my jean & neil qpr agenda (part 1?)

after Neil orders the hit and Greyson becomes another Former Raven statistic for the media to go wild with, Jean ends up texting Neil. It's definitely not a thank you, but both of them know it kinda is (prob something like "you're an insufferable disease" lol)

They don't have contact for a while, but one day Neil reaches out by sending Jean the most atrocious multilingual French meme with "Kevin doesn't appreciate me or my humor, this is a hate crime"

It's sporadic from there, and maybe at one point they meet up while Neil and Andrew are on their summer road trip. Neil and Andrew end up in Colorado, and Jeremy, Cat, and Laila practically drag Jean there to see them (he'll deny that he had a good time, but he really did)

Andrew and Jean have a bizarre and interesting dynamic where they don't speak to each other often, but they eventually grow a mutual respect and shoot each other Looks about their "I'm Fine" partners. They don't mind just sitting in the same room and sharing space while they do their separate things.

When Jean and Jeremy start their pottery class, Jean takes to it like a fish to water.

He ends up majoring in Ceramics & Multimedia Art. Something about using his hands to create, rather than destroy.

He makes Neil a little exy racket charm for his keychain.

At one point, Jeremy makes a gc with Jean, Neil, Kevin, and Andrew on impulse. Jean "hates" it but doesn't leave the group chat. Andrew only stays in it because he can mute it, and it's useful for when they plan to meet up sometimes. It also makes Neil happy and it's not something he really minds

Jean also takes LOTS of pictures. With his phone, his friends' phones, a polaroid camera he gets as a gift from Cat, anything he can get his hands on. He hangs them up on his half of the room with Jeremy.

Eventually Jeremy and Jean do get separate rooms. They usually still sleep in the same room, but it's an important milestone for Jean and his recovery. Being able to have his own space, and know he's allowed to control who comes in it.

He decorates that room so much it's chaotic and beautiful and there's probably little pencil doodles on the wall next to his bed from when he can't sleep. He tends to draw daffodils :]

It becomes a bit of a tradition to meet Neil and Andrew every summer.

When they go pro, Jean and Neil end up on teams only a few hours' drive from each other. Neil and Andrew start on the same team, but the whole Minyard-Josten Rivalry is still a Thing because they're always shooting heated Russian at each other while "glaring" and no one else seems to realize it's their equivalent of flirting.

Jean thinks it's hilarious. He harasses Neil about it constantly.

Him and Kevin eventually mend their friendship, and they care about each other a lot.

Neil probably made the three of them matching "I survived Castle Evermore" shirts just to be a menace, and then Jean and Kevin have to make him swear that he'll never wear it in public.

Neil has a habit of just. Showing up at Jean's house and crashing sometimes.

Jeremy at one point jokes that he'll have to fight Neil for Jean's time in the future, but he's not really worried. They're happier when they spend time together. Jeremy and Andrew are chill with it.

When they meet up for the first time after a game between their pro teams, none of their teammates have any clue what's going on. Jean and Neil insult each other ferociously, but also can't seem to resist hip-checks and shoulder bumps and almost affectionate shoves.

Neil constantly sidles up to Jean and pretends like he doesn't know what he's doing. Jean usually responds by absently grabbing his hand so he knows where he is.

They are literally a cat and dog. Neil will deny that he's being caring or affectionate towards Jean all day long while actively attempting to be in Jean's space, and Jean practically perks up when Neil enters a room.

When their teams play against each other, they talk in French sometimes. Their checks are always a bit brutal (they know very well how far the other can be pushed before they break) but they help each other up at the end of quarters.

Jean is constantly antagonizing Neil by smiling and complimenting his striker skills while blocking him, and Neil is constantly taunting him with words that are plenty sharp, but never actually aimed for vital spots

Jean gets a service dog and Jeremy decides to name her Mr. Barkbark Flufferpants, following Andrew & Neil's naming scheme for their cats. They usually just call her "Mr."

When they make Court, the two of them practically live in each other's pockets.

