Disney Afternoon vote
I flipped a coin between unofficial and Disney Afternoon,Disney Afternoon won
How this is gonna work ,I have four shows I am interested in checking out ,you vote which one I check out a few random episodes
Now while the Disney afternoon was before my time , I did catch several shows in reruns as a kid ,or in two cases decided to explore them on my own when I was older
Now there were a few considerations in choosing which four shows to nominate.I decided against using Gargoyles (Cause I have seen most of the show and its serialized ) or DuckTales (It is such a blank spot for me,I never saw reruns of it )
The four I chose are on the basis of "I am familiar and remember liking it but its been a while "
TaleSpin-The very weird Jungle Book spin off with Baloo as a pilot ,but its really fun with one of the best Disney TV villains :Don Karnage .Might be fun to revisit
Darkwing Duck -The one I am most familiar with(And after Gargoyles really my second favorite Disney Afternoon show ) ,about an egotisitical superhero who is also a single father .Its a legit great cartoon
Aladdin-A continuation of the Aladdin movies ,I wanna give this another chance ,I was always grumpy Jafar wasnt in it ,but I remember it being a fun adventure show despite that .Plus I wanna see why people are so gaga over Mirage and Mozenrath
Hercules-Highschol years of Hercules. Its a midquel that doesnt make a lotta sense and the animation isnt great ,but hey we get more Hades and my dad really likes this one .(I wont cover it but I do like the Aladdin crossover episode ,I ship Jafar and Hades hard cause of it )

blakeworther- I personally I love your hc’s so much- any au’s or anything ya got for them? I really wanna know more about what goes on.
This was once again a BAD QUESTION TO ASK
Aside from the Skyward Sword AU, which I never went back to again, there’s only one AU that I like for Blakeworther, which is the AU that I like for everything ever. I’m not even sure I consider it a true AU, even though it absolutely is. So, okay, I have this thing called the WHAM ARMY, which is a massive crossover group of my favorite villains (led by the eight who make up the acronym but this ain’t about them). Obviously, because Victor, Vincent, and Albert are all pretty firmly villains (even if they lean “those weird morally bereft people we end up being friends with somehow”), I want them to join the WHAM ARMY. So my thoughts for them here are pretty much how they’d react in a multicrossover setting, which of my other villain loves they’d get along with, and what the intro arc is for them. Keep in mind I haven’t gotten here in the fanfic yet, so some of this could change in practice, but here are my plans right now.
Cringe ahead.
-They aren’t the originals. I want to make something that doesn’t trip over canon’s current trajectory, even though I don’t know exactly where canon is going, so what happens is that Vexen (Kingdom Hearts) is going to rebuild the three of them as replicas, since he can easily find memory cores for Victor and Vincent in Myers’ storage rooms and there’s just going to be an Albert core there for no reason.
-Vexen then pulls some Chain of Memories magic and restricts the memories they have access to. They will only remember things we have literally seen in VTSOM/TWDAK, and then I can have him release more of their memory banks to them as we get more chapters. (Even if they all three get redemption arcs, my replica versions can stay little shits!)
-He DOES NOT tell them that they’re not the originals! For all they know, they fell asleep at the last day they remember and woke up here. But they figure it out on their own despite his best efforts. They still want to get their memories back anyway so they know what the people they were replicated from were like and have a framework to build their personalities from.
-Yes, of course they’re cyborgs! Cyborg replicas. Since they’re operating by KH rules, they prooooobably don’t need to eat human meat? But also I like when villains do fucked-up things and I have jokes about the others packaging “cyborg chow” to embarrass them so maybe they still do engage in a little cannibalism, as a treat
-Each was engineered with a different specialty. Vincent’s is raw physical strength; he can walk into a gunfight without even needing a weapon and still have a chance of winning. Victor’s arms have been upgraded to hold a variety of cannons; he’s the team sniper. Albert is the team “mage”; he can conjure Dream Eaters. In this AU, TWDAK Dream Eaters and KH Dream Eaters are basically the same thing. Albert has mastered a strange art of being able to draw Dream Pieces out of the Realm of Sleep and implant them in physical forms of creatures in the waking world, creating his army. They look like they do because he hates the pastel aesthetic of KH Dream Eaters and redesigned his personal ones to look more fitting with his aesthetic. He’s also a speedster.
-The intro mission involves Vexen attempting to track down a newly-rebuilt Xion (this AU is divergent from KHIII) in Radiant Garden so he can bring her back under his control with some brainwashing. I’m also bringing in the Tsviets as past experiments of Vexen’s, so he’s basically pitting his newer models of experiment against his old ones.
-The party he already has built by this point is going to be Demyx, Simon Laurent (Infinity Train), Tsumugi Shirogane (DanganRonpa), skekSil (The Dark Crystal), and a couple other people I haven’t hinted at instory yet and don’t quite want to spoil. But Simon, Tsumugi, and skekSil will all also be Vexen’s creations - Simon and skekSil are replicas and Tsumugi is an android.
-Vincent, Victor, and Albert wake up for the first time, and while Vincent and Victor remember each other as friends, they’re just like “And why is our nemesis from RMU also here?”
