Trigons Backup Plan
So! Trigon knew from the moment his Daughter was taken in by the Monks of Azarath that it would be difficult to turn her to his will. He wasn't stupid, he knew just how hard it would be to make his daughter turn on everything she has ever known in her (very short) life.
He can't really blame her, even he believed that indiscriminate mass murder was wrong until his mid-200's, he just needs to wait for her to grow out of it.
But until then he still needs a way into the DC Universe. And if his daughter wouldn't help, then he could always just make a 2nd one.
So, he searches and eventually finds a Couple of Scientists who seem to be good targets. They are researching Magic and Ghosts, so he makes a Demonic Pact with them. He will give them the secrets needed to complete their Research, and in exchange all he asks is that they help him bare a child.
They agree, and Danny Fenton is born.
Danny was supposed to become a Hellmouth when he turned 16, unlocking his Demonic Powers and opening the way for Trigon to enter the DC Universe so he could conquer it.
Instead he managed to get himself killed at 14. Then he managed to come back to life as a Halfa, he got himself adopted by Clockwork, and he usurped the Throne of the Infinite Realms in the span of 1 year, therefore putting himself on the same level as his Father on the cosmic scale.
So there goes his Backup Plan.
Dammit.
...
Meanwhile Raven is panicking. She had been messing around with her Friends when they asked about the Spells she could do, and she off-handedly mentioned that she could cast Family Tracking Spells.
One thing led to another, and they all wanted to know if they had secret family. Then they asked if she wanted to try as well, and for some reason she agreed.
And long story short, she has a little brother somehow. A little brother who is only a few weeks away from turning 16, who doesn't know the Azarathian Spells she learned to prevent his own transformation into a Hellmouth.
Oh shit...

Clan Karnstein
trigger warnings: violence, descriptions of gore, physical and mental abuse, and mentions of torture
Clan Karnstein previously resided predominantly in Europe, under the iron fist of a man known as Alexei. Alexei had been a footsoldier in the campaigns and incursions of Alexander the Great into Persia, a man of little importance or status who was turned by a Vampire in a bloodsoaked battlefield. After spending his human life crushed under the foot of men greater than himself Alexei refused to do the same in his undeath and set about creating his own clan with no ties to his creator.
Clan Karnstein, as he declared it, became an outlet for Alexei's darkest desires, an opportunity to act out the dark fantasies he never had the means or opportunities to produce before his death. At first he populated the clan with people that sparked his interest, “pretty playthings” to add to his ever growing collection. He hunted down any who had the misfortune of catching his eye, charming them, raising them up only to break them at their most vulnerable. Others he would chase screaming through the streets, their final moments consumed by terror. He relished breaking them, snapping necks, destroying their fragile mortality, just to fracture them anew when their new vampiric nature stitched them back together again - dooming them to an endless undeath of his own delicious torture. Alexei took great joy in finding new ways to take apart his toys just to put them back together again, all the while dancing them out like prized puppets whenever he sought to impress his own greatness upon someone else.
This cycle of breaking his toys only to let them heal before ripping them back apart eventually became boring to Alexei, forcing him to expand his interests. As the Enlightenment Era fell upon Europe he sought to add great medical and scientific minds to his clan in search of new ways to create permanently lasting harm to his “works of art”. With these new additions he created new beautiful ways to break the pretty things he had collected, being careful to spread just enough rumor to keep him safe from those in the communities that would want to do him harm and stop his collection of power. Alexei’s fatal flaw was his own obsession with himself. As Alexei spent time traveling, expanding his network to add to his collection, his spawn would find moments of respite in his absence. He never even considered that those under him would conspire to bring his self proclaimed empire tumbling.
Alexei’s experiments and utter disregard for the approval of the older more influential Vampire Clans made those of Clan Karnstein social pariahs to much of the Vampiric community. Even when the spawn managed to act outside his sphere of interest they were disregarded as useless whelps that had been caught in the vampire's web. This all changed when, in his absence, one of Alexei’s spawn conspired to create a life better for herself and the other vampires who were kept in Alexei’s foul clutches. After years of planning, Aoife O’Sullivan overthrew her sire, killing him and taking his place as the head of Clan Karnstein. Under this new leadership Clan Karnstein has worked to mend their reputation among the supernatural community and create allyship against the growing threat of the Hunter Orders. A decade has passed since this change of leadership, and Clan Karnstein seeks to take its place among the great Vampire Clans.

