how come u don't ship amaya x river anymore?

Ehhhhh-

I just... haven't been too impressed with the way they were written in the show, lately? ^^; Like, at first I found them harmless & cute enough, when Amaya first joined the school and River & her clicked so easily in the very first season (almost like the show was setting them up to be the "Barbie & Ken" of RH?)

...Aaaand then S3 happened, and the way they wrote River there just felt... "off"? .-. I mean I don't blame the guy for being stressed out from losing both his hosting role & RainbowVision audition... but the way he lowkey threw that back at Amaya was just??

-Dude, Amaya didn't do nothing but be a supportive gf to you this whole time... no need to dismiss her like that over stuff you couldn't control 🤦I know he tried to make it up to her later like in the Meena Fleur ep, but... honestly I was totally on Amaya's side for wanting some more space by that point- 😒

(I mean, granted I guess it is nice they seemed to have hugged it out & made up by the RainbowVision finale (albeit a lil rushed-)... buuuut as a whole, I'd say Amaya/River kinda falls on a more "neutral" category for me, nowadays? .3.)

Honestly, I think it would be way easier to like AmayaxRiver if they didn't forced it upon you through the vilifes and Kontent with Karma. Because they were really cute in this episode! But if they have kept the romance between them to the episodes, it would be a wayyy better ship.
