2023: the year I saw Ramin perform six times while swearing I'm just a huge fan and not a stalker. He's worth every penny I spent.

Meeting him at the VIP was wonderful, he was so sweet when I was so starstruck to really say much. I'd seen him in concert at the same venue in 2019 with Sierra and he's just like 1000% hotter in person but like up close. On top of being so talented and nice. I was at least aware enough to push Seth out everything after the first photo and minute of conversation. I bought my best friend a VIP ticket because that was the only way she could sit next to me and she gave me her time with him. I told him I was going to be at "Funny Girl" the next weekend and swore I didn't plan it that way. He was super excited to hear that.

Funny Girl: That open robe at the start of Act Two. He now talks so much about being objectified but then gave us that fan service. Just like seeing him person; those abs in person photos don't do them justice. To see them in their natural state where they aren't flexed or prepped for days for a photo shoot. And then he danced: bless his heart, he tried. It was so cute.

However, I can safely say nothing is ever going to top seeing his Phantom live. I am so glad I bought tickets to all the shows for while i was there. I just can't put it into proper words. It's a transending experience. There's just so much emotion; he had the audience in the palm of his hand. There were times when he was on stage, especially during MOTN, I had to remind myself to breathe. His 25th Phantom was what turned me back onto the musical after seeing the 2004 at the midnight showing made me go I never want anything to do with this. He seriously IS The Phantom. Like I know it's Ramin but all I see is The Phantom, he dissapears into the role. And that is quite the feat especially since I've seen him in concert twice and in another role.

I did go to the stage door once, when one of my online peeps from the Ramin facebook group there. It was her last show (She'd been there the day before) and knew how to navigate it. The stage door was pandemonium!!! I managed to get Ramin to sign my Trieste Phantom poster which was what I wanted! Amelia and Bradley signed it as well, they actually signed it first so getting Ramin to sign it was a big deal! I didn't want anything else from him seeing as I had my VIP time and I know he's not big on stage door.

I'm sad I won't get to go to Milan or Monte Carlo to see how the Italy Production grows. Seriously, it is an amazing production and I hope they continue to make some tweaks here and there to help it grow.

Part of me thinks this new production is going to come back to Broadway with Ramin in it. Part of me thinks if this is true I need to start saving up for that. Ramin isn't done with The Phantom and I'll be there to see it again.

Thoughts:

This is the second album by TXT I am reviewing on my blog. I was slightly disappointed by the last album, there were just some low moments or some songs felt off. I have good news that after some more months have passed, I like those songs a bit more now. Additionally, on May 26th, I saw TXT live for the second time and had the opportunity to hear some of those songs live. Hearing them live made me enjoy them a lot more. Anyways, I wasn't sure what to expect with this album, but I definitely was not disappointed.

The opening track is an absolute gem in their discography. TXT are known for having iconic opening tracks, at least in my eyes. This one is no different. I'll See You There Tomorrow makes me a bit emotional, as it feels like a friend talking to another friend, excited about meeting each other once again. It reminds me of how I feel about the members of TXT, like they are my friends. This song is groovy and boppy, addicting in nature. The post chorus is my favorite part, even though it includes no actual lyrics. The vibes are perfect.

Oh, Deja Vu... the title track. I will say this song took some time for me to like. The song is dramatic and sad, but I'm not completely sold. I feel like I am not feeling what the song wants me to feel, which makes it a slightly uncomfortable experience. I think they could have done better with including more emotional vocals and raps, like LO$ER=LOVER or Lovesong. And no bridge? Come on... After hearing it live, I think I have an emotion to tie it to now. Wantingness and regret, mostly because I miss seeing them live in concert. The performance is amazing, but the listening experience is not the best. It is a half skip, and half listen for me, definitely my least favorite song on the album.

Miracle! God, I really appreciate Miracle's existence. It was amazing in concert. Chanting the 1!... 2!!... 3!!!... with the audience was great. I get this song. It's the perfect follow up to Deja Vu, it's not a complete 180 from the sad vibes, but brings the listener up a bit. The beat keep driving forward. The song feels too short.

