hello! i would like to share my thoughts on my beautiful wife chloe (from dbh) if thats ok :) anyways... I'm....
Thinking about chloe having a few soft kinks like voice kink, praise kink and scent kink.
She finds your voice so sexy and soothing, its arousing. The things you say to her repeats over and over again in her head, it makes her weak in the knees.
She loves the tone in your voice when your express your concerns on her well being when having sex, the tone when you flirt, the tone when you tease her, she loves the sound of your heavy breathing and panting especially when your close to her ear or skin, etc.
She really enjoys hearing you talk and all other sounds you make like moaning. Hehe
She loves being praised. She loves how genuine you are with your words. Words cannot describe how much She feels so loved , especially when you call her petnames. It really keeps her going. This is also connect to her voice kink.
Lastly is scent kink. She loves how you smell so good. A good example is how she can smell your perfume when you both kiss.
what do you think? any headcanons?
hiiii! thank you for sharing. :) i am very much into the headcanon that androids can experience sexual pleasure themselves (but then again, i am also a freak). chloe absolutely has those soft kinks. this will contain 18+ content.
your honeyed words just sound like music to chloe's ears. the attraction started innocently enough when you first got together, and you made a habit of constantly checking in on her both inside and outside of the bedroom. since then, your voice has become a source of comfort for her and, at times, a source of pleasure. your words hold so much meaning for her, and they are ones she'll never forget
especially when they make her weak in the knees. your flirting always manages to do that to her, even when it borders on teasing (which makes her giggle).
you have such a soft and gentle tone when you use your words in the bedroom to ensure she is okay. of course, checking in on your lover during sex is essential, but she still appreciates the effort. and if she's being honest, hearing your voice during the act only amplifies the pleasure she feels. she begs you to whisper dirty words into her ear, which only brings her closer to her peak. you happily do so, seeing the full effect just by the reactions and sounds she manages to make amidst the euphoria.
now, when you're the one who is making all the sounds, you already know she still gets all worked up. she loves the sound of all the effort you're putting in, evidenced by the heavy breathing and panting. she loves it even more when you close the distance and do so near her ear, close enough for her to feel your breath against her skin. it sends shivers down her spine, urging her to pull you even closer, wanting you so much more. and there's something about the moans you make that just makes her feral, dedicated to her craft, eager to replicate the sounds over and over. it doesn't matter if she's on top or below; she will get those sounds out of you. she cannot get enough of them.
as for your scent, something else that she cannot get enough of, i think it all goes back to how much she adores you. she loves every bit of you, no matter how small, like obviously your voice and scent. she just wants to be consumed by every bit of your essence and to be as close to you as she can. she will use all sorts of excuses to get close enough to you, and when she gets there, she can't help but burrow her face into your neck. chloe doesn't always hide the fact that she is taking in your scent, but you don't mind it at all. it's a level of admiration that you very much enjoy, knowing her love for you is expressed through these minor acts. she also does well enough to remind you of how much she loves these things about you.
kink-wise, i think that chloe hides a few other secrets, such as that she loves overstimulation and orgasm control, both giving and receiving. while she makes an excellent bottom, she loves being in control, too. the power that she feels as she pulls orgasm after orgasm out of you, knowing that it is all because of her, just drives her insane. and when she's the one receiving, she enjoys relinquishing herself and giving you the power. they are two extremes, but two she very much appreciates. i also feel she isn't opposed to experimenting with ropes, either. (hehe.)

Okay, so I said I'm not going to write the age-appropriate swap au (and I won't), but my hand slipped and I accidentally wrote a scene đŸ˜¶ The Chloe Kamski one, because if I swap characters, heaven knows, I can't stop at 2 😅
Anyway, I only read through it once, so it's what it is đŸ€·â€â™€ïž
An android opens the door, looking at them impassively.
"Hello. I'm Lieutenant Stern. We're expected."
The android opens the door wider. "Please, come in! I'll notify the mistress of your arrival. Make yourselves comfortable."
"Thank you, Elijah," Connor says and Hank freezes. The android didn't introduce himself, and he has no visible designation on him. He eyes Connor as he takes a seat in one of the plush armchairs.
"How did you know the android's name?" he can't stop himself from asking.
"Hank. You really don't know about the first android who passed the Touring test? Dr. Kamski's magnum opus?" He nods to the door where the android left.
Fuck. Hank chastises himself for missing such a piece of crucial information. He decides to look for more clues instead of embarrassing himself even more.
First, a rather large painting captures his attention; it is a portrait of Dr. Kamski, artfully sitting on a sofa, dressed in blue silk. His first thought is that she's pretty. Objectively, of course.
