#🎃 cryptid sighting#Adventures around Portland#Okay I’m (predictably) in love with Ground Kontrol#It wasn’t the vapor wave paradise arcade I kinda hoped it would be -definitely more of a utilitarian vibe#-but that wasn’t a detraction because it was still fabulous#SO MANY PINBALL MACHINES!#Tbh that was the main draw for me- I’m not very good but I love weird/gimmicky pinball and they had more than I’ve seen 1 place in eons#And THIS! This machine! The Bally Addams Family machine holds a special place in my heart as the one that got me into pinball as a kid#I killed many hours and what little allowance I got on the one at our local theater. Never got gud but that never mattered much to me#I spent some time on the video game cabinets too but they were more in demand & I didn’t want to get in anyone’s way#So glad I finally went!#Now I’m going to hide in my nice quiet apartment for the next few days hdhdhdh#Alas no Polybius cabinet- I half expected one of the ‘recreations’ to be tucked in a dark corner in one of the side rooms somewhere#- what with it being a local conspiracy theory/legend and all
