Prime Karening template, social media edition
My ISP continues to suck. I talked to a helpful tech support person who did what they could. That's just checking the open ticket for updates, telling me there is none, and noting how pissed off I am.
Even though my plan is to switch isps unless shit is fixed by 5 pm today, I went ahead and posted the following elsewhere on social media. Feel free to save for your own use.
--------------
Hello! I'd like to declare my negative advocacy for [crap ISP name, with a tag to their page].
[crap ISP] has jerked me around for a solid week. Something changed outside of my house that increased latency to insane levels. I've been paying money for a service I can't use.
Most of the tech support folks I've spoken with have been as helpful as possible. Since I work in IT and know how to troubleshoot, I've done some of the troubleshooting for them and provided that information in multiple phone calls. The tech support people update tickets and tell me that someone will call me or a technician will show up. With the exception of one phone call, I was ghosted EVERY TIME.
If you're [in my area], I suggest using anyone other than [crap ISP] unless you're a masochist who enjoys wasting time and money. If you're a masochist you'll be quite pleased.

Yaaaaaaaaay struggling time for about 5 days for my family to try to figure out how to get some food until the third... Already checked food pantries around. They're closed and they will give food to us we can't cook cause we went through them before (We live in a hotel and have been for a year + now) and we only have a small ass mini fridge so the food would go to waste before we can even think of touching it. I am 20+ weeks pregnant and has a 3 year old and my husband is type one diabetic. We have some sides (the like pasta and rice packets) but that's not gonna last us. Could someone PLEASE donate something to us or at least share? We were supposed to be getting paid more but the person who did our paperwork fucked it all up and we aren't getting it until the third. So please could someone help or at least share? :/ Donate to our PayPal ( toxikinsanity89 ) so we can get some food? Id be very grateful! <3 Also if anyone gives me negative comments of any kind you will be blocked. If you do not know my story what I'm going through atm then please keep your judgements to yourself. -The reason we are homeless is because our apartment was falling apart and was infested. We kept telling the new "landlords/slumlords" (turns out they didn't have their licenses) and he kept refusing to fix anything or to sign the papers that the Department of Social Services was providing to have them sign so they could get payed but kept denying yet wanted to keep bugging us for money (legally we had the right to not pay them because when he took over as the new "landlord" he kept refusing to sign legal papers). Well someone had called CPS on us (We believe it was the woman who was helping me with motherhood stuff cause NY state has that type of program for new mothers/expecting mothers and families BECAUSE it was fishy she asked "Well why not CPS They have a preventative case and they'll help ya with things you need and if you're homeless you'll be in a home in no time!" and then as soon as we got moved out she stopped being my worker....) so they came in we told them what was happening and they even got proof for us to back us up from the "landlords" and the government (Department of Social Services) moved us into a hotel then moved us into a shelter and now we are back in the hotel we were before and have been homeless for a bit over a year now... So that is why i say if you don't know my story of why we are homeless with kids please keep the negative comments to yourself because DSS is only giving us a homing budget of $650-700 for rent.... for a family of 4 (about to be 5) people... yet they think that will still help us with the situation we are in (Apartments here in NY are for like 800+; and the ones in our budget is studio and asking for only one person to move in) . Sorry if none of this makes sense/sounds scrambled. We are kind of in panic mode and stressed plus I have adhd brain and trying to explain everything I can all at once for you guys to better understand

The clear struggle in Francesca's mien did not bode well. Although Ben certainly wouldn't call this a wasted trip, if he couldn't find at least some lead to keep their edge going, then everything might be for naught.
"He said that he knows members of the king's counsel, and... and that there is a chance my execution can be stayed if my family were to pay for my freedom."
Ben perked up at that, appraising her with a glimmer of hope. "Was Winthrop serious, do you think?" he asked. "The man has more money than most families combined...could he truly be so easily swayed by monetary gain?"
It seemed absurd, but at present, it was the only real saving grace that they had. Even if the false pregnancy panned out, there was no guarantee that Winthrop and Fritz wouldn't change their minds.
"Thank you. Truly. I wish that I could repay you."
Ben flinched at that, averting his eyes and tensing his jaw. Although Francesca had shown fear and desolation before, he hadn't seen true desperation until she practically tore the dried berries from his palm, her hands shaking as she devoured half of them akin to a wild animal. And truly, did starvation not make animals of even the most civilized creatures?
"Please don't," he begged, still unable to look her in the eye. I'm the reason you are here -- I am why you're entrapped. "If anything, I am the one indebted to you. If you wish to repay me, then keep yourself alive -- alert -- sane. Don't speak unless spoken to, and even then, start limiting your responses to only a few words. Winthrop's type takes enjoyment from those who beg."
Almost prophetically, the heavy rhythm of multiple footsteps followed, and after promptly breaking away from Francesca, Ben spared her a cautious glance before looking away again, feigning a watchful pose just as the door swung open.
"What is it to be, gentlemen? Are you to kill both me and my child?"
