Some random SDV headcanon:
Gus recently bought a dance machine for his establishment and put it in the corner with arcade games. The owner of the Saloon after the purchase doubted that the dance game would pay off. But all his doubts vanished the next evening, when the main A.S.S. trio (Abigail, Sebastian and Sam) along with the Farmer dance Macacena by Girty Team. In line will be Robin, who persuaded Demetrius to practice dancing to Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen. Shane sits at a table, sometimes looking at the arcade machine and deciding if he had drunk enough to dance Kulikitaka by Toño Rosario in front of everyone. Elliott, depending on the amount of ale he drinks, will either invite Leah to Havana (tango version) by Camilla Cabello, or else he will fall down trying to dance Rasputin by Bonnie M. From now on, the Saloon will be filled every Friday with laughter, music, dancing and the sounds of falling. Gus laughs and sometimes jokes that soon the place will be called a cabaret.

Jason Lee Scott oc and au children and grandchildren
Jason's...fascinating. to put it mildly. I'd almost say his love interests have the same vibe as Billy Cranston's but with the added interest of it not being them trying to hide the actor's homosexuality. I don't know if it's just hard for people to think of a good and interesting way for him to play off someone or what but wow. There's something to be said about this.
Canon Children:
Currently none that we know of-which is actually WEIRD because he has a canon girlfriend/most likely wife. Emily. You'd think they'd give him a kid or two with her. Apparently not! so; none that we know of.
My OC Children of Jason Lee Scott:
Lauren Shiba;
The fun of reality hopping, is that time really doesn't matter much. They found each other during the Battle for the Grid, and bonded. When Jason got his memories back, he bided his time, but was intending to find her again, and give her back her memories, as well.
Eventually, he had his chance and took it. When he was able to get to his Lauren in her reality, she was living off the compound with Spike Skullovtich as her roommate. He was able to give her back her memories, and tried not to think too hard about the fact Spike is Skull's son.
They have a kid, who's currently living on the streets in a completely different reality. Eben Scott is sixteen and as far as he knows, his parents are dead. He's been very suspicious of power rangers his entire life, though would never go against them. He stays out of this reality's earth's team, but isn't above helping where possible. On the downlow, of course. By all accounts, Eben shouldn't exist. There was never a reality where this was supposed to happen, and Eben knows that better than anyone. He doesn't blame the rangers, exactly, but he does blame the grid itself for his parents deaths. The grid, and the Morphin Masters, who seem to be directly involved in it. Eben reasons that as long as he stays hidden, they can't erase him from existence.
Recently though, the gold ranger of the team he's become the self appointed baby sitter of has gotten grievously hurt, and Eben's this close to breaking into the headquarters and seeing if he's a good fit. He's willing to chance it for a group he's grown attached to, even if from a distance. Plucky, wary, creative, and far too comfortable with breaking laws, the biggest question if he does is will the team even accept him as a replacement.
Melissa (last name unknown);
Melissa was a deaf girl and friend of Kimberly who Jason became vey immediately taken with, learning sign language so he could better communicate with her. She was able to get away from one of Rita's monsters because she couldn't hear the music that entranced the other girls from the dance class Kimberly was running. When Melissa was able to get the rangers for help...she saw them transform. She never mentioned it to anyone, figuring Jason and the rest had a good reason to stay quiet about it. However when Jason went to become a Solar Ranger, Melissa let him know she knew. And made him promise he'd come back safely. There might not be much for him in Angel Grove, but she was there, and that had to count for something. When he came back, they got together
Their son, Mackenzie, "Kensy" Scott, is Deaf. Like his mom, he's fluent in sign language. Kensy is twenty nine years old. He's a red ranger, for the solar rangers team. Jason is constantly worried on behalf of his son, but Kensy has adapted. This works for him. Most hypnosis and mind control by sound monster's powers don't work on him. He 'hears' with his other senses like touch, such as feet and hands, as well as his suit adapting to his needs and strengths. Kensy's doing fine, and he's going to show everyone. He gets his parents are concerned, but it's okay. He's okay. He has everything down to an exact science. He can whistle. apparently loudly. He's practiced sounds enough to have a whistle system with his team. ASL is also great for stealth missions. He's dating his yellow, Starla. He's promised his parents he's not going to get in too deep or become unhealthy with this, and to remember to come home eventually.
Kensy keeps a book of recipes from wherever planet he spends at least a few days on. His current thought process is sell this and a biography about his life in space with his friends.
Rocky DeSantos;
Rocky said he thought Jason was cool and wished he could have gotten to know him better so was happy to be on the Zeo team with him. Here, this was meant fully romantically. It took Jason three months to Get It, and when Rocky was no longer blue and the rest of them became turbo rangers. When he was out of the hospital and Jason was mentally recovered from his ordeal at the hands of Divatox, they talked about everything. Slowly and awkwardly. How much Rocky admired Jason, how much he wished they could have been closer friends before Jason left, and Jason congratulating Rocky on being a good red ranger, and a great blue. His Blue.
They’re still active Zeo Rangers, though Jason slid back into red when Tommy got strong armed into retiring by his wife. Eventually, he’s going to give the legacy his youngest daughter, who in turn gives it to Tommy’s grandson, but for now… he and Rocky have it handled.
They have three kids and run a wrestling gym dojo combination. Victoria “V” DeSantos, aged 17, and Bess, aged 13. Kim offered to be the surrogate, as Aisha and Kat and Trini were busy with their own lives and had declined, and Kim was happy to help both times. Plus, Jason wanted the girls to not be bullied over being half siblings. Not that it matters. Nobody bullies the DeSantos sisters.
V isn’t a ranger, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t kicked seven kinds of ass of anything that makes the mistake that just because she looks effeminate must mean she’s not one of the toughest kids and town and took her kickboxing team at school to nationals twice in a row (three times if she can manage; she’s training hard for it). Not the sharpest tool in the box, but she gets there in the end. She’s got a heart of gold and a competitive streak a mile wide. She’s enthusiastic, cheeky, bur don’t get on her bad side. She might have a slow temper, this doesn’t make her a pushover. Can be intimidating with a smile. Don’t screw with her family. Especially on the holidays, Halloween, Christmas and valentines especially. That is family time and she will cause demons hospitalization. Thanksgiving’s fine though. But they have to bring a side dish and stay for dinner. This has made things interesting. She can be self centered and details focused, but she tries to think about others. While her dads are in charge, V is the benevolent queen bee of the house and keeps everything in line. Terrible with time and directions though, but that’s what her sister’s for. Not associated with a color.
Bess is less like Rocky, but she’s got all of Kim’s best qualities. Kind, compassionate, empathetic. She though, like Jason, tends to internalize and stew. Her goal is to beat all of Jason’s records he set in his teens. She doesn’t want to be the best, she just wants to prove to him she’s capable. And maybe a little bit want to be able to brag she’s better than her old man, but just a little. A bit jealous of her older sister. V has a long shadow it’s sometimes difficult to step out from under. Often explodes when she can’t get something perfectly the first time, but once she calms down she’s usually trying again. Definitely Jason’s favorite even if he doesn’t say so. She’s very good at directions and maps, and sense of time. She’s dependable and capable. She’s going to be the best one day, she’s gonna make sure of it. Will be Red when Jason’s finally forced to retire.
Tommy Oliver;
It started with a challenge, because for these two, it always starts with a challenge. Trying to out do the other in asking each other out, the date, and then the proposals. Because the one who can't top the last proposal has to say yes. because you can't one up a proposal if you're already married. So they've been engaged with no wedding date in sight for decades, going back and forth with proposals. Most everyone is amused, but their two kids are mostly Done with their dads. Travis Scott, aged 26, and Celeste Scott, aged 22, love their dads but cannot with either of them. Travis is a famous race car driver and a gold ranger, Celeste is going into mechanics with a focus on teaching, her goal being a shop teacher for highschool students and a red ranger, and they love their dads but everything is an eternal competition between Jason and Tommy, and it sometimes feel loving their kids is a competition, too.