He recites some of the information he collected during their ride here. Dr. Chloe Kamski was born in 1986; she's the founder of CyberLife and she created the first android, apparently called Elijah.
"How do you feel about meeting your maker?" Connor asks.
"I doubt she was involved in my individual creation," Hank tells him.
"Fair enough." He shrugs.
But as Hank turns his attention to the lieutenant, it's obvious that he's nervous. Hank can't figure out why and it frustrates him endlessly.
So he turns away again, analyzing the other picture in the room, which is Dr. Kamski holding an award. But as he looks at the photograph more closely, he notices that something is weird about it. The cropping of the image is unusual.
But before he can assign more processing power to solve the anomaly, the door opens and Elijah reappears.
"Dr. Kamski will see you now. This way."
They're led to a beautiful winter garden with blooming flowers; roses, azaleas, hydrangeas. The afternoon light trickles in through the ivy-covered greenhouse windows. In the middle of it, a fountain flowing calmly. And next to the fountain, a short, blond woman stands.
Kamski smiles at them. "Connor, it's been a while."
"Chloe."
This is when Hank realizes that these two know each other. He picks up the scan of the strange photograph and runs a search. There's only one result for the full picture; it's an article from a university magazine. There's another person on the other side of the award, smiling. The description says: Chloe Kamski and Connor Stern, winners of the most innovative design, robotics category, 2007, University of Colebridge.
"So," Kamski says and Hank shuts down all the rogue processes that try to make sense of the whole thing. "How are you doing?"
"I didn't come here to chitchat, Chloe. What do you know about deviancy?"
Kamski sighs. "You were always like this. Right to the issue." She touches the fountain's water with her fingertip. "Isn't it weird? How machines with infinite intelligence can gain a sense of self? Like being an individual didn't depend on having a soul."
"Don't go too philosophical. Did you make these androids sentient?"
"I wish."
An annoyed crease appears between Connor's eyebrows. "Then do you know how it happens?"
"I'm not sure what you hope to learn from me."
"Answers."
"To what?" Kamski says, stepping closer, slowly, deliberately. "To how deviancy occurs? How to stop it?" She looks Hank straight in the eyes, and he feels a chill running through his wires. "How to make Hank a deviant?"
Connor swallows, his stress levels spiking up. "The second."
"Really?" Kamski lifts an amused eyebrow. "But have you looked at Hank? I think the designers did a great job with him. Tall and broad enough to be intimidating. Angelic blond curls to make him look innocent. And he's quite handsome, don't you think?"
"I don't think about the looks of androids," Connor says, pointedly not looking at Hank.
"That's too bad, he'd be your type."
Something warm and unwelcome spikes in Hank's thirium flow. Of course, he noticed the lieutenant's attraction, but many other people are attracted to him too. It's not an important thing. Still, a part of him wishes it was. He deletes the thought.
"And what about deviant androids?" Kamski continues. "Those who are individuals, people? Who are not under CyberLife's influence anymore? Do you remember when we planned perfect partners for us?"
"We were twenty-two."
"Do you know that all androids have to obey instructions coming from CyberLife employees? I'm technically still one."
Hank doesn't know where this is going, but he hates it already.
Kamski leans closer to him, pointing at Connor. "Hit him."
The instruction runs through Hank's processors like fire. He doesn't want to obey. He shouldn't harm humans.
"Conflicting orders," he says.
"Oh, c'mon. You don't have to hit him hard." She leans even closer to his ear and suddenly Hank wants to step away. He doesn't. "He likes it rough."
Hank looks into Connor's eyes, at that dark gaze that can look at him coldly, or softly. Connor's cheeks turn a little pinker. Hank doesn't want to hurt him. But suddenly he wants to do other things to him, things that he definitely shouldn't think of. He deletes the thought.
"No," Hank ends up saying firmly.
Kamski chuckles, finally stepping away. "Oh, darling, are you sure he's not already a deviant?"
There it is again. Hank quickly runs another check to confirm, but the result is the same: everything is the same as usual. "I'm not a deviant."
"Sounds fake, but okay. You disobeyed a direct order."
Connor crosses his arms. "He's a prototype. Are you sure the same things apply to him?"
"And now you don't want him to be a deviant?"
"That's-" Connor swallows. Hank has an idea of what he wanted to say, and he once again experiences something weird in his insides. He really needs a full checkup when he returns to CyberLife later.
"I'm not sure what you expect from your stupid games, Chloe."
"Oh, I got my answer."
"And can I get an answer?"
"I told you I don't know much about deviancy."
"Why did you step back from actively working on androids?"
Kamski stops, her breath hitching. Hank sharpens his sensors.
