My favourite story this year: My personal favourite was definitely The Boleyn Dragon because Anne Boleyn plus Dragons was a joy on so so many levels. And I was genuinely delighted with the name I gave Anne’s dragon and the historical background I put into this tiny little one shot. 

My best story this year: Probably my yuletide fic which I can’t talk about yet

Most surprising story: Rewrite The Stars For You. Hi everyone meet my OT3 I never thought I would ship especially in an historical fic. Especially with a tonne of associated multimedia thoughts for this AU. 

Most disappointing story: Rewrite The Stars For You. While I love it I feel like I didn’t really get it properly right to my satisfaction. 

Favourite first line:  When Alex of Tirragen takes his ordeal it could have gone many ways, to many worlds from The Winner Takes It All

Favourite last line: This one is from my Yuletide Fic I Can’t Talk About Yet

Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Actually they all did really surprisingly well. Though I am always here to talk about Rewrite The Stars For You or The Boleyn Dragon (if people want to write fic in either universe please always feel free). 

Most fun story: The Boleyn Dragon. SO SO SO MUCH FUN. It was delightful to write from start to finish. 

Sexiest story: I don’t really write stories with sex in them but I guess Rewrite The Stars For You. 

Story with the single sexiest moment:  I would say Rewrite The Stars For You. 

Story with the single sweetest moment: I honestly think The Boleyn Dragon because seriously SPIKY BLACK DRAGON WHO FIERCELY ADORES ANNE BOLEYN. FIERCELY. 

Hardest story to write: .The Winner Takes It All & Headed Straight For The Castle. It was...a giant process of me feeling like I was writing through concrete and pain. Though Rewrite The Stars For You was really hard because it demanded a sex scene and I had All The Triggered and I needed to calm myself down because Ridiculous Brain. 

Easiest story to write: My Yuletide Fic. It was so joyously easy. So easy.

Story I haven't written, but intend to: The fic about The Tudors OT3 that has extracts and media stuff from the version of Showtimes The Tudors in that universe. Because it’s Really Fun. 

Most unintentionally telling story: Ok so AO3 is telling me this was posted in 2017 though it was written way earlier so I’m going to go with the AO3 posting date and say Who Are You? It’s extremely biographical. 

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: I’d never really thought about Alex  before I wrote The Winner Takes It All and writing it made me really think about him and his inner motivations/why he did what he did. 

Most "OHMIGOD HEY *I* WROTE THAT" fanon-turned-canon moment: I don’t think anything really applies here. 

Most "Holy crap, that's wrong even for you" story: Nothing I wrote that actually got actually posted. I have a giant sprawling id fic that is much about me processing some of my stuff that’s in my head though. It’s...painful. 

This year's theme and the story that demonstrates it most: I don’t know that I had a theme. Maybe, looking over all the stories I’ve written it’s all about AUs. It’s about the ‘might have beens’ the way we can write about history - fictional history and fictional versions of history. Also awesome ladies. I really think Rewrite The Stars For You is telling. 

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted? I totally wrote more considering everything. Also more words than I thought I would. 

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2017? Oh hai Anne/Henry/Cromwell OT3. I really really did not expect that at all. 

Did you take any writing risks this year? No and I’m glad. I mean I guess I wrote a whole bunch for a ridiculous OT3 that I thought only I shipped so there’s that. 

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year? I really really do not do goals and stuff. Mostly for the sake of my brain.
