled across something incredible. I'm not going to tell you what it is yet, so don't get too excited. ~(‾▿‾)~ Instead, I want you to participate in a thought experiment. Picture this, you are in charge of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs "Trends in Japan" website. You're trying to come up with new engaging ways of interacting with the world wide web. You've already made a section about food, tech, pop culture, lifestyle, even fashion, all the normal stuff... but something is still missing. You're about to give up, when you suddenly trip and fall down the stairs! You tumble down all the way to the bottom, roly-polying as though you were a delicious IKEA faux meatball (or Takoyaki if you're really that committed to staying on theme). You obviously hit your head a bunch on the way down, you end up with cartoonish sparkles surrounding your head. But that's when it comes to you. The answer. The one thing missing. A government sanctioned street-style section! ✺◟(∗❛ัᴗ❛ั∗)◞✺

Okay, maybe it doesn't immediately sounds that weird. Actually it kind of does.

When you enter the Street Style section, this is the first thing you see. No clue how they found all these people, but you can click on these little faces and take a peeksy at three separate outfit-oriented pictures of them (many of which are honestly pretty feet-centric and the shoes aren't even that interesting).

I'd like to add that this image showcases an outfit that is about identical to how I used to dress in 2008. Okay... I swear I'm going somewhere with all of this. Actually I'm really not. I want to know how they found the people to be in these government sponsored fit pics, what did they have to say to them? I'm torn between thinking these are really just fashionable laypersons and thinking that these people were hired to create cute little government propaganda outfits. And I'm really left wondering why all countries don't have a street style section on their website. It would be so much easier to plan your vacation wardrobe if government sanctioned outfits were the standard. I'd love to see what the people of Austria are wearing on the daily in 2008. I did try to search for more state supported lookbooks but I came up with nothing. Sadly, this seems to be a uniquely pre-2010 Japan feature.

Because my main goal was to discover inspirational outfit posts, I guess I would say I was successful. It's missing a certain anime-loser-gamer edge that I am craving, and still desperately searching for in my quest to become the best dressed freak in all of my town. If someone has tips for how to dress like you play D&D but are actually so so cool and hot please tell me.

Sim4AReason's Lookbook Challenge

I have been really nervous about doing this. I have wanted to make a lookbook challenge for a long time, I personally love them. My absolute favorite thing to do with my sims is dressing them up and taking pictures of them. I decided to throw caution to the wind and just do it. I am sure no one will want to do it and that is fine, but I wanted to put it out there on the off chance maybe someone would like to.

Rules:

Use any sim you want if you want to do a couple do it you want to only use one sim use one. However, you start off though that is the sim/sims you will use for the duration of the challenge.

No changing the genetics of the sim/sims let's face it they are perfect how they are. Hair and eye color can be changed we all know contacts and wigs exists XD.

Get creative, you can use in-game shots, render them, photoshop them to your liking, do whatever you like to showcase the outfit.

Give credit to the amazing CC makers that take time out of their day to provide us so much joy. Links would be amazing, let's face it they worked really hard and I am sure they would love for others to see their work too.

This challenge is not only open for Sims 4 any Sims franchise can join, the more the merrier.

Each day is open to interpretation. I am not going to stifle anyone's creativity. If you are not sure though what the day is asking for just let me know I will be happy to assist you. I do not bite, I promise.

Do the days in order, or skip around and do only the ones you want to. Take all the time in the world to finish this challenge, or don't there is no pressure to complete this.

Update, small break

Sorry about not posting anything, I'm also not making any cc currently or anything related to my tumblr, I was trying to fix an error i had in s4s making a hair and in the end it is fixed but im so tired of making stuff i think im gonna take a small break, don't know for how long. Irl im studying a course that was in my mind meant to help me learn 3d modelling and animation but it is very different to what i thought, a huge waste of time so far and not at all what i thought it would be, I have a lot of work to give in to the course. For now im deciding to go along with it and see in case i give up too soon and then they teach me cool stuff.

For now i literally just want to play the sims and other games in my free time, building and making my saves in my own way without worrying about content, it's been so long since i just enjoyed them for just me. I still have unfinished cc that will eventually be released Im just not doing that right this moment. Wont leave it too long cause I don't wanna get rusty on the stuff i have learned. I also am trying to fix my CP game which i haven't played for months and now that i went back to it apparently there's been an autoupdate and now some mods are broken and i can't figure out which.

I also have been playing a lot of stardew valley and it's making me want Haunted chocolatier to come out, which is also making me want to build a chocolate/sweets factory on the sims 😂 I might eventually get inspired to just post a lookbook or even just pics of stuff i've been making but yeah i really just need my time to enjoy the games.