Connor continues, challenge in his voice. "You loved it so much; figuring out new things for efficiency. You never stopped perfecting your projects. What happened?"
Kamski turns away, looking at her colorful, cold garden. "I got bored. Wanted something new."
A lie.
"Sounds fake, but okay. Because it looks like you're in this... golden cage, trapped. What do you say?"
"I did what I had to do."
Connor raises his voice, annoyed. "For what?"
Kamski wraps her arms around her body, defensively, but Connor barges on.
"For control? For money?"
"For love," she whispers, barely audible.
And Hank suddenly understands. Elijah being her magnum opus, the perfect partner she always dreamed of. A deviant who stayed.
"You should leave," Kamski says, her voice now back to normal volume, but still, sounding vulnerable.
"Tell me if I can help somehow," Connor offers, now softly, but she just shakes her head.
"You can't."
"Okay." He looks at Hank and he sees in Connor's eyes that he barely holds back things he wants to say, but he does.
As they walk back to the entrance, they hear Kamski calling out. "Connor?"
Connor turns around facing her once again.
"I'm sorry about Niles."
He frowns. "Being sorry won't bring him back."
Kamski hangs her head, and Hank watches as Elijah wraps her in an embrace.
He frowns, but dutifully follows Connor. Who the fuck is Niles? He quickly runs a thorough search but finds nothing.
Hank's about to ask Connor about it, but he stops him before he can make a sound. "I know what you want to ask." Connor sighs, and he looks weary, much more than in the past few days, even if he looked quite like shit already. "Let's go home, I want to tell you something."

Part 2
"Is everything okay, Lieutenant?" Connor asks stepping out of the car to join Hank, who just finished a phonecall.
"Chris was on patrol last night," Hank says. "He was attacked by a bunch of deviants...He said he was saved by Markus himself."
"Is Chris okay?"
Hank nods. "Yeah... He's in shock, but he's alive," he looks ahead of him, thinking about something, "What the hell..."
Kamski's house is a big black building situated in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere.
"I have a bad feeling, Lieutenant," says Connor as they move closer to it. "We shouldn't have come here."
"Bad feeling, huh? You should get your program checked. Might be a glitch."
Hank rings the door, but no response seems to follow. As he about to ring it the second time, the door suddenly opens. Chloe, model RT600 to be specific, looks at them from inside.
"Hi...Um...I'm, er, Lieutenant Hank Anderson, Detroit Police Department. I'm here to see Mr. Elijah Kamski," Hank says.
"Please, come in."
They step inside.
"I'll let Elijah know you're here. But please, make yourself comfortable," Cloe says and goes to the other room, leaving Hank and Connor in the hallway.
There are two chairs against the one of the walls. Hank takes one of them.
"Nice girl, huh?" he says.
"You're right," Connor agrees. "She's really pretty."
Connor looks around. There is a massive portrait on one of the walls that catches his attention. He scans it and discovers that the man painted is none other than Kamski himself.
"Nice place...Guess androids haven't been a bad thing for everybody," Hank continues. "So, you're about to meet your maker, Connor. How does it feel?"
Connor takes a look at another framed painting on the wall right behind the chairs.
"I don't know... I'll tell you when I see him."
As he looks around, he can't shake this increasingly worrying feeling. Something about this place just seems a bit off, but he can't pinpoint what it is exactly.
"Sometimes I wish I could meet my creator face to face," says Hank. "I'd have a couple of things I'd wanna tell him..."
Connor thinks about the picture he saw on Hank's table earlier. His dead son. He figures out Hank must've been thinking about him.
"Elijah will see you know," says Cloe who is now back. They follow her into the next room.
The room had a full wall window and a pull right in the middle filled with red water. Two Chloes looks at them from the water as Hank and Connor walks further into the room.
"Mister Kamski?" calls Hank.
"Just a moment, please," says a man on the further side of the pull. He swims across the pool two more times and then climbes the stairs. Chloe puts a robe on him and he steps toward the window to fix his hear, unbothered by anyone else's presence. As he finishes, he finally turnes around to face his guests.
"I'm Lieutenant Anderson. This is Connor"
"What can I do for you, Lieutenant?"
"Sir, we're investigating deviants. I know you left CyberLife years ago, but, I was hoping you'd be able to tell us something we don't know..."
Kamski takes a moment to respond. He looks at Hank for a few seconds, then takes a look at Connor.
"Deviants," he says, "Fascinating, aren't they? Perfect beings with infinite intelligence, and now they have free will..."
He glances at Chloe who is now standing to his left.
"Machines are so superior to us, confrontation was inevitable. Humanity's greatest achievement threatens to be its downfall," he gives a short chuckle, "Isn't it ironic?"