-Albert probably fights with Vincent for dominance of the trio and I’m not sure which one of them is the trio leader at this point.
-I moved Nine Bean Hill from World of Final Fantasy to Radiant Garden because Radiant Garden needs a coffee shop and first of all, thanks to Hunger Games Simulator fuckery, my friends and I have an in-joke about Vincent Edgeworth having an eternal grudge against Dunkacino, so I’m going to use the coffee shop to reference this somehow without having to put actual Corporate Brainwashed Al Pacino in this ‘verse
-But also I like to think Lann and Reynn play a lot of bubblegum pop, so catch Victor and Albert dancing to the PA like idiots and then getting Demyx, skekSil, and Simon in on it while Vincent and Vexen are like “Oh God why are these our friends”
-(There are reasons this particular Demyx goes by a different name instory and it’s weirding me out to type “Demyx” for this post)
-Without spoiling too much of the arc, there IS a part where Blakeworther beats up the Tsviets, there IS a part where they battle the Anima summon from FFX and win, and there IS a part where despite all of this, Xion kicks their asses across the city
-They go through this mission seeing each other as partners and friends (though Vincent and Albert are reluctant to use the “friend” word at first), but after they all get back to base, they’re just...suddenly overwhelmed with the fact that they’re strangers in a strange land missing half their memories.
-They room together, and they end up crawling into the same bed for solidarity reasons. This is actually where I first envisioned the “rough day” sleeping position - Vincent and Victor are chest-to-chest, then Albert just snuggles in behind Victor and the other two are like “Okay, we’re gonna just let this happen” and Vincent and Albert touch at one tangent point where their arms cross.
-The days might get a little rougher after they realize they aren’t even the originals.
-Eventually they assimilate into the chaos house with no problem.
-Vincent tends to hang out with the party poopers of the house. Especially Mozenrath (Aladdin: The Animated Series). (P.S. If there are any VTSOM fans out there who also know the 90s Aladdin TV series...I CAN’T be the only one who noticed the surface similarities here, right?)
-Victor Blake and Roman Torchwick (RWBY). Oh, God, this is the hell duo. They’re party animals who love to dance and drink and dance drunk. It was not a good idea to let these two redheads meet.
-Albert and Neopolitan (RWBY)! They both love stabbing people and Victorian button boots! I actually kinda have this idea that they would pick up more fucked-up serial killer types to hang out with them - Mad Madam Mim (The Sword in the Stone) is their patron despite being a much tamer example, but Albert also decides he really likes Scaramouche (Samurai Jack), Junko Enoshima (DanganRonpa), and Jerome Valeska (Gotham).
-For a real deep cut, Albert also opens up a joint Dream Therapy office with Dr. Cheshire Broach (Crypt TV). It’s either called “Krueger & Broach” or “Broach & Krueger” depending on how long it takes either to notice that the other moved his name to the front of the sign again. You should ABSOLUTELY not trust either of these men to give you legitimate therapy (though if you’re good friends with them, they can and will use their dreamon powers to help you best your nightmares in a bloody fashion).
-Actually this ‘verse is the entire reason I thought of them doing drag karaoke to “United We Stand” by Amberian Dawn because the WHAM ARMY is all about karaoke, drag, and any combination of the two
-I haven’t decided yet if their romance will be a slow burn or a faster affair. I’m expecting them to tell me as I write out the fic. But I think in a lot of respects, it’s going to be more of a friends-to-lovers story than their original forms had. The three of them are forced to become an elite cyborg warrior unit created by the same mad scientist, they had a big bonding mission together where they became ride or die (whether or not they want to admit it), and eventually...we can start revealing that they’re CATCHING FEELINGS.
-The WHAM ARMY has many, many power couples and ships of various numbers of people but Blakeworther ends up becoming yet another POWER THROUPLE around base, and it’s understood that messing with one of them will earn the wrath of the other two
-They go on to assist in many, many missions with the purpose of taking over various worlds and kingdoms and just fucking them up
-Vincent Edgeworth will kill the TBTC equivalent of Dunkacino
You have to understand that TBTC is my hyperfixation to end all hyperfixations. Every piece of fiction I touch ends up related to it in some way. At some point the majority of how I interact with Blakeworther is going to be through this AU. I’m just a sucker for crossovers and villains having a place to be bros and party.
#vincent edgeworth#victor blake#albert krueger#blakeworther#friendly reminder that i do also take headcanon requests about the wham army!#just saying!#ASK ME ABOUT MY CROSSOVER UNIVERSE!

Top 10 TV Shows You Need To Watch Right Now
Now, I watch a lot of television. I always have and frankly, I’m much more of a binge watcher than a wait-around-for-a-week-for-the-next-episode kind of watcher.
And with everything the past few months, there wasn’t all that much to do other than start rewatching some of my favorite shows and some that I’ve never seen or haven’t seen in a while.
So, that’s what I did and here I am giving you some recommendations for shows to add to your own watching lists.
Warning, though, some of these don’t end the best way and may end up more as a disappointment. I’ll leave that up to you to decide.
