It's so weird rereading The 39 Clues bc when I first read them like a decade ago and they formed me into the person I am today I was the same age as Amy. I was Amy. I've never seen myself in a character more than Amy Cahill. And now I'm the same age as Nellie. The Token Adult in the books about kids running around the world who seemed so grown up when I was the same age as Amy. She's not. I'm not. Amy's a kid. What happened.

I love how the 39 clues' fandom just straight up ignored that Amy's hair is a kinda reddish brown shade to make her a full ginger with freckles and all that, and I think that's beautiful:Ignoring canon.