Violet decided to help Jason and Tommy when they were looking at surrogacy, and was not amused by the fact they decided who the father would be with an arm wrestling match, best two out of three. Jason won. Violet insisted on naming the kid for them so it wouldn't turn into another contest. Jason and Tommy do love each other, but it's so hard for them to be anything but competitive. It's literally their love language. They do make a great team raising their kids, however, and Travis was a bit of a gearhead almost before he could walk, fascinated with cars and bikes and everything with wheels. His first (self chosen) halloween costume was the megazoid, made lovingly out of boxes, construction paper, paint, and paper mache. When he found out Tommy had been a race car driver when he and Jason were considering kids at all, well. His fate was sealed. He's got a rap sheet for illegal drag races, speeding, and a few other things. Jason had to take away the keys for a year while Tommy worked on getting Travis on board with the concept of "time and place" because while Tommy is dumb of ass and pure of heart, he does not fuck around with safety around mechanical objects. especially cars. Now, however, Travis is thriving. He is not on the same team as his sister, ironically while he hates how competitive his parents are, he and his sister are almost worse with their rival ranger teams. Travis is just like Tommy, but tends to have the same manner of dealing with feelings as Jason; bottling to the detriment of everyone around him. Intense, but well meaning. Strong willed and stubborn, but often gets into things on pure righteous fury, or out of a sense of competition or excitement. More than one person has asked him "how are you still alive".
Celeste was adopted in infancy a few years after Travis was born. Tommy has always liked the idea of adoption, and was always grateful for being adopted into the family he was. David threatened them both with their lives if they turned this into a competition, and watched them very very closely through every step. When she was two years old, Celeste stole Travis' toy car and he bopped her in the face to get it back. if you ask Jason, that's the moment the two became rivals. She's been a mild terror, taking apart most things she could get her hands on and later figuring out how to put them back together. The vacuum, the family car, she's just having fun. She also is a little bit of a know it all, especially over mechanical things, and will lecture to whoever listens, though the complexity tends to depend on who she's talking to. Her teammates? a good way to practice going over the subject with teenagers. Her parents? as indepth as she likes. Her brother? middle ground. He knows how cars work, but not how to fix in a pinch. She's become a red ranger because opportunity presented itself, and her brother's two towns over and she loves sending him selfies of her exploits. He's quickly gotten into it as well.
Farkas Bulkmeier;
When Jason came home to take care of his dad after his mom died, Bulk was there almost before Jason's friends were. He had Eugene in tow and they more or less gently bullied their way into getting him to accept help. When his dad finally died, miserable as ever, Bulk pulled Jason over to his place and they played video games and ate until they passed out in Bulk's bed. They have a mild competitive nature to their romance, and the little love affair surprised absolute nobody who took two seconds to think about it. They adopted two girls. Jason's a PE teacher at the highschool, while Bulk is the history teacher. Orla and McKenzie, aged fifteen and sixteen respectively, were adopted a couple years apart when they were in gradeschool.
Orla was originally from Stone Canyon, and Aisha knew her mom. They went to highschool together before she moved to Angel Grove, but they kept in touch. She couldn't keep her daughter, so Aisha helped her screen prospective parents. Jason and Bulk fit, and the paperwork was taken care of. Orla still talks to her mom on weekends when she can, but she loves her dads. Orla is into cross country running and shock put. She loves adventuring and hiking, and is constantly pulling her family out for hiking trips on weekends, as well as camping. Not the most popular girl in school, but she's okay with that. Currently getting into the idea of going into some form of nature study science as a profession. Not associated with a color.
McKenzie is one of the popular girls, though she's also into sports. Hers is soccer. She's also not afraid of standing up for her friends and sister, and her drop kick can shatter tables. Bulk and Jason made her promise not to get in fights in school, as it not only looks bad on her, it could cost them their jobs. So she's careful who she fights. Monsters who the power rangers can't handle are useful, here. At least one of them offered to hire her. Jason and Bulk were. Not Amused. She's considering acting as a career, just so she can do her own stunts. Everyone likes her because she doesn't let people walk over her, but she's managed to be nice about it. Likes history as much as Bulk does.
Trey of Triforia;
Trey owes Jason his life. If Jason hadn't taken Gold when Trey was injured, he probably would have died. Jason owed Trey his life. If he hadn't taken Gold back when he was able, Jason would have died. Having Zeo Gold in common was, it turned out, a great opportunity for bonding. They got closer, and when Jason's dad finally died...he didn't actually look back. Like Billy, he prefers spending more of his time on another planet with his alien lover. When needed, they swap back and forth with gold; it takes them both, accepts them both, and it's an exacting Color, but they have it handled.
They have a daughter. Helen is eight years old. She's a lot like Jason, and that worries both of them. Helen's broken someone's arm over the matter of being bigger and as the princess, more important than the smaller child, and Jason had to sit her down and have a long discussion why this was wrong. He's gone to Earth with her in the hopes if she has a lot of help, she'll get through her anger and internalizing emotions. For now, they're focusing on raising her specifically as a human child on earth. It seems to be doing good for her, and at least they trust who they left in charge of Triforia so she can have both her dads with her. She likes butterflies, and disney movies, and human candy. She likes the kids in the karate class she's in, and her honorary family.
Zack Taylor;
There really wasn't anyone else, honestly. They got each other. Blue and red is fine, and red and pink, but red and black? when it works it works and honestly they work. For obvious reasons, while they started dating in space, they didn't make it public when they came back to earth until Jason's dad died. At that point, there was nothing holding them back, and Zack understood the reason Jason waited. There was never going to be a relationship with his dad if he came out, and he was the sole caretaker. He had a responsibility. Zack respected that.
They have two kids, by surrogate. Kristen of the dark rangers, actually, offered. They didn't talk to the five much, but knew them well enough, after everything. When she offered it was actually a surprise, but they were willing if she was. When they decided they wanted a second kid, she was still willing. They're half siblings. Cleo, aged 24, is Jason and Kristen's daughter. Valeria, aged 18, is Kristen and Zack's daughter. Through this they became better friends with Kristen as well and that was really nice, especially for Kristen.
Cleo's more dramatic and adventurous than her younger sister. She will try anything once, do anything once. The whole world's a stage and she's one of the leads. Not afraid to take life by the horns and ride for all it's worth. A little bit of a mean girl, especially to anyone who dares hurt her sister or sister's friends. Was a queen bee in high school. She designs outfits for athletes. Sportswear is a passion of hers. How to make it fashionable and nice to work out in. Everyone deserves to look their best. She, herself, has an almost boho goth mix as a style. it was a mistake to let her watch incredibles; Edna Mode is her hero and role model. is not associated with a color. However, she'd be Fuchsia if she did. Unusual, and wouldn't have it any other way.
Valeria is 18 and in awe of her family and their legacies. She feels like she won't be able to be able to match any of them, but is trying not to let that bother her. She's captain of a breakdancing team, and mixes it with hard shoe Irish step-dance, which she's been taking classes for since she was four. It's something new, something fun, something her, and while she doesn't see the value in it, Zack and Jason do. Cleo's first experimental skort (skirt/short combo) was for Valeria to better be able to mix both dance styles. It's sometimes difficult for the sisters to talk to each other or show affection, but when they do its usually through things made for the other for their hobbies. Valeria also likes doing basic build type things, such as building sewing machines or computers. She only does this for family, but Cleo loves the custom machine she got. So does uncle Adam.
Currently working at a pizzeria, the tips are good and she likes being able to think while in high stress situations. It's where she thrives. Valeria is not associated with a color. however if she was, it'd be coral or black.
Billy Cranston;
Jason and Billy weren't actually expecting to get together; this kind of just. Happened. Jason's dad disinherited him, and Billy's parents welcomed Jason in with open arms. They've been together since Jason came back and became a scuba instructor. Billy became a science professor, Jason is still a scuba instructor. They have two kids, one adopted and one was a magic spell turned oopsie baby. Jackson is adopted, but not human. He's a Xybrian who ended up on earth after a freak accident with his parent's ship. He's purple haired, and Billy and Jason offered to take him in until a good Xybrian option could be found. No better options were found. He's 27 but still going to school as lifespans of Xybrians are far far longer than humans. He halves his time. school year is on Xybria, breaks are on earth. Extremely protective of little brother Zachary, who is seventeen. He does find it a bit of a whiplash, going from non psychic society to planet full of them, but he's adaptable. Is interested in becoming a cartographer. while associated with purple, he's not interested in being a ranger as of right now.