I. Fringe.
I cannot recommend this show enough to people. It’s got five full seasons (although the last could’ve been a little better, but it’s honestly not that bad of a final season) of high-risk scenarios revolving around almost unexplainable phenomena regarding a tear in the fabric of reality. It deals with experiments that gives superpowers (basically), advanced technology, and a parallel universe.
Plus, there’s a cow.
What more could you want from a show?
Some familiar faces that are in the main cast or show up at some point include John Noble, who you may recognize from Sleepy Hollow and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Lance Reddick, who was in The Wire, White House Down, American Horror Story, and played Charon in the John Wick franchise, Leonard Nimoy, who you should know from the original Star Trek series, and Anna Torv from Mindhunter.
II. Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector.
Now, if you know crime books, you may know exactly what this is based off of. If not, fear not, I am here to tell. This series (which, like a lot of the others down the list, unfortunately, got cancelled and won’t get to see a second season) was based off of The Bone Collector, a first in a series of novels by Jeffery Deaver.
If you like crime shows, you should definitely give this a shot. Don’t let the fact that it’s only one season stop you.
Things get pretty wild in just one season as it revolved around a retired forensic criminologist, who had been trying to catch the Bone Collector only to get injured, that gets back into the game three years later when an ambitious young detective is determined to help solve the case when a new body shows up.
You might even recognize a face or two, like Arielle Kebbel (the ambitious young detective) from her role as Lexi in The Vampire Diaries and Olivia Charity in Midnight, Texas, and Russell Hornsby (the retired forensic criminologist) from Grimm, The Hate U Give, Proven Innocent, and The Affair.
III. Manifest.
Luckily, this show is said to be getting a third season and so far, isn’t going to get cancelled. It focuses on passengers from Flight 828, who show up five years after their plane went missing. Some passengers start experiencing what they call ‘callings’ and try to figure out if they were chosen for some sort of duty that the callings led them too, but things get a little confusing when someone who wasn’t on a flight seems to have a year missing of their own life after being deemed missing.
Things get a little weird and dangerous along the way, and not everyone is happy about how things turn out.
It’s pretty interesting and I’m really looking forward to what else they come up with. There’s a few familiar faces that play a part in the show that includes Daryl Edwards, who you may recognize from the first season of Daredevil, Ellen Tamaki who is also in the reboot of Charmed, Athena Karkanis, who’s been in The Expanse and Lost Girl, and Josh Dallas, who one may recall playing Prince Charming in Once Upon a Time, and Fandral in Thor.
It’s a rather good show to get lost in and I definitely recommend giving it a go.
IV. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
If you don’t have an idea as to what this show is, I don’t know what to say. The title kind of gives it away. It’s the only Marvel Show (as of now since none of the shows in production have come out as of yet) to technically be connected to the MCU itself.
That’s found in one of the main characters, Phil Coulson, who you’d recognize from Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, and The Avengers. Plus, Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) both give a cameo in the show.
The show was rumored to have been set in a different, but similar, timeline to that of the MCU movies, but I don’t know for sure if it’s true or not.
It follows its own set of issues, including a deeper dive into the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., issues with HYDRA, and so on and so forth. The last season, which I honestly cried during, gives such good twists and callbacks to previous seasons and the MCU movies that you can’t help but enjoy how it’s handled.
As a show, it probably has one of the best final seasons possible and I highly recommend giving the full seven seasons a watch if you haven’t already.
V. Primeval.
Now, if you like dinosaurs, this is a show for you. It’s BBC, so obviously everyone has an accent. It gave a run of five seasons (which is kind of funny because I didn’t realize that until just now writing this as the show is listed as number five on the list) with different episode amounts.
The show centers around anomalies that seem to open up a window to the very distant past of Earth when dinosaurs still roamed the land. It causes a lot of issues, especially if one person has anything to do with it.
It’s pretty interesting and honestly has got some great characters (my personal favorite is Captain Becker, played by Ben Mansfield) and while it can get pretty serious, it’s also pretty entertaining. It’s one of the three shows on this list to get to end on a good-ish note. (AKA, no cliffhangers!)
Obviously, I highly recommend giving it a shot. It’s kind of the point of this list.
VI. Terra Nova.
Now, like Primeval, this show technically has to do with dinosaurs. Dinosaurs aren’t the main focus, but they do play a part in this one season (because cancellations) story.
Terra Nova is focused on both the future and the past. In the distant future (2149), the Earth is dying. A group of people, researchers, and military as well as some of their family members, are sent to the past (85 million years) to inhabit Terra Nova, a colony of humans given a second chance to build civilization.
So, obviously, dinosaurs are going to make an appearance now and then. And unfortunately, the show only got one season and ends on a cliffhanger. Which I hate, because I really enjoy this show and wish it had been able to at least get a second season.
Plus, there are some familiar faces amongst the cast. Jason O’Mara, who plays one of the main cast members, played Jeffrey Mace in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Christine Adams, who plays Lynn Pierce in Black Lightning. Allison Miller, who played Sonya in 13 Reasons Why. And Naomi Scott, who is known for her roles in Lemonade Mouth (one of my all-time favorite DCOMs) and Aladdin. And this was just to name a few of the cast members.