Now, the subunit songs. The Killa is really something. Now, I know the fandom loves this song. It was a straight hit for me as soon as I heard it. But, it did not age as well. It is probably my second least favorite on the album, surprisingly. It is like Tinnitus 2.0 but not as good as Tinnitus. It really is a shame that the Yeonjun subunit songs always get overshadowed by the other subunit song somehow. Then, Quarter Life. This song makes me feel things. It is way too short, which is my only complaint. Heuning Kai, Taehyun, and Beomgyu came together and made the most angsty song on this album. I just love when TXT do rock, even if it is 5 Seconds of Summer, pop rock, rock. I, too, feel like I am having a quarter life crisis. I don't know, it's embarrassing to say, but I relate to this song.

Then the Anemoia remix... I really wish this wasn't included on the official album. I genuinely don't understand why BigHit did that? They have never included a remix on the initial album release before. And, this remix is not that good. The vibe Deja Vu had before is changed and for what? I feel like the producers didn't know which track to choose when deciding the title, so they just put both? I am genuinely confused and not super pleased by this inclusion. Feels like a space filler like with the previous album.

Overall, I really like this album. All of the tracks are great in their own way. When doing an album listen through, I would only skip the remix. On a TXT shuffle, there is a 50/50 chance I'd skip Deja Vu. Overall, great odds. I think this is another great addition to TXT's discography.

I'll tell you some funny stories about me & reasons why I'm on tumblr

I've been a fan of the KP Series for so long, I fell for A first. It was love at first sight that I never ever believe it will. I actually saw the 1st version and I fell for A immediately, but that version didn't attract me at all (sry not sry). Then I wasn't paying attention that much until I found M. That's right I fell for him too. Late 2021 actually was the first time that I called myself a fan of MA. I've been following them since then. I've been participating in their EVERY event and spent a huge amount of money supporting them. Concerts in Thailand and overseas, I also went there; Singapore, Manila, Taiwan, and back again at KPWT 2023. Supporting them isn't all about participating in their in-person event. Supporting them online, encouraging them, or putting a positive environment fandom for ourselves and them is A HUGE supporting which I always do.

A couple of weeks ago, I've seen too many hating on A and M because of misunderstanding or mistranslating (maybe idk). So I decided that I want to open ANOTHER personal account (I have already one which i used to follow them from the beginning) just to help translate. And I myself know that I WILL NEVER EVER PUT HATE ON ANYONE OF THEM so it became pizzapartyma account. I did this because I love them so much that I want people to know more about them. At the very first tweets I also did translation for other KP boys as well. (I'm doing it now but didn't tweet about because too scare of super toxic MA stand that wanting me to tweets only about MA)

The story started here;

Unnamed account announced to close their account down, I've gain rapidly followers which I don't know why. So I started to introduce myself and pinned that tweets and I went to sleep. I worked up with confusion that there's rumor that the owner of pizzapartyma (which is me) is the same person with those who just closed down her translating account (the unnamed one which is who idk) And thing started to be chaos when that rumors hit Thai fandom, I received many hating tweets (it passed by my eyes in for you section) I also received hateful dm as well. The only reason is they believe in thing without any proof or any of sample size to prove their assumptions. Their theories were totally funny, some said .........+ ....... is equal to pizza, some said I was the same person covering up with new account and image. Some said I came back this time to fully putting hate on A. That's funny at first, but when I think carefully into it. it's hurtful because all those people in the world they dare to choose A as my anti. The only thing I always do toward A is support. (A is my super bias, M is my bias) Someone suggested me here so I am now here and find some peace. lol

What I want to clarify is I'm not that person. I am just pizza who fell in love with M and fell for A harder and still fell for them over and over. I have all the information of when I set up my acc, why i set up my acc and all those tweets or dm that putting hate on me. I also want to ask them that if I really A anti, will I spend so much effort and money to participate in every event he did ? If I really A anti, will i have so much time to go and support the one I hate ? Damn, use some logic. I am sad because those thai fandom (whose tweets hurt me) who was there during little people in famdom with me in 2021 still believe that I am that person (we never talk, but I saw their tweets all the time and thought that we're in this fandom for so long tgt) Some of them excused that unnamed account that trying to lip guessing, they said do not try to believe thing without any proof. Now they're doing the same lol

Thank you everyone here for not being that kind of person, I really appreciate my existing here. Don't feel sorry for me because I already let it go. lol I don't give them a fuck already. I just want this to remind myself someday that this funny stories once happened to me.

okay so, long list of fall out boy concert thoughts mostly for myself and also for anyone who cares:

-i've been pretty excited about getting to see bring me the horizon open for them, and they were soooooo fucking good and got me so hyped. oli got off the stage and walked through the crowd at one point which was pretty cool. wish he had come close to me.