Winthrop's eyes were dark and akin to burning coal. "I'm done with you commandeering my attentions, Mrs. Stirling," he seethed. "You are assuredly right: people in York City will be upset, should they learn of your child's death, but so long as I have Dr. Tolbridge to back up my story that it died prematurely, then there will be no reason to stay the execution. People are like sheep -- they believe whatever they're told -- and if Tolbridge and I say the damned chit died, then be rest-assured that they'll believe it!"
Ben paled, his lips flapping soundlessly. To deny the change of plans now would undoubtedly draw the wrong sort of attention, so he merely remained silent, grim and curling his hands into two tight fists.
"I recommend a tincture," Tolbridge spoke up, wiggling his bulbous nose. "Mrs. Stirling, if you drink a certain special tea, we can take care of the problem naturally. That way, we won't be forced to make a liar of Winthrop."
Tumblr media
Ben met Francesca's gaze across the room, his face ashen as he rolled his lips inward. Although he was innocent of such practices, he had certainly heard the horror stories about said tinctures, and how ingesting these volatile concoctions could lead to death -- not just for the unborn child, but the mother, as well.
"How long will this take?" Ben spoke up, feigning impatience. "You promised us an execution, swift and immediate, so what needs to happen in order for this tea to be provided?"
Tolbridge straightened, not appreciating his tone. "I have a druggist who makes my tinctures," he said. "It takes him a few days, at the earliest, since these brews require a very specific type of plant that is not readily available in the city."
Ben tried his best not to express relief. That would give him enough time to return to camp, and with any luck, speak to the Bridgertons -- if Anna had, in fact, managed to sway them into accompanying her -- to speak of a potential ransom. And if not that, then a serviceable distraction.
Winthrop waved a hand. "Fine, fine," he growled. "We're done here, gentlemen." Curling his upper lip at Francesca, he spat, "Think on your sins, rebel tripe."
As the men filed out of the room, Ben lingered only a moment, his gaze soft and pleading -- keep the faith -- as he briefly brushed her arm before passing through.
The pure disgust that fell across Ben's face perfectly depicted her own sentiments on the situation, wishing with her whole heart that the knife in her skirts could be plunged into his chest in order to end this whole ordeal. Francesca was not violent by nature, but Winthrop was certainly an exception -- The man was a monster indeed, and one that held her entire fate in his hands.
"If you've learned anything new about Winthrop or your captors -- anything that I can potentially use on the outside -- then I need to know now before they come back."
"I-" Hesitating, Francesca searched the depths of her mind for anything that Winthrop may have let slip in their talks. He had spoken of her execution, of treason, of Anthony... none of which would be of any potential use. "He... He spoke of his family. His mother does not support his lifestyle and so they are not speaking at present."
Tumblr media
What else? Surely there must be something, anything -- "He said that he knows members of the king's counsel, and... and that there is a chance my execution can be stayed if my family were to pay for my freedom," she recalled, although each fact spouted sounded as useless as the last. "I gave him names - false ones, of course - and I was a fool to think that perhaps it would grant me some leniency."
With every passing second, Francesca was acutely aware of the little time they had left, withdrawing her grip on his sleeve as she prepared for the worst. All there was to do was wait, and yet as Ben pulled out the berries, a drowning wave of gratitude enveloped her frame. As simple as they may be, such fruits were a feast in her eyes, her gaze wide and imploring as she clumsily reached out for them.
"Thank you," she murmured, unhesitating in her motions as she devoured half of them and pocketed the rest -- After all, she would need her strength later on too. At any other time, the thought of taking food from others when rations were so low would cause her some discomfort, yet priorities certainly changed for the starving. "Truly. I wish that I could repay you."
The sound of approaching footsteps caused Francesca to pitch herself backwards, wiping her mouth in case of stray remnants before clasping her hands at her front. For the briefest moment before the door opened, she allowed herself to lock eyes with Ben, a silent exchange seemingly passing between them - A comradery that she did not believe to be possible. Yet as soon as the wooden door creaked and more faces joined the fray, her eyes averted, spine stiffening once more.
"What is it to be, gentlemen? Are you to kill both me and my child?"

New Year, New Me...
If you are reading this then I have successfully tricked you into giving a damn about the change process I am undertaking... I hope its riveting.
The purpose of this blog will be for me to provide weekly updates and reflections on what is happening in my life. Some content will be darker than a block of gold chocolate, other content not so much.. Either way; whether you like it or not by reading this you're about to find out a heck of a lot about me!
New years. The time of year when some people signal the end of the holiday period, some people get ridiculously 'lit' in an attempt to leave a 'crappy' year behind and nearly everyone comes up with a list of goals and aspirations that they intend to stick with for the whole year but in reality forget about by the end if January (believe me, I'm the king of that). With that said the following is my list of hopefully unbroken promises.
Get rid of all consumer debt!
Currently as it stands I have around $9800 of consumer debt; to be fair a large portion of that is made up of credit cards that I used when I relocated for my new job in 2019. Apparently furnishing a house can be quite expensive! who knew right? The rest of it is made up of Zip Pay and Afterpay of which I probably could have waited until I had the spare money to purchase.