Zachary was intended to be something entirely different than what he is. Vile created the perfect copies of Billy and Jason's strengths and combined them. Unfortunately, this was what they themselves considered their strengths. Billy's intelligence of course, but his sense of fashion as well. Jason's fighing skills yes, but also his adaptability, and his sense of humor. Vile deemed this a failure, but instead of a spell destroying the young man, he got turned into a baby due to quick thinking from Zack and Rocky. Billy and Jason figured since he existed, they'd just raise him. He's fairly well adjusted, excitable, and really passionate. A little bit of a himbo, a little bit too smart for his own good too. not associated with any color. He was named Zachary Rocky Scott in honor of the two who managed to keep him alive.
Eugene Skullovitch;
They were paired up for a school assignment a little after Tommy was reformed and saved from Rita. It was annoying, especially with Skull being so cagey and Bulk straight up threatening him if he went to the Skullovitch residence or business. When Jason dared, he realized why. And had to get saved from Mrs Skullovitch flirting with him. Which earned Skull a lot of verbal abuse as he pulled Jason far away from the house.
While he found our later she was drunk and had mistaken him for someone older, it was still rather panic inducing. Also embarrassing for the Skullovitch brothers and Bulk. He had to stop Stan apologizing on behalf of her, and understood Bulk’s anger. Jason felt the need to make it up to Skull, and they went from antagonizing each other to friends to semi-secretly dating each other. Everyone knew except Skull’s family. Jason didn’t even know what made him angrier; the fact Skull felt he had to protect Jason, or the fact that he lived in Tommy’s house whenever Tommy’s parents didn’t live there, and Skull’s parents didn’t seem to notice. They have one adopted daughter. Skull’s a guidance counselor at their old high school, and Jason is a karate instructor. Rebecca Scott is actually Stan’s, but Stan died and his girlfriend died in a car crash caused by monster activity, and the newborn was the only survivor. Eugene would have adopted her with or without Jason there. Luckily Jason was there, and Jason fell in instalove with the baby. She was very small and he loved her.
Jason and Skull got married to make it easier for Jason to formally adopt Rebecca, in case something happened and because everyone felt distancing her and Skull from the Skullovitch legacy was the best idea, and this could be accomplished by taking Jason's last name. He was only too happy to do this. He was disinherited by his dad, but it doesn't matter. The guy lost out on getting to know a great kid. Rebecca’s blind from the car accident, and has a dog and a cane to help her around. She’s 15, and nothing stops her. She’s got a lot of caution, but very little outright fear. The power rangers will protect the civilians, and her skills and disability aids help keep her safe as well. She loves to read, and has read every braille book in the library twice. She’s aware her dads are power rangers, and most of her extended family. They’re not going to let anything happen to her. And she’s going to make sure nothing happens to them. Rebecca is opinionated with a very strong sense of right and wrong. She’s actually rather blunt, but tries to be nice about it. She knows her mind and she knows how to direct people, but she hates being in a confrontation. Not associated with a color, but it’d probably be red or bronze if she were.
Matt Cook;
Getting with Jason felt a little like leaning how to breathe again. Jason came home and Matt quickly got into sparring with him every weekend, like old times. It devolved into a lot of pent up rage related sex. And then all of that was gone…and there were two angry hurt teenagers who didn’t know how to be healthy about love or sex. Cut to fifteen years later, Jason’s a mechanic, Matt’s an accountant. And nothings changed. In between then and now, Jason had a kid. He doesn’t remember who the mother was, and anyway Diego Scott was left on his porch basically. He’s four. Matt likes the way Diego likes piggy backs. And dinosaurs and zombies. Matt likes how whole he feels with Jason and Diego. It’s pretty late in life, but he’s willing to make a go of this, if Jason is willing. And so far, he is. Diego keeps the two on their toes, being ready to get into the thick of everything and anything. But he's four, that's typical, and he's Jason's. And Matt thinks the kid's the best.
Emily (last name unknown);
Emily was Jason's on and off again girlfriend all through zeo. She saved him from ending up like Tommy, whose entire life was consumed by rangerdom. When he stopped being gold, he had a small moment of identity crisis, before he got pointed out he had a girlfriend who loved him no matter how much he'd flaked on her, and she was waiting at the beach.
During forever red, the reason he was late was her. He didn't want to lose himself, or worse, die. It was Emily's faith in him and their marriage and love that kept him from making this a habit. He took Red on again as a temporary, before giving it to Rocky. Emily kept him out of the habit. One look at her and their life, and he's fine. He's got what he needs. This is why he put the suit on in the first place.
Emily and Jason have three kids. Maya, aged 27, Rowan, aged 24, and Nathan, aged 16.
Maya's been transitioning for eight years. Jason and Emily were both surprised, but they love their kid more than anything and adapted quickly. When she was figuring out a name, they offered her the name they would have named her if they'd known she was a girl. She has it as a middle name, and chose her first name from another source. Maya's a scuba instructor like Jason. She has a lot of fond memories of how he'd teach her, and they'd go diving around Angel Grove's cliffsides and he showed her the different ecosystems. She thought this was the most beautiful and cool thing in the world. So, she's doing it, and loves getting new people into the hobby. She's a good big sister and knows her siblings well enough to know when they need a Break. She always manages to find them and have them come with on a scuba dive. Both younger siblings benefit from being forced to calm down and take care of their equipment. No hot heads allowed when you're doing scuba diving. She's also always got protein bars in her purse, and trail mix, and other things. Hangry doesn't work either, and food and water on hand is necessary. She's dependable, and takes her life seriously, if slowly. Not associated with a color.
Rowan's self employed. He's a little bit of a wanderer. He's got some ideas what he wants to do with his life, and does it. He's a ghost writer and can get up to four books done a month. He lives in a modified van and will go to Maya's or his parents when he needs a shower and a hot meal. He's been all over California, and has met several teams while traveling. The joke is that he's only going to grow roots if and when he gets a ranger color. This is true, he can't deny, but it wouldn't lock him down to a house or apartment; he likes his current lifestyle too much to just leave it. He's not really Jason. He knows exactly who he is. He's not searching for himself everywhere. He's found himself already, but that self wanders. When he is in Angel Grove, he's usually hanging out with Maya or letting Nathan and Nathan's friends hang out with him. He brings back gifts for his brother, and Maya. Not associated with a color, but he will be. It'll be a little unusual in that it's silver, not gold, but Jason's going to chalk it up with Rowan taking after Emily rather than himself.
Nathan likes the weird and grotesque and odd. He's a little bit of a weido, but his siblings love him. He's got a heart of gold and while weird, he's generally not creepy. Nathan definitely worries his parents. If anyone's going to become some pawn of rangerdom or villainy, it's Nathan. He's always spelunking or exploring abandoned places or picking up dubious and possibly cursed items. Jason's just. waiting. for this kid to start wearing monochrome color coordinated clothing. Or start acting like an utter brat. He knows the signs, he has Tommy and the dark ranger kids on speed-dial. He's waiting. Nathan's annoyed by the perceived lack of faith in him. He's capable, and he's fine. Curious to a dangerous extent, maybe, sure, you could say that, but he's also got a line of caution in it, too. He's genre aware, you could say. He knows when to walk away. But...well. Nathan's competitive and Jason knows this. He's not betting against Nathan getting into a situation out of a sense of justice or because someone challenged him. Nathan does hang out a lot with his siblings, especially with his older brother. Maya's kind of embarrassing, but just because she knows him so well, and his friends tease him his sister knows how to talk him down from things so well. Nathan will be a red ranger, in about a year. And Jason's going to know the instant it happens.
Trini Kwan;
They got together in their teens after putty!Matt got them thinking about it, and after a short time apart, they got back together. Jason and Trini co-parent Minh, and have a kid of their own. Terry Scott is twelve and while deeply enthusiastic over everything, he's rather reserved. Fairly calm, and watchful. He's always pausing before talking. Definitely a mama's boy. However, he likes battle borgs with Jason, and they do watch each new season together. Terry's got no interest in being a power ranger. When Trini died, he had even less interest in it. Kid keeps Jason out of rangerdom, because how could he go back in when Minh's currently a yellow, and Terry's still grieving his mom. Terry and Minh's relationship has gotten really strained, and Jason's trying to keep the family together. Trini'd want him to try.
Katherine Hillard;
When Jason came back, Tommy and the rest were Zeo at that point. When he began really interacting with them again he noted to his surprise Kim had left for a scholarship after graduating a year early, and Kat Hillard was the current pink. Jason was enamored, but respected she was with Tommy.