Jeremy and Andrew watch both exasperatedly and amusedly (though Andrew just calls it annoyance when asked) as the two of them dance around their Big Queer Platonic Feelings

When they finally manage to actually communicate about it, it goes something like "Idk what's happening, I'm kinda obsessed with you but it is Not Romantic and I don't know what to do with that." And then "Oh thank hell, me too, I thought I was even weirder than I already am. Wanna go harrass the fbi together?" "No."

They become even more attached at the hip after that, can practically finish each other's sentences. It's like they freaking mind melded tbh.

At first Kevin gets worried that they're slipping into old habits from the Nest, especially Jean, but when he brings it up to Andrew and Jeremy, Andrew just goes "No, they're idiots." and Jeremy nods and says "I think they're in a honeymoon phase. If we see them slipping, we'll pull them out."

Kevin decides to wait and watch, and thankfully their relationship ends up being as healthy as Neil and Jean can be. There might be a little codependence going on, but they have other people and other grounding forces to help intervene if it seems to be unbalancing.

They both put each other on their emergency contacts list.

It's a common sight to find the two of them twisted into impossible positions together just doing their own things, Jean drawing, Neil watching reruns of Exy matches, whatever.

Their dynamic just becomes Jean, who genuinely grows up to be a pretty chill dude, and Neil, who's an absolute gremlin. Except they kinda absorb each other's personalities, so they're both little shits together. They fit.

There is definitely all sorts of weird conversations that they have at 2AM in little sleepovers they do together (sometimes with Kevin, Jeremy, or Andrew) because they never got that as kids.

I bet Neil mercilessly teases Jean for being allosexual, especially when he gets flustered (all in good fun, of course)

Jean just snarks back with a "shut up, I literally saw you look at Andrew like a besotted elderly man with his partner of fifty years like five minutes ago." Neil sticks out his tongue at him.

Jean actually can sometimes read the ways that Neil and Andrew show affection for each other because of how much time he spends around them, which leads to him occasionally getting confused when other people don't automatically Get It

Neil takes a while to warm up to Jeremy because he seems Too Nice, but once he does he helps Jeremy plan to absolutely torment Jean with silly little romantic gestures that make him flush all the way down to his neck

At one point Neil tries to get Jean to explain what it feels like to be sexually attracted to someone without knowing them really closely, and it leads to a really surprisingly deep conversation about attraction before it turns into neil making dick jokes.

Cat and Laila still keep in close contact with Jean, as well as Renee. They make sure to meet up as often as they can. Cat and Jean always go for a bike ride together and they all cook dinner as a group.

They're both cuddle monsters when in the right mood. They also have the convenient ability to fall asleep Anywhere when they feel safe. So finding them curled up together in weird places at home is pretty commonplace.

They're forever partners, not in the way that the world and the Nest tried to make them be, but in a way that they created themselves.

It doesn't have to be romantic to be special, and if anyone ever suggested that they should be in a romantic relationship, they would both look at that person with absolute judgement and disgust. This person interrupted their conversation. They were talking shit about someone. Neil is lounging in Jean's lap. Andrew is saying he hates them both, and Jeremy is cackling at it all while taking a low-res picture for Cat and Laila.

I think the Deans are fucking Lovecraftian gods

If you're a regular reader of my nonsense, you may have noticed that on more than one occasion I've referred to the Deans as "Nyarlathotep Tumblrsexymen": no, I didn't have a stroke on the keyboard, this is a reference to an entity that appears in the stories of Howard Phillip Lovecraft. A writer who is widely known because there were even people who thought that the Necronomicon, a fictional text part of his work, actually existed (and because he was such a recalcitrant racist that it has become a meme about how extremely racist he was).

And since I'm still going through my pile of papers on Gothic fiction, let me take a moment to talk about Lovecraft's work, why I have reason to believe that the Deans have something in common with these creatures, and what that might mean for the development of Nevermore.