-love from the other side is SO hype and so amazing to see live.

-songs like uma thurman and save rock and roll that aren't normally favorites of mine are also hype just because of everyone singing and dancing and having fun and all the awesome fun stage effects! i was in the vip box area and had a great view of said stage effects. i hadn't watched many tourdust videos before so most of them were a surprise to me. loved the underwater background and bubbles some songs had and the spooky forest looking background, loved all the colorful fireworks, fucking loved when they had a giant doberman and it lip sycned during this ain't a scene it's an arms race and pete made it look like he was putting his head in its mouth. wish i got a photo of that.

-i got chicago is so two years ago in the TTTYG slot and i'm happy with that!

-i am still reeling from getting to hear calm before the storm and disloyal order of water buffaloes. it's 2023 and those two songs are permanent fixtures on the setlist. what the fuck.

-have to be honest that i got disappointed for a second when the opening chords to bang the doldrums played for the IOH slot just because like i don't get to go to multiple shows in one tour and don't know when i'll ever get to go to another show where i have a chance to hear hum hallelujah. so yeah i wanted to hear it because it's probably my favorite FOB song.

-BUT after that second of disappointment i was still fucking hyped and dancing and singing wholeheartedly to bang the doldrums because it's a banger, it's something they only started playing live on this very tour, and it's the one that was almost a shrek song, so can i really complain?

-got headfirst slide in the folie slot, it would've been super cool if they switched it for 27 again but i love headfirst slide too so no complaints there!!

-PATRICK PLAYED I'VE GOT ALL THIS RINGING IN MY EARS AND NONE ON MY FINGERS FOR HIS PIANO SOLO?? thank you patrick i love you i owe you my life

-i'm so glad we got one of the best MANIA songs for the tour, last of the real ones was so fun.

-umm okay so oli sykes may not have walked close to me but FUCKING. PETE WENTZ. GOT OFF THE STAGE DURING DANCE DANCE AND WALKED RIGHT BEHIND MY SEAT!?!?! i think my brain broke and i like almost died for a minute. i did not think to record a video of him walking by 😭 i panicked and snapped a blurry photo.

-AND THEN AFTER I GOT DONE SINGING ALONG TO HOLD ME LIKE A GRUDGE!!! THEY SUBJECTED ME TO FROM NOW ON WE ARE ENEMIES AS THE 8 BALL SONG!!

-look, the only reason i didn't put from now on we are enemies on my 8 ball wishlist was i didn't think they would even consider it. i thought it was just too delusional of a pick. i recorded a video of it and i'm pretty sure it starts with me shouting "HOLY SHIT" right at the opening chords and continues with patrick being inaudible because i'm screaming the lyrics

-made me sad that not many people seemed to know the song though :( like i GET IT because a song that was only ever released NOT EVEN as a b-side but on their 2009 greatest hits album and then never ever played live is a pretty big deep cut. but i wish there had been more energy for it. it does help that pete said "that went better than i expected!" afterward, and hey, i bet some people at that show heard it for the first time ever and loved it.

-the flame effects during my songs know what you did in the dark were sooo cool and fun and so were the big sparkly fireworks during thnks fr the mmrs and the confetti everywhere at the end.

-i saw someone say they should take saturday off the setlist. that is the most wrong opinion i've ever heard. fall out boy shows closing with saturday is a 20-year tradition still going strong and i'm so glad i finally got to experience it.

Music Nerd Stuff

I really should be working but I have no motivation today so I'm wasting my time doing this instead. If you feel like doing this please do. I don't know who to tag but I'll tag some folks at the bottom.

