headcannon that john seems all tough and brave, but a few people (like his brother gerome) knows he has a HUGE fear of bugs, like, i can imagine john talking to gerome and johns like "dont worry, im a brave boy!" Then the two see a spider near them and john screams like a kid and hides behind gerome-
