Social Media Influencer In Canada Promotes State Run Euthanasia By Having Her Grandma Talk About How Excited She Is To Be Put Down Like A Dog The Post Millenial-On Sunday, TikTok influencer Ali Tate Cutler, who has 30,700 followers on the platform and describes herself as a "Self Love Coach, Model, Mother, Aesthetic Avatar" posted a video with her grandmother who said she was "looking forward" to the euthanasia she signed up for.

"What are your thoughts as you, like, move closer to the day?" Cutler asked her grandmother.

"It's like the light at the end of the tunnel," she responded.

Cutler posted the video to TikTok with the title "Bubbie answering questions on Euthanasia."

"What are some of the precursors, like the questions they asked, to make sure you're doing it right for the right reasons?" Cutler asked. "Your diagnosis, if it's fatal, how many more months you have. They give you time to consider. They keep stressing the fact that you could always change your mind," the grandmother replied.

In the video, she asked her grandmother, "What is the actual day like?" and the woman responded, "I know that they set an appointment. Initial injection, putting you to sleep. A big pain is the prick in the hand to provide for the little valves. And then once you are in a deep sleep there are two other injections you get, and at that point you don't know. It's painless."

"Would you prefer it be at home?" Cutler asked.

"Well, I think in my case I would like to do it at the hospital. I came in quietly, I'd like to go out quietly," the grandmother answered.

"Are you nervous? Are you excited? How do you feel?"

"Looking forward to it, just putting an end to being dependent. No control."

When models were the same size, shape, and race or ethnicity, the beauty standards dictated by the runway (skinny, tall, white) did not reflect the diversity of the real world. However, the recent trend toward diversification of models indicates a move past these conventional beauty standards. Between plus-size models walking the runway, hijab-wearing models appearing at Fashion Week, models with disabilities appearing in editorial shoots, and more racial and ethnic diversity than ever before, the fashion industry's definition of beauty has a new face.

This transition is appreciated by consumers and models alike. Ali Tate Cutler, the first plus-size model to appear in a Victoria's Secret lingerie campaign, says of the industry: " feel like they are headed in the right direction and they are listening to their audience, who have requested to see more women of diverse shapes and sizes. I think if they continue to head in that direction, they will be onto a jackpot because that is reflective of what the average woman is in America."