Amity Parker: yeah. Most recent Ghost King? The one who overthrew Pariah Dark? He’s our age. He’s only been dead for a few years. Hadn’t even been dead a year when he accidentally became the new king - he vaguely knew that the being messing with his haunt was the ghost king, but he had no idea that the Ghost King title was passed on via right of conquest.
Amity Parkers in Gotham
Casper High students graduated. As much as they loved their town (which now included ghosts as recurring residents) they knew they had to go. Not because Phantom didn't do a good job, or that ghosts attacked daily (on the contrary, after Phantom's intervention the destruction became concentrated in the Infinite Realms), but they had to go to a university. That's why most of them applied to Gotham University, it seemed right.
Sure, Gotham wasn't as cool as Amity, nor did it include dimension travel to the Realm of the Dead (Amity Parkers had access to the Infinite Realms as long as they abided by Walker's rules), but they had a great scholarship program, and the city was so chaotic because of its heroes and villains that it felt...like home.
The problem was that no one taught Casper's ex-students some basics: Feeling afraid, avoiding your attackers, not attacking back. Things that seemed like common sense did not go through their heads. After years of dealing with ghost attacks they had gotten used to it, and knew how to counterattack.
So, after their arrival they were knocking out rogues, stopping robbery, and looking bored at the prospect of dying. That made Batman suspicious of a secret society of young soldiers, although it didn't really make much sense, was someone training teenagers? The batfamily was worried at the prospect.
At some point, there was even an "undead" attack in what was called the Justice League; Of course, the Amity Parkers were the first to establish a secure site and prevent the invasion from advancing. At the end everything seemed lost and the undead epidemic was about to spread out of Gotham, but Dash snorted and said that he would "contact a friend that can help", which raised the suspicions of the League.
Danny, who was taking a year off before starting his university studies, raised an eyebrow at the group he had with his old classmates. He shrugged before transforming into Phantom and going to the place, in a few minutes the invasion was over and Bruce was 90% sure that there was a secret society training a teenage army.

Tried to mesh ideas from this thread and the really long one, and some other dp fan ideas i’ve seen floating about.
It took Deadman months of running about the Infinite Realms to learn Pariah’s successor’s name: Danny Phantom. Apparently the tyrants son realized even if his father was sealed, he could not take the throne. An Archduke tending to the prince had sprung the king and almost took out a two cities in the MidWest that don’t appear on government records electronically. Amity Park and Elmerton appear just fine in the physical records pre-computerization.
The fact Amity Park and Elmerton were known territories of the former prince of the Infinite Realms made it so, so much worse. The prince was sly enough to ensure no one inside of these territories could call for outside help, leveling his authority over a number of his displeased subjects in combat to ensure their compliance.
The JLD was not letting this slide. Especially with the reported deaths and mutations among the affected city’s populations mirroring long term exposure to the infinite realms.
This Danny Phantom was following in his predecessor’s footsteps and expanding Infinite Realms into the living plane by whatever means necessary.
Boston hated to acknowledge that for all the horrors Tyrant Pariah Dark did, at least it kept his son from growing in power and finding less obvious solutions to his whims. Slowly turning a city of humans irrevocably into a species that requires the ectoplasm of the Infinite Realms to survive was bad. The fact the Prince could expand it was worse.
And his fallout with the Archduke and them fighting across space and time?
Terrifying.
The summoning circle was a pain to get for John and Zatanna—no entity was willing to give it put for any typical favors. That fetch quest took a whole year. Then the circles required to summon Danny phantom were obscured. the need for everything from moon rocks, using a ‘nasty burger meat smoothie’ to draw the entire summoning circle, sigil, runes and the required asteroid was a pain for one circle. The others requiring a different material, including soldered iron and copper in two of them, was annoying pain in everyone’s hand. Why they have to square dance to gangnam style was. The Prince Apparent had to be taunting them.
Then they managed to get the chant done—why it included the titles ‘Master of Doom’ beside ‘Cuddler of Tucker’ and ‘Steward of Good Boy Cujo’ were up in the air. Working out a citizen of the Infinite Realms’ reasoning was a migraine waiting to happen.
The lights went out, and a glowing green figure appeared. When the lights came on, there’s a white haired teen twirling about.
John reminded himself the Prince only looked like a teen. A power-hungry crafty bastard masquerading as a teenaged human.
The Prince finally noticed them, squinted, and threw out an American peace sign before flying right into the protection circle.
The JLD glanced at each other, but continued. Maybe the Prince wasn’t that smart.
Then the Prince pressed his (tiny, human) hands against the circle and John knew that look. A Trapped Trickster. Eye flitting to the runes and circles. Breathing (did it even need to do that?) coming faster. Eyes wild and darting to and fro. (Why did it not feel anything like when he usually tricked overpowered assholes?)
The shifting was expected. What wasn’t was the off proportions. Like someone still learning. The eldrich form didn’t pulse with the usual menace, wrath and power.
It sounded like a dying child screaming. it sounded like crying and a wounded animal trying to flee.
The group never flinched throughout the transformations. John reminded himself it was a scare tactic. This Prince overthrew his Father violently, and was turning humans into his subjects.
But did they know that was bad if Pariah really raised them with the Master of Time?/m
A different child appeared, face the same as the first. John was glad Batman wasn’t in the room given the sudden resemblance to most of his Robins. Baby fat on its face, big blue eyes and messy black hair fiddling with its jeans.
Why did the Prince have a cellphone? And how in the seven hells did it manage to get service this far underground?
The Prince pressed itself as far away from them as he could and kept a steady watch on them as it… messed around on its phone?
John took a deep breath.
“Look Prince—“
“Not my title,” the Prince grumbled, tapping the screen louder.
“It most certainly is the closest we have to use,” John corrected.
The Prince glared at him. “Not /their/ anything.”
The Prince tapped at its phone, holding it to its ear. “Jazz? Can you track the BOOmerang again?”
None of them could hear the reply.
The Prince kept his eyes on his phone and them, tapping away with faint gaming sounds.
The JLD looked at one another. How difficult would it be to get the Prince to—
Detective Chimp cleared his throat, eyeing the Prince before speaking. “Danny Phantom—“
“Not my name now.”
The group paused.
Something sunk in the pit of John’s stomach. What would stop the Prince of Ghosts from possessing someone? Or worse, bonding to another’s body on a permanent basis to oversee the development of whatever experiments were done on the citizens of Amity Park and compare it to Elmerton’s?
“Kid, we can make him leave if you—“
“You’re the kidnappers,” the kid answered, scowling at his phone.
John raked his hands through his hair and exchanged a look with Zee. This. This was not in any way, shape or form part of the plan.
“And Phantom saved everyone when you never showed up.”
The kid eyed John in particular like a rabid animal before returning to his phone.
A minute later something flew in and hit the circle’s barriers. Repeatedly.
A green portal cracked open and out poured a slew of teens and two adults. Adults who had weird magic using something not from this side of the Veil, and so, so many anti-magic charms on all of them.
“Witch scum” yelled the large metal man, “get away from my son!”
The JLD severely miscalculated.
DP x DC summoning
So a classic staple of this crossover is some poor schmuck trying to summon Pariah and getting Danny
How this usually goes is Danny either flexes on them or nopes out of there
So in Hellblazer one of the things you want to summon a powerful otherworldly entity is not only their ritual, but their name. The ritual brings them there, the name is used as part of the binding that provides a summoner protection against the thing they just summoned
So just a thought
Danny has that happen a couple times, he’s summoned and he just nopes out of there and either assumes it’s just a halfa thing or just doesn’t notice it’s weird
So imagine the first time someone actually properly summons him
Be it Zatana or John who have or course heard about the change in management and have properly bound the spirit they’ve summoned. Hell maybe it’s someone like Felix Faust and he’s been summoned by a villain
Danny just peace signs and then immediately flies right into an invisible wall and nearly breaks his nose

