rEMOTION Online Play Festival is a international collaboration event with members of the Asian Creative Network. We hope to bring the spirit of collaboration and progressiveness through online theatre.

Kia ora Tumblr! I'm in an online play festival tomorrow (June 28 NZST), performing three plays in a row: "After Death" from 1:45PM (NZST), "After Death" from 1PM, and "Sara" from 1:30PM.

This festival came out of Asian Creative Network, a Facebook group for creatives of the Asian diaspora. So after a lifetime of often being the only Asian, if not the only person of color in any given audition, rehearsal, or production meeting, it means a lot to be working with mostly fellow Asians for some of these plays 😭 and it's neat getting to work with people from across the US to Northern Ireland! Though it's also extraordinarily odd waking up and going straight into a rehearsal before work, then eventually ending my day with another rehearsal then going straight to bed.
