Now me being the curious person I am, I decided to sit and watch the first episode(s?) of "Strawberry Shortcake: Berry in the Big City". And while I can talk about the intro (like how it surprised me seeing Huck appearing in it and singing because the last time we saw Huck in the 2009 adaptation. Um. Let's just say he would not have that career.) or the fact that Strawberry has pink hair (which you know, looks nice on her design but again, really surprising), I want to briefly talk about Blueberry Muffin.
Who actually decided to write her the way she is? I genuinely want to know because I know they did not make my mystery loving girl like that. Her being spiritual (I think that's the word to describe her?) is lovely and all but I feel like they exaggerated it A LOT. As in, they make it be the joke. And I really don't like it.
#Now I have only watched up until the spooky food thing episode so I can't say much#But the way they introduce her felt bad#Like I'm sure her character is nice and has her lovely moments throughout the series but. I really don't like how they introduced her :[#I don't know if this makes sense but I had to say it#Also apparently Blueberry Muffin and Huckleberry are a whole thing which is interesting so to say#anyways#strawberry shortcake#berry in the big city#blueberry muffin