What if the JL thinks that she is Pariah Dark's children? That the magic practitioner communities got some sort of self updating lineage tapestry they cobbled up together for reasons and it only shows who inherented the throne but not really in specific details so they based the inheritances on the Living World style of ruling.
So, they assumed that it was her younger brother who overthrew their father but he's still considered to be too young so the throne goes the eldest members of the family that have enough ghost powers to handle it, which means either Dan (he's older than Danny but is him and not him so the tapestry labels him as the oldest) or Jazz. They pick Jazz, for obvious reasons.
Vlad isn't viable because both Danny and Jazz (and Dan and Danielle) disowned him enough times for it to show on the tapestry.
Wonder what their royal titles would be tho?🤔🤔
DP x DC prompt where Danny becomes the Ghost King, but due to being a minor (16) he has to fill out some ghostly paperwork that designates a legal guardian.
Danny, not thinking much of it, lists Jazz. She’s 18 now and actually has custody of him at this point, so she’s the logical choice anyway.
Only, when the Justice League tries to summon the Ghost King to handle a threat– the summon grabs his appointed guardian instead.

Raven used herself as a demonstration. A simple form of the spell that would just list the name of all family members by blood up to 3 generations back and any forward. So she would see herself, her father, and his parents. This would also mean she would see any of Trigon’s siblings (if he had any), and any children they had. Or even if those kids had kids (since in DC, it is very likely that one of her teammates might have a secret child. Clones don’t show up unless they were made by mixing another parent’s DNA. Otherwise the spell considers them the same person as their template. So Ellie wouldn’t appear but Connor would.)
Anyways, Raven had done this spell before to see if Trigon had any sibling or parents that she needed to worry about and they came up negative. However, the variation of the spell she is using counts her generation to account for any lost siblings, so when she uses it on herself, she sees the normal names of Trigon and his parents, Divinus and Genitrix, as well as her own name. But as she was explaining, one of her teammates asked who the other name belonged to. When Raven looked again she saw a new name next to her own.
Daniel Fenton.
Unlike the others it looked like a human name and by the placement…..Raven immediately cast another spell, hoping it was a fluke.
The name stayed.
Then she cast a few more restrictions to just the children of Trigon. Checking her runes to make sure they were placed correctly.
The name stayed.
Her teammates watched as Raven got more and more frantic. She started casting more spells, narrowing down her search to find out more concrete information like the age of the soul, when it first appeared (she could have sworn the monks preformed that spell on her as a child to see if she had any siblings so either they did it wrong or the name appeared afterwards). She found out his age, birthday, skin color, eye color, hair color, height, and a few other basic things. But some things she could not find such as his location. (Since clones appear as the same thing as their template in magic, if you use a spell without specifically excluding them, the tracker either goes in multiple directions (like it keeps switching between them), or gets confused and breaks. This is why most magic users need an object touched by the person to find them).
And as Raven starts freaking out, her teammates ask what’s wrong. And she explains that apparently she has a younger sibling. And once she figures out his birthday…well, if they thought she was panicking before, they were very, very wrong.