1. First Concert: officially? I'm pretty sure the first one I went to all by myself was Soundgarden/Rev Horton Heat at Max Bell. There were a few at that same time that I had gone to so I'm not sure but I'll stick with that answer. I know I bought Rev Horton Heat shirt with a Devil girl on it and it got me into a lot of trouble at school the first time I wore it. This probably ages me a little bit.

2. Last Concert: I think the last show I went to was Hot Water Music and Sincere Engineer. I've been super weird about doing anything since Covid. I mean weirder than I normally am. But I'm trying to force myself to go to more shows again. Sincere Engineer were amazing. I can't wait to see another show at a better venue.

3. Most Surprising Show: Hmm...this is tough. I've seen some pretty cool shows especially when I worked at the record store and would just get free tickets to anything. Seeing RVIVR on a whim at a bike shop in town. The show wasn't advertised or promoted at all. I just happened to stumble upon a random instagram post. I had never even seen this shop and it was like 10 blocks from my old house. So I went. It was so amazing. It felt like when I went to shows in high school. It really rejuvenated my love for punk rock.

4. Worst show: Oh I have seen a lot of those...as I mentioned I had a free ticket to almost anything that came through town and I would take full advantage of it. Like I went to see Styx with Gowen singing just because I could. Plus all the basement/all ages shows. I mean you gotta sift through some mud to get some gems. But, maybe the most disappointing was Arcade Fire. It was on their first "big" tour. To be fair I wasn't that into the album yet. But all I had heard was how amazing this band was live and how it was going to blow my mind. I legit fell asleep during the show on a couch. Like not related to booze or being tired. I might as well have been in a boring lecture at school.

or maybe Ozzy the last time I saw him. I saw him in like 96 and he was rad and energetic. Then I saw him later on pre the Sabbath reunion. We were lucky (or so I thought) to be side stage. But Ozzy was decrepit and couldn't move. He was reading off a teleprompter and it was sad seeing the regression. I have heard he ruled on the Sabbath shows but I didn't buy tickets for that based on this experience.

5. Loudest: Hmm...I assume all the basement shows were loud and probably were not good for any future hearing loss but the loudest show with an actual PA had to be the Misfits when they came through on the first run with Graves singing. I don't think my ears were ever the same. I also learned that wearing plugs at a show is probably a smart idea. Alas it was too late.

6. Band I’ve Seen The Most: I'd say Chixdiggit because they played all the time when I was a teenager. I'm sure there are other local bands that I saw just as much.

7. Best Show: Too many contenders. I have been fortunate to see so many good shows. I am a sucker for small venues and I really hate stadium or festival shows. I guess that's the punk rock snob in me. But the first one that came to mind was The Weakerthans at the multi cultural centre. It was an all ages show, on a Sunday , in the middle of summer which usually meant a giant failure at the time. I hadn't been a fan. I was too young to get that kind of music. But the show made me one. Plus I still get butterflies because that whole day was fantastic like some sort of scene in a movie when the main character looks back and reflects on something formative or romantic.

8. Happiest I Got To See: The Menzingers. They had canceled twice here and I finally got to see them. It was probably the first time I was up front at a stage in like 10 years.

9. Wish I Could’ve Seen: There are 3 for me

a) The Murder City Devils - They only played here once as far as I know. I wasn't 18 and I couldn't get into the show. My friend said he would get me in. I was too much of a chicken and I figured they would be back again soon. Much like Mr T at the mall it never happened.

b) Samiam - Same deal as above, same venue, I wish I wasn't such a chicken at the time.

c.) At the Drive In - I didn't get an actual chance to see them but fuck do I wish I could have seen them before they blew up and then hated being a band.

10. Seeing Next: I don't know. I always say I'll go to this show or that show. I'm old, I'm slightly afraid of large crowds now ...but I do have tickets to the Chuck Ragan, The Interrupters and Frank Turner in April. And I really want to see 1876 when they play here for Sled Island. That will rule.

I’m so jealous, the band didn’t stick around to meet fans on the first date in Baltimore but it seems like they’ve gone out at every single other show 😭 I’m so sad I didn’t get to meet him, there was only a couple of us waiting there but they went right to their hotel apparently!

omg, don't feel too bad - i'll give you the quick (edit: lol) rundown of my experience: NYC: I didn't know where the backstage entrance/exit was until after the show, and I was too anxious about it all/too excited to talk to some folks I met at Zorn@70 to scope out trying to meet them coming in...after the concert, Scott and Trey came over to say hi, Dave, Mike and Trevor went straight to the car.