Shame it got cancelled, truly, but I recommend giving it a shot.
VII. MTV’s Scream.
I think you can figure out the basis of this show. While it doesn’t have anything to do directly with the movie franchise, it is kind of similar and a lot of the characters reflect those from the show. Neve Campbell even said that if the show did well, she would be willing to do a cameo.
It revolves (at least the first two seasons as season three is an entirely different set of cast and premise that I refuse to watch because of that) around Emma Duval and her group of friends as they’re picked off one by one by a serial killer going around town. Things get bloody and suspicions arise amongst the crew when things are revealed as the show continues, but things eventually work out in the end.
And personally, I really enjoyed the show even when the second season ended on a cliffhanger. I have theories about that cliffhanger, however, so watch out for a possible post regarding it.
I highly recommend giving it a chance if you haven’t seen it.
VIII. The Society.
Now, the title doesn’t give you much. A group of teenagers, who were sent off on a trip, suddenly are dropped back off in their town to find it completely empty aside from themselves. They have to form their own society to survive and figure things out.
Once you know that, it makes a little more sense.
It seems really similar to the Pied Piper tale, but it doesn’t seem like we’re going to really know for sure. Season 2 had been given a go-ahead, but not too long ago Netflix announced the cancellation of the show.
That doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the first season like I do. Plus, if you’re a fan of Supernatural and the character of Claire Novak, Kathryn Newton plays one of the main roles in this show.
It’s a shame the show got cancelled, especially on a cliffhanger, but what can we do?
IX. The Mysteries of Laura.
Laura Diamond, a Homicide Detective, cracks case after case while trying to raise twin boys and locking horns with her less than helpful Police Detective ex-husband. At least, this is according to IMBD and frankly, it’s not really wrong.
For two seasons, it’s packed with comedy and crime. It’s more of the former, but it still gets pretty serious every now and then, and unfortunately ends on a cliffhanger.
However, some cast members may be familiar. Like Josh Lucas, who voices Home Depot commercials (and trust me, it made my family laugh when we first heard one after watching the show), Laz Alonso who plays MM in The Boys, and Debby Ryan, from Disney Channel.
If you like light-hearted crime shows (like Brooklyn-Nine-Nine) you should definitely give this a watch.
X. Warrior Nun.
As far as I know, this show has been renewed for a season two. I’m really hoping for it because it’s honestly kind of interesting. You can kind of tell by the title what it may be, but I’ll dive a little deeper.
After waking up in a morgue, Ava, an orphaned teen, discovered she now possesses superpowers as the chosen Halo Bearer for a secret sect of demon-hunting nuns. (Taken from IMDB). Interesting, right?
With characters like Shotgun Mary, Sister Beatrice, and Sister Lilith, you know the show’s going to be interesting. But the premise is pretty interesting on it’s own too.
There’s even a character called JC, who apparently has nothing to do with Jesus Christ, but I still like referring to him as such because it’d be pretty funny if that’s how it turns out. Also, someone gets beat up with a whole chicken at some point.
It’s only got the one season so far, but it’s pretty funny and action packed. Like everything on this list, I definitely think you should watch it and find out for yourself if you want to add it to your list if you haven’t already.

STAN LAUGHING DAD AT ALL TIMES dkfkkdkdkdkskd MY HEART IS FLUTTERING!!!!!!!! i promise this is the last request (maybe ffkfkd) pls PLS PRETTY PLS do sum where one of the twins has a secret boyfriend and suddenly starts to wear a bunch of makeup and style her hair all pretty and lj ends up finding out by seeing them together KFKFKDKDK IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN I LOVE YOU BYE
LAUGHING! DAD! LAUGHING! DAD! HIM DEALING WITH TEENAGE DAUGHTERS IS SO FUNNY TO ME I LOVE DOING THIS. I decided to use the names Juliette and Jasmine for these two (as suggested by another anon). This isn’t relevant but. hc that the daughter from the second story where jack had to comfort one of them was Juliette. Lowkey im making entire personalities for these two god help me enjoy :)
Laughing Jack thought of himself as a pretty good dad. He was loving and supportive of his two girls, and always had their backs. They were happy to go to him and tell him everything, and in return he always told them he loved them and supported them no matter what. But of course, he didn’t force them to do any of that. It was a matter of mutual love, mutual trust. Jack wasn’t an overbearing father, in fact, he was quite relaxed. He knew his girls could hold their own, and they lived in a mansion full of demons and serial killers! If anyone decided to pick on the girls, they’d live (and probably die) to regret it. So when he heard footsteps creeping down the stairs behind where he sat in his big comfy armchair, and someone tip-toeing towards the front door, he wasn’t expecting it to actually be one of his two twin daughters.
