Female Sociopaths in Popular Media (Part 54)
Go here for Part 1. It provides an explanation for this list. Also, check out the master list which includes analyses of all the included characters. (Some analyses still may not be completed as of yet.) If this is the first part you’ve seen, reblog one of those two posts. Otherwise, feel free to reblog this one.
My regular “problematic” contribution to International Women’s Day. I know it’s been a hot minute since I’ve been regularly posting profiles, so I’m going to try to get more done. Posting this to let you know that through the rest of Women’s History Month, I’ll try to post more female sociopath profiles as much as I can. Mostly reuploads from my main blog, but I’ll attempt to get some done that still don’t have profiles.
Pictured above:
Ren Sohma from Fruits Basket (1997-2006) and its anime adaptation (2019-2021) (voiced by Ai Orikasa (JP) and Katelyn Barr (EN))
The King of Vices from Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle
Sailor Galaxia[1] from the Sailor Moon manga (1991-1997)
Go-Jaaza-Gi (played by Sumire Aria) from Kamen Rider Kuuga (200-2001)
Dakota (played by Zoe Colletti) from Fear the Walking Dead (2015-present[2])
JGSDF Captain Risa Fukami (played by Maju Ozawa) from Kamen Rider Agito Special: A New Transformation and Project G4 (2001)
Captain Angie McHenry[3] (played by Mira Sorvino) from Stuber (2019)
Lucia from Octopath Traveler (2018)
Rhea Wits[3] from Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Case 5 - Turnabout Substitution
Nox[3] from Child of Light (2014)
[1] Thanks to @rickyriddle for recommending this one. [2] Valid as of mid-March 2022. [3] Major spoilers associated with these characters.
If you wanna help me, suggest some characters for me to include on the list by leaving a comment on any of the posts, sending an ask, or messaging me. You’ll be credited for helping me when I include them in the gallery post. If you don’t want to be credited, just ask and I’ll leave your name off the post.
Either that or help fact check my profiles on the master list. I haven’t seen a lot of the things that these characters come from, so I don’t have a lot of firsthand knowledge. If you have seen/played/read any of the works that I have included, look through the profiles and see if there are any inaccuracies I need to edit.

Waverly Meet
By Paula Hoflin
Photos provided by Angie Hunzeker
On Saturday, March 7th, the Pawnee City speech team competes at Waverly. Freshman Gavin McHenry finished 6th place in Novice Entertainment with his speech about the lifestyle of rednecks and sophomore Ashlynn Hartman competed with her ‘Impossible Burger’ speech and in Extemporaneous where she finaled and got 5th place. Stella Hunzeker, sophomore, got third place with her Entertainment speech about the ‘Sophomore Slump’.
Ashlynn Hartman commented, “It went well, especially because being at a bigger meet, I didn’t think I would final in Extemporaneous. I feel I have improved because I analyze the question more and give better sources.”
Stella Hunzeker replied, “I placed 3rd at this meeting, which was honestly surprising to me. There were so many good competitors! Throughout this speech season, I feel I have improved greatly on my energy when giving my speech. I plan to keep up that energy for Districts!”
Gavin McHenry said, “In this competition, I realized that I had a lot of jokes I didn’t even intend to put in there; people laugh the whole time. I feel like I’ve improved a lot in the last few meets.“

The Mosley Review: Stuber
Tumblr media
If you ask me, it truly has been a good while since we've had a decent buddy action comedy. Now comes this film with a fun premise and I'm glad it was made. Not only do we get some genuinely good action, but also some great comedic moments from both the leads and the others around them. Yeah sure you have the same old character types and cliche twist and turns, but you do get a fun modern take on an established genre. The story is very straight forward even though some character decisions didn't really make any sense. I did appreciate that the film was a tight 90 minutes because if this film would've gone on any longer, it would've been over indulgent.
Tumblr media
Dave Bautista has greatly improved his acting abilities and this time he gets to play the badass cop with a heart of gold, Victor. He can easily be the badass in the room, but he also gets to do some fun physical comedy in this film. Kumail Nanjiani is becoming one of my favorite comedic actors and I've followed his work for a while. His comedic timing hasn't skipped a beat and I loved him as Stu. He plays the average guy that you'd see in any romantic comedy situation and I loved the natural chemistry he has with Dave's character. The two of them truly make this film work and I enjoyed watching them together as things get bloody around them. Natalie Morales plays Vic's daughter and I liked the dynamic between them even if it was cliche. I was delighted to see Mira Sorvino back on the big screen and I thought she was good as Vic's boss Captain Angie McHenry. Iko Uwais is one of the best action stars on the planet and he does exactly that in this film. He truly gives Vic a seriously intense fight and I loved every bit of it.
Tumblr media
My only gripes with the film were that not all of the comedy works and some scenes dragged the pacing of the film. Overall, I thought the action was really fun and sometimes hilarious. The comedy was good and I loved the return of the buddy action film style, but I would say that this was just one of those fun films you don't really have to spend full price for. This was a good matinee film, but it would be even better on Netflix.