While they defeated the Machine Empire, Tommy broke up with Kat on account of the trauma. Jason accepts he was her rebound, but they’ve been together since and he’s content, and so is Kat. They have one daughter.
Dena Louisa Scott, aged 27. Dena Louisa is a cartoonist for the local newspaper, and hopes to one day have her comic strips published across America. She also posts her little strips on her own website. The “bugaboo scouts” is a tongue in cheek recounting of the stories her parents told her about their time as rangers, though focusing on the more hilarious aspects of rangerdom. A group of tiny anthropormorphic bugs with attitude are tasked with saving picnic grove! With lots of shenanigans. Smart, quiet, though more in the line of Jason’s brand of quiet. She does have explosive anger, and has been going to therapy for it. Constantly bucks against authority figures, though she’s taught herself how to work through the urge to argue, especially if it’s a fair point. Loves her parents, who are supportive, and often does her best work while at the park. Not associated with a color. She is however part of the mentor flavored comedy duo. They offer advice, though it’s flavored by the past experience of her parents, which isn’t always helpful to the situation at hand. And Dena’s general advice is either “well hit it really hard” or “have you tried the power of friendship?” And are vague enough to not be overly helpful. Is quite nice to the monsters though, and the minions love her while their bosses. Do not. She’s successfully caused two galactic unionizations.
Kimberly Hart;
When Kim and Jason both stopped being rangers, there was a…growing pain, reacclimating to normal civilian teen life, to be sure. With Jason also coming off the heels of having just buried his mom. Kim and Jason spun their wheels for a bit trying to get around the awkward and be there for each other. Eventually it settled into a devoted romance. They have two daughters. Kristine Alana Scott-Hart, aged 21, and Jenny Rose Scott-Hart, aged 17.
Kristine is planning on going into NASA, fascinated by the stars and the adventures of her parents but more interested in the very close by solar system. She’d like to explore Mars, Neptune, Pluto, rather than anything farther. Her reasoning is the ocean is on the planet and barely explored, in lieu of more interesting subjects. Their neighboring planets are a bit like the ocean, and she’s keen on seeing what secrets they hold first, before anything else. She’s been told if she sees a dumpster however, don’t for the love of the grid open the stupid thing. Nobody wants to know what ancient space warlord’s inside. Somehow managed to be more science minded than fight minded, and Kim and Jason don’t know how that happened but they love their kid anyway. Billy thinks it’s hilarious.
She has a fairly easy going relationship with her parents. She can tell them things and they trust her. Not associated with a color, and gets along well with her sister, who is.
Jenny Rose is going to be a kickboxing champion. She decided this at five years old and it’s never changed. She’s a violinist and a kickboxer, and uses the dichotomy to confuse people constantly. Would rather get in the ring with someone than date them. She’s the pink ranger of her team. It’s a little confusing until someone listens to her coaching the putties on how to kick better, and then it starts making sense. When she’s older, she wants to own a dojo and run self defense sessions and kickboxing classes for teens and kids. It’s always surprising to people, but she gets along well with her sister.
Aisha Campbell;
Surprising everyone, including himself, Billy was chosen for the peace conference, not Jason. Rocky became the blue mighty morphin, and Jason struggled with the new dynamic. He often butt heads with Aisha, who stood up for Adam and Rocky against the Red when her boys wouldn't. Adam, Rocky, and Aisha became a throuple, but Aisha also married Jason, who while he did have to get used to it, likes Rocky and Adam as friends and paramours, and likes that Aisha is happy. Together, Aisha and Jason have one son, Seth Landon Scott, aged seventeen.
Seth is not a ranger, and he's not interested in being a ranger. He's more interested in being a park ranger for national parks. Any would do, just so he can be out in nature. He's not really interested in the ocean, and is far more interested in forests and mountains. strong willed, stubborn, imaginative, and happy to help. Is friends with a lot of rangers and ranger's kids, but, he's happy not being a ranger despite their not so subtle recruitment efforts.

previous part
JJ snaps you out of your thoughts. There's an expression on her face that you can't find the words for. "Y/N? What does she mean?"
You have to swallow. Your throat is tight and you can barely breathe, so you cling to her to keep from sinking to the floor. You can't take your eyes off the two in the interrogation room.
"What deal?" Spencer sits up straighter than he already does. His whole body is tense.
Cat shakes her head. "I thought you weren't here to talk about her or you."
When Spencer slaps the table with his palm, she doesn't even flinch. You do, the harder, and JJ's hands clench into fists. But you only notice this out of the corner of your eye. "What deal, Cat?" His tone is harsh, leaving no room for Cat's games.
She sighs. "Maybe you should ask her yourself. After all, she did come here with you, didn't she? I don't think she'd skip this dance." Cat looks past Spencer to the one-way mirror, straight through it, as if she knows you'd be standing right there. Her grin is crooked and ugly. "Come on, Y/N. You should know I don't bite. Not without notice, anyway."
You feel JJ's gaze on you as you enter the interrogation room without a word. You close the door behind you and out of the corner of your eye you notice Spencer looking at you. But your gaze is fixed straight on Cat. You stop right at the door.
"It's good to see you again, Y/N."
You don't have to be a mind reader to know what's going on in Spencer's head. It's practically written all over his face. Again?
"Hi, Cat," you reply curtly. You feel like shooting her.
"I always knew you lived dangerously. But I didn't think you were stupid. Yet you were the smartest one on your team. No offense, Spencie." She says it like she's bored out of her mind, not like the whole situation could completely escalate in the next second. Spencer tries not to let on, but you can read the confusion on his face. "I guess I was wrong about that."
"What are you talking about?" you ask, involuntarily taking a step forward. Cat takes it as a sign to keep talking.
"I know you killed my partner in crime. Must have been quite a mess, I'm told. Shot right through the head. Kudos, Y/N. I knew you were smart, but you're also badass. Who would have thought." She raises her hand and inspects her filthy and chewed fingernails. Her gaze drifts to you without her moving her head. She looks at you through her eyelashes, which makes her look crazy. "Quite a pity about him. But he was really just my accomplice's boyfriend. So, not worth mentioning."
Accomplice? Boyfriend?
It only takes a brief moment for everything to come together in your head. Apparently, all emotion falls from your face, because Cat looks extremely pleased. "You didn't play by the rules, Y/N. And now someone else has to pay for it."
In three steps, you've crossed the room and pulled Cat from her chair. Before Spencer can stop you, you push her full force against the nearest wall, causing a gasp to escape her mouth. You press your forearm against her throat and she lets out a hoarse laugh. Her gaze mirrors yours. Fierce and unyielding. The pressure on her throat intensifies and she has to cough.
You feel big hands on your shoulders, yanking you back so that you stagger and bump into the table. For a brief moment, you want to fight back as you leap forward again to put a stop to Cat once and for all, but Spencer extends his arm to allow some distance between you. You don't look at him. Out of anger and out of shame, because this isn't you.
"What's going on here?", he finally asks when you've pulled yourself together a bit and he's sure you won't kill her the next chance you get. "What's she talking about, Y/N?"
Cat's look is challenging and you know full well she's not going to say anything. She's dropped the bomb and now it's up to you to make sure the explosion isn't too devastating. You look at Spencer and tears form in the corners of your eyes. There's no way to get around it. And he better hear it from you than from some crazy psychopath. You owe him that much.
"When you were arrested", you begin, hoping your voice doesn't sound as brittle as it does, "it was clear to me from the start that Scratch couldn't be responsible. When you were taken to Millburn Correctional Facility instead of protective custody, it should have been obvious to the others. It was no accident that they sent you there. It was too personal." You can barely look at him, which is why you stare at the floor. "It couldn't have been Scratch, but there was no one else who had a score to settle with you." Your gaze shifts to Cat, "Except for her.
I had no proof, nothing. But I was one hundred percent sure she had something to do with it. So I talked to Emily. She gave me the day off, and I came here." You suppress the urge to knead your hands, so you shove them into your pants pockets. Your gaze wanders back to the floor, though you'd like to look at Spencer. You want to know what's going on inside him, but you don't dare. "Cat denied having anything to do with it at first, but I didn't believe her. And then she made a deal."
"And that included?" asks Spencer. You have to swallow.
