Reasons I tend not to write much physical romance/physically romantic intimacy:
-10%: I'm Ace and feel unsure about how to approach it
-90%: I don't like the word lips. Or mouth. (So it kills the mood to write it out unless being vague about it)
#Thus vague is the direction I tend to go#Most recently realized this in considering romance for Wisp#And alongside the 'But who? All the NPCs feel more like friends or love each other more'#And the 'Romance not a big part of their arc'#I also thought about the logistics of writing it#And went#Hate it#Hate writing kissing#And But will do it for Casrad and Tremnan#And Hieran and Caidyn#And Maelic and his partners#The boys and other partners deserve their sweet and spicy kisses#Hieran and Caidyn fit a 'vaguely written romance with metaphors' vibe anyway
