It's just kind of sad cuz The Point of Pandora Hearts is kind of built around realizing that Lacie is a character with internality who did not want to be horrifically abused by her family

#logxx #Like Lacie's whole thing is being literally conscious that she is in A Story and how the Story works and that #She does not get to control or narrate any of it except to reveal (vaguely) that she is suffering #And then for various reasons trying to find a way to stop being the Omelas child and prevent any new Omelas children #The actual way it's executed is crazy like once you realize what's being done w her character it's kind of unbelievable #But to do that you kinda gotta acknowledge that the character most obviously indicated to be a bad person #Was a bad person