"She would get you out of jail, after all, she put you in there too. I knew you wouldn't make it through jail. And not because you were too weak, but because I knew there were some people there who wouldn't bat an eye to hurt a FBI agent like you. And I couldn't stand that, so I went for it." With each word, your voice grows quieter, though you try to sound as determined as possible. But the pain weighs you down and takes away your breath. You remember the visit then, and what it had cost you.
"And what did she want in return?" Spencer's eyes glisten as if tears have formed in them. He blinks once, and the shine disappears. "What the hell did she want, Y/N?"
You can't stop the tears streaming down your cheeks Your heart is beating fast, like it's about to jump out of your chest. You take a deep breath and brace yourself for what follows. "She - she wanted me to leave you. Cat knew that prison could never hurt you the way I would if I abandoned you. If I left, with no explanation and no goodbye."
Spencer's shoulders sink and his muscles are no longer stretched to breaking point. You don't dare look at him, so you stare at Cat, whose grin has actually widened. Psychopathic sadist.
"Actually, Y/N was never supposed to come back either", she continues the explanation, but Spencer continues to look at you. "That was the deal. You weren't supposed to tell anyone about this and never come back, but you didn't stick to that. You thought if you killed the guy and I continued to be in here, you could go back home and get on with your life." Her grin disappears and suddenly she looks incredibly bitter. "Very reckless, if you ask me. My birdie knows you're back home, and as a warning, she left you a trail of dead married men. Apparently you got the message, after all, you're here. That they are dead is all your fault, Y/N. Because you couldn't stay away from your beloved Spencer." She looks from you to Spencer. "It's tragic, isn't it? She loves you so much that she took on all that pain just so you could get out of jail. How incredibly selfless of her. And I'm pretty sure you weren't exactly kind to her when she returned, were you, Spencie?"
Spencer and you can't look at each other, so heavy is the pain on your shoulders. All the anger, despair, and confusion that had spread through you since you saw each other again gives way to an all-consuming feeling of pressure that you can't shake. The only thing that can give you both some comfort is the clarity that has been created. Spencer now knows what really went on, and you no longer have to keep secrets from him. But the matter is far from over.
You look to Cat, but can't find the words. She's won.
You leave the interrogation room without looking at Spencer or saying another word. What could you have possibly said? JJ looks at you with widened eyes as you rush past her. She has her cell phone to her ear, probably talking to Emily, but calls after you, but you don't stop. The air in the building is stuffy and you feel like you're choking on it. Your heart is racing and you feel sick. You just want to get out.
"Y/N." Spencer's voice forces you to stop. You stop so jerkily that you almost fall. When you turn to face him, he's standing right in front of you. His gaze is hard. He opens his mouth, but he doesn't know exactly what to say either.
"I can't, Spencer", you beat him to it. You want to turn and keep walking, but his hand curls around your arm. At the touch, you're struck by lightning.
"Don't you think we should talk about this?"
You should. Definitely. "She had the men killed because I returned", you whisper. "She killed them because I couldn't take it anymore. Because I wanted to be with you. It's all my fault, Spencer. And I'll take the consequences for that."
"So you're just going to leave? Without explanation and without goodbye?"
You don't want to leave, quite the opposite. You would love to throw yourself into his arms, kiss him and never let go. You want to tell him you love him, but you can't. "I can't stay, Spencer. If I did, she would kill more people. I can't be responsible for that. I'm sorry."
You turn away from him, but as you take a step forward, Spencer pulls you back, making you slam against his chest. Your hands settle on the soft fabric of his shirt as his settle on your cheeks, forcing you to look at him. His expression has changed. There is deep sadness in his eyes and he tries to blink away the tears that have formed in the corners of his eyes, but they fall down his cheekbones. All at once, he looks so young. "Promise me you'll come back? Back to me?" One of his hands clasps both of yours, still resting on his chest. He holds them tightly, afraid of losing you again.
You smile weakly at him and tears come to your eyes too. Your smile is honest, but sad. "I will always come back to you."

resisting you was always impossible (temily)
Summary: Tara Lewis x Emily Prentiss. Emily and Tara are forced to spend the night in a motel when a storm hits. (oh no there’s only one bed).
Word Count: 2k
A/N: This is my first fic that doesn't include a reader and I'm proud. I was forced to write this because there just aren't enough Temily fics, and I'm completely obsessed with them (also would like to marry them both pls and ty<3) Please let me know what you think! I'm hoping to write for them more in the future :)
Read on AO3
Emily swore under her breath as she pushed her way into the motel room, her clothes and hair were absolutely drenched, and she was currently rethinking every single life decision that had led her to where she was now.
Stuck in a motel room.
with only one bed.
with the ONLY person that she’d been trying to avoid getting into any situation with that blurred the lines of professionalism.
“Oh, thank god, we’ve got towels.” Tara sighed in relief, grabbing the ratty towels from the cupboard as Emily shut the door.
She chucked one in Emily’s direction and used the other to squeeze the water from her hair as she made her way over to her go-bag she’d dropped onto the table.
She looked over her shoulder at Emily, who stood frozen, and frowned. “You okay, Prentiss?”
Emily cleared her throat and made to squeeze the water out of her own hair. “Yeah.”
Tara snorted and turned back to the bag. She rested the towel on her shoulder to free up her hands. She unzips the bag and rummages through for a moment before pulling out an old band t-shirt. She turns around and holds it up for Emily to inspect. “This okay? It’s about all I’ve got.”
“Pardon?” Emily frowned.
“You need something to change into unless you plan on catching hypothermia and considering you didn’t have your go-bag in the SUV, you’re stuck with my clothes.”
Emily struggles to breathe. “Right.” She nods, “Uh, yeah. That’s fine.”
She steps forwards and takes the shirt from Tara. “Thanks, I’m gonna...” She points in the direction of the bathroom and without waiting for a response quickly disappears.
Once the door is shut behind her Emily proceeds to quietly freak the fuck out.
Of course, it was her luck that a storm would hit on their drive back from interviewing a perp at Arizona state prison (who they suspected of being connected to their current case). The rain was so bad Emily could hardly see the road and Tara had suggested stopping for the night and picking back up in the morning when the rain would have hopefully calmed.
Which was a smart idea, but Emily had protested up until the point the car slid and nearly drove off the side of the road.
With anyone else, this situation would be annoying but fine.
But Emily’s heart fluttered stupidly around Tara and she’d taken to telling herself multiple times a day that she was Tara’s boss and that nothing could happen.
It wasn’t helping.
“Suck it up, Prentiss.” She told herself. She’d taken down serial killers; she could handle an inconvenient crush.
Emily stripped out of her clothes, leaving only her underwear on, which thankfully hadn’t been soaked through because honestly, Emily didn’t know how she would have coped if she had had to ask Tara for some. She hung the clothes over the side of the bath to dry and slipped on Tara’s T-shirt.
It was an old Rolling Stones one, and despite her and Tara’s height difference, it barely covered her ass.
“Perfect.” She muttered, and with one last look in the shitty motel mirror, Emily opened the door and stepped back into the bedroom.
And then proceeded to nearly have a stroke.
Because Emily was painfully aware of how attractive Tara was, but she was totally not prepared to see her very long, very beautiful legs. She was wearing a vest top along with short sleep shorts, and it was just a lot of beautiful skin.
“You okay, Prentiss?” Tara asked for the second time that night, with a smirk that Emily desperately wanted to kiss off her face.
“Yeah, I, uh,” Emily scrambled for something to say, “I tried phoning Rossi to let him know what happened but there’s no cell reception.”
“I’m sure they’ll figure it out. We can leave early tomorrow so we can be back at the station for nine.” Tara said as she leant down to grab something from where it rested on the bed.
Emily managed to avert her eyes from Tara’s legs just before the women straightened up and met her gaze. She held out a chocolate bar. “Want this?”
“You have food? You’re a godsend.” Emily praised, happily accepting the bar and chucking her phone onto the bed in the process. They’d been planning on grabbing dinner when they’d gotten back to the hotel, which obviously hadn’t happened. There was no way they were going to be able to order food in this weather and Emily hadn’t eaten since lunchtime.
“Of course, you don’t keep snacks in your go-bag?” Tara’s brows raised in disbelief.
“No, but I will be from now on because that’s genius.”
