Akira Kibo and Kaori Nishidake

So based on the recent segment of my story the S.I.M.S. spies. I did mention their relationship being professional to some extent. They were childhood buds. Their parents were literal best friends, and Akira liked the idea of being Kaori's protector. He loved her like a little sister. When Kaori's parents had passed away, Akira's family took her in until she was sent of to Mt. Komorebi. They had kept in touch for a while, but with Akira off to college, they barely kept in touch. It wasn't until Kaori came to San Myshuno, where she first started as an agency clerk at S.I.M.S that she was reunited with Akira, since learning about his job as an Independent Consultant at Rainy Days Ent. She knew she could take advantage of his skills as a programmer.

Wonder how he ended up in their house later that night, next to a suspicious kitchen fire ...

Kiki: You are not welcome here, Fae. Leave! Or I’ll make you leave. 

Akira: Please. You’re 22, Kiki. You been dead a few months. You’re no more ancient than I am mortal.

Kiki: H-how did you know? 

Akira: I can read. Signs about you are all over campus—a pretty big reward, too.

Kiki: So they’re still looking?

Akira: I guess. Anyway, you haunting the woman that was in here earlier?

Kiki: I’m not haunting her! I can’t help that she can see me.

Akira: Really? You think I don’t know how the fuck ghosts work?

Kiki: Fine, whatever, I can. But I liked being seen as me. Not all sims can do that.

Akira: And what about her little boyfriend? He see you too?

Kiki: No, but…

Akira: What?

Kiki: I’m not sure. He didn’t act like he saw me, but he made sure to put himself between us. It was like he was aware of her and…

Akira: And what, Kiki? I know that we are both immortal, but I, for one, do not want to spend my eternity with you in this fuckin’ record store. 

Kiki: I don’t either! I wish I could be anywhere else.

Akira: Yeah, well, I don’t have to wish; I can leave.  

Kiki: Did anyone ever tell you that you’re a jerk? He saw you, elf-boy. And you know what? Good fucking luck with that. With both of them, actually.  

Akira: What do you mean by that? What is he? What is she?

Kiki: Sorry, I don’t help assholes. Bye!

Akira: Son of a bitch.

Akira: I don’t have time for this.

Titania (phone): Of course you do; that’s why you picked up. I need you to come home for Harvestfest.

Akira: I’m on a job. No days off.

Titania (phone): Why do you do this?
