I'm here to say Joel wasn't a good person, he wasn't different to Amshel, and he wasn't a father for Saya at all. Joel was experimenting with Saya as much as with Diva, he saw them as nothing but subjects of investigation and inquiry. "Let's see how the environment affects the development of these creatures, what would happen if we treat one like a human while we treat the other like an animal". That was Joel. He didn't love Saya as much as Amshel didn't love Diva.