Tara chuckled. “It’s not a lot. Just that chocolate bar, some trail mix, and a few nutrition bars, but they’re great for emergencies.” Tara’s lips spread into a smirk, her eyes dancing. “And apparently warding off hangry Prentiss’”
Emily scoffed. “I don’t get hangry.”
“Oh, yes you do.” Tara cackled, taking a step closer to her.
“No, I don’t!”
“Sorry, but you do.”
“I do not! Take it back!” Emily ordered, stepping forward to jab a finger at Tara.
“It’s okay Prentiss, a lot of people do.” Tara’s voice lowered, that irritating smirk still painting her lips.
“Yeah, well I’m not a lot of people!” Emily rebutted and knew her face was heating up from her proximity to Tara.
Their breath was practically mingling, and Emily desperately needed to step away. To end whatever this was.
“Oh, I’m very much aware,” Tara said in a way that couldn’t be misconstrued as anything other than flirting. Her eyes dropped to Emily’s lips as her fingers brushed her chin, angling Emily’s head upwards, bringing her mouth dangerously close to hers.
Emily couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think, couldn’t do anything but stare deeply into Tara’s eyes. They twinkled but there was a softness behind them, her grip was gentle on Emily’s chin giving her plenty of chance to pull away, but Emily couldn’t remember any of the reasons she should.
So, instead, she nudged her head forward and met Tara’s lips.
And Tara kissed just like she did everything else, with precision, care, and passion. Emily’s hands threaded through Tara’s hair as Tara’s hands ran down her back.
The first sweep of Tara’s tongue had Emily whimpering. Even if she was thinking clearly, she wouldn’t have been able to name a single person who’d even turned her into putty this quickly.
Emily kissed back with everything she had, fighting Tara’s tongue for dominance as they stumbled back towards the bed.
They both breathed heavily as they separated, Tara sat down on the bed and tugged Emily into her lap. Her hands ran down Emily’s side, settling on her hips. Tara stared at her with soft eyes and swollen lips and Emily thought she was the most beautiful thing in the whole world.
But as she stared at Tara her mind began to clear and the full reality of what Emily had just done hit her like a ton of bricks.
“Oh god.” Emily gasped, eyes widening in horror. “Shit. No. Fuck. Oh god.” She scrambled out of Tara’s lap and off the bed, moving to the other side of the room to put as much space between them as possible.
“We can’t- I shouldn’t have- I-” Emily blew out a breath as she struggled to find what to say. Tara just stared at her confusion and hurt shining in her eyes.
“I’m your boss.” Emily settled on, looking at Tara with desperate eyes. “We can’t do that. We can’t be...” It hurt more than it should have. She could feel her heart cracking.
Tara stood up and approached Emily. “It’ll be okay. There are plenty of agents that have dated while being on the same team.”
Emily shook her head, “I’m your boss. It’s different. There are rules in place for a reason-”
Tara scoffed, “Yeah because of Rossi.” She tried to reach for Emily’s hand, but Emily just swatted her away. “Really, Em?” Her eyes flashed with hurt. “Look, I understand it’s not an ideal situation but are you telling me that you’re just going to be able to forget about what just happened?”
“It doesn’t matter. We’re both professionals. We don’t need to make a big deal out of this.” Emily said mostly to herself. Trying to convince herself that she hadn’t just fucked things up.
“Right. Fine.” Tara muttered, not able to hide the way it hurt. She shook her head and made to step away, but Emily’s hand flew out to stop her.
“Wait.” She waited until Tara met her eyes before releasing her wrist. “I’m sorry. I didn’t want to hurt or upset you. I shouldn’t have let myself get sucked in. I should have stepped away instead of kissing you.”
Emily wanted to make this better, to get that sad look off of Tara’s face.
Tara sighed, “It’s fine, Emily. Let’s just eat and then go to bed. It’s late and I’m tired.”
It was barely 8 o’clock but Emily didn’t want to argue so instead she nodded her head.
The tension when they ate made Emily want to scream. They spoke strictly about the team, keeping the conversation light, and steadily avoiding brushing hands as they shared the bag of trail mix. It was more exhausting than the whole of Emily’s week combined.
By the time she crawled into bed, Emily was ready to hide under the covers and not come out for at least a week. She hated to think of what the next girls’ night would be like...
Tara turned the lights off, plunging the room into darkness before sliding into the bed. “Night.” She murmured.
“Goodnight.”
Emily rolled onto her side, facing away from the other women and tried to fall asleep.
The silence lasted for barely fifteen minutes before Tara sat back up, turned the lamp on and said, “You know what, It’s not fine.”
Emily rolled back over and sat up, wincing at the frustration in Tara’s face.
“You feel something too, right? This wasn’t just about sex. There’s something between us and I don’t want to ignore it just because of some bullshit fraternisation rules that only exist because Rossi is incapable of keeping it in his pants.”
“There are rules for a reason. What if something was to happen in the field, I wouldn’t be able to be objective. If I had to discipline you for a reason it would fuck with our relationship, and plus it would mess with your career if people knew you were sleeping with the boss.” Emily closed her eyes, blowing out a breath before looking at Tara with a pained smile. “I feel it too, okay? I-”
“Then stop fighting it,” Tara ordered. “I don’t care about any of that. We’ll make it work because I really like you Emily and I’m so tired of pretending I don’t.”
Emily’s body melted. Tara reached out and caressed her cheek causing Emily’s eyes to flutter close as she leaned into the contact.
“Let’s just give us a chance,” Tara whispered.
Emily opened her eyes, looking at Tara with adoration and love...because that’s what it was. It wasn’t an inconvenient crush or simple infatuation; Emily had fallen in love with Tara and there was no way of fighting that without breaking her own heart and possibly Tara’s in the process.
Emily steeled herself with a deep breath. “Okay.”
Tara’s eyes lit up in delight and Emily found the sight adorable.
“But we have to stay professional at work.”
“Yes, boss.” Tara teased before leaning in and meeting Emily in a soft kiss.
Emily hummed against her lips, “You’re gonna be the end of me, Tara Lewis.”
Tara chuckled, “Not if I can help it.”
She leaned back in and met Emily’s lips. After a few minutes, Emily groaned causing Tara to pull away with an amused look. “What?”
“I’m just imagining the teasing I’m going to receive from Rossi and JJ when they find out.”
“Well, let’s not think about that now.” She kissed Emily again.
“Yeah, you got a better idea?” Emily hummed in between kisses.
“I’ve got a few.”
Emily slid her hand up to Tara’s neck, dragging her in close and kissing the smirk off her face. Tara mewed and Emily just kissed her deeper, dragging her body down to hers and letting the rest of the world fade away as she focused solely on the beautiful woman on top of her.

Emily in Paris, episode 5, or why no one wants to have a talk?
I write this as I think again about how much potential a series about how this one was nominated to the Golden Globes by apparently - presumed innocents, you know - bribing people from the Academy with visits to the set and luxury hotels in Paris. I mean, I will fall for this too. Imagine a behind-the-cameras comedy about a humble member of the crew who has to indulge in that pandering and corruption, and all this mixed with the commons issues of daily life in Paris. Yeah, the real one. Anyway, until we have that, we can stick to the series itself. Episode 5, there we go.
Mindy and Emily are hanging at a café next to the latter's place, our Chicago girl talking about her sentimental woes. She likes Gabriel but she feels bad for not having known about Camille being his girlfriend, especially since she's nice (and very pretty too, Emily's conclusion is that it should be forbidden to be both). While Mindy's recommendation is to act normally, Emily decides to avoid Camille and Gabriel at all costs. To no avail, because - after accidentally asking for a condom with her coffee and her croissant, to Mindy's amusement - Camille shows up. She just pulled a Hollande, that's it, she just brought croissants to her lover.
(Seriously I love this girl)
On her way to Savoir, Emily receives an invitation to an influencer lunch organized by the cosmetics brand Durée. Emily has loved Durée from the moment her friend Cindy - I had misheard that and I thought she was called Mindy, too - stole a lipstick. But, there's a problem, as Julien tells her a few moments later. They used to be a client but they split from the agency in such a bad way that they are not even mentioned at Savoir. Focusing in solving the mystery about what really happened, she asks Sylvie about why the agency doesn't works with cosmetics brands. After giving her a little lesson on how you should correctly knock at the doors - that's so relatable, suddenly I saw my 8 years-old-self being scolded at the school, that's exactly how I learnt the lesson Emily receives here - Sylvie dodges the question and asks her to think about a campaign for a luxury matress brand.