A Little About Lovecraft's Gods

To understand a little bit about the kind of creatures we are talking about, I have to stop at a brief (seriously brief) description of cosmic horror: This is a type of horror that takes elements from the scientific publications of the time (which makes it close to science fiction) to give it verisimilitude, it has at its core a deep nihilism, the breaking of scientific canons, the fragility of the human mind and societies contrasted with the vastness of the universe, an enormous fear of "the unknown" for the white man (fed by his racist paranoia), and seasoned with tentacles and creatures that remind us of sea creatures, because Lovecraft had an enormous fear of the sea.

The gods in these stories represent, on a symbolic level, the vastness of the universe, the terror of the unknown, and the fragility of the human mind: they are entities older than time itself, contact with them tends to shatter the mind, and humanity must be very, very grateful that most of them are locked away or incapacitated in some way. Also, the way to access them is through very specific rituals that have been lost over time, so thankfully they're not very easy to contact either.

Similarities with the Deans

Let's start with the most obvious: the Deans, like the Lovecraftian gods, seem to operate in their own plane of existence, beyond what humans understand as "life" and "death": Nevermore is a kind of limbo, but we know, thanks to the Raven, that these guys came from another place and had enough power to kick the crap out of psychopomps without any problem.

However, just like Lovecraft's gods, these enormous powers don't make them able to do whatever they want; as I said, these entities are usually locked up or incapacitated in some way and can only have contact with humans under certain circumstances (like being summoned in rituals), and getting out of their prisons usually requires vague events like astral alignments that are completely out of their control.

The Deans, like Lovecraft's gods, seem to be subject to rules that are above them, and while they can bend them a bit to achieve their goals, it's not like they can do much about it.

Another thing they have in common with Lovecraft's gods is the ability to create servants that function as extensions of them to fulfill their designs. There are many creatures that follow this line in the stories that speak of The Myths, but the best known are the Shoggoth that appear in the novel At the Mountains of Madness: artificial beings created by the Old Ones to rule the Earth, described as amphibious, amorphous masses similar to amoebas.

Although the Deans prefer their minions in the form of animated dolls. I suspect this decision is based on the story The Sandman by E.T.A. Hoffman. I have no proof, but no doubt.

Now for the joke that brings this essay to life: the creature in Lovecraft's universe that most resembles the Deans is a being called Nyarlathotep. This creature belongs to the category of "Other Gods" (not the old ones like Cthulhu) and gets very nice nicknames like "Crawling Chaos".

Nyarlathotep is a being who enjoys causing chaos, death and madness wherever they go. They can communicate with humans, which they use to psychologically torture them and make them lose their minds. Something they seem to enjoy quite a bit. In the same way that the Deans view this sadistic battle royale, they have set up a fun game.

Then there is the ability to manipulate and alter the human mind, which is called into question in stories like Nyarlathotep and The Rats in the Walls (where it is apparently Nyarlathotep who messes with the protagonist's mind so that he tries to kill his friend).

This is something we've seen manifest in Nevermore in two different ways: the ability to trigger or unlock memories.

And the ability to change them. While we can't know if what was shown to Annabel is 100% real, we do know that showing her the end of her life caused a permanent change in the way she retrieves her memories: from the end backwards. If this memory is somehow altered, we also know that the Deans are capable of photoshopping people's memories.

Finally, Nyarlathotep has the ability to shape-shift, which allows them to appear as humanoids in several stories, such as The Oniric Quest of the Unknown Kadath or Dreams in the Witch's House. His human form is considered "unnatural", "strange" and "disturbing" by those who see it (remember that Lovecraft was extremely racist, so he always presents himself as a black man). As a pharaoh in the Randolph Carter cycle and as a charcoal humanoid figure in the second story cited).

Here, the human form of whatever the Deans are is also quite atypical: not only are they ridiculously tall (7 feet), they have heterochromia with a white-colored eye (which I would venture to say may be a reference to the cataract eye mentioned in the story "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe), and their synchronized movements are amusing on paper, but possibly strange to look at for the characters.

Otherwise, there are two other entities in Lovecraft's universe whose descriptions can be loosely associated with the Deans: Yogg-Sothoth and Azathoth. Both are beings of dual nature.

The former is an entity associated with omniscience and appears in stories such as The Strange Case of Charles Dexter Ward and The Dunwich Horror. and is described as "the key and the door".