Montclair: it fuckn rained most of the afternoon...I get the feeling they went in for soundcheck early and then never went out again before the show. I had a long, chill, lunch/dinner. I think bc the venue was smallish, and maybe security wasn't like....super serious with their briefing, AND the boys had the day off the next day, AND there was a jazz festival the same day so they had to like, walk of shame/fame over to the parking lot where the vehicles were...Mike felt comfortable enough to say hi to folks on the walk...at the place I was waiting there was literally just me and one other guy (the obvious fan) with his gf. There were also maybe a couple of people waiting on the parking lot end? But I bet not a crowd at all. (That night I was just like....laser focused on getting the belt to Mike....I think everybody in the band did some fan-greets)

Boston: I kid you not, it was just pure dumb-fuck luck that we ran into them coming into soundcheck. All I was actually doing was showing off where the tour bus was parked (that I saw on the way to the venue) and taking a walk around the block....and there they were! Security stopped us, but again, I dunno, maybe because they had the day off before, maybe because Mike was loopy as apparently he hadn't eaten all day, maybe he knew he was getting his Pig and Hip friends in a sec so he was in a good mood, but he said yes when I asked if we could come say 'hi', and security let us through. After the show, I definitely did not want to bother them again, but I was super curious what the band would do, so I hung out after the show, but back a ways - everybody except Trevor got into the car and booked it pretty soon after the show (they had to drive to Montreal). Trevor for some reason came out much later and straight up chatted with whoever was left, and no one seemed to take any selfies, so I kind of wonder if they knew him or were connected to him in some way??

So like, out of three shows, only at one of them did the band as a whole (and mike at all) come out and say hi to fans. And to be honest, if circumstances had been slightly different, it could have been 0/3. It feels a little shitty of me to have this perspective, since I did get to talk to him twice (also to be super honest, he definitely did not recognize me the second time, why would he?), but I dunno...if things were different, and I didn't get to meet him at all, I would like to think that would be ok...these old fucks have to live that tour life (asshole-tight schedules, sleeping on coffin-sized bunk beds on the bus), they really don't have to come over after the show. I will say, I was NOT lucky enough to get a whiff of that bastard, so like, can't have everything!!!

2)And as we were driving I noticed him kind of jamming and I was like 'Oh my god Mickey do you actually like this???' And he was Like 'yeah, these are some good bops 👍' I was shooketh. I had to go home before I had the chance to show him any music videos but he says he's open to watching some with me next time I see him. 3)I only started first getting into kpop last June so I'm still very new, but it's definitely super frustrating how so many ppl act like it's an inherently bad or cringey genre of music just bc it's kpop! The stigma is ridiculous! I also started out with BTS (lol) and since they're pretty popular in the US at least I was able to be like 'See, this isn't just a niche thing, lots of people know abt and like this group' but of course my dad still says 'Just cause it's popular doesn't make it good'

4)And I'm like? You're a band teacher, you of all people should understand that music doesn't have to be in your native language (or even have lyrics) in order for you to enjoy it, but go off I guess... It's the same with one of my college friends. They make fun of me for liking kpop but this is coming from some who still treats March 22nd (the day My Chemical Romance broke up) as a day of mourning. Like, no tea no shade no pink lemonade, MCR was a good band nothing wrong with liking them.

5)But like if you're 22 and you still haven't grown out of your emo phase do you really have room to pick on other people for their music taste?  🤷 Anyway that's the person who follows my main that I didn't want to know I had a kpop sb. I think I made it around July. Tbh it was pretty dead for most of 2018. But like I said I've started using it way more since I recently revealed that it exists, lol. Especially since that good good Astro cb 👏💗😩 But honestly Astro is such a blessing

6)Idk how I lived so long w/o them. When I first got into kpop I was planning on just sticking to BTS since the reaction to me being into kpop was so volatile. I was like 'I'm only into one group, ppl already are negative about me liking kpop so I'm just gonna stick to this and not become a full on multifandom fan' and then in Nov I accidentally let myself fall in love with Monsta X and that plan was foiled. And realizing I wasn't gonna be able to stick to just one anymore opened the floodgates