Before Christmas I felt a bit down and as a result I took put a small loan to buy some things that I thought would provide happiness. I get that habit from my mother. To mask her sadness she used to spend money which worked.. until she wasted thousands of dollars and ran out of money... but thats another story for another time. In hindsight its not a big deal. I make more than enough to pay it off quickly; but that's counter productive to the whole notion of a debt free 2024!
Drop down to 100KG
I have always been a big lad. Genetically my shoulders are quite broad (Thanks Grandpa) and my legs are like tree trunks from my teenage Rugby playing days. I cant count as high as the amount of times I have said "right its time to lose weight"; which usually lasts until driving home from the gym and I see that the Micky D's drive through is open.
In November 2021 before I relocated to Port Augusta from Port Lincoln I was a hefty 142KG. My diet consisted largely of 2L classic choccy milk, Noodle Bento and anything fried... Gradually through making small changes subconsciously in September 2022 I slimmed down to about 132KG. One day in September I decided id had enough. I joined the Gym as a way to get out of the house abit more; then to add the extra pressure I enlisted in the services of a Personal Trainer. We both appreciate and hate him depending on the day. At first I was going to the Gym just when I had sessions but recently I have started going 4 mornings a week at 6:30am (which anyone who knows me will testify that is a massive thing for me. Mornings can get fucked). Long story short I am down to 124KG now with the goal of hitting 100KG by the end of 2023.
Grow PokeRobbo Collectables by 10%
PokeRobbo Collectables is a business I have started. Once I'm clear of consumer debt ill be saving up a decent amount of capital to spend on Pokemon Cards and Video Games with the goal of reselling them. 10% is a modest goal one that should be easy to achieve.
Only drinking twice
Not going to be a hard one as Im not a big drinker. Anyone who has crossed paths with Drunk Alex will atest that he is an absolute blast (or Menace) depending on who you ask..
No Betting.
Ah Gambling. The silent addiction. In my opinion it is the most dangerous addiction because of how easy it is to hide. You see a meth addict or an alcoholic you can instantly tell what's up. Try doing that with a gambling addict. I bet ya 50 bucks you cant.
I've never been one to over indulge in alcohol and I've never even had a cigarette yet alone harder drugs but I have certainly felt the pinch of addiction. In the past my gambling habit has always been something that my friends knew about but only one of them knows the full extent of how bad it got at one stage (we'll call him Rick Hernandez) until now that is.
In 2018 at its worst I was spending roughly $3000 a week on sports betting.. however I was winning so I thought it was okay. Its easy to downplay how much you have spent when you walk away with more than you spent. The fact remains though. I still spent $3000 a week sometimes. Pokies have never been an issue for me. I play them occasionally ( like 20 bucks a time when i go out for dinner) but I have never really been interested by the bright lights.
In 2020 I made the decision to seek some help and also bar myself from over the counter TABs in South Australia and at the time all it did was increase my online betting. I closed all my accounts. I found friends to do it for me. The cycle continues. Until now that is.
I have enough self control that I only ever Gamble once all of my bills are paid and there is food on my table. Although the money I gamble with is my recreational or left over money when I think about all of the things I could do with that money instead its frustrating.
Either way. 2023 onwards no more sports betting.
That'll do for my first post. Ill be posting weekly updates on my progress. I dont take the above very lightly. Ill be taking life one day at a time and who knows... Maybe, Just Maybe we might make it out of 2023 alive!
Much love.

Kismet (Chapter 19): A BTS Jin Imagines Fanfic
First ever fanfic. Contains some fluff and smut. Please read sequentially as it is a long story arc. Please provide feedback! My IG is btskismet.
November 8, 1944
Jun-seok was greeted by the pleasant-looking soldier who was speaking with the woman earlier. He was taller than Jun-seok and had a nice smile. His dimples were showing and his build looked like that of a model - long legs and a long torso. If he wasn't in the military, he could be modeling suits or even come across as a lounge singer.
"Konnichiwa, Ittohei Sakurai. Watashi wa Jun-i Watanabe Nama." (Hello, Private Sakurai. I am Warrant Officer Nama Watanabe), the officer introduced himself with a bow.
Jun-seok bowed back and introduce himself with his Japanese name.
"Touma-san, it's good to have another soldier here who studied machinery very well. I've been waiting for your arrival. We badly need someone to help us repair the planes.", Watanabe said. This made Jun-seok smile as he was getting excited with the chance of looking at a fighter plane's engine.
"Has the Captain brief you on the other orders?", Watanabe inquired. Jun-seok's mood then changed to be quite serious. "Yes. I'll make sure to do what is asked.", Jun-seok replied.
Watanabe then patted Jun-seok's shoulder. "Don't worry, I will help you. I'll tell you more about the other soldiers so you know who to approach. I personally approve of this idea, even though the Captain doesn't."
Watanabe then brought Jun-seok inside the sundries shop to gather his supplies. They then walked to the barracks.