Quite irrelevant, comic relief talk about sexual postures with Luc and Julien ensues. Whatever happened, Emily is resolved to go to that influencers lunch, so she lefts for the Place Vendôme where a lot of people is already hanging out at Durées party, reception, whatever you can call it. On arrival, she receives a small gift bag, meanwhile a dog receives one considerably bigger. He has more followers. Anyway, I don't think Emily is really resentful towards Cashmere. I mean, I make that face when I see dogs too. And cats. And birds. And horses. And... well, you get the picture.
A scene I really liked follows in which we can read the messages posted by the influencers, in different languages. It's effective, not paritcularly groundbreaking - not even in Emily in Paris' universe - but I really liked it. It just was a little weird when the boy who is writting in Italian uses osservato to post about the cosmetics, while the rests are posting about being "obsessed" or awkward variations of Yas, Queen! Did they really meant something else than being observed or seen? Did they meant ossessionato? Meanwhile, the CEO of Durée is just in the nearby room, scrolling over their posts, just to see who has the privilege of having a personal talk with her.
Emily decides to call the CEO's attention by doing something most people wouldn't do: starting to eat the decoration. Olivia - that's the woman's name - sees it and likes the content, for some reason. So she wins the personal talk with her. We then learn Olivia knows Emily from her meme that was retweeted by Brigitte Macron. We find that also the Daily Mail gave coverage to that thing. Why would anyone quote as an achievement or a great moment in their lives to be featured in the Daily Mail is a mystery to me. Olivia tells her that agencies are expensive and obsolete, and that she considers influencers are the future. So the eventuality of talking to her about Savoir goes out that window giving to the Place Vendôme. Maybe in other occasion, since Olivia has invited her to lunch. The two of them alone this time.
Coming home that evening she bumps into Gabriel and Camille. The latter insists in dragging Emily with them to their date/excursion/whatever. Quick montage ensues and they end sitting at an art installation which reproduces Van Gogh's Starry night. Pretty! Also, it's evident they have fun together. Why not to have a civilized chat about this. Maybe Camille is tolerant, who knows. But if everyone used their communication skills properly, Humanity would, no doubt, lost a part of its literary and cinematic patrimony. I want to sit at one of these expositions, too, by the way.
When Camille leaves them for a second to greet a friend, they talk about the kiss the other day. She apologizes, he says that kissing her back was a natural reaction (ah, si?) and they seem to agree in that it meant nothing. Which clearly means the contrary.
The meeting with the mattress company takes place the next day. Sylvie's idea is lukewarmly received by the CEO, but when Emily talks about putting the bed in instagrammeable places of the city - I hate the sound of that - like the Gardens of the Luxemburg or the Louvre. Not a good idea to create that level of high expectations, but this is how the serie works. She goes to that lunch with Durées woman and discover she wants her as an ambassador of the brand. It's there when Emily has to confess she works for Savoir and that she would like to persuade her to go back to the agency. Olivia's opinion is a very polite Thank you, not happening. And a warning against Sylvie.
Speaking of what, she's waiting for Emily at the office, annoyed because now the mattres company woman wants the bed at the Louvre - something impossible - and because she discovered her little video from the influencers lunch. From her point of view - and its a pretty reasonable one -, it's a problem if she made publicity for free for a company while others pay them for the same. And she tells her to have her Instagram account closed.
Censorship!, Mindy reacts later that evening as they hang together in Montmartre. Again one almost expect Gene Kelly to show up dancing, but that would be too realistic. But Emily has decided to do as told by Sylvie, not without a last farewell tour /montage thing. It ends with our two characters walking down to the Rue de l'Aubrevoir. That's the last post and the end of her Instagram account. But no.
Like one of these encores at the end of the New Years Concert in Vienna, her account is ready to put more pretty inconsequential things to look at in this world. It turns out the woman from the mattress company saw the post and wants the bed on the Place Dalida, just at the end of that street. And wants Emily at the first one posing in that bed.
There is a long series of reason why puting a bed on open air, in the middle of the city, so people can make photos laying in it is a terrible idea, whether in Paris or Villabajo (*). But it doesn't matter, Emily's account reopens, the campaign starts and she poses with Camille who is very happy because Gabriel has her as a neighbour. You all need to talk. Gabriel sees that photo and, obviously, likes it. We all ship them, boy. Aaand that's the end. We could have it all but we are heading to a boring love triangle. Cuadrangle. Whatever.
(*) Yeah that town only exists in soap commercials. Still bad idea, Emily.

Chapter 1
Canon and OC; Deigo x OC, Klaus x OC platonic
*as always I do not own any part of the canon characters or show. I am merely writing my own adaptation to the storyline. Nor do I own any gifs/gif credit.
**I do own all things related to the OCs and additional story elements. And apologies, I couldn't find any "young" gifs of them, but they are all meant to be young adults to show age in this fic.

On a typical sunny day in 1989 a girl was born under extraordinary circumstances - her mother beginning the day not pregnant and ending it with a newborn girl. Reginald Hargreaves was unable to purchase their gift from God, but as fate would have she would still become linked to the obsessive billionaire through Klaus, his disappointing Number Four.
One fateful night in her bar thrust the two into each other's life and they soon became close friends, their tragic pasts a common denominator. Emily tried to aid her friend and his family in thwarting the apocalypse, but her life ultimately lost when the shit inevitably hit the fan.
This is not that story.
Our story takes place five years after the Hargreaves family jumped back in time after unsuccessfully saving the world; bringing with them all the knowledge gained from their first chance at life.
-----
"I'm telling you Diego. We can do this," Klaus said pleadingly to his brother. "She said if she had only gotten out a few years earlier, she would have had a better chance at life. We can give her that chance."
Diego stopped just outside his room. He eyed Klaus as he begged for him to agree.
"Please Diego. She is...was my friend," he corrected himself. This time travel thing was hard to get used to. "I owe it to her to at least try."
It was true that Emily had been as good a friend as someone could to Klaus back then. He'd beena raging drug addict who brought nothing but chaos. There weren't many people who could handle something like that. She'd been one of the few; even managing to get him into rehab a few times.
Not that it had mattered. Klaus had a standing bed there back then and the staff a running pool on how short his next break would last.
But it had been obvious she at least cared for him. And that was more than Diego could say for himself. Klaus was his brother and he had given two shits at the time if he lived or died.
"Fine," he finally agreed.
"Yes!" Klaus said quietly, but triumphantly.
With his second time around, he wanted to get it right. Make amends for his previous infractions.
Starting with this.
"But we do this my way. You got it," he said definitively, getting close enough to stop Klaus' little victory dance. He wanted to make sure his brother understood just how serious he was.
"Got it," Klaus said with a mock salute. "If I remember correctly, right around now would be the 'Halloween lockdowns' as Em liked to call it," Klaus said with a small smirk Diego's way.
His brother looked at him confused "Lockdowns? Where is she? A prison?"
Oh, that's right. He doesn't know.
It had taken Klaus awhile to pull what nuggets she had revealed of her past. He knew, without a doubt, Diego hadn't gotten shit out of her. The few times they'd met his brother was partial to being an asshole to anyone who even remotely took Klaus' side and she had been no different.
"She's at a religious boarding school," Klaus explained quickly. "A real scared straight kinda one. From what she told me though, the night before Halloween the nuns do one final sweep of the grounds, leaving the front door unlocked."
"Pfft. Morons," Diego huffed, the fact that he was speaking of godly women lost to him completely. "So it's a dash and grab. Easy."
"Yeeaa...about that," Klaus began tentatively. Diego had only just agreed to spring Emily from Hell.
"What?" Diego asked lowly. He knew he shouldn't have gotten his hope up so easily. Nothing was ever so cut and dry with Klaus.
"She's also, sort of, kinda in her own lockdown. We may need Five to help us too," he added reluctantly. "Which is fine," he quickly continued, keeping Diego from immediately changing his mind. "Ever since we got back Five has really been a team player. I'm sure if our little heist idea came from you he'd be on board. A hundred percent."
Diego couldn't take this shit with Klaus a second go 'round. He wanted to break Emily out of school? Fine. He needed Diego's help? Also, peachy fuckinf keen. But if he insisted on keeping secrets along the way then Diego would walk his happy ass on out the door and Klaus could go fuck himself.