He looked over at the girl as she quietly creeped towards the front door. She was dressed in a red leather jacket, and under it Jack could see she was wearing a short black skirt and fishnet stockings along with red high heels he couldn’t remember seeing before. Her hair was done up elaborately, and she’d even curled it. Jack blinked in surprise for a moment before smiling and arching a brow. ‘’...Jasmine?’’ he called out. The girl jumped and whirled around to stare at her. Looking at her face, Jack could see she’d taken the time to put makeup on. She wore some simple red eyeshadow, black mascara and some sparkly red lipstick. Jack also noted her contour, which made her cheekbones look sharper and more noticeable than normal. He looked her over for a moment and smiled. ‘’Ye look good!’’ he finally chirped. He had to admit, he felt a bit of secondhand pride. He had been the one to first teach both of his girls about makeup and hairstyling, so seeing her do something so elaborate all by herself brought a smile to his face.
‘’Oh er- t-thanks da.’’ she stammered out, shifting nervously on her feet. She forced a smile. Jack chuckled a bit, thinking she was just embarrassed at the compliment.
‘’Ya ‘eaded somewhere?’’
‘’Oh! Uh- yeh, yeh I’m er- goin’ ta see some friends.’’ she replied quickly. Jack nodded. Oh, friends! Odd...normally his daughters told him a little bit in advance if they were planning to go out- but maybe it was just a spur of the moment thing. Besides, she’d already gone through all the effort of dressing up and making herself look so nice, Jack certainly wasn’t going to keep her home!
‘’Ah! Awrigh’ then,’’ he turned back to the TV show he’d been watching. ‘’Ave fun, luv.’’
‘’Thanks da.’’ Jasmine smiled a bit and walked more confidently towards the door. Jack glanced at her and frowned.
‘’...’ey kiddo?’’ he suddenly said. She paused and looked over her shoulder at him, looking worried. ‘’...do ye need money?’’ he gave her a wide smile and reached into his puffy sleeve. Before his daughter could even mumble out a flustered ‘nah, I’m okay’, he pulled out a couple paper bills and stretched his arm over to her. She smiled gently and took the money. ‘’Buy yerself lunch ‘er somefink, awrigh’ swee’ear’?’’
‘’Yes da.’’ she gently tucked the bills into the pocket of her jacket and looked up at him again. She smiled a bit wider. ‘’See ya la’er.’’
‘’Ave fun!’’ Jack called back. He settled back down into his chair, content with himself. Just as he was relaxing again, he was interrupted by a second voice at the top of the stairs.
‘’...ye le’ ‘er go ou’ lookin’ like tha’??’’
Jack looked up at the sound of his second daughter’s voice. He looked up at her and frowned. ‘’Yeh?’’ he tilted his head. ‘’Somefink wrong?’’
‘’No, i’s jus’ tha’ she’s goin’ on a da’e is all…’’ Juliette leaned nonchalantly against the wall, smirking a bit as she spoke.
‘’...a da’e?’’
‘’Yeh. Wiv a boy, y’know, nofink big.’’ Jack stared at her in astonishment. ‘’No’ tha’ big a deal, she only spent two ‘ours doin’ ‘er ‘air up an’ lookin’ all nice fer’im.’’
Jack stood up quickly and stared at her. ‘’Well- who is ‘e?? Do I know ‘im?’’
‘’E’s tha’ scrawny lad tha’ works a’ th’ music shop in town.’’ she examined her nails as she spoke. ‘’She’s fancied ‘im since she me’ ‘im. No idea why, ‘e’s kinda spo’y.’’
Jack frowned and looked at the ground. Ohh, he knew who she was talking about. A boy with wispy, greasy blonde hair and a nose ring who always seemed a little out of it. Your typical teenager. He was just surprised he’d never put two and two together and realised his own daughter liked him. He’d always thought she was just really into music. ‘’Do ye know where they went off ta?’’
‘’Mmm…’’ she spent a long, long moment thinking about it. ‘’I fink she mentioned th’ place bu’...I can’t qui’e remember i’.’’ she gave her dad a mischievous grin. Jack groaned and reached into his sleeve, pulling out another thirty dollars. He stretched his arm up and the girl grabbed the notes, smiling in satisfaction. She was a smart one, Jack would give her that. ‘’Th’ shoppin’ centre in town. Fink they mentioned ge’in lunch an’ summat.’’
‘’Righ’.’’ Jack turned on his heel and towards the door. ‘’I’m g’nna go er- check on yer sister-’’
‘’Don’t le’ ‘er see ya. Jus’ stalk ‘er from a distance.’’
‘’Thanks luv I will.’’