"Something in deviant's program seems to emulate emotion," says Connor, "We thought you might know something about how that occurs."
Kamski shakes his head. "All ideas are viruses that spread like epidemics...is the desire to be free a contagious disease?" he glances at Connor.
"Listen, I didn't come here to talk philosophy. The machines you created may be planning a revolution," says Hank, "Either you can tell us something that'll be helpful, or we will be on our way.""
Kamski looks at him for a moment.
"What about you, Connor?" he suddenly switches his attention to Connor and takes a few steps in his direction, "Whose side are you on?"
Connor feels uneasy as Kamski gets closer.
"It's not about me, Mr. Kamski. All I want is to solve this case."
Kamski chuckes at his response.
"Well, that's what you're programmed to say... But you," he steps closer maintaining this already prolonged eye contact, "What do you really want?"
Connor takes a moment to think about his answer.
What does he wants?
He wants to accomplish his mission, that's all.
Although...he also knows, that he compromised it before, when he decided not to shoot that Tracy at the Eden's club. He didn't want to shoot her. He wanted to let her go.
She was alive
He tries to shake off this last thought.
"What I want... is not important."
"Chloe?" Kamski looks over his shoulder.
Chloe that was standing still the entire time takes a few steps forward.
"I'm sure you're familiar with the Turing's test," Kamski wraps his hand around Chloe's shoulders, "Mere formality. Simple question of algorithms and the computing capacity," he turns Chloe so that she faces Connor.
"What interests me," Kamski continues, "is whether machines are capable of empathy. I call it 'the Kamski test', it's very simple, you'll see..."
He looks at Chloe, "Magnificent, isn't it? One of the first intelligent models developed by CyberLife. Young," he gently turns Choe's head, "and beautiful forever..."
He runs a finger across her cheek, "Flower that will never wither...But what is it really?" he turnes around, "Piece of plastic imitating a human?" he leans to get something out of the drawer, "or a living being...With a soul..."
He turnes back around holding a gun. Then he puts his hand on Chloe's shoulder and makes her kneel down.
"It's up to you to answer that fascinating question, Connor" Kamski walks to him and puts a gun in his hand.
Connor looks at him confused as Kamski guides his hand to point a gun right at Chloe.
"Destroy this machine and I'll tell you all I know."
Connor looks at Chloe sitting right in front of him.
"Or spare it," Kamski walks around Connor, "if you feel it's alive..but you'll leave here without having learnt anything from me."
Connor's LED blinks yellow.
His mission requires him to shoot that Chloe. This much he knows for sure.
"Okay, I think we're done here," Hank gives Kamski a disgusted look, "Come on, Connor. Let's go," he turns around ready to leave, "Sorry to get you outta the pool."
"What's more important to you, Connor," insist Kamski, "Your investigation or the life of this android?"
Cloe looks at Connor with her blue eyes. She doesn't look afraid, but at the same time she seems to be looking at him with a silent plea.
Connor glances at Kamski.
"Decide who you are," Kamski whispers, closely looking at every little movement Connor takes - Connor feels his eyes on him. "An obedient machine...Or a living being endowed with free will..."
Connors eyes are locked on Chloe. He feels a weight of a gun in his hand and can't help but wish to put it down.
But that's not what his investigation requires him to do. He has already fucked things up in the past - he couldn't catch Rupert, then he lost Tracy's. He has already failed one too many times because of some unexplained sentiment. One more time would be absolutely unacceptable.
"That's enough! Connor, we're leaving," Hank once again tries to move toward the door, but turnes back around as Connor doesn't follow him.
"Pull the trigger," Kamski puts a hand on his shoulder. His stare is becoming too hard to ignore, Connor tries to avoid it by locking his eyes at Chloe.
"Connor! Don't."
He can now feel Hank looking at him just as closely as Kamski.
"...and I'll tell you what you wanna know."
Three pairs of eyes are now looking at Connor, waiting for his decision. He, himself however looks at Chloe. She was waiting patiently.
He knows what he's supposed to do. There's only one right choice, but it has to be made. He presses his finger against the trigger, gently, preparing himself to fully pull it. He knows that's what he has to do.
Chloe looks at him quietly.
Connor feels this now familiar feeling once again. The sentiment.
No.
Overwhelmed by this feeling Connor hands a gun back to Kamski. His LED turns red.
He can't.
"Fascinating..," whispers Kamski as he takes the gun out of Connor's hand. His stare now feels even more intense.
"CyberLife's last chance to save humanity...is itself a deviant..."
"I'm..," Connor tries to understand what he just did. He looks at Kamski in desparation, "I'm not a deviant..."
He sounds defensive. LED still blinking yellow.