7)And I was like okay in that case, let's just start getting into *all groups* Lol. My story of getting into Astro was actually bc of my best friend's roommate (can you tell I have like one friend and my whole social circle kinda revolves around her? Lol) so this roommate when she heard me being sad about having no kpop friends was like 'oh hey, I'm kinda into kpop' and it turns out she didn't like very many groups and was one of the ppl who blah blah BTS is overrated, which ya know isn't ideal8)But I was just really desperate to have someone to talk about kpop with. And Astro was her favorite so I was like, okay I'll get into them so that I have something to talk about with her! So I started watching some videos and I fell in love with them pretty much instantly! And I was real excited bc #1 now I can talk about kpop with someone! And #2 this group is actually amazing? Bonus! ... And then they got in a big fight about their living conditions and the roommate ended up moving out RIP

9)So that didn't work out, lol (Your story about finding them during that internship sounds amazing though! Haha) But yeah, so this is my first cb too! And although I love them w/ my whole heart and would have loved to have them in my life even sooner what an amazing cb to be your first! The concept was wonderful, the album was excellent, the visuals were to *die* for. Okay SO I’m very sorry I haven’t had the time to answer everything until now bc I’ve been busy studying for midterms and also I was a lil trashy today since my uni closed bc of freezing rain so I slept in but I’m glad that FINALLY everything got sent like damn tumblr you really don’t want us making friends huh. 

Yessssss I love the feeling of seeing someone else also get into the same interests! I’ve been pretty lucky in the sense that I grew up around mostly other asian americans, so kpop was never something that was considered super “weird,” like some people were into it and some weren’t but even if you weren’t you still would’ve been familiar with the more popular groups from when you were younger. Even now, I have a bunch of friends also into kpop (one of them is even my roommate) so tbh I was definitely the one in my friend group late to the party aha. Even my university hosts kpop nights at our bar and I’m pretty sure we have a kpop dance team as well? So tbh if I met someone new there’s probably like a 50% chance they’re into kpop or at least listen casually. 

Tbh I used to be a little bit judgy too but moreso because of the obscene amount of money I’ve seen some of my friends spend (no joke one of my friends has spent probably like $500+ on Loona stuff in the past month and a half and another friend bought like 5 copies of the same album for herself like damn idk how do you have that much money).

I also really don’t like it when people bash other people’s music tastes, since I feel like it’s something so personal? Idk but for a long time I used to be really self conscious about sharing my music with other people and even now I feel like that sometimes. For me after getting into BTS I kind of expected to get really into other groups since I was in Korea anyway and I was already listening to a lot of other artists casually. For me it started with NU’EST (fell for them immediately at the same concert that I saw Astro at) and then after was Astro, and then I just started slowly getting into other groups after that (even though I haven’t totally been able to get into Got7′s music they’re SO funny and I just kinda fell for their personalities  you know). 

I honestly think that they did such a wonderful job with this comeback too! I like seeing their concept evolve and mature but they’re not straying too far from their original cute concept so I feel like it’s a nice middle ground that’s very unique to them, you feel? Also I feel like the visuals especially and the execution of the whole plant concept was just done so well?? Even my friend who’s not in kpop was like “k idk who they are but that was the prettiest music video I’ve ever seen”. What are your favourite eras and songs? For me I’d have to say either the Spring Up or Baby era BUT right now my favourite song is probably Again/Should’ve Held On though tbh my mood and my tastes change like every few weeks loool. 

I have no idea why I tend to be most attracted to the dances rather than vocals or rap (maybe has to do with the fact that it’s something I’ve always wished I could do but have always been bad at lmao). But Astro’s stood out to me for the exact same reason! I just thought it was so funny seeing them all break character at the end because you really get to see how hard their choreos are and you get a glimpse of their personalities like damn, how can you not stan these dummies?