"You see, I've spoken to some of the soldiers in Akagi-san's platoon.", Watanabe expressed as they were walking side by side. "Some of the newer ones are quite scared of him and they are being forced to do what he wants. There are about half of the soldiers who are very loyal to him since they were part of his platoon from the very beginning. But there are newer ones who don't understand his orders."
Jun-seok contemplated on this for a few minutes. The newer soldiers will be easier to sway and he just needed to befriend them.
"The Captain doesn't believe that the minds of the soldiers can be changed but I do. After talking to them privately for the past few weeks, I can see that Akagi-san's hold on all of them is weakening. We just need someone to further break that hold.", Watanabe said with a harder pat on Jun-seok's shoulder when he said his last statement.
"I'll do my best, Jun-i.", he said to Watanabe.
Jun-seok suddenly had to urge to ask Watanabe about the beautiful woman he was speaking with, seeing that he seems to be the talkative type. But he hesitated. He didn't want the officer to think he had women on the brain. Next time I'll ask, he thought to himself.
------
The barracks were at least 2 kilometers away from town. It wasn't hard to walk the distance as they met more soldiers along the way. There were fields around the area with farmers picking out coffee fruits from the plants as well.
As he was looking at the fields, it made sense why the army wanted to have them converted into tarmac. They were the only expansive areas of land in the densely populated area of the town. The land was also hilly and there weren't that many long stretches of plains to build somewhere else. So, the fields had to go.
How the Major was going to convince the Mayor about giving up the fields would be a difficult task - it wouldn't be easy to take out these swaths of land, especially if the farmers needed it. He didn't see many plantations but the few he saw were really fertile as many farmers kept picking the fruits and left the field with baskets full of the fruit.
Watanabe brought him to his quarters at the barracks. He asked as to why he was staying alone and no one was bunking with him. "This is actually a storage area converted to your quarters. It's connected to the kitchen. I'm sorry if we couldn't get you a regular bunk with the other soldiers. The last rebel attack hit our existing quarters and we're still rebuilding.", Watanabe said, with a slight scratch to the back of his head.
Jun-seok was actually happy he was alone. He knew he had to connect with the soldiers of Akagi's platoon soon but for the first few days of his arrival to the country, he really wanted time for himself. He hasn't had a chance to sit down and really take all of it in ever since he arrived.
"This is good, Jun-i Watanabe. I will feel comfortable here. Does the cook stay near here too?"
Watanabe shook his head. "No, he's on the other side of the main quarters. You'll have to wait for him before you could eat. Unless you can cook..."
"I can.", Jun-seok said as he was looking at the food items inside the quarters. "If the cook needs help, I can help him out."
"Ha! Will wonders ever cease. You're a jack of all trades, Ittohei.", Watanabe said. "Let's not share that with the cook then. He's good but I know cooking is his passion and he doesn't want others to bother or compete with him. The food has been... edible with the scarce ingredients we have and we can get. Might hurt his feelings, you know, if he knew you can cook. He replaced the last one since Matsuyo-san... well..."
Jun-seok understood why Watanabe trailed off. The previous cook probably was someone dear to him if he couldn't even mention that the man died. Sadness could be seen on Watanabe's face as his fingers traced over cans of soup.
"If you have time to cook, then maybe we can all eat better. Hehe...", Watanabe said with a slight smirk to change the somber mood his silence brought.
"I'll leave you for now. Please report to my office this afternoon so you can start on knowing your tasks. I will need to check tomorrow how many planes are back for repair. I think we can bring them closer to the camp. Without the tarmac close to us, we got to be more creative in getting things done. "
"Hai, Jun-i. Domo arigato gozaimasu.", Jun-seok replied with a low bow.
-----
Jun-seok spent the rest of the day going around the barracks and the camp surrounding it. He wanted to make sure he was familiar with his surroundings. He wouldn't want to be caught in a blind spot or be trapped somewhere if an attack happened. So, he made sure he knew where the armory was at. He would be getting his service pistol tomorrow but that wasn't an assurance in case of a rebel siege.
He didn't have a chance to meet the other soldiers he was supposed to investigate and convince since they were out for rounds around the perimeter. So, he was able to enjoy dinner by himself. He had some fish and rice from the store he went to that morning and some pickled vegetables. Eating them made him miss his mother's kimchi.
-------
Jun-seok joined the squad that morning on their way to the perimeter line closest to the coffee fields.
The squad went to the storage area/his quarters that early morning and were startled to see him there. They went there to pick up supplies for the squad near the perimeter, which was also known as a hotspot for surprise rebel attacks. Jun-seok asked if he could come with them to check it out. Jun-i Watanabe went to the next town that morning to check the planes and he did say Jun-seok should wait until he finds a way to get the damaged planes closer to the barracks.
The squad agreed in having him join them as long as he helped bring the food.
Lugging a sack of rice on his back (and they made him work by giving him the heaviest bag), he came to know the small squad of 4 soldiers. They've been in the town for almost 6 months but they were originally deployed in the capital.