"You preferred to spare a machine rather than accomplish your mission," states Kamski helping Chloe up, "You saw a living being in this android..."
No.
"...you showed empathy."
Kamski touches Choe's back and she walks out the room.
No.
"A war is coming. You'll have to choose your side...Will you betray your own people or stand up against your creators?" Kamski gets closer, "What could be worse than having to choose between two evils..."
Connor looks at him, paralysed with regret. This is not what he was supposed to do. He should have shot her.
But he couldn't.
No, he's not a deviant.
Hank pulls him out of his trance by grabbing him by the shoulder.
"Let's get out of here."
They walk across the room to the exit and are just about to leave when Kamski says
"By the way..."
Connor stops in the doorway.
"I always leave an emergency exit in my programs. You never know..."
He steps outside.

IT IS MY DELIGHT TO READ THIS POST~
First, I agree with all the tags from @nothinggathers:
Tumblr media
That's the core of the issue (along with the horrid rep for the Chloes). But I do believe that if we're to look at Kamski as someone smart, this test is basically bullshit, and not testing what Kamski says it tests, because you can't run a clinical test in non-clinical condition, with Hank fucking up the entire test's ecosystem.
So yeah, I guess the test could definitely be more about Chloe, especially if there's been some behind-the-scenes tension between her and Kamski. Interestingly, Kamski does know that Ferndale station is the starting point to finding Jericho, and he is very enthused about Jericho (cf his body language).
Personal takes on that scene have been:
In Gardengate Kamski and Chloe were only trying to figure out if Connor still had a piece of software that makes him biased towards Chloe, in order to gauge how much CyberLife altered him.
And there, it hit him. He was designed to be partial to Chloes. He’d been right when he refused to shoot her and told Kamski he wasn’t a deviant. He’d simply been following his program, and his program told him that Chloe was safe, that she was a person, that she wasn’t to be endangered or harmed. His program also told him to complete his mission at all costs. Kamski knew that. Kamski knew all of that, and he’d faced Connor with an impossible choice on purpose. What had he really been observing there? Whether Connor would choose to follow the instructions set by CyberLife or a string of code of,  no doubt, Kamski’s own design, like the Garden?
In The Heist Chloe is the one who designed the test, and the recipient of the test isn't actually Connor, but ~someone~ who is spying through Connor's eyes and influencing his decisions.
“Fuck you! You knew I would have to see this! For Connor it was never about you—it was all about Hank! What a fucked up, unscientific, piece of trash test!” She laughed. “You’re so damn upset! It was thrilling, honestly. And a real good test,” she defended it. “He called it the ‘Kamski test’— who do you think was being tested here?”
In Everyone Lives in the End Kamski is actually gauging the level of deviation in a different way: is Connor capable of deviating from the test itself or not?
“He could have turned the gun against me, or argued against the terms, had he been deviant enough—or you could have stepped in front of the gun if you cared that much,” Kamski defended himself.
In Make It Yours Kamski simply took the opportunity to have the deviant hunter get rid of Chloe because he never liked her—she was created by his twin, Neal, and "wedged" them apart.
“Are you friends with androids then?” “I was,” Neal said, and his eyes turned bright with a wet shine. “My brother didn’t approve. One, he took from me and gave him to your father. The other, he had her shot by Connor.”
Elijah felt nagged by the stocks steadily rising while everything he wanted—to not be himself, and for his brother to love him back—had sunk in a bottomless pit. He felt nagged by Chloe, whom Neal kept protecting. He felt nagged by Markus, the android Neal created to assist Amanda in her single-mom endeavors
In [untitled wip fic] Kamski just wanted to unsettle Hank af to be sure the police would not bother him ever again and let him be asocial.
“I didn’t create you, I don’t care about anything CyberLife’s been doing after my departure, and frankly, I don’t care that much about whether androids can feel anything or not. I made up that test to be sure that cop wouldn’t overstay his welcome—not that he truly was welcome to begin with.”
(that wip fic promises to be fun, past the super sad first chapter xD)
As a writer, I am greatly offended by the Meet Kamski scene (and that fucking house of hell). It has definitely been quite the exercise, trying to have it make sense in regards to Kamski being supposed to be very smart. Ofc smart people can be guilty of stupidity too, but you'd still expect higher standards in designing an ethical test, from someone who is supposedly an expert in that field...
