Squeeze the day! 🍋 After a day on the beautiful Positano beach admiring the hillside views, we had a slow walk through the utterly beautiful, oh so colourful and truly chic town which leads on from the beach and stopped off for gelato (are you even in Italy if you don't do this at least once a day?!). The streets leading up from the hustle and bustle of the beach are in parts shaded by canopies of climbing flowers which form an arch overhead, and there's a delicate yet zesty fragrance of authentic lemon candles which comes from the many shops which sell all kinds of wonderful delights, from boutique summer fashions, bags and ornaments. We even stopped by a mini art gallery opening whilst we were there. We also found the most truly authentically Mediterranean greengrocers I've ever seen. I love how all the fruit still has its leaves and how simply beautiful this place was. Some of the lemons were literally the size of a melon, it was amazing! (Goes to show the power of the sun!) I wonder how many pancakes with lemon and sugar one of the giant lemons would do?...🍋🥞🌝 Have you visited Positano before? What’s your favourite thing about Italy? Let me know!