Jack walked quickly across town to the local mall. He stuck to backstreets and kept his eyes peeled for his daughter. He almost thought he wouldn’t find her until, when leaning out from behind a trash can, his eyes spotted a red leather jacket in the crowd. He gasped and stared at her. Alright, alright, calm down. He wasn’t going to storm over and tell her off- she was in love. Kids in love do stupid things, and hey, maybe this boy was nice! Maybe he was like her dashing Romeo- actually no that'd be more fitting for his other daughter Juliette...Aladdin then? Wasn't Aladdin a thief who lied about being rich though? Jack definitely didn't want someone like that dating his daughter…
OH WAIT HE’S HERE- Jack’s eyes widened as the boy walked up to his beloved daughter. He examined him carefully. The two just waved a bit in greeting as he casually walked up to her. They talked for a little bit before walking off towards the entrance to the mall. Perfectly innocent, right? WRONG! The ungrateful daughter stealer hadn’t even brought flowers! He wouldn’t even hold her hand as they walked! Not to mention his outfit. A red and white baseball cap, a track jacket of the same colours, black jeans that were ripped and old worn trainers. Also in red and white. Would it be too much for him to even put on the tiniest bit of lipstick? Honestly! Jack wasn’t a romantic but he knew low effort when he saw it. Honestly, men these days…
But fine, fine. He’d give the boy another chance. Maybe he forgot the flowers at home and maybe he thought the dress code was casual. No biggie, no biggie. He slinked over to the mall’s entrance and slipped inside. He stayed hidden in the crowd- or- as hidden as a giant monochrome clown could be. Things seemed pretty normal. The two of them walked along, talking calmly. The boy seemed to be laughing a lot, which made Jack proud. If someone was going to date his daughter, they had to have a sense of humour. He followed them into various stores. A record shop, a Hot Topic, Claire’s and a couple other places. They seemed to get along good, though Jack couldn’t hear very much of their conversations. He’d listened to them talk excitedly in the record shop about music, and in Claire’s he’d watched them mess around trying on accessories. They were...cute. They made a good couple and seeing the way his daughter laughed and grinned, and the way the boy blushed in her presence- it made Jack soften. He was wrong about this boy...he made his daughter happy, really happy, and he was more than happy to let them be together.
As he followed after them a few feet behind, his eyes stayed locked on their hands. They were holding hands. Jack was over the moon at that. His little girl was in love! Her first date was going good! He watched from a little bit away as they sat down at a food court. Once he was sure they were settled in and stuck into both their lunch and conversation, he wandered over and took a seat a little bit away where he could keep watching them.
And then...Jasmine glanced to her side, just for a moment, and then snapped her head over to him. Her eyes locked with her father’s from across the food court and slowly, a look of horror crossed her face. She looked quickly to her date before he could notice something was wrong and stood up from her chair. Jack watched her say something to him before calmly walking away. As she got closer to where her dad sat though, her strides became angrier, and her face more enraged. Jack gulped.
Oh no.
She stopped calmly in front of his table and folded her arms. It was silent for a long, tense moment. ‘’E-ey swee’ear’.’’ Jack murmured, forcing a smile.
‘’Wha’ are ye doin’ ‘ere?’’ Jasmine growled back.
‘’I wuz jus’ checkin’ on ye, ‘onest!’’
‘’Checkin’ on me?!’’ she snapped back. ‘’Stalkin’ me more like!’’
‘’Well ye’re th’ one tha’ didn’ tell me ye were da’in’ some’ne!’’
‘’Becuz I knew ye’d pull this crap!’’ Jasmine looked about ready to hit her father. It honestly wouldn’t surprise him if she did. ‘’I’m no’ a li’le girl! I can do wha’ I want! Juliette has a fella and ye don’t do this wiv ‘er!’’
‘’Tha’s diff’ren’-’’
‘’She’s the one tha’ told ya abou’ this, isn’t she?’’
Jack hesitated for a moment. ‘’...yeh.’’
‘’I’m g’nna kill tha’ poxy ra’!’’ she buried her face in her hands and groaned. Jack reached up and patted her shoulder gently. She looked up at him, still glaring.
‘’...I like ye’re boyfrien’. ‘E seems nice.’’ He murmured gently. ‘’I jus’ wanted ta make sure i’ went okay...yous’re a cu’e couple.’’ he smiled up at her. Jasmine paused for a moment before sighing.
‘’Ye’re such a fockin’ eejit, da.’’ she muttered. Jack laughed gently and pulled his hand away. He stood up from his chair. ‘’...ye mean i’ abou’ ‘im?’’
He nodded. ‘’I do.’’ he smiled down at her. ‘’Tell ye wha’, I’ll go back on ‘ome an’ pretend I didn’ see any ‘f this. Ye can keep goin wiv yer da’e an’ f’rge’ abou’ me.’’
Jasmine stared at him for a moment before smiling gently. ‘’Fine.’’ she sighed. She stepped back from him. ‘’Ge’ ou’a ‘ere b’fore ‘e sees me talkin’ ta ya. Don’ wanna make ‘im mee’ th’ folks on th’ first da’e.’’
Jack laughed and nodded. ‘’Alrigh’,’’ he pat her head once more before stepping away from her. ‘’Ave fun, luv.’’
‘’I will, da.’’

what other villains have you liked in the past
I think my first legit villain crush was Ruber from Quest for Camelot. Like when I was young. Absurdly young. I didn’t register it as a crush yet, but I remember really liking him. So I think it was like him and Claude Frollo (gross as fuck, I know), Mozenwrath and Jafar from Aladdin, shit like that. Basically if they were in a kids movie and they were bad, I liked them a lot.