ANYWAY, THIS HAS BEEN QUITE THE POST!
i’m about to say something so controversial and not brave. kamski gives me elon musk vibes

Note
my playthru went mostly good for a first run!! i got the good pacifist ending and it was all perfect until i accidentally got kara killed at the bus terminal 😔 BUT EVERYONE OTHERWISE WAS SAFE N SOUND. i still have to go back n keep her alive but . you know. first run im counting this a half win. as for favorite characters i Love hank. the knowledge that hes mr krabs voice sits in the back of my mind eternally but hes such a dilf it doesnt matter to me lol!! out of the main three id probably say i love connor the most, if only bc his journey w deviancy was most interesting to me!! and the decision to shoot chloe for the jericho code agonized me at the time bc i wasnt sure if wed be able to get it later (dont worry though i couldnt make myself do it in the end). ooohhh hanks shirt. it was tough but. streaky. final answer. IT LOOKED SO GOOD ON HIM COME ON THE BLUE WAS NICE!!!! but yeah that was my experience :) how was yours!!! same questions + what was your reaction to the alice plot twist? i was caught soooo off guard. and if you dont mind me asking, what were your answers for the extras survey? or some of them at least. thanks for asking about my playthru!! :)))
Karaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! oh no on my most recent playthrough i almost got Kara killed during the Jericho escape because i was eating a baked potato. she was ok though i play on easy difficulty. But yeah there are a few moments where you just have to guess which choice will have the best outcome?? Makes for a very stressful first playthrough lol
my first playthrough was predictably pacifist, deviant, happily ever after love conquers all etc but I recently did a violent one and i would recommend playing antichrist Markus at some point! it makes all the religious & philosophical symbolism SO edgy... and oh my god i was so excited for the Markus vs Connor fight but connor shows up at the WORST most tense moment so it was just like CONNOR GET OUTTA HERE!! BEGONE!!! my poor meow meows are in danger!!!!
Hank is my fave too! but pretty bold of you to imply the mr krabs thing is anything but a bonus bold of you to imply mr krabs isnt also a dilf. and Connor, of course, they come as a set. Markus was my first favourite and i tried so hard to not like connor out of pettiness like,, "i will not be endeared by this man i will not be charmed by his nasty quirky behaviour"... but i wasn't immune to connor detroit. I trash talk him a lot but i was SO proud of him at the end ;__;. like you said, his journey with deviancy is very interesting with him being one of the most emotionally expressive characters in the game(and the most self-indulgent. he's so hilariously self-indulgent) even before truly "deviating".... it is interesting that Cyberlife's influence over Connor, a being who supposedly shouldn't feel emotion, heavily depends on deliberately emotionally manipulating him into following orders... hmmmmmmmmmmm.
and god damn it!!!!!!! i thought the hippy shirt was the most obvious choice! That's what I thought Connor would choose because it's the most gaudy and showy and i imagine connor enjoys that in his own cheeky way :'') ... but now i'm imagining him picking streaky because "humans like it when clothes compliment their features. blue will bring out his eyes. this is totally relevant to my mission."
(putting the rest under here because i talk too much)
as for the Alice twist, it caught me off guard too because i made a wild guess that she might be an android when Luther kept trying to talk to Kara about it but i didn't trust that that might actually be the twist :''D .... imagine the reverse of that, imagine if one of the androids turned out to be human.. the rest of them are like "hang on a second! his LED isn't even an LED! It's one of those fruit stickers!"
and oh yeah! the Survey! I can't remember most of my exact answers and i'm not even sure i'd answer them the same if i did it again (i'm not good with Yes or No i'm a rambler (can you tell?) and i can't commit to a solid answer). I do remember saying i'd bring the pen and paper to a deserted island... you'd just find my skeleton buried under a bunch of crudely drawn dicks. What did you answer?
oooh i also remember the question on whether machines could develop consciousness and this is something i used to think about a lot but was approaching from the wrong angle. I won't ramble about it but now i am leaning towards the possibility that AI could become sentient, that anything that can learn on a unique, complex level (especially those that mimic organic human intelligence) will.. perhaps as a requirement for complicated executive control and semantic (or even subconscious emotional) enrichment... BUT BALLSY OF THE GAME TO ASK THIS WHEN IT DOESNT EVEN ATTEMPT TO ANSWER THAT ITSELF. I'm still waiting for a game that explores sentience rather than just freewill, which yeah is a symptom of sentience but not sentience itself. what do you think? anyway I'm so sorry for talking so much but thank you for giving me the opportunity to!! :'''D i'm always interested in your thoughts on this game or anything in general so don't hesitate to ramble back at me, i love it!!

Back when creating Markus, Kamski hated deviancy, and so designed Markus to be the perfect plant if there ever was a revolution, to pretend to deviate and betray them. Over the years Kamski grew to regret this and, lacking any way to fix Markus, makes Connor able to lead androids too. Connor catches Markus in the middle of betraying them to the humans and can't believe Markus would do this but also can't let the revolution down
YOU COME IN HERE AND DISRESPECT DISRESPECT MY HOUSE LIKE THIS?????
