Something I've noticed while watching boobtubers like Rev and the like: a lot of their userbase in the comments bitch about leftists as if we're the ones coming for their waifus...

As if the conservatives behind 2025 wouldn't gleefully ban their animes as 'pornography'?

Like, puh-leez. The anti v. proship malarkey spans all political isles.

There are unhinged anti leftists and there are unhinged anti rightoids (most of the not-terminally-online alt-right would fall under that category--again, see Project 2025. Yes, there are much more pressing issues in that document than anime waifus and fictional content, but anime waifus and a good chunk of fictional content would still be banned for being 'immoral,' so~).

And--well, most of the proship-aligned persons I see tend to fall under the purview of "liberal, at worst." The grand majority of the people I'm moots with on main are leftists, socialists, and commies, and they're largely pro-kink, pro-fiction, anti-censorship.

Like, for the most part, we're not the ones responsible for the big ol' hammer of puritanism coming down on the vidya games or anything else, for that matter.

(Liberals, though... Yeah, fine, they tend to promote tokenism under the guise of diversity and tend to go on those funny little moral crusades almost as much as staunch conservatives--I see them throwing around the term "degenerate" almost as much too, in some online spaces--but it only proves the adage "scratch a lib and a fash bleeds" blah blah.)