When I got older and stuff, I moved onto traditional villains like Draco and Lucius Malfoy, Red X and Slade from Teen Titans (thanks for that sultry voice Ron Perlman), Reaver from Fable, Matt Miller from SR3, Sesshomaru and Naraku from Inuyasha, various versions of the Joker from tv shows and comics, Zuko and Ozai, Lestat, Sergei Dragunov from Tekken, and like basically any bad guy I came across. Those are the ones I really remember though. Basically, if it was evil, I felt things in my stomach lmao
Then I went batshit fucking wild a few years ago and started getting into worse and worse people like Strade from Boyfriend to Death, The Breather from Welcome to the Game, Kylo Ren, Vulpes Inculta, Eddie Gluskin from Outlast, Stephano Valentini from The Evil Within, and Tomura Shigaraki (bitch u kno lmao). I KNOW there’s more, but those are the ones on the top of my head.
Essentially, if they’re serial killers, horrid people, sheer fucking evil, or just look like you’d get cornered by them in an alleyway, chances are I’m going to thirst for them because there’s something mentally wrong with me lmaoooo

name: Lauren
gender: Female
star sign: Virgo Sun || Leo Moon || Leo Ascendent, which basically means I have the usually quiet reserved personality of an analytical, organised virgo on the fact of things, am usually the goofy, chill friend amongst my friends, and don’t like to take anyone’s shit, but if I am disrespected, I’m a sensitive six foot flower and withdraw from the world until I can get over it. xD I don’t like conflict.
height: 183cm/6 feet
age: 27 (YIKES XD)
wallpaper on my phone: (I had to check XD) A calendar of May 2020 stylistically arranged around ribbons
house: Slytherin
ever crush on a teacher: Both my parents and my uncle are teachers and consequently I knew every teacher in my school as actual human people and not ‘crushes’ growing up. So no. XD
coolest halloween costume: I went as the Starbucks logo one year when I was eight, a gigantic Lady Luck die one year with a top hat covered in poker chips and cards. I had some good ones I made: I was creative as fuck when I was 9-11 especially, and I had to be, because I was already around 5′7 and people assumed I was just some weirdo dressing up to get candy (Hearing ‘AREN’T YOU A LITTLE OLD TO BE TRICK OR TREATING’ at eleven CRUSHED me XD)
Favorite 90s tv show:
Okay. So there’s one’s I watched actually as a child of the 90s, and ones that were just always ON in the 90s that I ended up watching. It’s debatable whether these are actually good NOW. XD
That being said, the background ones were Saved By the Bell (ZACH MORRIS IS TRAAAAassssh~~), Boy Meets World, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond.
As a kid, I loved the Aladdin Animated Series, The Hercules Animated Series, CHIP AND DALE RESCUE RANGERS (Which didn’t really hold up sadly but still has the best theme song of all time, fight me), and Timon and Pumbaa.
One I rarely caught but really liked was All That, The Wonder Years, Sabrina the Teenage Witch- occasionally Fresh Prince.
Out of all of these, I still have a super fond spot for Saved By the Bell, especially with the ‘Zach Morris is Trash’ series on Youtube (Seriously, go watch it. It’s fucking hilarious and basically breaks down how much of a serial killer in the making Zach Morris is XD). The clothing is ridiculous and no one really dressed like that in the early 90s outside of commercials and TV (unfortunately). Maybe one shoddy item out of the bunch. Meanwhile Saved by the Bell is like LETS PUT IT ALL ON. XD It was terrible once they got to college, but it was stupid and fun and made me feel ‘cool’ watching it because I was like three and being like, “YEAH, IT’S BRIGHT AND THESE PEOPLE ARE COOL AND I CAN FOLLOW THE PLOT. I’M MATURE.” XD It’s literally still the only one of these I actively watch now in the form of Zach Morris is Trash, so I’ll go with it. xD
Last kiss: Never had a consensual kiss. Make of that what you will. xD
Have you ever been stood up: Nope.
Favourite pair of shoes:
I have terrible plantar fasciitis from sports, so I’m a shoe snob, and have to have properly fitting/constructed shoes. It depends on what I’m doing in them, really. I got a pair of trail running shoes for trail running during COVID, but they’re not the most aesthetically pleasing. I’d say the best mixture between comfort and style are either a good ol’pair of black ankle boots with a slight heel (so I can be 6′2 and intimidate people with my height muhahahaha), or more practically on a day to day basis, I have a pair of Reeboks that are 90s-styled with pastel pink and blue triangles on the side. They’re pretty dope. xD
have you ever been to vegas: No, but my parents have. Basically, they said you tire of shopping after two days, and then you’re just stuck inside hotels and shopping malls there. If you’re not a gambler, drinker, or have a ton of money to splash out on stage shows, I don’t think it’s particularly worth going.
favorite fruit: Mango or raspberry, but they’re super-expensive in the land of Maple Syrup so I usually don’t get them any other way other than frozen in smoothies.
Favourite book:
I could never choose a favourite book. It’s literally like choosing between children. It’s my microcosmic version of Sophie’s Choice. xD Tasteless joke aside, it’d honestly depend on the occasion. There’s a huge difference between entertainment reading, literary exploits, and educating yourself through books as a whole.
My ‘plane’ book (which I’m terrible at flying, so that was a joke), as in, an easy, fun, instantly rereadable read to read on the plane when I used to have super long fifteen hour flights to Australia, was always Mario Puzo’s ‘The Godfather,’ because I also had a huge crush on Michael Corleone.
