also the fact that if William and Anne are living out the story while also writing it, William reviving Romeo is technically necromancy

So as far as Romeo knows, this is a fucking wizard who is also a god of creation that made him simply to kill him, until his wife stole his power and started a chain of events ending in Romeo coming back from the dead, and then with the breaking of the quill he technically witnessed these gods fall and ascend once more when they regain control.

In other words, yeah the others are probably confused by Anne, but Romeo has a scene in which he met Anne and Will as themselves. Acknowledging that they control the events of the story. He met his creators and then has to go and live out the rest of his life knowing that he is simply a character to these two.

Love that Anne just consistently waves the quill around while in character as April. Like yeah that's my bestie April and her emotional support feather that she stole from her husband whom we've never seen or met. This is completely normal.
