hello! first i love your blog. big fan of your work. fellow father-son duo believer.

second, because i'm extremely normal about the kudoba family: the "big brother" thing in shinichi's childhood adventure is a contextual thing! toichi calls shinichi his "big brother" because yusaku named shinichi (as his...actual dad) and then "named" kid (from the 1412 thing) some time after that.

i've seen people point to this case as foreshadowing the m27 reveal, but i'm not sure i'd give it *that* much credit. it does seem to indicate that toichi and yusaku were playing a little game with each other, though. like, they clearly knew each other's identities. so i guess insufferability (affectionate????) runs in the family, too.