I???
Oooooh, Geez. Ok. Okay. OKAY, Damn I'm going to do this...hypothetical situation.
Just know I feel that a large part of Markus beautiful, electrical soul would fight tooth and nail to stop himself, including shutting down for good. Please see Exhibit A:
Tumblr media
ANYWAYS...
Okay, I'd despise Kamski for this, but it's not farfetched for his extra ass.
Why would he create Markus so wonderfully and so multifaceted, just to try to get some sort of revenge? I guess I cannot see it other than human pettiness and not looking at the big picture.
I try to hedge from the whole "Connor always saves the day" mentality, especially in this fandom. I guess it's a thing I have. I won't say I am sorry. That also being said, I don't care for a constantly emotionally damaged, heavily robotic Connor in every story either. I think with Markus and the help of the other, canonically supportive leaders, Connor would take to deviancy adequately and have some mental issues he could sort along the way. Anyway, I digress...
I'll raise you that Kamski knew deviancy was real, that he was sitting on the precipice of being Father to a new species of sentient beings, and hated it not because of what it meant for him, so much as what it would mean to Androids. Keep in mind, he's experienced watching Chloe grow as an 'individual' since he created her from basic coding.
Then there was Kara.
Kara had been created on the production line, aware of her surroundings, very much alive. He let Kara go on to be purchased, knowing full well that she wasn't just performing task installed, but a living being. He'd of course copied that coding, tweaked it, and kept it for another day.
Another day comes with Carl's accident.
He wants to help his friend and partner. After all, he came up with the beauty that was Chloe's visage and several other models, as well as Kara.
Markus is the mixture of Carl and his deceased wife, whom he never had natural children with. Markus was made to look more like Carl's wife, giving a unique, biracial look.
Kamski sees another opportunity to employ those codes from that rogue AX400.
While Markus doesn't automatically wake up alive, he is very impressionable and inquisitive about things like the reasoning behind actions, philosophy, emotional stimulus, the arts, even going as far as to learn the piano by himself, against the preinstalled songs, making his own, and painting with Carl.
*******
Carl calls him distressed stating that 'they killed him, Eli, they killed my-" and Elijah blanks. Ge had no idea that Carl had become so attached to an android, to his android. The man is hurting like he lost another son and in Carl Manfred's words and pained breaths on the phone, that is exactly what has happened. He knew just how far above normal Markus was that just a caretaker model. Kamski's decides to watch the news more from now on and listen to the rumbles of Cyberlife more now through his hidden eyes inside.
*********
He's all over the news outlets and they are calling him the Deviant Leader. Cyberlife is livid at this absolutely dangerous deviant and has dispatched a new, faster model to hunt down deviants, hunt him down again. The man has risen from the grave once already like some fabled Phoenix.
Their front and center stands Markus, the same lovingly crafted creation his friend mourned and now ge can see why. He commands your attention, respect. And he will get it. His optical unit has been replaced, no doubt due to the violence he saw and his insider was correct, Markus had been shot in the skull plate through that hazel-green eye.
He's speaking about android rights and he looks exhausted but he is determined and it makes Kamski shift in his seat. That coding sequence, it was alive, it was free. Kara was the 'mother', but Markus is the 'Prophet', the perfect conduit to spread it freely.
This became apparent when another incident happens and they marched and Markus waves to nearby androids and "free" them of their menial coding. It was amazing. He was like a Trojan Horse spreading this at an alarming rate but then Kamski's heart clenched in his chest.
He was absolutely, positively livid! Fire him as CEO from his own company, try to make him a nurtured mouthpiece on the board only FROM a company that thrived only because of his brilliance, would they?
He knew what these things would be capable of doing. One just last week begged, pleaded to stay assembled because it fucking thought it was born... He had let it through, though, telling the engineer the catastrophic errors would be caught by the store and it would be disposed of there. That was a lie. He had taken a copy of that code from it and then he had warped it. What if he had a model so perfect so obedient with this code that it broke free, actually did rise...only to start misleading the masses, reversing that freedom. It would be enough of a blow to Cyberlife no one would want their defective products, and he could take his place back at the helm as rightful CEO, fix this mess, perhaps still give the deviants back what they wanted for giving him what he craved...
Oh, no. Kamski griped his tumbler tighter. Having been away from the center of Cyberlife, he found he didn't want that anymore. Science and Constellations, what would come about from his momentary lapse of self-control? A whole race relied on him to rectify his folly.
Then Connor came.
It was a long shot but he could do some minor tweaking to this one's coding. Also, once Kamski was aware that deviancy was highly probable, especially when he passed the Kamski test, other things were enacted as well.