He grabbed hold of his brother, who flinched more from shock than fear, and drug him into his room, away from listening ears. He tossed his brother onto his bed as gently as he could. Klaus watched as he pulled his desk chair over, sitting on it backward and leaning against it.
"Before I ask Five anything you are gonna spill your guts and give me all the Intel you have on Emily. Otherwise, I'm out and you're on your own."
Klaus groaned with Diego's ultimatum. "Fine," he grumbled. "I'll tell you everything. But you have to swear you'll get Five to help no matter what," he countered holding up his pinky.
"What are you, six?"
"Nothing is more binding than a pinky swear," Klaus said, wiggling his fingers enticingly.
"You never quit do you?"
"Nope," Klaus said with a satisfied grin.
"Jesus Christ." Diego sighed with a roll of his eyes, but nevertheless he linked pinkies with his brother.
"No matter what," Klaus reiterated.
"No matter what," Diego reluctantly agreed before immediately letting go of him.
"Good," Klaus said clapping his hands together and rubbing them conspiratorially. "Now. What do I know about Emily?" he asked himself, feigning an attempt to really dig deep into his thoughts. "Em, Em, Em."
"I'm losing my patience Klaus."
"Alright, fine," Klaus said with an exasperated sigh. Nothing much had changed with Diego this time around - he was still far too serious for his own good. "I know she was one of the few dad couldn't buy, obviously. I deduced that one myself," he admitted proudly.
Diego rolled his eyes and sighed. Even without drugs Klaus' mind still ran a million miles a minute. "Focus," he said keeping his brother on track.
"Right," he replied forcing himself back to their present storytelling session. "She was unbuyable. Her parents were religious and pure," he said mockingly, throwing up the the scouting sign of three fingers. "When Em didn't fit it to their perfect life, they shipped her off and forgot about her. To St. Christopher's School for the Misguided to be exact."
"You mean that old school convent on the outskirts of the city?"
"That's the one," Klaus said in agreement. "She's been there..." he checked his wrist as if a watch sat upon it. "Twelve years now," he added looking back to Diego.
"Twelve years?! What the Hell Klaus?? I thought she was just sent there."
"Yea. When she was six," Klaus said with a snort. "That was after all the exercisims failed," he added nonchalantly.
"Exorcisms!?" Diego was beginning to regret his decision to help. "Look. I don't know what kind of "school" you're taking me to, but how do we know Emily even wants to break out?" he asked in a half-hearted attempt to back out.
"Because she makes it out on her own after another three years anyway. But she always said if she'd got out just a few years earlier she'd have gone farther in life. Between you and me, I thought she turned out just fine the way she was," he added leaning in conspiratorially.
"I don't know about that. She was friends with you."
"Hey! Unfair!" Klaus said feigning offense. "Trust me," he continued, shrugging off the insult. "Once Five is on board, everything will be fine," he said reassuringly, but with little affect. "Then it really will be a dash and grab. Five will just do his little time warp thingie and..." He sucked air through his teeth and gestured for in-and-out. "We'll have Em out and free as a bird in no time," he added with a sigh and a smile.
Diego stared at him, only reacting when his wide grin faded. His mind had already been made up, but it was sti fun to see him sweat. He promptly grabbed him up and pulled toward the hallway - and all the way to Five's room.
------
"Klaus has something he wants to ask you," he said pushing past their brother when he answered the door.
"And what might that be?" he asked, confusion evident on his face as he shut the door behind them.
Once through the threshold doego released his grip on Klaus and took solace off in the corner, waiting to see how well he did with Five. Their brother would be a much tougher sell. He'd never even met Emily.
"Well," Klaus began with a nervous laugh, glancing back to Diego hoping to get some backup. His brother simply urged him on. Klaus sighed and his entire being deflated with his refusal.
"Klaus, what the hell is going on? I don't have time for another one of your ridiculous pranks," Five complained impatiently.
"I need your help rescuing a friend," he admitted freely, turning back to Five.
Five laughed freely at his request. "No," he said letting his facial expressions fall flat. "The last time I tried to help you I ended up having to warp out of police custody."
"But you did get out," Klaus cut in trying to avoid a retelling of their most recent mishap.
"And I had to be the one to explain it all to dad. Alone," he added with rising anger.
Klaus grimaced. "Yea. Sorry about that. I wish I could have been there, really, but something important came up. Real now-or-never type stuff."
"What? Like avoiding the inevitable end of the world? Because last I remember we've already fixed that problem and I can't think of anything more "now-or-never"," he threw back at him.
He knew Five was right. "I guess when you put it like that, I could have made it," he admitted almost sheepishly.
Five merely scowled at his admission.
"But this is different," he added quickly, pushing past Five when he went to kick them out of his room. Klaus shut the door and leaned on it for added security he would finish hearing him out.
"How so?"
Klaus' smile returned. His interest was piqued. "Because we...are gonna..."
Diego rolled his eyes. His sales pitch was quickly dying. "Because you're gonna have me," he stepping forward.
"Not that I don't doubt yoir abilities, but how does that any different? Other than your presence of course."
Their brother's smile widened. "Yes!" he exclaimed before Diego could answer, outstreching his arms toward him and crossing to be by his side. "Because Diego here is an extra set of eyes and ears," he added, cradling his shoulders and endearingly placing his hand on his chest.
Diego glared at Klaus. "Because I will make sure Klaus doesn't screw anything up this time," he answerd shaking himself free.
Five remained silent, considering Klaus 'mission'. He had become anxious lately to do more than just train and follow daddy's orders - even if it was what they all agreed to before their jump back. Not that he would ever admit that to Klaus, but he supposed it could be worth it of Diego was on board.
Klaus stated expectantly and his brother who eyed the two of them. "Say I help you. What is your grand plan to save...who exactly?"
Klaus smiled widely at Diego, ecstatic that things might actually go his way for once.
"Emily," Diego answered, ignoring Klaus.
"Emily?" Five asked surprised with a slight laugh. "You mean the bartender psychic?"
"Telepathic," Klaus corrected him. "But yes. Her. So will you help me? Please?"
Diego rolled his eyes at the duo. "Just say yes already. I can't take much more of this," he added exasperated, dropping down onto the chair at Five's desk.
"Alright fine," he finally agreed.
Klaus began to shower his brother with thabks. He sure hadn't been as appreciative of Diego's allegiance. He huffed to hide his offense. "Klaus!" He pointed at his wrist when he had his brother's attention.
"Oh right. So. Now that I have the best two brothers on board..."
"Klaus," Diego warned.
"Alright, alright. Stop getting your panties in a bunch."
Diego jumped up ready to strangle him.
"Hey! Calm down!" Five intervened. "Don't make me regret helping you," he scolded his brothers. "Now," he continued once the two had parted ways. "When and how are we supposed to save Emily? And from what?"
"I'm glad you asked," Klaus responded slyly before repeating the plan to Five
------
"There it is," Klaus whispered to his brothers, pointing out their entry point.
They crouched hidden among the bushes just outside the point of no return. A nun came out of the front door, followed by two others, and just as Klas said left the door open. Diego huffed quietly to himself and rolled his eyes. Klaus smiled widely.
"Okay," Five said shifting his jacket and bit and readying to jump. "Where is her room?" he asked staring at the building.
It was your typical, old-school convent turned boarding opp. The layout would be easy to figure out.
Klaus shut his eyes and mimicked going over a map with his fingers. "It should be, if memory serves me right, last one on the left, second floor," he said opening his eyes and looking toward the building too. "She always said one of the only good things she remembered about this place were the sunsets," he said quietly to himself with a sad sigh. "West side," he added.
And just like that Five was gone.
-----
He reappeared with a small pop in a girl's room. She was sound asleep, her back to where Five now stood. He crept to her bed and gently tried waking her.
"Emily," he whispered. "Emily wake up."
The girl began to stir, turning toward him. The sight of a boy by her bed had to be a dream. She rubbed her eyes and yawned, sitting up to wake up further. The realization that he was real hit her. Her eyes grew wide in terror and she screamed.
Five quickly covered her mouth. "Emily, please."
She quieted her screams realizing who he was and the fear in her eyes grew to confusion. She mumbled something into his hand.
"What?" he whispered, uncovering her mouth.
"I'm not Emily," she managed to stammer out quietly.