Azathoth represents omnipotence, is the center of the universe, and is described as "the beginning and the end" or "the alpha and the omega.

Implications for the comic

The fact that the Deans have elements in common with Nyarlathotep brings up an interesting point: although Nyarlathotep has far greater freedom than other beings, they is a servant of Azathoth. In other words, them powers are subservient to a more powerful being whose plans they must follow. They may amuse themselves in the process, but they is still essentially a butler.

On the other hand, the Azathoth connection might be vague, since this creature is a lobotomized god, so he can't do much. But if the reference is to Yogg-Sothoth, it gets a little more interesting, because that entity is the one who is supposed to release the original gods when the time is right.

And I don't know about you, but these references have me wondering if the Deans are working for something much more messed up than they are, or if they're using the souls of the students to bring back something much more sinister.

are they associated with a certain color? what color do they wear the most?

Robin: I wouldn't say she's associated with a particular color (maybe red for her hair?). She likes to wear dark green though, and her mission suit is the X-Men blue and yellow

Jasper: Again, no set color associations, but they wear a lot of black

Prometheus: Warm colors, for all the fire symbolism. Normally they wear a white chiton.

6. how do they wear their hair? do they care a lot how their hair looks?

Robin: Look, you try taming down curls like that! Usually she just ties it back in a bun or ponytail, maybe a braid if she's got the time for it. She doesn't care all that much, as long as it's out of her face and isn't in complete disarray

Jasper: they've got a buzz-cut and have it split-dyed, but they re-dye it pretty often and with different colors. It's too short to have any major bad hair days, but they are pretty careful about not letting the roots grow in too much before they dye it again.

Prometheus: honestly, I don't really think about this character's hair. I haven't given much thought to their physical appearance, given they're supposed to be usable as a reader-insert in the fics, so their hair is purely up to the reader's imagination.

12. how long have they been around? do you know their birthday? is their birthday the day you made them or another day? what do they think of celebrating birthdays?

Robin: At the time of Symphony, she's 30. I don't think I established her birthday in the fic at all, but I envision it being somewhere in July. Usually I pick the birthdays largely at random, since I don't really care about horoscopes or any of that (and birthdays are pretty much random IRL too). She loves celebrating birthdays with her family, but she'd rather celebrate others' than her own.

Jasper: They're 19 at the start of Heartstrings, and their birthday is the day before Halloween. I figured it would be fitting for AHS. They never really gave much stock into birthdays, since they never had a lot of friends or family to celebrate with. But once they start dating Kyle (who gives like 150% into everything he does), he insists on making them feel special on their birthday, and he usually succeeds.

Prometheus: So... this one's tricky. In terms of their entire history, they're maybe 30,000 years old, as one of the earliest nightmares ever created (judging from the Neolithics scene in (Farewell) Wanderlust). However, they've only existed as a dream for the past hundred years or so, and that was after another hundred years caught in between. They don't have a birthday, but I feel like the Corinthian would pick some arbitrary date for them just as an excuse to celebrate. Like most other things, Prometheus finds it a little amusing on the outside, but treasures it more than they'd care to admit

13. what languages do they speak? how fluently?

Robin: she's fluent in English and ASL, and grew up with a little bit of Irish Gaelic in her household. She's also picked up bits and pieces of other languages from her operas and chorus work, but she's by no means fluent in those.

Jasper: they're fluent in English and can speak a bit of Cajun French. They'd like to learn ASL too, to help with their nursing career.

Prometheus: Another tough one... I mean, they're a dream. Is it fair to say every language? Like, they automatically speak their dreamer's native language, but it's easier just to write it all in English.

23. how would you describe their voice? can they sing?