"Man, I feel lucky we're here now. In the capital, almost every other day, we were fighting with rebels. I hardly got any sleep when we were there. And the locals weren't as helpful or friendly than the ones here.", one of the soldiers shared.
"Yeah, Shosa's good relationship with the Mayor here is paying off. I haven't paid for much of my supplies from the merchants. They don't mind giving stuff for free. So I'm able to keep my money so I can send it back home.", another soldier shared happily in their conversation.
Jun-seok was starting to feel more at ease being assigned to this area. He experienced that nice hospitality as well yesterday. So, it wasn't just a random thing.
Even I have this unsettling task to do, at least it won't be too hard if the locals were friendly, he thought to himself. This made him feel more confident.
That confidence was about to wane soon though.
A light drizzle started and with the skies slightly dark, rain was bound to come. He felt relieved that wearing the extra jacket on top of his uniform wasn't a waste when he took it as an afterthought before he left camp.
As they approached the perimeter near the coffee fields, they heard angry shouts coming from the forested area close to the field. They couldn’t make out what was going on from afar so they decided to go into the forest.
What Jun-seok saw made his heart sink.

Loosen up. (Bodyguard!Klaus Goldstein x Reader)
Tumblr media
Requested: 66. "I like you. You're different." + 73. "You couldn't handle me even if I came with instructions." From the promt list.
Genre: Fluff/idk if this also counts as suggestive? Only if you're very innocent I guess? And if you're on tumblr then you probably aren't so nvm 😂
A/N: sorry for being so inactive lately I've been busy with studying and such so I generally couldn't find it in me to write so yeah :/ (I have a trial tomorrow so like idk pray for me 😂) but here I am! ヽ(゜~゜o)ノ Also yes I'm aware this isn't how Vincent acts and he's not filthy rich but for now we're gonna let it slide okay? Cool. 😂
(Second Person Point of View)
"That's when I decided it was time to buy my fifth car; I mean who attends their first day of college with the same old cars, right?" The man laughs. You suspected that if he stopped boasting for longer than 2 seconds, he'd suffocate and die. You kind of hoped to witness that.
It'd been 2 hours already, yet you weren't allowed to leave the party until your dad says you could. You'd even tried to convince your bodyguard to let you leave without your father knowing anything of the incident, but Klaus was far too strict and responsible; he'd never do such a reckless thing.
Yeah, sure, it's good for your dad to have found such a trustworthy employee, but when you've been stuck talking to these blatantly boring and arrogant people that only viewed you as a good deal to obtain more wealth, well, let's just say: it makes you sort of wish Klaus cared less.
However, that was not the case. In fact, while all bodyguards waited outside, Klaus remained inside -only a few feet away from you at any given time. He also seemed to always be giving you a look that could only be describe as the look a mother gives when you have people over, and she's daring you to mess anything up.
Now, you weren't the stereotypical bratty child that refuses to take over their parents' company. You knew your responsibility and always hoped to make them proud; you just weren't a big fan of the world surrounding all the important people in business. Therefore, it made you yearn for messing around from time to time.
Today was one of those days. You so desperately hoped Klaus would get off your back for even just a few moments, so you could escape the exhausting setting. But he continued with the angry-mother-glare; it almost seemed like he'd gotten the expression tattooed on his face after the endless times he had to get you out of trouble.
There was definitely a bright side to that extra attention, though. You suspected Klaus had a thing for you. After all, he was known to be very good at his job; he could easily quit and get a job less demanding with an equal pay or even a bigger pay if he wanted, but he didn't. He decides to stay with a teenage girl that enjoys pushing his buttons. He was professional, so he wouldn't say anything or let it show, but you had this feeling in your guts that he at least felt intrigued by you.
And, surely, you were ready to use this to your advantage.
You glance towards the blond at the corner of the room, ensuring he was still staring (threateningly, but still staring nevertheless). His eyebrow arches slightly, sensing you were about to do something dumb. You could almost hear him think God, what is it this time?!
You focus your attention back on the man whose name you'd forgotten about 2 seconds after he introduced himself.
"So, I heard you're staying at the hotel here for the entire duration of the event." You smile sweetly.
"Yeah, I am." He takes a sip out of his drink.
You begin flirtatiously twirling a strand of your hair. "Well, how about you take me to have a look upstairs?"
Startled by the unexpected implications of your request, he chokes on his drink and starts coughing. You try your best not to appear disgusted, giving him a smile when he's done with his coughing session.
Sure enough, he agrees and links your arms together, leading you towards the exit of the section the party was held in.
"Miss (Y/N)," Klaus speaks through gritted teeth. He wore a smile and kept his voice quiet, but there was no denying he was ready to scold you. "Where do you think you're going?"
"Upstairs." You smile, playing dumb.
"What do you mean up-" after losing his calm for a second, Klaus cuts himself off to take a deep breath and let it out before proceeding. "Would you please excuse us, Mr. Knight?" Klaus bows lightly before dragging you to an empty corner.
