❝ .... ❞ What Wes couldn't believe was that Pork had the money to buy professional therapy from what's clearly a Drumer, judging by his well maintained pink suit. Wes was bias and had a lot of benefit of the doubt for Drumers, the scar on the dog's eye was most likely permanent and not a result of him not being able to afford treatment for it.
The fake devil horns were unexplainable though.

❝ I should of expected a therapist would find their way to Pork eventually. ❞ —said the old otter.
Brok folded his arms, having a problem with Wes's response simple as it may have been.

❝ That's cruel ya'know? You were on Lia's case. You know what I've been through. ❞

❝ Just an observation. No need to get sensitive. ❞ Wes was quick to deflate Brok's criticisms.
❝ Please follow me to my office, the both of you. ❞ Wes turned and walked back towards where he had initially came.
Wes's office had the familiar silver and purple hues characteristic of The Drums, Brok took a seat in front of Wes's desk.
Knowing Jack wouldn't be familiar with this room, Brok silently pulled out a mobile (wheeled) chair for the dog to sit on.
Wes had an office computer in front of him. The hardware wasn't too unfamiliar but under the hood this was an advanced Triweb computer.
At the question from Wes, Jack's ears perks up and he walks right on forward to the old otter with a saunter of his hips a bit, before a bravado intro was spoken.
"Greetings there! I'm Jack Kibou! Crisis Counselor of...." He's about to say Hell, but...should he scared this poor old guy with that?
"Of Atlasia? Here in the heart of the slums!" He says before straightening his suit.
"And I'm accompanying Brok today, to.....help monitor his progress, with staying organized and uh....working on his responses to stressful situations and such." He smiles, total good lie on the spot.
"I hope you don't mind? I'll be as quiet as a mouse." Jack assured to the officer.

Yet some technology is pretty similar to our own.#While other things like the aircars and the cleanbots. Or Dr. Mink's nanomachines. Or robots in general are highly advanced from us.#Brok's aesthetic is kinda a vibe despite how depressing it can be. lol. It's Nier Automata energy.#Like damn this post-apocalyptic world is beautiful in spite of itself.#I like how all the characters dress modernly. Graff literally wears baggy jeans and a hoodie.#The ''stunted'' future of Brok also gives me Stray energy if it was 2D animated. Stray as a Disney Afternoon cartoon.#It really is too bad this game didn't take off like Stray. Stray was also from an indie studio and got REALLY popular despite that.#I feel like gaming has a bias towards 3D games over 2D hand-drawn games like Brok. It's unfortunate.#In fact. It kinda makes me question how in the world Undertale got so popular? ( 2D = Sprite based. Same difference )#🤔 I think there might be an underlying x-factor here that Undertale had.#I mean I know what it was to an extent. The STRENGTH of the Mother/Earthbound fandom.#And as for something like Shovel Knight. Shovel Knight had immaculate marketing and sponsors prior to it's release.#There's also Hollow Knight but I'm actually extremely unfamiliar with Hollow Knight personally.#I can't tell you anything about Hollow Knight's history and reception without Googling it.#Oh. and Cuphead but that comparison is unflattering. According to Brok's artbook the game was frame-by-frame hand animated.#But Cuphead is on another level. To this day I feel like the fact that Cuphead used traditional cel animation is nuts!