Robin: I feel like she has a very lively voice. Usually she doesn't speak with much of a Deaf accent, given how much vocal training she's done, but it does tend to slip out more when she gets excited, or when she's not using her mutation to process the sound waves. And she's an operatic mezzo-soprano, she absolutely can sing (but you knew that already) :)

Jasper: they have a habit of either talking very fast, or getting so lost in their thoughts (and others' emotions) that they don't really talk at all. As for singing, they're not making it onto The Voice any time soon, but they can carry a tune. And they love to try all the little vocal "effects" when they sing, like Chester Bennington's vocal fry or Hayley Williams' glissandos

Prometheus: I don't have much for their voice itself (it's like the hair question, it's really up to the reader), but they do speak pretty formally as a product of their antiquity. I'd say they can sing, though - I like to imagine them singing lullabies to comfort the dreamers sometimes

27. if applicable, do they have a favorite sport? do they play any sports or prefer to watch?

Robin: She was never much of a sports fan herself, but she'll watch just about anything if it's a get-together with her friends or family. It's about the company, not the sport itself, for her. She did track & field in high school (but had to drop it due to a busy schedule), and isn't above tussling with her siblings once in a while.

Jasper: They absolutely adore playing roller derby, and they'll watch the Olympics when it's on too. They enjoy watching MMA as well - the real stuff, not the overblown WWE wrestling or any of that. They've developed a bit of a fondness for basketball too, since Kyle likes to watch the games.

Prometheus: I feel like if they do have a favorite sport, it's probably something lesser-known and historical like pitz, atya-patya, or harpastum. They're also very disappointed that gladiatorial games no longer exist. They don't exactly play sports as much as engage in life-or-death battles on the regular. Keeps one fit.

I don't know if you actually want advice, OP (culturally, you're indicating that you do by using complete sentences that are properly capitalized), but I can explain tags and comments.

Tags are topic identifiers, and this is important for finding any advice about machinery. You click on the tag and it will take you to posts on that topic. (I don't know if there is any good advice, but you might try looking for diy or other related terminology.) Some tumblrs are dedicated to specific topics and handle them well. But I think you're asking about commentary.

Reblogs are what you've already discovered; reblogs with commentary are probably what you're referring to. (I don't think there are specific names for that; mostly people call them 'additions' or just refer to conversation.) It's okay to add anything you want to a post, generally speaking, although it's sort of frowned on to add fandom commentary to serious or upsetting personal posts. Some original artists also dislike being compared to fandom things, but fandom artists usually don't mind being compared to other fandoms. Political posts tend to be divisive and it's best to keep on topic if you add anything to them.

It is, however, something that can annoy people. Some people don't mind someone doing this to a lot of their posts; other people really hate it and will block if someone does it more than once or twice in a row. (If someone goes to your tumblr and thinks you say a lot of annoying/wrong/boring/pointless/etc. things they may also block you.) It's probably better to observe how other people add to posts for a while, because it's different depending on the genre of post.

Stories are usually free game to add onto if they're similar nonfiction or a continuation of fiction (unless it's a dedicated original writing blog, which sometimes dislike that). With art posts you could add a story too, or create similar art in your own style, but in general additions aren't that welcome (or necessary, as it were). Political posts, as I mentioned, it's important to stay on topic, and people generally take an ownvoices approach to who should be adding commentary. Jokes you can add to if you're funny; people get very annoyed at unfunny additions, but are mostly okay with just kind of funny additions. There are some reblog memes too, but you should wait for people to demonstrate them first, so you know what to do. Fandom posts generally welcome collaborative additions, but please don't argue with people's headcanons, it's just as rude as always.

The fancy font is generally used for emphasis, usually in repeating a specific point someone else has made, to agree with it. It can also be used to emphasize your own words if you want to repeat them several times. Sometimes it's used to mock people, but usually only when telling a story about other people, not generally when speaking directly to someone.

I've been on tumblr regularly for a couple weeks now I think. So far so good. I changed some of my dash stuff. Prof pics and header is done. I wrote a line on the thing under my name. I reblog every now and then. I'm still not entirely sure how tags work. Or comments? Is that what you call them? So far so good I guess?

I miss reddit. I miss a lot of the niche subs I was on. I miss the discussion style of interacting with the other users. The organization of subreddits and comments threads just made so much sense to me. Who the hell am I supposed to talk to now for some advice about that super specific old ass machinery?