"You think just because you're leaving with a guest, I'll allow you to go?" Klaus whispers in annoyance.
"What? Are you jealous?" You wiggle an eyebrow at him, knowing well enough that wasn't the reason (well, not the main one, at least).
Lips pulled into a pained smile, Klaus glares. "Are you asking for an insult? I think you're abusing that service I provide for you a hundred times per minute."
"Come on, Klausie; loosen up." You poke his chest with your index finger. You knew the redhead -or Mr. Knight- was probably still waiting for you, but you couldn't care less. You wanted to stretch out the process of bugging Klaus as long as possible, since it was the only way to spend time with him. It was also fun watching his nose scrunch and his eyebrows furrow in such anger. He would try to mask his frustration, but it was obvious he had a short temper when it came to you. To put it nicely, he was done with your shit.
"Don't, under any circumstances, call me Klausie." He threatens. "And I don't need to loosen up; you need to stop being so careless!"
"Sure." Rolling your eyes, you step away from him.
Before you could take two full steps, Klaus had already grabbed your arm. "Going somewhere?"
You pull your hand away. "The bathroom. Am I not allowed to answer the call of nature either?" You raise an eyebrow questioningly.
"Touché." He raises his hands in defeat, but once you begin walking away, he follows.
"Where are you going?"
"Just ensuring you don't get any funny ideas." He shrugs.
Huffing, you decide to ignore him. Thankfully, he was only planning to stand near the door; it didn't seem too strange imagining Klaus walking in for "safety measures": the guy was crazy when it came to his job.
"Man, another pretty dress gone to waste." You sigh, looking into the mirror. The sparkling violet fabric clung onto your body till your waist then flowed freely, reaching to merely graze the floor. It was one of the dresses you really liked; you loved the way it showed your shoulder blades and only a portion of your back; it was sexy yet classy. The glittery purple was certainly your colour too! Alas, your dad would scold you for rewearing a dress more than he would scold you if you were to kill a person (as long as you've hidden the evidence well, that is). Murder can be covered up, but 'horrible fashion choices' cannot be hidden, according to your father. Sometimes you went against that, but most of the time, you just complied, even though it's an absolute waste of money.
"You're taking too long, you know that?" Klaus calls from outside, impatience clear in his voice.
You bite back a response when you realize there's something much better you could do. Quietly checking the stalls, you ensure you're 100% alone inside.
"Could there be a valid reason you're not responding to me?!"
Ignoring his question, you just scream in response. "Klaus! Klaus, help me!" You screech frantically.
The door bursts open, and Klaus steps inside aggressively. Before he could realize what's happening, you push him back against the door, slamming it behind him.
Smug about catching him off guard, you smirk at the taller male, whose body was closely pressed against yours. "Were you worried?" You tease.
"About losing my job? Yeah." He scoffs, turning his head away from you but not bothering to push you away.
"Why is it always about the job?" You tilt your head to meet his eyes again.
"Because I'm at work?" He states with a raised eyebrow, as if it sounded stupid for you to even ask that.
You run your hands gently over his chest; even through layers of clothing, you could still feel the firm muscles concealed by the black suit. "Well, maybe it's time for a break." You grin innocently.
"You do know you can't fool me, right?" He takes one of your hands away from him but doesn't let go of it.
Rolling your eyes, you move away from him. "I'm not fooling you; I want us to have fun! Neither one of us is enjoying this anyway." You cross your arms.
An unexpected response sparks excitement within you. "Well, what do you suggest we do?" You knew he was only being sarcastic, but it gave you a pathway for more methods to push his buttons and witness his reactions.
Closing the distance between both of you once more, you stand on the tip of your toes as you wrap your arms around the back of his neck. "Oh, I have a lot of suggestions." You whisper in his ear, feeling him flinch lightly at your suggestive remark. You could tell he was trying to hide it and pretend he wasn't phased, but you'd already noticed it, and he knew it.
"You're gonna get me fired." Cheeks slightly red, he turns his head away and gently parts your bodies from each other. "God, why is it so hard to handle you? It's like dealing with a troublemaking child."
"You couldn't handle me even if I came with instructions." You stick your tongue out at him. "Plus, father won't know anything if neither one of us told him." You point out what seemed to have escaped Klaus's perception of the situation.
"You want me to lie to your father." He laughs in disbelief.
"Mmhm, not quite. More like not telling him the full truth."
"That's exactly what lying is."
"No, it's not."
"Yes, it is."
"No."
"Yes."
"Okay, stop! Fine, lie! I don't know!" You fling your arms in the air out of frustration. A novel sound catches your attention, immediately flushing away the frustration. Klaus was laughing. Not sarcastically. No, a genuine laugh was echoing across the bathroom.
"I suppose it wouldn't be the worst thing if we talk a walk for some fresh air and come back." He smiles. "Just this time though!"
An uncontrollable grin spreads across your face, and you immediately throw your arms around Klaus. "Thank you!"
"You gotta stop..doing..this.." He awkwardly pats your back, careful not to touch your bare skin.
