The real reason why Bruce took so long revealing his identity to Oliver was because the man knows about Bruce's crush on Alan Scott. He cannot have his street cred with the JL be destroyed by Oliver telling them about Bruce, as a teenager, crying for days when the original green lantern (that isn't actually a green lantern) disappeared and was believed dead.