That’s really unfortunate that you won’t get to see them either :/ They’re also coming to the closest city to me but it’s on a Tuesday, but I *hypothetically* looked up flight prices and tried to see if I could get away with just missing a day of classes if I flew back in the middle of the night since I have some friends who did the same thing and drove down to Buffalo but I seem to have underestimated the size of New York State LMAO. But apparently my university’s too far from the airport so it’s “not realistic” (and also I’m hella broke from travelling to Taiwan and Japan while I was in Korea but that’s a minor issue ig). I hope we do both get a chance to see them live though! Who knows, after the success of this comeback I’m expecting a lot more cbs and world tours out of them ;)

Mon 11th April 12.20am

🥺 I went to a concert tonight (lastnight)

And I was super excited for it, because I never concert, but my Bear does. And I loved when you went to those, shared them with me, and how you'd zone out and think about everything and nothing. Omg and the lighting mechanics. All the stuffs.

I was a little, nervous about going, not just because eww germs, but also is it inside or outside, seated or moshpit, and ugh the peoples, the crowd. Although I was excited, I also kinda didn't want to go, but then also felt obligated to go, because Matt was looking forward to it and his brother and cousins were all going too.

It was outside, in a giant like circus tent without the tent walls. Just a circus tent roof and no sides. It was a moshpit, you just get a spot and stand there.

I took photos and videos, I'll share them with you. ☹ I was okay, and I did good. But then, it all got too much for me. Too many people were knocking into me, pushing and shoving past me, cans and cups littered on the ground, and I was alone (not alone still with the group just no Matt) and felt like I needed to kind of save his spot near me. (Thinking about this again, I just felt alone in the huge crowd)

It just, everything and more got to me, and I was too overwhelmed and anxious and I cried. I tried not to cry, but the more I tried not to, the harder I did. Matt came back, saw me and held me, but the swaying and moving around just irked me. It felt smothered, instead of what he was trying to do, like comforting.

A few people noticed me crying, one lady was drunk and in my face, spilling her drink and not being helpful, although I'm sure she probably thought she was, but ugh I couldn't hear whatever she was trying to say to me. I just kept nodding and smiling at her and everyone, saying "Honestly I'm okay! No please, really, I'm good" 🙇‍♀️ I wasn't good and I wasn't okay.

A couple of other girls were really nice, and asked if I needed time out or wanted to go to the bathroom with them. Offered me their drinks and cigarettes lol. I tried my hardest to assure them that I was okay.

The final straw was that although Matt was trying to rub my back and have his arm around me, all he was doing was rocking and swaying, nudging me all over the show and I just couldn't do it anymore. So I walked away, weaved through the crowd, eyes filled with tears and apologising to everyone as I passed them.

Ugh and also, men are pervs. Like who thinks, oh here's a girl visibly upset, I'll hit on her. Ugh.

I found myself a corner to be alone in and get my shit together. Cried it all out, and then went back to the group. Thankfully there wasn't much concert left, maybe a little less than an hour or so.

☹ I'm sad I got sad and overwhelmed. It was all just too much. I'm glad I went, but I will not be doing anymore concerts anytime soon.

Maybe I could do concerts alone, lol. YEEEAH RIGHT and get stolen!

Not TOP-related but saw u mentioned jonghyun. Do u ever get sad sometimes when watching shinee after his death? It’s bittersweet for me now but sometimes I get these episodes where get super sad when listening to them. I’m Feb I had this episode after a long time. I tried to talk myself out of it & thought my feelings were invalid since I never knew him. Just wanted to ask if u ever felt this way & how to deal w/ it if I have an episode again? [1/2]

Shit. I answered this with full on paragraphs and stories but Tumblr ate it up. Please refer to my 2nd answer. But It really has gotten better for me with Jong although watching some concerts is still hard. I avoid replay cause it just really messes me up especially live stages with him in it. View I love that song but towards the end where his line "I'll never leave you lonely" it fucks me up and I can only repeat the song so much.

I try to think of what Jonghyun wanted for the group and take it a step at a time by pacing myself with it. Although I wish he was still here for the newer music. I was so numb and empty just so cried out when he first died those first 3 months. These days I feel okay yet still feel that extra special something is missing.

I would advise you to go through their newer music before hand. Watch their MVs and really get used to them being OT4 so it doesn't overwhelm you emotionally when revisiting the old stuff.
