"I'm going to take care of it while you're working on the new track, Kanata!"

This is what the tsundere rapper heard while he was scribbling on his notebook, thinking about some new lyrics for Cozmez's new song. Nayuta was relaxing on the sofa, checking on both their Twitter accounts. Kanata stopped writing when he heard that sentence from you.

He had known you for a long time and you had always shown yourself as a caring and such a good person...

Why?

Kanata didn't say anything in response, but saw you approaching those few kitchen equipments both Yatonokami brothers had managed to get and starting cooking something for lunch.

The tsundere-rapper's mind immediately got full of thoughts.. He couldn't really focus working on the new track if he still could see your figure moving and cooking with agility, like you were such a kind of chef. You sometimes turned your face towards Nayuta, checking if he was doing fine, and then to look at Kanata, who was staring at you with his usual expression. You smiled. He gasped in a few seconds. That light in your eyes... That will of living, that kindness, that gentleness of yours.. Every kind of characteristics, Each of your features... He loved them all...

Wait... Love?

Was that the sentiment he had always thought as a nonexistent one?

Was that really....

Love?

Kanata's thoughts were stopped by Nayuta, who had approached him. His pale complexion still there behind that colourful and kinda oversized jacket of his. Nayuta had understood what his brother was going through. He had understood that his brother was in love. Contrary to how they had written in that song, love has always existed for them.. Maybe at first it wasn't romantically.. but both brothers have always loved each other! I mean.. If love hadn't existed, then they would have ignored each other; Kanata would have cared about himself, not caring about Nayuta; the same would have gone for Nayuta. But no! ... They were there.

And romantic love... well...

It was there, in front of Kanata's eyes.

"Kanata.. I'm going to hang out with Shiki after lunch.", Nayuta simply said, kinda smiling, 'cause his true intention was to leave those two alone.

The tsundere rapper looked at his brother and just nodded. He knew Shiki was Nayuta's friend so, alright.. Actually he had programmed to still work with his brother, maybe on their new costumes, but.. if he had to hang out, then Kanata thought he could have rested a little bit.

"Lunch is ready!!"

Your voice happily announced as both Yatonokami brothers reached you, sitting in front of their dishes. Nayuta smiled smelling that delicious food you had prepared only for them. He immediately started eating with a cute and satisfied expression on his face (AW). Kanata, on the other hand, simply looked at his brother's reaction first and then broke into a soft smile. It must have been good, as always! He started eating too, while you were just cleaning some pots you had used to cook. Both those brothers gave your back a gaze and then looked at each other. You were singing softly while cleaning.

"Y/n... uhm... why aren't you eating with us today?", Nayuta asked. Then you turned to face those two boys, still smiling.

"Unluckily I came here only to cook for you both. I have a meeting in two hours and... yeah.. I'm not hungry.."

Kanata could feel that anxiety you got. Probably that meeting was quite important and, as always, you were overthinking about that and, perhaps, even trying to convince yourself that it'd have been great! It was you, after all. Kanata knew you so well.. He knows you so well.. He knows that you're always trying to do your best in everything... That you're always putting your best in everything! And, yeah.. he's proud of you. Maybe, though, he had never told you in words. He had never showed you. He had never demonstrated it to you.

It was the moment.

It was the moment to finally tell you he loved you.

"Uh.. I've just realised I haven't told you yet, y/n.. But after lunch I'm going out with Shiki.", Nayuta said suddenly, remembering about that meeting with his friend. You had finished cleaning those pots, as you sat facing both those brothers. Too bad you had to go, then! You didn't want to leave Kanata alone, though! Well... He's always been able to care about himself, no?

As said, after lunch, Nayuta brought his own plate into the kitchen sink. He had really loved your cooking! After that, he wore his own jacket and a small scarf, 'cause outside it was cold, and went out smirking. He had been quite sly, eh?

"Are you working on the new song even this afternoon, Kanata?", you asked while you were wearing your coat and your scarf. You turned to face Kanata, who was still sitting in front of his plate. He had eaten everything. Kanata stood up and reached you, keeping his head down, maybe because he wanted to hide his emotions. It could sound stupid, but he was kinda embarrassed of them.

Suddenly he held your coat's sleeve, head still down.

"Kanata?... What's worng?..", you asked, gasping. You had never seen him behaving that way. What was the matter? Why was he holding your sleeve? Was he sick? After some seconds of silence, he whispered something you didn't manage to hear well. You kinda approached him more, only to hear what he was trying to say.

"I want to sleep but... not alone... can you...-"

You opened your eyes wide. Was he...

Was he really asking you to help him to sleep?

You didn't say anything but took off that coat and that scarf of yours and gently nodded, smiling brightly. Kanata, on the other hand, blushed but turned his face towards the kitchen, which was behind him, only to cover his cheeks coloured in red.

Then there were you, lying on the sofa. Kanata's head was lying agaist your chest and you were kinda playing with his hair, caressing it. Your soft gaze was like glued on him. You loved him, and you had always known it. His arms were wrapped around your figure in a strange way. It was like he didn't want to let you go..

..like he didn't want to lose you.

"You have...uhm.. You must go?...", he asked while you were still playing with his shoulder-length hair. You realised.

The meeting!!

You tried to stand up, realising you were late, but Kanata held you in that sort of embrace, kinda snuggling and rubbing his left cheek onto your chest.

"No- ... uhm.."

You smiled softly, your heart beating faster than how it already was.

"𝒞-𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓎 𝒷𝑒𝓈𝒾𝒹𝑒 𝓂𝑒..?"

You smiled.