"No promises!" You shrug, before grabbing his hand and rushing outside, making your way to the exit.
"Miss (Y/N)?" You freeze in your spot. "Where are you going?"
"Oh, um.." you stutter, not expecting to have to explain yourself to your companion from earlier.
"We got an emergency call; we'll be right back." Klaus, in his usual composed state, 'explains' to Mr. Knight.
"Ah, I see." Red head may be an idiot, but he wasn't stupid. He could tell something wasn't right, but he either chose to let it slide or he just didn't care. Regardless, you were thankful. "I'll be waiting for your return then." With a smile and a bow, he left and disappeared into the crowd.
"You'll catch a cold." Klaus states, watching you twirl and run around in the chilly October weather.
You weren't cold, or maybe you didn't dislike being cold. It wasn't the type of cold to make you unable to take a few proper steps and force you to do an awkward penguin walk; rather, it was the type of cold to merely caress your skin, decorating it with goosebumps. "Don't worry; I'm alright."
"Just take my jacket. Your back and shoulders are exposed; you must be cold." He spoke with such certainty that it almost made you rethink for a few moments about whether you actually felt cold or not.
"Are you worried or are you just intimidated by how sexy I look?" You strike a pose far from seducing.
Klaus, who had his jacket held out for you, resumed walking as he put his jacket back on. "You know, on second thought, it might be a good thing if you catch a cold and stay at home for a week or so." He passes by you, leaving you and your sexy pose alone.
"Hey! That was mean!" You catch up to him.
"Nothing new, then." He shrugs, a slight smirk forcing itself onto his pink lips.
You speed up a little then turn around to face him once you're slightly ahead of him; you remain walking, but backwards this time, allowing yourself to look at him during the conversation. "How could you be mean to such a beautiful lady?" You pout.
"What beautiful lady?" He looks around, pretending to search for something.
You let out a dramatic gasp. "How could y-" Your sentence was inconveniently cut off by your stumble; or perhaps, it was a slightly convenient situation when you think about it from a different perspective: Klaus, as sharp as usual, was able to grasp your arm, preventing you from falling.
"Uh, thanks." You breathe out, nodding slightly. Once you begin to straighten yourself up, Klaus lets go of your arm, only to watch you fall to the ground immediately after. "I think my heel broke.." you frown, staring at your left shoe, now with its heel lying a few inches away.
"You think?" Klaus earns a glare, urging him to put aside the sarcasm and help you up.
"Those were such a cute pair.." you sigh, placing your arm around Klaus's shoulder for support. Your arms were already hurting due to the height difference; it was like hanging from a cliff but not quite.
Klaus places an arm around your waist. "Well, I can buy you another one. You need another pair to get back to the party anyway."
"What if I don't?"
"Don't what? Get back to the party? That's not what we agreed on! Your father-"
You cut off his rant, "We'll get back there, and I'll call dad and inform him that my heel broke; he'd immediately allow me to leave. It's already late anyway."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
######
"Yes, Klaus, I'm sure he'd let me go home if I tell him my heel broke! Of course, Klaus, there's no way he would have some other plans for me!" Your bodyguard mimicks your voice and tone (terribly), as you sit in the back of the car your dad sent with a brand new pair of shoes.
"How would I have known he would do this?!" You complain, tightening the straps of the new shoes around your ankle.
"Well, hurry up, knight dude is probably waiting for you." Arms crossed, he taps his foot impatiently. You merely groan in response.
"I can't believe he didn't even tell me he booked a room for me at the hotel! And that I have to attend the same event tomorrow too! I didn't even bring any change!"
"Um, Miss (Y/N), your father asked me to hand you this too.." the driver quietly places a small suitcase on the back seat next to you.
"There you go; he packed stuff for you." You weren't sure if Klaus was trying to tease you or comfort you, but either way, you just let out a sigh.
After a long, mentally and physically exhausting night, you were finally allowed to leave. And boy, were you delighted to recieve the news.
"This one." You pause in front of the room that had the same number on the keycard. Klaus had already placed your bag inside earlier, but it was your first time viewing the room. "At least the room is pretty." You shrug.
"Didn't think you'd admit it." Klaus chuckles. "Well, I have to go; so, good night, Miss (Y/N); I'll be back here tomorrow." He bows.
"Wait!" You stop him before he steps outside the room.
As I have reached the 100 block limit, I'll complete this in Part 2...which I'll literally post now and it'll be shorter than this cuz it's just the ending 😂

How Benefit Outweighs Its Disadvantage
The globe is constantly experiencing new problems. Facilities, institutions, and infrastructure are expanding along with the population, which presents both opportunities and challenges for humanity. However, there is no need to worry because humans possess indisputable intelligence, and every generation is encouraged to produce a range of inventions, innovations, solutions, and project ideas that will help with the society's current problems as well as further the development of the entire planet.
