im feeling kinda hopeful for the reboot but i feel like were not talking about the leak having clear ai generated images for the designs

yeaaaaaah 😬 I'm especially concerned because it looks like the AI generated images aren't just being used to speed up concept art, but also for design. a lot of the baffling design choices in the reboot suddenly become much less baffling if they were AI-generated designs that a human just cleaned up. excellent example: Bloom's (mercifully scrapped) promo outfit, with the incoherent layers and fucking unreasonable necklace situation

frankly I feel the same about Flora and Musa's outfits. I know some people like these and I'm sorry, but they're godawful- Musa is wearing between 1 and 4 layers of shirts, and no matter how you break them down, you're left with something completely fucking ridiculous. is she wearing a micro-jacket over a vest over a two-tone babydoll top????? what IS this???? WHAT IS HER BELT???? what personality is this meant to convey? the fishnet gloves and ruffled shirt are contradictory both to eachother and to the vaguely western influences elsewhere. this is heinous and incomprehensible.

Flora's outfit at least conveys A personality, but the layers are still incomprehensible, and the textures don't belong together. see also: the fucking short sleeved jacket with the whack ass lapels and the nonsense necklaces? that screams of AI. do NOT zoom in on Flora in this picture if you value your sanity

it's marginally improved in the release version, but back to the AI allegations: Musa's layers still don't make any sense, we've already addressed Stella's figure skater bullshit, and those random cutouts in Aisha's outfit also smack of potential AI

but by far the worst offenders in this regard are the Trix.

again, I'm sorry, I know a lot of people like these designs, but I just can't. the random cutouts on Icy, the random lines and armbands on Darcy, the HUGE initial belts on all three of them, and putting Stormy in a GOLD TONE?

these stupid fucking accessories, again, smack of potential AI to me. they're unnecessary clutter damaging once-streamlined designs that only needed to LOSE the initials

none of this is even to mention the fairy forms, which are likewise over-designed in a way that's extremely typical for AI images. I hate it so fucking much
