I haven’t thought about it in like 4 years but it’s been almost 6 years since Avengers: Endgame came out and the MCU is a steaming pile of shit. Like if they wanted to take another 10 years of stories together to make one movie that showed one plot line they could not do it there’s no fucking way. I don’t think they’ve given a single one of the new, interesting characters and groups they’ve introduced a sequel, they’ve killed like 3 beloved characters that survived Endgame, Tom Holland is taking a justified break from acting… it’s just Doctor Strange and a bunch of loose ends at this point

#And we all know it’s cause Disney is a greedy little piggy #Other streaming services and production companies too like #I could go on to say the reason none of those movies have had a sequel is because nobody wants to give anything a chance to grow an audienc #They want instant money instant success #Despite the fact that the reason Endgame and Infinity War were so successful was because it WAS 10 YEARS OF CHARACTERS AND STORIES #It takes a while for something to build an audience and I don’t even think the MCU is the best example of that #It’s just the one I’m talking about in this rant #I’m not saying nothing good has come out of the Marvel recently I enjoyed some of the shows and I liked Eternals and Shang-Chi #I thought they were cool and different #I’ve also gotten older so maybe that’s changed my opinions on some of the themes and quality of the stuff they churn out #This is part of a series of posts detailing how I’m just kind of sick of everything that is compelling being canceled #and nothing being watchable anymore