According to the interview we did, one issue that our group hopes to solve is the students' inability to conveniently buy the things they need. Being that Central Mindanao University is quite large, getting to your destination inside the campus does take some time unless you're being driven by a rela (a four-wheel vehicle that is designed to transport students inside the university and is provided for a fee), which can be quite time-consuming for a student who is taking a regular load of classes. Given that students' breaks don't last long enough for them to travel more than a few meters from their colleges, these shortages include nearby canteens for students' food, particularly on each campus, as well as shops for academic supplies like printing shops. We worked with the group to come up with a solution that is less expensive and would benefit the clients or the customer and the group since providing them with the facilities they need close to their universities is not that realistic and takes a lot of time to be effective. The team chose to use a Grab-like service as a solution. Students can ask what they need by texting, calling, or posting on their Facebook page. The student's requested items will be purchased by some individuals assigned to deliver and brought to the student's college within the university. Depending on the distance between the store and the college the student is in at the time the delivery arrives, the student might then pay the price of the items they were urged to buy as well as the delivery cost. This method will not only save the student time and energy, but it will also allow him or her to multitask while waiting for the delivery.
As a student, I am aware of how valuable time is. Every second feels crucial, and wasting even one would be a significant loss for my studies. Because of this, I think the group's plan is really important for saving our time and enabling us to be more productive students. In addition, kids can get their food right away rather of going to the grocery shop themselves. Overall, the proposed approach would cost students a little bit of money, but let's all consider whether the advantages it might offer students exceed any potential drawbacks. Additionally, if any of their classmates wished to receive deliveries as well, they might discuss it with them in order to avoid paying an extra delivery fee. Although there are no ideal solutions, we insist on putting out this one since we think it will benefit Central Mindanao University personnel and faculty as well as students.

Some folks still aren’t familiar with the phrase “cord-cutting” -- most of my older family members, for instance. They’re still inextricably tied to their cable bills. “It just makes it easier to have the whole cable package,” said one older gentleman, who might be related to me. “I don’t want to have to remember a bunch of passwords for a bunch of different services.”
Fair enough, I say. While anecdotal, this story isn't surprising. Whether these fogies believe it or not, 25 percent of American homes have decided to cut the cord and no longer subscribe to cable or satellite television. Predictably, the majority of these homes have at least one resident who belongs to the millennial generation. Younger consumers have started the trend, but studies reveal that cord-cutting is on the rise in households with members of all ages.
And why not? We're living in the age of unlimited options. We want to choose what we watch -- and when. The savings too, are unbeatable. In 2016, the typical American spent more than $1,000 a year just on pay-TV service. Cutting the cord offers a way to trim that bill by half, if not more.

Here's an easy guide to ditching your cable or satellite service and reclaim your entertainment freedom.
1. Get a digital antenna.
A digital antenna costs around $40 and will capture the signal for your local channels in an HD-quality picture. It's by far one of the best (and least expensive) ways to watch in-market sports games and other live events broadcast by "the big four" networks. The yet-to-be-released Mohu AirWave promises to function as a receiver for digital over-the-air signals while also integrating with streaming boxes or plug-in devices. AirWave offers a way to unify streaming and live local content in a single, channel-guide-type menu.
2. Get a streaming box or smart TV.
Smart TVs probably will be the wave of the future (if we can figure out how to get them to stop spying on us). But not everyone can drop that much dough on a new television. Consider a streaming device instead. Most plug directly into an HDMI input and are ready to stream after roughly five minutes of setup.
Roku and Google Chromecast are among the most popular and best known. Amazon's Fire Stick and an abundance of other products also are available -- at very reasonable prices. Do the research to find the one that fits your viewing habits, existing equipment and other needs.
3. Select one or several streaming services.
This might be the most difficult step for some viewers. Instead of having 100-plus channels (with nothing on) force-fed into your living room, you’re about to choose which channels and shows you want to access going forward.
It's easy to watch shows after they air. Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime Video all trade in syndicated programs and “new” television seasons a year after they’ve aired. Increasingly, though, streaming services provide TV programs the day after they premiere -- and in some cases, live. Sling TV and DirecTV Now offer same-day television programming. In some outlets and markets, live shows also are an option.

I won’t sugarcoat it: Cord-cutting is still in the dark ages when it comes to sports packages, but it's gradually getting better. Subscription services such as MLB.TV ($109.99 per year), NFL Game Pass ($129.99 per year) and NBA League Pass ($125 per year) add up quickly for those who want to watch out-of-market games. We can only hope the near future will bring a economical way to bundle multiple sports packages and give fans a mix of games they actually want to watch -- without capitulating to a cable company’s bloated sports packages.
4. Try curated content.
Oftentimes, when I sit down to watch something on one of my streaming services, I am afflicted by what has been referred to as the "tyranny of choice." It's not unusual for me to end up watching nothing at all.
I know plenty of cord-cutters who’ve had the same experience. My suggestion: Find a curating site. They're perfect for whittling down the options and simply finding the best stuff streaming right now. These sites typically are staffed by knowledgeable movie fanatics who can help find something good that also matches your tastes and mood.