Tumblr is weird, but I can see myself staying here. Hell, I'm weird as fuck too.

They're people just as much as we are. If you don't like them, theres a handy-dandy feature called "blocking and moving on". Not writing rude messages. Not saying "Blazing a post is a pvp attack". (Because god forbid an artist use a feature to be seen)

I understand not wanting big corps to make their way on Tumblr. Believe me, I do. However Tumblr's advertising (or at least on mobile) is easilly skippable/you can scroll past or actually look at the ad if its somewhat interesting.

Also, Tumblr sells shoelaces for 19 dollars. That should only be like three dollars, but it shows that it really does need the money. (@indigoartistqueen mentioned that, along with other various things in this article) Such as paying programmers to create new features. Paying artists to create new logos and themes. paying the employees that check out the reports. (which I am rlly sorry for them bc I just so happen to keep finding really rude comments or things shipping an 8 year old with an 1000 year old.)

So, if tumblr got a little more money, then merch will cost less. Features will cost less. You can crab someone for less for goodness sakes. (Speaking if which, if you REALLY hate a celeb that badly, run them off with crabs.) But tumblr, just like any other site and app, NEEDS money to keep it running.

Also, don't you think SOME form of algorithm will be good? Or at least better search results? Because artists do tend to use very different tags. (Like memes, funny, lmao, lol, etc.) All that could be grouped under "Funny" so that people can actually find and search for their content easier.

Not to mention that with the way the tumblr staff are, I highly doubt they're gonna be implementing things that will cause a riot from their supporters, like the algorithm, bc the blogs ARE the algorythm, reblogging stuff they like to spread it out.

But just a better tagging system! i myself have stopped posting art as much because I just DON'T get seen! People just don't like or reblog my work, but if I were to blaze it, I would suddenly have 1,000 notes full of threats and "this is a pvp attack. Everybody block on sight."

Now, getting back to the celebrity thing. So many people have said that they don't want any political opinions to divide this site. Well I'd hate to break it to you, but we have, in some form, a type of political dispute. Usually its over the type of view one should have on a fiction character. How you can interpret them. What headcanons are correct. Which fandoms better. Which characters hotter. I could go on over the disputes! Plus the political side of tumblr! Science side of tumblr! Religous site on tumblr!

It never ends! If you don't like a celebrity, DON'T SEND DEATH THREATS TO THEIR ASK BOX! Some will actually commit it! Instead, BLOCK. THEM. It's easy! Don't pay attention to it! Just block them. If you really don't like them, send a cursed image, like I don't know, Patrick Star in stripper heels! A perfect circle thats slightly off! Do NOT send threats, because they're humans just like you! (Or as a Fairy myself, xenogenders as well)

Point is, quit trying to run celebrities off this site all because you're afraid of contriversal opinions that you don't agree with! Just block them! It's there for a reason! It's not like roblox where you can only block 100 people total!

Use the block feature. Don't fight fire with fire. It will ONLY get worse. You don't see firemen using flamethrowers, do you??? No! Please for the LOVE OF WHOEVER OR WHATEVER YOU BELIEVE IN quit spreading hate! It only makes things worse! You're only making yourself worse! Just because tumblr is an anonymous site does not mean you can do whatever you want... Because guess what? There's other humans right behind that post you just saw! (Unless its a bot ofc, that's a different story for another time)

Finally, a proper color scheme and design for Esther! She's deserved one for a while now. I'm quite happy with how she came out, this design is actually really cute. Gives her a quirk that I don't think any of the other girls fill. She's very indecisive, and tends to mash up designs she thinks are cute...even if they don't exactly work together.

Sexual Orientation: She's bisexual, but maaaaaaaan does she have bad luck with romance.

Ethnicity: Pinoy-Australian

Eye Color: Hazel, with a bead of green around her pupil.

Hair Color: Chestnut, but it's not naturally that way. It's usually a lighter brown.

Cup Size: D Cup, she's much more proud of her thicc thighs though. 