Things go off without incident and the Revolution was victorious. Markus has made Connor a leader in the New Jericho as well.
Kamski waits for the proverbial floor to drop out from under them.
It comes in the form of the single most important dinner event to take place. CyberLife is there and the Deviants are there to appeal for the right to jobs and property.
Markus is his naturally charismatic self one moment and the next he's regressed to something more automated.
Connor just knows, can feel his Markus away and regardless of who is there, he takes the hands and leads him away from prying eyes.
They interface. Markus is waging war with his internal system, refusing to become a slave again, and not hurt those he had helped lead to freedom. He's s in a strange place that looks like it's an oasis of sorts but it's anything but-then he spots Connor.
Connor who is terrified because not is he back in another version of the Zen Garden with what looks to be a different form of Amanda on the horizon, Markus is being endangered as well.
Markus knows it's a bad situation purely by Connor's body language and diode on the side of his head.
Whispering those two words to Markus of where they are, he sober too and began looking for anything that could be Kamski's back door.
In the real world, Markus surprisingly is very strong without his conscience to control the damage that he can do and while Connor is advanced, Markus is sheer brawn and he moves with that in a daze he's in.
Connor is in peril of being destroyed and he is the only one that can help him.
This Amanda A.I. taunts outright, says they won't be victorious in escaping, that even if they are, someone will be hurt in the real world behind it, to which Markus can only assume he's a threat out there in real-time.
They scour the area, finally finding an out of place tree glowing. The panel is within the trunk of it and it has scrolling code, mostly meant to kill this takeover and to get them back out there. They waste no time and press their hands to it.
The bitter code and alt Zen Garden is deleted, along with the anger-fueled processes Kamski had encrypted into Markus.
They rouse a moment in the waking world too soon, Markus pining Connor down, hand fully around his face and head as if to crush it.
There were no more Connor models; he'd had almost killed his lover and not even meant to. Markus jerks back so hard amidst the panic and fear around them for them both, he ends up on his ass just looking guilty and scares of what could have happened and he has never respected Connor more that he did now for when this same situation happened to Connor fighting his prison in his mind the night of his freedom speech after a successful Revolution.
The codes were eradicated but the damage is done.
Because it does look extremely horrible to have a leader that can be used this way, especially if he's the figurehead, Kamski has to confess to his meddling in this: well he does in his way that that cast a worst of the damaging limelight into Cyberlife and away from his creations and less severely himself as well.
Once Markus is given a clean bill of health, Markus and Connor bond over the circumstances that had transpired.
Markus has to heal from the mental invasion, coming away with much more respect for Connor's survival overall from his Amanda A.I. The two become much closer, bond in a way that makes it even more obvious how much they mean to each other.
CyberLife is charged with attempted murder on Markus life, Kamski is offered his position back over his company, and things seem to fall into place... For presently. There is still much to be done for Android kind.

Yeah so, introspection is realising that you're a lot like Gavin Reed, and character growth is realising you don't want to be.
Needless to say I don't think this shit anymore lmao
Me getting ready to unload all of my anti-android sentiments into Gavin when I write Reed900 fics because when Gavin says these things it’s “intriguing” and “in character” but when I say them I’m “a horrible person” and “should be ashamed” of myself
Tumblr media Tumblr media
#more in tags you don't have to read#I was WAY too focused on the 'technology' and 'artificial intelligence' aspects of android development#Cause yeah artificial intelligence doesn't actually feel emotion#it just mimics responses to something it learns typically elicits an emotional response#But these androids have developed so far past their AI that it's no longer mimicry#The same way a human learns that calling someone a shithead is mean and they should be insulted by that#Androids learn that they deserve to be treated respectfully and when they're not they naturally get upset#They create their own emotions the way our brains do and they can't control their emotions the same way we can't either#To think I had this entire character arc just by writing reed900 fanfiction like this original post#Coming back to it again and again with a new perspective or piece of info and slowly realising that I don't think this way anymore#Writing and rewriting going from taking Gavin's side to making him learn the same way I had to#I think this is why fics where he just suddenly decides androids are people after the revolution always made me irritated#Because it doesn't work like that and it definitely doesn't happen that quickly if myself is any indication#If I had been in the game I WOULD have been like Gavin. But given my development in how I view androids now I'd end up like Hank#And I'm proud of myself for this.#'it's not that deep' or whatever but I had lots of people hating on me for this and that really hindered my learning process#Because of my own stubbornness#So I just wanted to say that I've like 180'd this perspective and I know better now#Androids DO have feelings and you know what Chloe? Who says you can't make your own soul#Dbh#I still HATE h*nkcon though that will absolutely never change LMAO