But it’s also not the ‘best’ book and literally spends an inordinate and honestly disturbing amount of time on the fact that this poor woman in the story (which thankfully in the film, it gets cut down), but the bridesmaid Sonny Corleone has sex with, and how you see his wife indicating his ‘size’?
THAT’S LITERALLY AN ENTIRE SUBPLOT OF THIS BROAD’S STORY I SHIT YOU NOT BECAUSE NOTHING IS ‘BIG’ ENOUGH FOR HER AFTER HIM AND THEN YOU FIND OUT SHE HAS A MEDICAL CONDITION AND GOOD FOR HER SHE’S ABLE TO FIND LOVE AGAIN BUT WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK MARIO PUZO XD IT WAS A LOT OKAY.
(Footnote: I also suffered through his horrific sequels because I love Michael Corleone and will take him in any form he comes in, even horrifically written Sicilian backhill exploits that were never told to us in the original book and were clearly just written because Puzo needed another pay check but I digress.)
Horrific subplots aside, I really enjoy The Godfather for its sheer pulpiness. The book is essentially what Andrew Lloyd Weber is to musicals. xD (Yes, I come with musical theatre burns. Fight me.)
In terms of a piece of literature that I think is amazingly well done? Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, or Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury.
Stupidest thing you ever done:
Um, maybe when I was at Cambridge I tried to dye my roots to match the rest of my ‘blonde’ hair at the time, and it turned out bright orange? And because it’s Cambridge, they had this super-strict attendance policy, so I was literally trying not to hyperventilate because it was running close to class (which was across campus) and I was trying to find some way to remedy my hair without it falling out/ someone asking about it. So, I grabbed a toque-cap-thing despite it being literally one of the hottest summer on record in the UK (It was like 35 degrees, it was MENTAL), and had to sprint to class all the way on the other side of campus from my college dodging dodgy tourist groups blocking the sidewalk while I went. Then when I sat down inside, I had to be weirdly rude and wear my hat inside the lecture hall even though the professor was looking at me (it was a specialised program in German Literature) like, “Are you going to take that shit off?” xD THEN I tried to dye it back to brown, and it literally looked like mud mixed with a runny egg had exploded on the top of my head; it was AWFUL. XD So FINALLY I did my research and found a salon, but by THAT point I had done 250 pounds worth of damage to my hair (WHICH IS LIKE 400 DOLLARS CANADIAN AT THE TIME), and I almost had a heart attack and thanked my lucky stars that I had money put away so I could give my parents the ‘parent price’ when they asked why they hadn’t seen me on FaceTime or Skype for like, three weeks, and I replaced my face with a photo of John Cleese from Fawlty Towers, which they tease me about to this day. xD
The other dumbest thing I ever said was when I was so desperate for friends in grade six when I moved to a new school (and because being American was ‘cool’ at the time, apparently), I told everyone I was a dual citizen because my mother LITERALLY GAVE BIRTH TO ME ON THE BORDER CROSSING WHAT. XD And bless this poor bespectacled girl named Mara (who was actually a little class friend of mine), who just said timidly in the back, “That’s not how citizenship works.” xD It basically came out of attempting to be cool and failing, but I’m still SO embarrassed about THAT one that I’d never admit it to ANYONE besides shouting it out into the Tumblr black hole. xD I’m still embarrassed to THIS DAY.
All time favorite shows:
I’ll go for the original run of The Twilight Zone, which has some schmaltzy episodes (I’m really not a fan of any of the episodes entirely dedicated to the Space Race or the weird cowboy fanaticism of the fifties/ sixties, or anything that’s overtly like “ALIENS DID IT SO THERE”), but I LOVE their psychological horror episodes or Dystopian episodes. It’s when Rod Serling’s writing and narrative voice is the strongest and most prophetic, and the twists are usually the best. Other shows have tries to imitate it, or reboot it, but I really think the original, due to Rod Serling’s unmatchable voice, in every sense of the word. There’s lists of some of the greatest episodes, but I remember LOVING the episode ‘A Stop at Willoughby.’ The twist literally made me clap my hands in horror and delight, it was amazing. xD
Other than that? Off the top of my head, Mad Men and Band of Brothers, even though I haven’t rewatched either in ages.
last movie you saw in theaters:
Oh God, before all THIS hit? Probably Rise of Skywalker. I get agoraphobic and itchy if a movie theatre is too busy, and we only have really pokey sort of ones nearby that you’re guaranteed to see someone you went to high school with (terrible), so now that I can properly drive I go out to the big redneck theatre out in the boonies. I miss living in Montreal though, because when you live in a big city like that downtown (and can actually afford to live there), you could see blockbuster movies at like ten in the morning. xD Which would be AMAZING because I’d go to see any of the early Avengers/Marvel movies when they opened, the day of opening, and it was literally me, one old man who fell asleep halfway through and sat near the back, and maybe an elderly couple on a morning date to the movies. xD I get really annoyed with obnoxious movie-goers, and I’m really picky about just being completely absorbed in the movie, so I tend not to go unless I’m guaranteed that space.