Eliza!
How I feel about this character: The character with the most development and best arc in the musical, an incredibly accomplished and strong person.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Hamliza is a great ship with a ton of growth and development, and a lot of different stages to examine and play with. In MAI I also like Eliza/Molly, and I’m really looking forward to RF’S McHenry/Eliza.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Her and her sisters are obviously the most powerful force in the world. I also think that she and John would bond over being rich bleeding hearts with questionable taste in men, and in the heavenly Hamrem they have wine and cheese club that Alex is banned from where they discuss Art.
My unpopular opinion about this character: It is possible for female characters to have more than one trait and therefore, against all odds, she was both A Mom Woman and also A Smart Woman.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.: Since she was the only daughter mentioned, I wish we had gotten to see Eliza and Angie Jr. in some way. Preferably not in the “oh saddest of tragedies, Eliza’s child was a Mentally Ill” way but in a way that acknowledged their love and their relationship.
Character asks!

JACQUELYN BENNETT --- a.k.a. the FINDER --- TAKEN!
“It was certainly a puzzle, trying to figure out how Captain America’s team escaped, but Jackie liked puzzles.”
With her mother dying from cancer when she was only three-years-old and her father unknown, Jacquelyn “Jackie” Bennett was put into state custody with the McHenry County Department of Children and Family Services in Illinois. Thankfully, Jackie was placed in a foster home with a loving, kind woman and remained under the care of Ms. Star Livingston until she aged out of the system at eighteen. Growing up, Jackie performed well in school, getting placed into an accelerated academic program during elementary school, particularly with history and social sciences. After graduating high school, Jackie enrolled at the University of Illinois in Chicago, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Criminology.
Jackie was always interested in law and first joined the Bureau of Criminal Investigations (which dealt with white collar crimes) before transferring over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Initially, she worked in the white collar division, when it was discovered she had a knack for finding people and making connections others seemed to miss. Now, at three-three, she worked mainly kidnapping cases until she was approached by General Ross.
It was a chance to be a hero, a chance to help her country and to keep the world safe… Who wouldn’t join? But the more and more Jackie finds out about Ross’ tactics and finds out about the Accords…the more she’s having her doubts.
Abilities:
Master at solving puzzles and complex cases, including making connections and finding people.
Basic hand-to-hand combat training with knowledge of Tae Kwon Do and kickboxing.
Multi-lingual (English, Greek, Spanish, German, and Arabic) and possesses an excellent visual memory.

Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Kejutan besar datang dari Iko Uwais. Usai membintangi Star Wars The Force Awakens dan Mile 22 , Iko Uwais beradu akting dengan Dave Bautista lewat film Stuber . Dave Bautista sendiri dikenal dunia lewat film Guardians of the Galaxy dan Avengers Endgame .
Stuber mengisahkan polisi Vic Manning (Dave) bersama rekannya, Sara (Karen Gillan) yang menjalankan operasi untuk menangkap penjahat kelas kakap, Oka Tedjo (Iko Uwais). Tedjo diketahui terlibat perputaran narkoba. Sayang, di tengah operasi ini Sara terbunuh. Insiden ini membuat Vic terpukul.
Perburuan terhadap Oka Tedjo lantas diambil alih agen Angie McHenry (Mira Survino). Suatu hari,

Second Speech Meet of the Season!
By Paula Hoflin
Photos provided by Mrs. Angie Hunzeker and Mrs. April McHenry
On February 8th, the Pawnee City speech team competes at Crete. Stella Hunzeker competed in Entertainment with her “Sophomore Slump” speech; Ashlynn Hartman in Persuasive with her speech about “The Impossible Burger;” and Keegan Vetrovsky, Johnna Kostecka, Alyssa Pierce, Gavin McHenry, and Jaxtyn Harvey competed together in their OID titled “After Hours.”
When asked about the competition, Alyssa Pierce said, “I felt that the meet went well for our first performance. I love acting out my characters; I love bringing out their personality through myself. I am really excited about the rest of the season, I see a lot of potential in our OID.”
Jaxtyn Harvey, freshman, explained further, “This was our very first competition, and it was kinda just to go there to get us out of our comfort zone. I love the role of the characters that I have. I just need to worry about working on some of my lines to fix the bumps in the road.”
Jaxtyn went on to say that he believed in the potential of their OID, “Being at Crete I think that it really helped out our focus on the energy levels.”
Sophomore Stella Hunzeker replied, “Placing tenth was pretty exciting, considering more than 40 kids were competing in Entertainment. My topic this year is about the ‘Sophomore Slump,’ so I've been having a lot of fun with it. I'm excited to work on my critiques this week and place well at the Auburn meet on Saturday.”
Ashlynn Hartman said, “For my first time giving my speech, it went okay; it wasn't memorized yet, so the judges did not like that very much.” Ashlynn's speech is about the controversial Impossible Burger. She went on to explain her choice, “I picked this topic because it is relevant to this day and alarmed me with some of the dangers.” Ashlynn went on to say that she is very excited to get her speech polished and memorized, and then hopefully bring home some hardware.
Speech coach, Mrs. Bloss, commented, “Stella got 10th, and it was a great first competition for the others. The season hasn't been going on for long enough to witness any big growth leaps yet, but we will.”