Other Features: Her bangs cover the front of her eyes for some reason, just like Bianca. She loves wearing croptops, especially ruffled ones, and due to her well defined abs and fit physique, it definitely suits her. Things with detached sleeves and the like are also big with her. When she grins super hard (its common), her eyes almost seem to just disappear under her bangs. Always wears magentas and browns, basically looks like a walking Valentines Day card. She plays up her cute genki girl attitude for maximum attraction. Absolutely *loves* things with bows. Her style seems to be a mish-mash of super girly stuff and casual athletic wear. Like she'll wear a tank top with a really frilly skirt, or a cashmere sweater with ballerina flats and tights and leotard. She has a massively varied outfit, and doesn't mind if she looks silly, she just enjoys feeling good in her outfits.

Overall Attitude: Esther is probably the "anti-Illia", a spunky girl who jumps into the fray no matter the concern. She's a hotheaded go-getter with a weirdly high amount of energy and a genuine passion for life. Which tends to mean doing very big and very dumb stunts to get the full enjoyment of the world. Esther is prone to pretty much showing up in whatever outfit she feels best in, even if it doesn't quite make sense for the occasion. This plays into the fact that she's rather...ill informed of how social norms are. Looking at how she acts, you'd think she came from a different country altogether. She's very in tune with her emotions, and wears them on her sleeve. This is what allows her to do her job so well, as she's the Architect of the Soul, coming up with the descriptions of the characters after Illustro creates them.

Problems: I'm surprised I never drew an ahoge on her head, cause she's kiiiiiind of dumb. She's very much like a Labrador puppy. Cute and adorable, but also doesn't know her own strength, seems to have traded intelligence for friendliness points, and once she gets going with something, she will not stop...even if she's obviously wrong. She's also very forceful, and oblivious at times, so she has a habit of accidentally forcing people to do stuff, even if they reeeeeally don't want to by sheer force of will and encouragement.  

Phobias: Surprisingly, for her go getter attitude, she has a big fear of needles and underground places. So caves are especially terrifying to her.

Style and Mannerisms: Easily flips back and forth between speaking rapid fire Filipino, Spanish, and English. If you aren't trilingual, it'll be almost impossible to keep up with anything she says. She's very touchy, and she'll absolutely embrace anyone in a massive hug (she's also surprisingly strong.) Usually can be seen rocking back and forth on her heels, as she's not a big fan of standing still. She's remarkably fast, and has in fact done the "naruto run" at least a few times in her life. She's definitely big on memes, and if you pay attention to the backgrounds of certain comics, she will absolutely be cameoing somehow doing some sort of meme. Always at the front of the line if walking with a group, chastising everyone fore being too slow. She has an aversion to nicknames, though is a bit hypocritical since she uses them on others repeatedly.

Relationships: She tries so hard here, but ultimately her luck with people just isn't good enough. She tends to either intimidate or scare off potential love interests. Illustro likes to tease her about it. In fact, the two share a very sibling like relationship, with all the ups and downs. 

Likes: Travelling, exploring world cultures is one of her weak points, and if she's in a country, she will absolutely get absorbed into it, picking up the fashion, food, mannerisms, and etc in less than a week. She's like a chameleon, it's actually really impressive. She's also big on composing music, although she's still learning the ropes in that regard. Movies are her bread and butter, and she will obsess over film and cinema history. 

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good.

Powers: 

-Serif-im is exceptionally sharp and precise. The blade never dulls, but more importantly, she can look into her enemies history, personality, and etc and just...rewrite it. Rohan Kishibe style. She's really skilled with the sword too, giving it properties if she can write about it on any surface. Sound effects come to life as well.

-Her realm of influence granted to her by being a Guardian is "Nature and Elements", granting her full control of flora, fauna and the classical elements alike...however due to her preferences, she tends to stick to water and ocean themed abilities.

Weaknesses: Physically, she's just a human. While the abilities granted to her by the sword do help, it isn't exactly HARD to overpower her or the other Guardians.

-She has NO patience for plans and can almost be guaranteed to stray from them if possible. If you need to find the weak link to break the structure of the team, she's usually it.

Favorites:
